Our Founding Fathers took issue even with minor departures
from constitutional precept. They believed that the power to
infringe upon one provision of a constitution necessarily includes
the power to infringe upon all provisions. They also believed
that writing a constitution was serious business because it established
government, an entity they feared and distrusted. However, more
importantly, they understood that a constitutions prime
purpose was to control and restrain government in the hope their
fears would not materialize. However, they also recognized that,
once created, government would tend to usurp power and with each
usurpation, would grow more and more authoritative. Eventually,
this state of affairs would lead to an erosion of individual
rights and freedom. Understanding these truths, many great men
throughout history have warned us about watching our Government
so we would know when to stop obeying and start reaching for
our guns.
My purpose for pointing out the above is not to encourage
anyone to reach for a gun. In todays World, this would
be suicidal and I place a high value on my life and the lives
of others. Furthermore, I am a man of peace who firmly believes
the proper way to solve problems is through communication, not
rebellion or terrorism. However, my reason for mentioning these
quotes is because those who lead us that they have gone so far
astray from American ideals and governing principles, that I
hope by being made aware of them, they wake up and realize the
true nature of the terrible thing they are doing to us, to themselves,
and most important, to our posterity.
When our Republic was young, beyond doubt, present developments
would have Americans reaching for their guns. Thomas Jefferson
advised that from time to time, we should toss out our sitting
government and create a new one because the natural state of
government was to move toward tyranny. He also believed that,
overtime, established governments became out of date and antiquated.
Times have changed. Much of what our forefathers believed no
longer applies to the modern World. However, while this is true
for some of their beliefs, it is not true for all of them. Unfortunately,
today, our children and those who aspire to citizenship are not
taught the eternally valid governing principles and values that
served to make this Nation what it is today.
Our Constitution was written at a time when the industrial
revolution was in its infancy and populations throughout the
World were small. The most sophisticated weapons at the time
were the musket and smoothbore cannon. Today, overpopulation
has stressed the Worlds ecological systems to the breaking
point, man has walked on the surface of the moon, and weapons
exist that can destroy life as we know it on this planet. In
light of this latter truth, it would be foolish to permit unrestricted
ownership of military weapons. Therefore, we willingly submit
to infringement upon our right to keep and bear arms even though
such infringements are unequivocally prohibited by our Constitution.
Similarly, there are many other provisions within our Constitution
that no longer make sense and as a result are ignored by our
Government. It does so because most Americans trust our Government
and because no sane person would rush to arms because it did
something that made sense, only because it violated an outdated
constitutional precept?
As anticipated by the Framers, throughout history, our Government
has ignored our Constitution and thereby assumed more and more
power and authority. This practice has become so common that
it is correct to say that, today, government officials ignore
our Constitution completely, do whatever they think best, and
only pay lip service to the Constitution because Joe Citizen
thinks we still have one. Knowledgeable people have become so
complacent to this state of affairs that if anyone stands up
and accuses our Government of departing from constitutional precept,
at best, they are thought of as being "out of touch"
or, at worst, a rightwing extremist "nutjob" (I can
personally attest to the truth of this). In the past, this has
been all well and good, but unfortunately, we have now crossed
a line that should never be crossed. The situation we presently
find ourselves in is that it is considered un-American to challenge
our Government and worse, our right to do so has wrongfully been
denied by the Nations legal system. The end result of this
sorry state of affairs is that our Government now violates our
Constitution with impunity even when it doesnt make sense.
In other words, today, the very worst fears of our Founding Fathers
have been realized.
Is our state of affairs really so terrible? Despite the restrictions
placed upon our freedom by this crowded hi-tech World, we still
are the greatest Nation in history and enjoy more freedom than
citizens of most other nations. Furthermore, our bellies are
full and our material wealth is without parallel. In short, despite
the tragedy of September 11th, we are, for the most part safe,
secure, prosperous, and happy. Unfortunately, I personally do
not feel this way. To be sure, I feel safe, secure, and prosperous,
but I am not happy because throughout my twenty year career as
a public servant I labored under the sting of institutionalized
governmental tyranny and have been negatively affected by the
experience. However, independent of my personal feelings, I believe
our government has acted such that in the not too distant future,
while we still may be safe and secure, most of us will not be
prosperous, not be happy, and not be able to do anything about
it. I also strongly believe that the wrongful path chosen by
our leaders is not inevitable and can be changed if we, as a
people, wake up and recognize the terrible truth about what they
are doing to us.
What or who is the New World Order (NWO)? The NWO is not a
pipe dream and though this may come as a surprise to many of
us, with establishment of the World Trade Organization (WTO),
the NWO has formerly become a World Government. I am sure the
members of the NWO know who they are, but the problem is that
they have not told us who they are and more importantly, they
have not told us what they stand for, what they believe, and
where they intend to lead us. I for one, have a problem with
this.
First of all, if I am going to ride their ship of state, I
want to know who is at the Helm and more important, who is on
the Bridge. I also want to know where their ship is going and
the reasons for going there. As already stated, those who rule
us have told us none of these things, but unfortunately, our
situation is far worse than this. If I am going to ride on a
ship and disagree with where we are going, I want to be able
to talk to the other passengers to see if they agree with me.
Furthermore, if most of them do, I want to be able to tell the
Captain to change course. Doesnt this make sense? Isnt
this what the American experience in government is all about?
Isnt this what all human being should expect of government
irrespective of whether they are American or not? My fellow citizens
of this planet, I respectfully submit that the New World Order
will deny and has denied us these fundamental God-given human
rights
.and they justify this deplorable state of affairs
by telling us how good we have it and how good they are going
to make things for us.
Who is the New World Order? They are a group of people who
meet in secret behind closed doors and decide where we are going
and what is best for you, me, and the rest of the World. I cannot
tell you exactly who they are, but with a little bit of common
sense we can discern a lot about them. First and foremost, they
are not a democratic organization and do not subscribe to democratic
principles. If they did, they would tell us who they are, permit
us to attend their meetings, tell us what they have decided,
tell us why they have decided it, and would change direction
if most of us disagreed with their decisions. No, the New World
Order and the groupies that follow them have no use for democracy.
They decide and we follow no matter how much we dislike it, no
matter how many of us disagree with them, and no matter what
the consequence of their decisions.
Does the New World Order respect human rights? According to
Bill Clinton, our NWO spokesperson in residence, the NWO cannot
be fixated on preserving the rights of ordinary Americans and
if the personal freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution inhibit
its ability to govern us, the NWO should look to limit those
rights and guarantees. No, the NWO has no respect for human rights
and thinks their right to govern us supercedes all human rights
including those given to us by our Creator; life, liberty, the
pursuit of happiness and the right to participate in government
through petition for the redress of grievances.
Does the New World Order believe in Freedom? Yes it does,
but only for its members. They are free to do to us whatever
they please. Unfortunately, they also believe in centralized
control of everything as evidenced by the World Trade Organization;
an organization allegedly constituted to ensure and enforce fair
trade. While "fair trade" seems to be a commendable
goal, it should be understood that "fair" is a matter
of opinion and only the opinion of the WTOs ruling panels
count in this regard. Furthermore, fair trade is really a euphemism
for managed trade and left unexplained is what is "fair"
about managed trade? Free trade, surely is a casualty of managed
trade. I for one, subscribe to free trade. If I have something
you want and you have something I want, isnt it better
if you and I trade willingly instead of having a third party
intervene and tell us how we should conduct our business? Isnt
the right to trade freely, without interference, the fairest
way of doing things? Perhaps Bill Clinton can tell us where I
have gone wrong in this line of reasoning?
Does the NWO subscribe to gun control? Absolutely not! According
to Janet Reno, Bill Clintons Attorney General, gun control
is not enough, "the prohibition of private firearms is the
goal".
Because the New World Order wants to confiscate our guns some
people would call them "Neo-Totalitarians". However,
we know a lot more about them than their stand on the private
ownership of guns. The obvious and/or stated credo of the New
World Order is as follows:
· Inalienable rights do not exist. The only rights
people have are those we allow them to have.
· We know what is best for everyone and will impose our
will on people irrespective of whether or not they agree with
us.
· We owe no explanations to anyone for the decisions we
make nor are we accountable to the people we rule.
· People are not capable of understanding what is important
nor what is in their own best interest. Therefore, in secret,
we will do their thinking for them and never let them know what
is really going on.
· An uninformed citizen with a full belly is a happy citizen.
· Freedom is only good if it is kept under control.
· People cannot be trusted to own guns.
· Centralized planning and control of the Worlds
economy is the best way to achieve a secure and bountiful future.
· Centralized control of everything is the future of mankind.
Based on the above credo, the label "Neo-Totalitarian"
certainly fits quite well. However, I believe if something looks
like a duck, acts like a duck, and sounds like a duck, then it
is a duck. Therefore, in my opinion, the best way to describe
the New World Order is that they are "Neo-Communists".
Benchmarks of Communism are a centralized/planned economy with
individual rights subordinated to the common good. Granted, Bill
Clinton has not said that ownership of everything should be common
to all, primarily because he is intelligent enough not to? Irregardless,
the World Trade Organization is constituted to decide how we
will trade, but unknown to most, it is also constituted to decide
who will trade with whom and what will be traded. However, even
if this were not true, given their obvious lust for power and
the dismal track record of our own government in regard to usurping
authority, isnt it foolish to believe our new World Government
will refrain from assuming these powers? Is there any mechanism
in place to stop them from assuming these powers?
How do we save ourselves from this tyranny? First and foremost,
NAFTA and GATT must be repealed. These unconstitutional Congressional
acts have changed the nature and form of our Government such
that the United States of America no longer exists as a separate
and independent Nation. Instead we have become a World Nation,
without borders, where all people are Americans and all Americans
are just like everyone else. What is so bad about this? Nothing,
if others subscribed to the values and principles that have made
us what we are today; the most successful nation in the history
of the World. Unfortunately, while we are the envy of the World,
most people have absolutely no idea how and why we became so
strong and prosperous. It should be clear that our new Masters
have no intention of enlightening them and instead have decreed
that we will now be like the majority of the Worlds people.
Why? For the simple reason that the converse is a threat to their
authority and control.
In conclusion, in addition to the repeal of NAFTA and GATT,
what this Nation needs most at this point in our history, is
an updated and revised Constitution resulting in the reestablishment
of the Republic that made us what we are today. This new Constitution
should specifically spell out and protect the God given individual
rights of humankind, recognize the realities that presently exist
within the World, and include provision for anyone to challenge,
without reservation, the actions of government under the Constitution
whenever they think appropriate. IMPOSSIBLE, you say! Then I
say, let us join together and do the impossible because our only
alternative is subjugation and bondage. |
