We hear from Sharon, his wife, monthly. She is doing well with her children. Jamma's oldest son enrolled in a Christian college. Number two is also away from home in a school but all her children came together for the holidays. All three graduated with honors. Praise God for Nicholas' gifted children and his inspired Scrolls. Nicholas has become discouraged with Christians and seems to feel that his energies are better spent elsewhere. He needs your prayers for inspiration to come back to writing his scrolls. President Obama has had a very negative effect on believers. In spite of Obama's attitude toward believers we are to endure to the end. As you can tell with these newsletters, they are sporadic. My workload has increased considerably since Obama came on board because so many more issues have surfaced and they all need attention from a spiritual point of view. Today's News Continued: Continued "I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them. Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD. "We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble! The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein. "For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD. When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me. (God like a parent, watches His children self destruct) Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: "Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities? The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?" (Jeremiah 8:1-22) "And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant." (Jeremiah 9:11) The stage is set. The Tribulation is called "Jacob's Trouble". God uses prophets to talk to His people throughout the Old Testament. "Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate." (Jeremiah 44:4) Following this, God distinguishes between two types of prophets: those who allow God to speak through them and foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!" Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." Jesus lamented: Matthew 23:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" To prove that God speaks through prophets Acts 3:18 states the following: "But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled." In Revelation 11:10 we are told that there were two prophets in Jerusalem in the first part of the Tribulation. When they were killed by the Antichrist 3.5 years into the Tribulation, the world rejoiced, because they had supernatural powers that the people feared. "And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth." To prove that we can come to that conclusion read the following Scriptures detailing when the two prophets appeared and who they were and that they were called witnesses as well. The fact that there will be a third temple built becomes obvious too. "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days (same as forty months. Jews count 360 days/year), clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (Can candlesticks and olive trees be clothed in sackcloth?) "And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. "These have power to shut heaven that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. "And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit (Antichrist's body taken over by Satan) shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified (Jerusalem). "And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. "And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither (a Rapture). And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them." (Revelation 11:1-12) Who are the two prophets? Zechariah 4:3,11,12-14 "And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof." "Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? "And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth." Scripture references: Rev. 11:4; Zech. 3:7; Luke 1:19; Josh. 3:11, 13; Zech. 6:5. Remember the transfiguration of Jesus Christ and two prophets? "These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (Revelation 11:4) Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by." (Zechariah 3:7) "And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings. And behold thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season." (Luke 1:19,20) "Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan. And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap. (Joshua 3:11,14) "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Hebrews 9:27) Because of Hebrews 9:27 they were prophets who lived on the earth and did not die when they departed. Here is evidence of two who are with Jesus in bodily form. Mathew 17:1-4 "And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." "What does it mean to be transfigured? Transfiguration # 3339. Metamorphoo; denoting change of condition.. Used of Jesus involving the miracle of transformation from an earthly form into a supernatural which is denoted by the radiance of the garments, also the countenance, suggesting what the bodies of the righteous may be like in the age to come (1 Corinthians 15:51f.) "What Jesus was teaching in this miracle was that Moses and Elijah where still alive and are the only two that are qualified to become the two anointed in the streets of Jerusalem. Moses and Elijah both did powerful miracles. Moses had power from God to part the sea and bring about many other miracles and Elijah called fire from heaven. Elijah was translated when he was taken up: "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." (2 Kings 2:11) "Moses was said to have died, it was written but they never found his remains." Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. (Romans 5:14) "Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. (Jude 1:9) The fact that the archangel Michael brought Moses's body to heaven proves where Moses's body is located: in heaven confirming the two witnesses are Moses and Elijah. Not to confuse the issue but since this Scripture study is about the Tribulation and when we can know that we are in it should we not be raptured yet, there is another important element that needs to be in place. Antichrist will offer the peace that Israelis long for. In Daniel 9:27 it reads: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 yrs in God's time): and in the midst of the week (42 months later) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,(i.e. the temple rituals will stop) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." The Antichrist will be possessed by the dragon spirit at that point and will have complete control over this earth for a very short time. Demonic activity will be at its peak until Jesus Christ comes to the rescue.

What's New:   Dear Readers: In the hope you had a blessed December 2009 with all its events and are ready to face 2010. December is probably for most a difficult month. 'Merry Christmas' is fast becoming politically incorrect, even though the stores wait for shoppers of gifts all year. Believers frown on Christmas since it is a pagan holiday, there again tough to know what is expected. My mother used to teach "Silence is gold." You can't go wrong with silence. Many are going there even if the penalty is losing friends and being out of touch. President Obama promised change and is getting it indeed faster than we can adjust. Apparently adjust we must in one way or another. Believe it or not people are preparing for even tougher times than 2009. There are teachers who are beginning to address how to survive persecution such as or worse than the inquisition in Europe. I have received over a hundred new DVDs which are not indexed yet in the library which will include lessons on how to keep your faith even in a concentration camp. Believers are falling away like bees that got into genetically engineered poisoned blossoms Not to change the subject but nobody is talking about the missing flies, wasps and mosquitoes. It is possible that it is just going on in Denver, Colorado. Can you believe Jesse Ventura is acting in a new TV show on TruTV "Conspiracy Theory". Next show will be 'Global Warming' on Wednesday Night. There are Youtubes as well. In his show "Big Brother", it was brought out that flies and mosquitoes are weaponized to spy on us. Maybe that's why they are gone? Talking about being worried, the new Obama healthcare looks like euthanasia will be routine for elderlies. We are in that group and to think that a half a trillioin dollars are removed from Medicare spells out what is going to happen. Don't think for a minute that we are past the swine flu vaccinations. The news keeps reminding us that vaccinations will be ongoing just like the war. Our blog about W.H.O.Flu Pandemic Research is a must read and will remain active. For a quick note, we have a list of pregnant women who aborted their babies after they were vaccinated with H1N1 vaccine. We have two relatives who didn't listen to our advice 'not to get vaccinated'. One ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. The other got sick as well. People who are aware of the goals to depopulate planet earth are wondering why not more died from the vaccinations? Government's plans didn't work out the way they expected. Vaccinations were not available as expected. People were supposed to get three shots. The health department changed it to one shot because of the shortage of vaccines. One shot was a partial treatment. Some of you have probably already noticed that Cephas Ministry is expanding. I had a complaint that it is getting hard to navigate the websites. Following are a couple of articles (Scripture studies) that came up during this period. 'Global Warming What The Government Isn't Telling You' This was shocking news that we came upon by accident. We have a program here that is still talking about the inside information that Alex Jones, Dr. Stanley and such men address. They get calls and interview researchers. John Moore was on this particular program and talked about Global Warming. Even though we research around the clock, this information was overwhelming. To understand the DVD 'Global Warming What The Government Isn't Telling You', one has to know a little more background to understand what John did not have enough time for on the DVD. He only touches the surface. The DVD will be available in the library ASAP. 1) I'm sure you know about 2012 that they found a Mayan Calendar that strangely enough, ends on December 21 2012. Hollywood has a film out now that describes what happens in 2012 according to their prophecies. 2) Authors wrote a lot about planet X. I haven't paid much attention to that, thinking it is another one of those outer space scenarios that they love to spend time on. Planet X turns out to be a planet that is only visible every 3600 years, because it doesn't act like the rest of them. It was described in the ancient tablets along with the other nine. J.R. Moore shows the plaque they found. Planet X has a different name: Planet Xena is an orb circling the sun that was first discovered by astronomers Michael Brown, Chad Trujillo, and David Rabinowitz in 2003. Its official name at this point is UB313. However, it was nicknamed Xena. That planet comes hurling toward earth (he said it comes from the south) and causes disturbances due to the gravity and electrical atmosphere around earth. Like the moon causes ebb and flow in certain parts of the world (i.e. Holland, etc.) this planet likewise will cause the seas to go out of their banks. It could even cause the planet to tilt and cause earthquakes. The Pope has an observatory and many have wondered why? Why is he watching the planetary system? It is about that planet that is coming toward earth. It will circle the earth maybe get too close and cause disturbances. 3) Because the U.S. was the last country with many practicing Christians, the Tribulation seems to be delayed. Many expected it in the year 2000 since the six days of creation equaled 6000 years in God's time. Israel is the time piece and as the Bible describes, as small as the country is, it is in the news daily. In 1948 after the Holocaust, the nations decided it was time to allow the Jews a place to call home. They wandered the world since 70 A.D. when the 2nd temple was destroyed. Sure enough Israelis were allowed to come back to their land. Israel is described in the Bible as the figtree cursed by Jesus Christ. The tree died as did the nation of Israel. They didn't die but disbursed across the world and hid among the nations. Because God hated the Jews, so did the world's population with one exception, those hidden in Christ Jesus, born again believers, called 'the Bride of Christ'. Before we go into Scripture that compliments what is expected by the people of the world, I need to explain, that most people have problems reading Biblical descriptions of events. They don't make sense to them. The reason is that these prophecies were written thousands of years ago when weapons, as we know them, were unknown and therefore could only be described in forms of animals and reptiles. What wants to be expressed is the fierceness of what is described in the verses and their consequences. Deuteronomy 30:1-7 (KJV was used for all verses) "And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee." "If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee." Here is how God got it done: Joel 3:2 "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land." 1948 Israel came back to life. That generation of Israelis is supposed to see the return of Jesus Christ. The Bible even states how long a generation is: it can be 20 years, 70 years or 120 years. We are in the 61st year of that generation. Since Satan is going to declare himself to be God 3.5 years into the Tribulation in the third temple of Solomon, believers are watching for the temple to be rebuilt. Just this week (11.21.2009) the Israelis pronounced that they are ready to rebuild now in Jerusalem and plan to do it regardless of the political issues about the peace process. All items necessary to perform the rituals in the temple are completed. Israelis, who are waiting for their Messiah to return, worked on each requirement for many years. They have spent $27 Million dollars for ths purpose. According to latest reports, they don't need to build on the rock where the Islamic Mosque is located. Obviously Iran and Israel are going to come to blows. Nobody doubts that. It is just a matter of time. Israel is on the verge of becoming extinct because the world will go against Israel if they try to defend their land. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." Even though thousands of clergy have lined up with dividing the land of Israel, Obama is not a warmonger. He is working behind the scenes with Palestinians to get an arrangement going for peace. I believe that is why there is such hesitation to send more troops. It seems like Obama is anti Israel which doesn't make much sense since he has surrounded himself with Jews in the administration. The European Union heads of state, just appointed a Jesuit Catholic to run EU permanently. According to Malachi Martin, a former Jesuit priest, author of "Keys of This Blood", who exposed the Satanism going on in the Vatican, the next pope will be the last. The majority of researchers believe that the pope will be the Antichrist. One of his titles is "Melchizedek Priest" which is blasphemy. There can only be one such priest because it is the priesthood that grants eternal life in heaven. According to Hebrews, God granted that priesthood to Jesus Christ after He allowed Himself to be crucified. There are two popes, a black and a white pope. Since there are two personages involved in Satan's ascent, the Antichrist and a False Prophet, it is possible that the black pope who was just appointed from Spain will be the one suddenly appearing out of obscurity. He runs the Jesuit brotherhood worldwide. The pope we know, the one whom people trust, looking like the 'Lamb', could have the role of the false prophet. The scriptures state that the Antichrist rises out of the 'little horn' [kingdom] and Spain, a small country, is a big possibility. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord [designated as the Tribulation that includes the Second Coming and 1000 Year Millennium] so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness." "Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ," 4) Revelation 8:8 "And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;" Revelation 8:11 "And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter." Isaiah 17:13 "The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind." Isaiah 13:13 "Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger." Revelation 9:1-21 "And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star [Isaiah 14:12, Rev. 12:7] fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit." "And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads." "And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men." "And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king [the Antichrist possessed by the devil] over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon." "One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates." "And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. " By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt." "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." Isaiah 24:1 "Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof." Isaiah 24:20 "The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. " Revelation 18:8 "Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Addressing believers Romans 8:35 states: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" Isaiah 25:8,9 "He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation." Isaiah 2:2 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it." Isaiah 52:1 "Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean." In conclusion, I wrote the Biblical description of what is expected in the near future which obviously is parallel to natural events described in the DVD 'Global Warming What Government Isn't Telling You'. Luke 17:26 "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man." Luke 17:28-30 "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." Homosexuality promoted and taught in schools as a viable life style, abortions paid for by tax dollars without consent of the people in the coming healthcare law, lies and corruption from the top down, homelessness, joblessness, children kidnapped to become subjects to pedophiles legally protected, legalized sodomy, disrespect for God's creation from people and law enforcement, how much further can we sink from what God had in mind when He created human beings. Twice before did God contemplate destroying all of mankind. We have proven that we are not worthy of receiving this fantastic creation in unending beautiful landscapes, thousands of awesome animals, birds and reptiles, countless plants, trees, fruits and flowers, the firmament with millions of stars glistening in the night, awesome planets, sun and moon always there to let us know our world is still in tact and not to forget the knowledge that God allows us to participate in to improve our lives. The time has come for God to let us know how He feels about us since we have forgotten Him. WHY CAN'T WE BE INTO THE TRIBULATION UNTIL THE TWO PROPHETS SHOW UP IN JERUSALEM AND THE COVENANT BETWEEN THE ANTICHRIST WITH MANY IS AGREED TO? I have not met one who is aware that the Bible has been meticulously written to leave no doubt as to the prophecy. This particular subject came up in the ministry. I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned this. The Holy Spirit has a way to get us busy defending the Gospel because we are under attack and need to be able to do just that. Let's see what the KJV has to say about the two prophets, when and where they are going to appear, what they are going to be doing, why they are going to be doing what they do, and who is going to have a problem with that. Of course since no two people agree in interpreting the Bible the same, there is plenty of controversy here as well. People come up with various scenarios because they don't like literal interpretation. I happen to do literal interpretation because the Bible will back it up every time. One simply can't lose. To prepare the groundwork for the events to take place during the Tribulation or better said to set the stage, Jeremiah exhorts God's message to Israel. When the Bible talks about 'that' day, it generally refers to the Tribulation. Jeremiah relates: "Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate. (Jeremiah 7:34). To those who know who the bridegroom and the bride are, the message becomes very clear here, they will be removed. In other words it points to the Rapture. Why? God tells us why in the following verses. "And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts. Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return. I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle. "Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD. How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? "Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them? "Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. "For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation (The Tribulation) they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
