Muslims much like the Mormons have a reputation for being modest, pious, law abiding citizens. Islam requires prayer five times a day to Allah and many do it. Islam is being promoted by the President and even 'Christians' like Dr. Robert Schuller, Crystal Cathedral, and others, as mutual believers who have more in common with Christians than we think. Islam is incompatible with fundamental Christianity. Islamic religion preconditions minds to ultimately reject Fundamental Christianity. Recently a furor broke out at the University of North Carolina. UNC English Professor Robert Kirkpatrick, PhD was creamed because he uses "Approaching the Qur'an" as required reading in his Literature class.(7.10.02) Attackers said that this is exposing students to indctrination to Islam. His stand was "Knowledge is Power," and he did not back off the requirement. Police Department, and a Catholic Speaker from the Catholic Theological Union, associate professor of Islam, Scott Alexander. They honored and awarded the Fire Department for a job well done on 9/11. Note how much exposure Christians are getting to Islam and their ideas since 9/11. Convention Chairman Syed Imtiaz Ahmad stated that they have a misson of peace with honor and dignity and justice. He began to speak in Islamic language as well as pray that way. All I could make out was "Allah." It was said that Islam and Federalilsm can never be synonemous. Zaid Shakir used a verse out of the Bible 1 Corinthians 13:11, touted himself a Muslim scholar telling the group that post 9/11 our community has entered manhood and should put away childish ways. He spoke highly of Islam, being a convert to it.   He said it is a life of dignity. Terror is directing aggression on innocent civilians to affect a political outcome. Islam cannot target civilians, it cannot target "good deed" type people, it cannot intitmidate people, he continued in Islamic.. and reverted back to English: because it pushes people away. We should condemn people who terrorize. There were many Muslims who died on 9/11. Our standard should be: NO ROOM FOR EMOTION - NO PERSONAL ALLEGIANCE - NO COMPROMISE - WE ARE CHALLENGED TO BE MOVED BY THE FRUSTRATION OF 'NO JUSTICE' 'NO PEACE' WHICH IS CAUSING DESPAIR AND FRUSTRATION TO COMMIT TERRORISM. Another Speaker Lquay Safi of the Association of Muslim Social Scientists stated that the use of force is permitted against OPPRESSORS. And escessive force is permitted under certain circumstances. He didn't detail under what circumstances. Jihad is not really about arms but it is "yes" when arms are allowed to be used: returning aggression in self defense (spoke Islamic) and to help people who have been badly oppressed. Historically there was no international law. Since that advent other communities can live what they believe, their own laws, and they are not allowed to enforce their own laws on others. The covenant of war over Muslims is illegitimate. The vision of the people should be to celebrate diversity, live together and promote tolerance. They use much of the same vocabulary that we do, but often deceptively attach different meanings to the terms. Now, religious and administrative duties will be divided, with three newly formed corporations running its U.S. operations. The group's president and six other board members resigned in October. Further, the United Methodist Church, the second largest sponsor of Scout Troops in the US, chided the BSA for discrimination against homosexuals and implied that the denomination may drop its long-standing ties to the Scouts. These "ties" include 12,000 Scout Troops in the UMC. In a statement issued October 10 the General Board of Church and Society of the UMC said "we would like to enthusiastically affirm and encourage this continuing partnership of the church and Scouting, [but] we cannot due to the Boy Scouts of America's discrimination against gays." It is indeed sad to see a church denomination in America condemn a non-religious organization like the BSA because of their stand on morality. Such irony reveals the ongoing apostasy of the United Methodist Church! He attacked Ollie North with the fact that Anthrax was shipped to Saddam Hussein to attack his neighbor during the Reagan administration, and our military was confronted with it which we never heard of. Now we expect our sons and daughters to fight the war? Ollie said look what we have accomplished ?? and for Donahue to stop looking at the past. He didn't deny it. According to DEBKA intelligence reports, Saddam Hussein has decided to take pre-emptive military action rather than wait for the US attack. DEBKA indicates that Saddam Hussein has managed to accumulate more than 40 nuclear weapons (six to eight of them bombs and nuclear warheads that can be delivered by missile or plane). Furthermore, the intelligence assessment indicates that Iraq has laid hands on enough enriched Uranium-235 to build another 20 to 30 nuclear devices. According to this source, the Iraqi leader has set his sights on hitting US military forces in the Middle East as well as Turkey, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Israel and may try to attack the United States itself through terrorists run by Iraqi military intelligence. Maranatha! ----- SECOND LAWSUIT FILED: THIS TIME AGAINST CONGRESS BY ATHEIST CNN The Atheist who sued his government about the Pledge of Allegiance being unconstitutional has another lawsuit going. This time he is sueing Congress. He wants them to remove two chaplains who pray every morning when the Senate and House start their day. The Senate Chaplain earns $130,000 annually and the House Chaplain $140,000. The accuser states that he pays taxes and does not want his money to be used that way. It violates separation of church and state. C-Span June 26, 2002 Senator Bob Smith of New Hampshire passed to Congress the Judicial Decision Appeals Court 9th Circuit to take out of the pledge: "under God." The Supreme Court did not come into play yet because the judge revoked his decision. "Under God" was not added to the pledge until the Knights of Columbus got busy getting it included in 1954. President Eisenhower listened to a sermon and was inspired to add it to the pledge. In a debate about this issue a Catholic lawyer pointed out that the pledge originally was signed stating "in the day of our Lord" which again points to a Christian God. He said to start taking everything that has been done apart would result in dismantling the Constitution. He believes that benefits should be withdrawn from people who commit antisocial behavior. He said that Muslims can not be allowed to have their own schools Faith Schools. He said is isolationism. There should be a national curriculum abided by. He believes in the Third Way, community, social justice translated into a different way. We are enslaved by old-fashioned ways. Socialists believe in equality in economic circumstances through education. A modern social Democracy enables people to survive this process of change due to globalization. Blair stated that moral religion has an influence on his life. It doesn't form every decision. ----- FOX NEWS ADVERTISED A NEW NEWS PROGRAM FROM PLAYBOY WITH NAKED WOMEN. ----- PRESIDENTIAL COUNCIL ON BIOETHICS VOTES ON CLONING/ STEM CELL RESEARCH One fear was that from Cloning a lineage of disorder could be produced that goes on and on. The President appointed an independent council to debate and vote on stem cell research. Presidential Council on Bioethics at Dartmouth College vary on pace of cloning but want the process to go forward. They shared their findings and reported the outcome to President Bush. This council was to vote on cell stem research / human cloning which necessitates using human beings for experimentation. From Georgetown University, Alfonso Gomez stated that an embryo is a unified organism until he becomes an adult. The idea of cloning for research, embryos are dismantled when stem cells have been removed.   Embryology a procedure on human organisms and then destroying them. Life begins with conception and you are urged to be mindful of human experimentation, you can't treat a human being as a means to an end. Because the president used this group to make up his mind, he can't be blamed for the final decision on stem cell research / cloning. So far he has set up a 4 year moratorium, a partial agreement. Already the researchers are saying that the allotted stem cells which were supposed to be available were unavailable or not usable. Private corporations are producing their own stem cells at this point. The council voted as follows: out of 18 members 7 voted in favor , 7 want cell stem research regulated and 3 wanted a ban on human cloning and stem cell research and 1 did not vote.   Newspaper columnist, Dr. Krauthammer, MD was in this group and voted against cloning. He stated that in the council the deck was stacked and based on pluralism. The experimentation will go ahead. The barrier will be breached by private experimentation. The next discussion was on patenting of human organisms. 1. Cloning involves transferring to the womb to produce children. 2. Therapeutic cloning for stem cells. Both require production of human embryos. Ethics for cloning to produce children due to infertility and reproducing loved ones. Is cloning dangerous to the child. This is beyond safety. Preselection of Geno type even on a small scale is unsafe and unacceptable. That is why they would have to have enough vaccine to immunize all Americans. Israel stated a couple of weeks ago that they were going to immunize only first responders for now. So far we have not heard whether they became contagious. That would prove if the Kenneth Shine's statement was correct. Small Pox immunizations will be mandatory, a new law. There are painful side effects. ----- WTO DEMANDS CHANGE IN U.S. TAX LAWS Many Americans already have grave concerns about the loss of sovereignty inherent in our participation in global government organizations like the UN and the WTO (World Trade Organization). Few understand, however, the extent to which Congress already capitulates to the globalists when it writes the laws that affect all of us. Last week, the WTO appellate panel ruled that U.S. tax rules exempting some corporate income earned overseas from taxation constitute an "illegal subsidy." Incredible as it seems to liberty-minded Americans, the WTO and the Europeans are now telling us our laws are illegal and must be changed.   It's hard to imagine a more blatant example of a loss of U.S. sovereignty. Yet there is no outcry or indignation in Congress at this naked demand that we change our laws to satisfy the rest of the world. I've yet to see one national politician or media outlet even suggest the obvious, namely that our domestic laws are simply none of the world's business. The sad irony is that Congress already changed our corporate tax rules last year in an attempt to appease the Europeans, who had filed a complaint with the WTO about our treatment of corporate overseas earnings.   The Europeans accuse us of "subsidizing" U.S. companies by not taxing every last penny of their foreign income. Yet virtually all European countries have what is known as a "territorial" tax system, meaning they do not tax their citizens and companies on income earned outside the country at all. By contrast, America has a "worldwide" tax system, which imposes tax on income earned anywhere. Even so, the WTO continues to accuse of us maintaining an unfair practice, setting the stage for Europe to seek billions of dollars in sanctions. The solution to the WTO complaint is obvious- we should stop taxing foreign income altogether. Surely the Europeans could not object if we changed our system to more closely resemble theirs.   After all, the IRS should not be taxing activity outside the U.S. anyway- it's outrageous that American citizens are actually less free than the socialist Europeans when it comes to income earned abroad. Prominent members of the Republican congressional leadership have stated they would prefer a territorial tax system, and I intend to hold them to it by introducing legislation that will end the taxation of foreign income. This latest affront to our sovereignty makes it clear we must get out of the WTO if we hope to avoid further international meddling in our domestic affairs. The WTO is not about free trade, but rather government-managed trade that benefits certain corporate interests. The Constitution grants Congress, and Congress alone, the authority to regulate trade and craft tax laws. Congress cannot cede even a small part of that authority to the WTO or any other international body, nor can the President legally sign any treaty which purports to do so. America's Founders never intended for our nation to become entangled in international trade agreements, and they certainly never intended to have our laws overridden by international bureaucrats.
