about a ministry and six months later God led us to the truth:

- THE SNEEZE
- They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-three students
filing into the already crowded auditorium.
With rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps; they
looked almost as grown up as they felt.
Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and moms freely brushed
away tears.
- This class would not pray during the commencements -----
not by choice but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting
it. The principal and several students were careful to stay within
the guidelines allowed by the ruling.
- They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no
one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings
on the graduates or their families. The speeches were nice, but
they were routine...
.... Until the final speech received a standing ovation. A solitary
student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and
silent for just a moment, and then he delivered his speech.
- An astounding -- SNEEZE!
- The rest of the students rose immediately to their feet,
and in unison they said, "GOD BLESS YOU."
- The audience exploded into applause. The graduating class
had found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future
with or without the court's approval. Isn't this a wonderful
story? Pass it on to all your friends.........

- WORKPLACE MINISTRY MORE THAN 'ANOTHER PROGRAM'
- :: Ongoing emphasis - Doug Spada, president of His Church
at Work, is calling churches to an ongoing, intentional process
in local churches for stirring their members to marketplace ministry.
:: ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BP)--By Kelly Davis Doug Spada spent almost
10 years in naval nuclear engineering, specializing in submarine
operations before God called him to launch His Church at Work
to empower local congregations for workplace outreach...
- :: "The purpose is to help churches build a sustainable
infrastructure in which workplace ministries can grow and thrive,"
he said. "I am not interested in another program; I want
to see transformation in the lives of others in the workplace."
- While describing His Church at Work as "a work life
revolution in the church," Spada cautions that a workplace
ministry must be intentionally focused, consistent and ongoing,
as well as process-oriented and balanced.
- :: "Workplace ministry must become more than a program
or a 'pump them up' strategy. It must be more than operating
as a parachurch ministry. It must be more than a focus on just
the 'business and professional' niche in the church," Spada
said. "It must be a catalyst that bears lasting fruit. ..."

- THE PRIMARY GOAL IS TO SERVE ISLAMIC PEOPLE
- :: Open Letter: Ted Haggard claims that to evangelize the
Muslims is: “the primary goal is not to win new Christian
converts but to serve the Islamic people.”
- :: Ted Haggard email: I believe that it is fundamental to
the presentation of the Gospel that we serve all people, whether
they are Christian or not. Thus, if they are converted, that
is wonderful and certainly our aim. However, even if they are
not converted, we still hold their best interests at heart. The
article referred to here was written when the Islamic community
in Colorado Springs was scared because of hateful comments from
Christians after 9/11, and I was assuring them that we would
protect their kids in school and their ability to shop, go to
restaurants, etc., even if they didn’t become Christians.
I wanted them to know that because they live in a community with
a large number of evangelical Christians, they can feel safe...
Haggard said he wants people to "become aware of the Islamic
community and locate their needs. That includes leaving them
alone if that's what they want. Markert said the goal is to give
people a choice of religions, not force Christianity on them.

- THE DOWNFALL OF MOODY
- :: March 13, 2003 ".. Redpath led Moody Church to join
with Graham at his 1962 Chicago crusade. Following the crusade,
Redpath joined some 1,200 other "ministers" representing
all stripes of theological belief and unbelief for a follow-up
breakfast. Redpath praised the ecumenical unity, saying that
it was wonderful that all of the different denominations were
learning to work together. He said, "[having]
forgot our labels for a little while, I trust we will not go
back to the old rut again." He praised Graham for
"uniting us" in Chicago. ..
:: In 1986, Billy Graham, one of the very fathers of New Evangelical
compromise, was the featured speaker at Moody's 100th anniversary
celebration. On that occasion, Moody Bible Institute radio pastor
Donald Cole deceptively said that Graham "has compromised
nothing" (OBF Visitor, Oct. 1982). That same year, Moody
Bible Institute president George Sweeting gave a major address
at Graham's Amsterdam '86 conference. A year earlier, Sweeting
had praised Graham in a full-page article in the October 1995
issue of Moody.

- NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION.
- :: C. Peter Wagner is one of the church growth gurus of our
day. For decades he has studied churches to see what makes them
grow, but his reports focus exclusively on the positive and do
not discern between the true and the false in doctrine and practice.
It is no surprise, therefore, that he was captured by the Charismatic
movement in the 1980s. Those who refuse to exercise keen spiritual
and doctrinal discernment in these days will certainly be led
astray by the fierce winds of error that are blowing. In 1998,
Wagner published "The New Apostolic Reformation" to
describe what he believes is happening among churches worldwide
today.
- :: He defines "The New Apostolic Reformation as "an
extraordinary work of God at the close of the twentieth century
that is, to a significant extent, changing the shape of Protestant
Christianity around the world." Anyone can see that something
of this nature is occurring, but the problem is that Wagner thinks
the ecumenical charismatic movement that is permeating Christianity
is a good thing. He supports such things as Christian rock, new
apostles in the churches, the downplaying of doctrine, the emphasis
on miracles-seeking, charismatic spiritual warfare practices
such as "binding the devil" over cities, spirit slaying,
and charismatic tongues (which are actually mere gibberish).
Beware of the pragmatic, undiscerning church growth movement.
There is a lot of error intermingled with this enticing package.

- LUTHERANS CALL FOR MORE UNITY WITH ROME.
- :: The head of the Lutheran World Federation met with Pope
John Paul II at the Vatican this month and appealed for closer
unity. Christian Krause told the pope, "Our congregations
are waiting for this visible sign and living experience of unity
in Christ" (ENI, March 14). Krause said that since the 1999
joint declaration on the doctrine of justification, "Catholics
and Lutherans in many places around the world saw each other
in a very new way, as sisters and brothers in faith." He
pleaded, "When we clasp one another's hands we must not
let go of them again." Recently I visited the St. Jakob
Lutheran Church in Rothenburg, Germany. Inside the church is
a Mary altar featuring a large wooden panel with a carving that
depicts God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
crowning Mary as Queen of heaven.

Ecumenical Church Day for Germans: Tired of Waiting on the Pope,
Catholic Priest Organizes Holy Communion Between Catholics and
Protestants. Germany's Catholics, Protestants Come Together for
Historic Event Over 200,000 people are expected to come to Berlin
for the first Ecumenical Kirchentag.
:: The Pope's refusal to grant Catholics the right to take communion
together with Protestants threatens to overshadow the first-ever
joint gathering of the churches in Germany. It's been heralded
as the turning point in the history of Christianity in Germany.
Nearly 500 years after Martin Luther upset the church with his
reformation theses, after bloody religious wars, hate and estrangement
that spanned centuries, more than 200,000 Protestants and Catholics
plan to proclaim their desire for unity over Ascension weekend
in Berlin during the country's first Ecumenical Kirchentag, which
begins Wednesday.
:: But clashes are on the agenda. While the visitors were looking
forward to celebrating the holy communion together, the Pope
ruled out the possibility.
:: In a papal encyclical issued in April, the Pope forbid sharing
the Eucharist with churches not in full communion with Rome.
Subsequently, Catholics may not engage in the ceremony with Protestants,
whose beliefs the Pope has described as an ecclesiastical community
rather than a church.
:: A Protestant congregation in the Prenzlauer Berg district
of Berlin has, nevertheless, invited visitors of both denominations
to a Catholic mass and a Protestant communion. Catholic representatives
have threatened to punish the Catholic priest who organized the
service.
- As the 100th anniversary of the founding of the first Buddhist
congregation in Germany approaches, the Dalai Lama plans to visit
the country.
 :: The Dalai Lama, Tibetan Buddhism's
spiritual leader and a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, will
be in Germany for this week's historic meeting between Catholics
and Protestants in Berlin and to meet regional leaders from May
28 to June 2. His visit comes shortly before the 100th anniversary
of Buddhism as an organized religion in the country.

- LUTHERAN LEADER REINSTATED TO POST.
- :: Church News: May 23, 2003 David W. Cloud, Fundamental
Baptist Information Service - Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
(LCMS) Pastor David Benke, who was suspended from his denominational
post for participating in an interfaith prayer service, has been
reinstated. The ecumenical event occurred in New York City on
September 23, 2001, following the terrorist attacks that destroyed
the World Trade Center Twin Towers. Participants included Muslims
who prayed to their false god Allah and modernists who have replaced
the God of the Bible with one of their own making.
- :: A group of 18 LCMS pastors brought a complaint against
Benke, arguing that "he helped spread false doctrine and
engaged in syncretism by worshipping with non-Christians"
(ENI, May 19, 2003). When Benke subsequently lost his position
of president of the LCMS's Atlantic District, he did not repent
or even admit having done anything wrong. Instead he appealed
the decision to a denominational committee. On May 12 of this
year, the committee announced its decision that there were no
grounds for the charges against Benke, claiming that his participation
in the interfaith prayer meeting was merely "a discretionary
response to a quite extraordinary set of circumstances in a quite
unordinary event." We wonder why the compromising committee
did not quote 2 Cor. 6:14-18, which is directly relevant to the

- BIBLICAL END TIME DISCERNMENT MINISTRIES APPROACHED TO TEACH

apparently has started the ball rolling. He was introduced to
this ministry on Robert Schuller's pulpit some time ago and the
report is on the website. This concept is unacceptable to Christians.
Our God is a triune God, The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
are one God. We have nothing in common with the gof described
in the Koran.

the `Abrahamic' religion (monotheism) holds in hopes the following
may spark a cohesiveness among your followers:

your interesting website. From several pages, I got the impression
you could most certainly take an active part in promoting tolerance
- not only within your own community - but to others outside
the faith as well, making that slight but important connecting
bridge within monotheistic circles so delicately balanced these
days.
- :: Yes ! I Believe that "connecting" link IS POSSIBLE
- :: First, all of monotheism believe in a FUTURE coming of
messiah. Whether it would be his FIRST or SECOND COMING, we all
share in this belief of "MESSIAH".

Islam, devotees already have even more in common with Christianity

- 5) Antichrist ( "Daggial al Masih" ) to appear
at end times, prior Jesus' return
6) Christian & Muslim affinity as witnesses 5;82 (possibly
even Rev 11:3)

- TRAPPED IN THE MATRIX

Neo, is 'the One,' who according to prophesy, will
save the world from cyber-slavery."1

journey in dramatized form.... [Humans] were put into a deep
sleep, and a collective dream was engendered to keep them tractable
and docile, like babies in their cribs, while their vital life
force was sucked from them. Humans are bred and raised directly
into these incubators, and fed intravenously with the liquefied
remains of the dead. This is pure occultism....

is where Morpheus and his crew come in. They are the 'awakened'

I still don't fully understand its many-layered messages. And
since the Matrix opens the door to a wide variety of personal
perceptions and interpretations, you may not agree with my conclusions.
But the movie's allure among Christians demands a response, and
the concerns shared by troubled parents call for answers. Here
are some of their comments:
- :: I have been amazed--appalled,
really--at the number of articles quoting Christian ministers
as saying things like, 'This movie is better than any sermon
I could give!'"

to see that movie."

out several years ago I was encouraged to find several overt
biblical references in the storyline, including a reference to
the story's main character, NEO as 'my own personal Jesus
Christ'. Unfortunately, as I watched and then re-watched
this story unfold, I also found repeated references to Confucianism,
Taoism and Buddhism. It was enough to convince me that what I
was watching was most likely a covert advertisement for some
new, and as yet, unannounced BLENDED world religion of tolerance....
An entire generation of kids is being caught up in this craze....
Might be worth a closer look."

Josh Cooke couldn't get enough of Matrix 1. He decorated his
bedroom with a poster of Neo, the savior-hero of this popular
myth. He had a long black trench coat that helped him identify
with his favorite idol. And, according to an article titled,
"Matrix films blamed for series of murders by
obsessed fans,"
he bought a gun like the one Neo used. Author Duncan Campbell
tells what happened next:

February, he shot his father and mother in the basement of their
home and then called the police. His lawyers say he believed
that he was living inside the Matrix.... 'He's just obsessed
with it.'...
:: "The Matrix seems to have spawned other imitators....In
San Francisco in 2000, Vadim Mieseges, 27, killed his landlady....
The police who interviewed him said he had made 'reference to
being sucked into the Matrix'.
:: "The young man accused of taking part in last year's
sniper attacks in the Washington area has also cited the film.
'Free yourself of the Matrix,' wrote Lee Boyd Malvo, 18, one
of the two defendants, in his jail cell."

- ISLAMIC SPIRITUALITY AND THE DECLINE OF THE WEST

- :: I start from the belief that Islamic civilisation at its
best, like many of the religions of the East ­
Judaism, Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism ­ has an important
message for the West in the way it has retained an integrated
and integral view of the sanctity of the world around us. I feel
that we in the West could be helped to rediscover the roots of
our own understanding by an appreciation of the Islamic tradition's
deep respect for the timeless traditions of the natural order.
- :: I believe that process could help in the task of bringing
our two faiths closer together. It could also help us in
the West to rethink, and for the better, our practical stewardship
of man and his environment ­ in fields such as health-care,
the natural environment and agriculture, as well as in architecture

- TODAY'S MESSAGE TO BELIEVERS SPEAKS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH
- :: Genesis 3: 1 - 24 describes Satan's strategy to lure men
and women from knowing or obeying the Word of God. Lust of the
eyes, the lust of the flesh and the boastful pride of life. Power,
money and sex. He will continue to turn the truth of God into
a lie concerning all these three. And when this results in the
misery of men and women. It is interesting that this lure can
be applied to the International World Trade promise to third
world countries and even citizens of the U.S. and Europe. The
focus and competition is about who gets the biggest carrot. The
religions of the world are in the middle of this. There are billions
of dollars rolling in religious systems which does not come from
the poor but the corporations who have expectations of a return.
What is the return? proselytizing people into a religion to teach
them obedience, meekness, tolerance, service, etc.. to a point
where the Bible states
- :: Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the
most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High,
and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into
his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Right
now movements like the Baptists i.e. are preparing their congregations
in new strategies of proselytizing, in fact what it results in
is prosylitizing is off the table. The new way is to respect
all religions as viable and come together with them to get world
social problems under control. The world social problems are
about jobs, health and peace. It all sounds fine if that were
really the case. Taking all the industrial complexes (jobs) to
foreign lands has not produced what was promised. It has produced
low wages and cheap throw away products what are expected to
be bought by Americans who have lost their livelyhood. The result
has been riches for the rich and the religious movements are
helping to make this happen. Islam does not worship a triune
God and when President Bush raises that religion as a great religion,
HE IS SPEAKING AGAINST THE MOST HIGH.
- :: God will make Christians who agree with that message accountable.
This does not mean that he is the Antichrist. Daniel 7:25 refers
to the tribulation but what is happening now is preparation for
the tribulation. It is very obvious now that there will be much
sufferage financially in the world. The dollars that were invested
in the Stockmarket belonged to people who were saving for their
retirement and $7 trillion simply disappeared into thin air??
If you believe that I'll sell you the Brooklyn bridge. The worst
part of it is that nobody has been prosecuted and jailed to this
day. The first deed after the Antichrist takes the throne in
the middle of the tribulation is destroy the false church. Lucifer
was part of God's court and probably highly revered God at some
point because he hates the false church as much as God hates
it. To show why we can't have allegiance with this system is
- :: Daniel 8: 24-25 says: And his power shall be mighty, but
not by his own power, and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall
prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the
holy people…. And through his policy also, he shall
cause Craft (refers
to the Lodge) to prosper in his hand, and he shall
magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many….
(at this point Daniel faints in verse 7…. So horrible was
the vision of deception and destruction which would come upon
Israel). Following is an example that the religious movements
are involved with corporations and the government.

- CONSERVATIVE GROUPS TO PULL SUPPORT IF BUSH COURTS GAYS
- The church admits it swings the election even though the
IRS exempt status forbids involvement in electing a president.
- :: Washington - 6.1.2003 - The emergence of gays as a more
vocal presence in the Republican politics is enraging leaders
of conservative groups. In recent weeks, those groups have been
sending pointed messages to the White House warning President
Bush's re-election is in jeopardy if he continues to court the
"homosexual lobby." Two main tenets of Bush's brand
of Republicanism - the "big tent" philosophy and the

could occur this month, when the Supreme Court rules on a case
involving a Texas law banning sodomy. When Sen. Rick Santorum,
R-Pa., commented on the case, he infuriated many by likening
homosexualilty to incest and bigamy. Gay Republicans said they
were emboldened by Santorum's remark, which they said gave them
leverage to persuade party leaders to be more accommodating,
or at least less hostile.

over a meeting in March between Marc Racicot, GOP chairman, who
is widely expected to become Bush's campaign chairman, and the
Human Rights Campaign, an advocacy group for equal rights. "He

Racicot also met with a dozen leaders of socially conservative

- WYCLIFFE USED BY CIA, ROCKEFELLERS?

Christian Conscience (P.O. Box 17346, Des Moines, IA 50317) which
covers a long history of interlocking connections between the
Rockefeller family, Wycliffe Bible Translators and the CIA. Though
written by liberal leftists, there are 65 pages of small-print,
documented footnotes. It says missionaries were often used to
"pacify" the Indian tribes (So. America, etc.) while
their land was being raided for oil or mineral reserves. Wycliffe
began enjoying the favor of CIA agents and government officials,
and corporations who donated lots of money, planes, land, etc.
to WBT. Liberals have made similar charges before, and that missionaries
cooperated in the genocide of tribes, but Leslie, admittedly
skeptical at first, said the documentation became overwhelming.
The book's authors opined that most missionaries in the field
were unaware of the big picture. Wycliffe, and its Summer Institute
of Linguistics (SIL), has a long history of collaborating with

undefined period, following a service organised in Berlin at
the end of May, to challenge official Vatican rules preventing

- U.S. GIVES BECHTEL A MAJOR CONTRACT IN REBUILDING IRAQ
- :: Washington, April 17 — The Bush administration awarded
the Bechtel Group of San Francisco the first major contract today
in a vast reconstruction plan for Iraq that assigns no position
of authority to the United Nations or Europe.
- :: The award will initially pay Bechtel, a closely held San
Francisco company that posted $11.6 billion in revenue last year,
$34.6 million and could go up to $680 million over 18 months.
- :: But those amounts could be only a fraction of what it
costs to rebuild Iraq's airports, water and electric-power systems,
roads and railroads.
- :: The reconstruction of Iraq, a task that experts have said
could cost $25 billion to $100 billion, is part of a broad American-led

- NEW POWERS TO SNOOP SOUGHT DOMESTIC ACCESS FOR CIA, ARMY
:: Washington Bureau by Tom Brune - May 3, 2003 - The Bush administration
is secretly trying to expand the investigative powers of the
CIA and military, allowing them to demand personal and business
records of people in this country, government officials confirmed
yesterday.
- :: If enacted, the new powers would broaden the scope under
which the CIA and Defense Department could legally gather sensitive
records from businesses and other organizations in the pursuit
of foreign intelligence and terrorism investigations, civil liberties
advocates and experts said yesterday...
- :: Civil libertarians and privacy advocates called the proposal
an "outrage" and complained it represents "a radical
change in U.S. law" that should be openly debated as an
important policy matter and not discussed only behind closed
doors.
- :: The provision containing the proposal was quietly attached
to the intelligence authorization bill being considered in confidential
sessions of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, officials
said.
- :: Democrats on the committee on Thursday discovered the
provision, objected to it and after debate won its removal, according
to officials and advocates. But the provision still could be
re-introduced in the Senate committee, on the Senate floor or
in the House before Congress finally approves the intelligence
authorization, officials and advocates said.

- SENATORS ON THE COMMITTEE REFUSED TO COMMENT.
- :: The exact language of the proposal remains secret, but
those familiar with it said it would grant authority to the CIA
and the military to use administrative subpoenas known as "national
security letters," which require no court approval or any
public reporting and now are almost exclusively used by the FBI.
- :: The letters, authorized by law in the 1980s, require Internet
providers, credit card companies, libraries and other organizations
that maintain records to disclose information such as phone records,
financial records and e-mail logs.
- :: Under provisions of the Patriot Act passed in 2001, the
CIA and military intelligence can gain access from the FBI to
information collected through national security letters.
- :: Under the new proposal [Patriot II], the CIA and
military would not have to rely on the FBI. The CIA could demand
records for individuals if they were relevant to not only investigations
of counterterrorism and counterintelligence, but also for any
foreign intelligence, including international organized crime
and drug trafficking. The proposal would limit the military's
use of the letters to counterterrorism.

about the proposal's redefinition of the CIA's role, which by
its charter is not to have domestic investigative, law enforcement
or subpoena power.

- WHITE HOUSE REFUSES TO RELEASE SEPT. 11 INFORMATION
:: Washington - May. 05, 2003 - Knight Ridder Newspapers by Frank
Davies - The Bush administration and the nation's intelligence
agencies are blocking the release of sensitive information
about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center
and the Pentagon, delaying publication of a 900-page congressional
report on how the terrorist assault happened.
- :: Intelligence officials insist the information must be
kept secret for national security reasons. But some of the information
is already broadly available on the Internet or has been revealed
in interim reports on the investigation, leading to charges that
the administration is simply trying to avoid enshrining embarrassing
details in the report.
- :: Disputed information includes a well publicized warning
from an FBI agent that al-Qaida supporters might be training
in U.S. flight schools and the names of the president and his
national security adviser as people who may have received warnings
that a terrorist attack was possible before Sept. 11, one official
said...
- :: In December, the joint inquiry produced a summary of findings
and recommendations on how to improve intelligence, but the complete
report was withheld so agencies could review and declassify some
portions of it...

said on condition of anonymity Monday that "the process

of disagreement was the so-called Phoenix memo of July 2001,
