- : MORE GREETINGS to all and the newcomers to this list. We'd
like to introduce ourselves. George and Rita Williams founded
this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years.
We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking
out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth:
out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at the time we
were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years. [George
passed away to heaven in March 2003 and Nicholas Stivers joined
the ministry as Vice President.]
- The Holy Spirit brought us to information about all the cults
and the present development of the New World Order. We began
bringing our research to you. Because all the research was already
done, we decided to build a library within Cephas Ministry. Our
newsletters are not designed to provoke
anger or resistance to evil which is strictly prohibited in Scripture.
It is to shed light on activities by those who would deceive
the elect by devious methods and systematic plans.

- The focus of these newsletters is to prove why we had
to leave the world system. We are called 'Watchmen on the
Wall' which God always had during the Old / New Testament Times.
- To understand what is happening, one has to know the Bible
to compare notes.
- The first section is about the church.
The news about churches is unedited unless indicated by Ednotes.
The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
which doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word of God has
undergone many changes to fit the present mode. The Bible calls
for a falling away from the truth before Jesus
comes back for His Bride, the true believers called 'Ekklesia.'
Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the Bible is true
from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, so called democratizing what is left. One third of the
world still remains to be taken over. It again proves that we
are moving to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied
in the Bible.
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings with what is happening in Israel. We describe and watch
for signs of the coming Tribulation to confirm that we are moving
into that space and time.
- Watchmen on the wall do not solicit memberships. We have
an email group that gets information when we upload new information
and a newsletter whenever it is possible time wise. We love the
Lord with all our hearts and minds and we love all people God
has created but especially those who love our Lord and Savior,

- JUDGE TOSSES OUT CASE OVER JESUS' EXISTENCE

- Atheist Loses Bid to Take Priest to Court - CorbisThe claim
that Jesus existed does not violate Italian law, a judge ruled.
ROME (Feb. 10. 2006) -- An Italian judge has dismissed an atheist's
petition that a small-town priest should stand trial for asserting
that Jesus Christ existed, both sides said on Friday.
- Luigi Cascioli, a 72-year-old retired agronomist, had accused
the Rev. Enrico Righi of violating two laws with the assertion,
which he called a deceptive fable propagated by the Roman Catholic
Church.
- "The Rev. Righi is very satisfied and moved," Righi's
attorney, Severo Bruno, said. "He is an old, small-town
parish priest who never would have thought he'd be in the spotlight
for something like this." Cascioli, a former schoolmate
of Righi's, said he had not expected the case to succeed in overwhelmingly
Roman Catholic Italy. "This is not surprising but it doesn't
mean it all ends here," he said, adding that he's considering
taking the case to the European Court of Human Rights.
- "This is an important case and it deserves to go ahead,"
he said.
- Judge Gaetano Mautone said in his decision that prosecutors
should investigate Cascioli for possible slander.
- The ruling was released Thursday in Viterbo, a town north
of Rome where the priest is based. Cascioli filed a criminal
complaint against Righi in 2002 after Righi wrote in a parish
bulletin that Jesus existed, that he was born to a couple named
Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem and that he lived in Nazareth.
- Righi, 76, said substantial historical evidence proves Jesus'
existence.
- Cascioli claimed that Righi's assertions violated two Italian
laws: one barring "abuse of popular belief," or fraudulently
deceiving people; and another barring "impersonation"
or personal gain from attributing a false name to someone.

- CATHOLIC GROUP TO ATTEND WORLD-COUNCIL ASSEMBLY
- VATICAN CITY, FEB. 10, 2006 (Zenit.org).- A Catholic delegation
will attend the 9th General Assembly of the World Council of
Churches, to be held Feb. 14-23 in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
- It marks the first time that the World Council will hold
its assembly in Latin America. The theme of the event is "God,
in Your Grace, Transform the World." More than 700 official
delegates from 340 member churches of the World Council will
participate. Cardinal Walter Kasper, president of the Pontifical
Council for Promoting Christian Unity, will attend the opening
session of the assembly, and convey a message of greeting from
Benedict XVI.
- Bishop Brian Farrell, secretary of the pontifical council,
will head an official Catholic delegation of 18 delegated observers.
The members of the delegation are drawn from the Roman Curia,
bishops' conferences, representatives of superiors general based
in Rome, and lay movements. The Catholic Church is not a member
of the World Council of Churches, but cooperates with it in various
ways.

- NOAH'S ARK RESTS IN IRAN?
Army officer stationed in Irain in 1943 thinks he's found the
landing place of Noah's Ark in mountainous region Despite popular

- 'BILLION SOULS' PASTORS CONFERENCE FEATURES ROMAN CATHOLIC
SPEAKER.

) - The Global Pastors Network (GPN) is alleged to be "the
greatest concerted effort of evangelism in history." In
January it sponsored the Billion Soul Pastors Conference in Orlando,
Florida, with the goal of planting five million new churches
and converting one billion souls to Christ over the next ten
years. The GPN was founded in 2002 by the late Bill Bright and
James O. Davis, and so far it has brought together 20,000 pastors
from 70 countries. At the first conference, in January 2002,
Bill Bright expressed the GPN'S grandiose scheme: "The Global
Pastors Network will create a technological presence for the
purpose of touching, teaching, and training EVERY PASTOR IN THE
WORLD." The endeavor is an ecumenical hodge-podge that includes
Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptists, Nazarenes, Episcopalians,
Pentecostals, Charismatics, Word-Faith proponents, Calvary Church,
you name it. Keynote participants have included Pat Robertson,
Ted Haggard, Jerry Falwell, Reinhold Bonnke, John Maxwell, Billy
Joe Daugherty, Jack Hayford, Elmer Townsend, Tony Evans, Larry
Burkett, Rick Warren, Stephen Olford, Kay Arthur, Charles Stanley,
Adrian Rogers [recently passed away], and H.B. London. Kenneth
Ulmer, one of the leaders of GPN, claims that fulfilling the
goal of reaching one billion souls "will certainly mean
some kind of new world order" ("Pastors Hope to Spread
Gospel, Hasten End Time," Seattle Times, Feb. 8). That is
the postmillennial or "kingdom now" heresy. One of
the speakers at January's Billion Soul Pastors Conference was
New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, a Roman Catholic who supports
"abortion rights and gay rights." Giuliani is a good
politician and he knows religion, but he does not know the gospel
of the grace of Jesus Christ, and this illustrates the confusion
that surrounds this type of ecumenical endeavor. The Bible demands
true unity of doctrine and purpose. "Now I beseech you,
brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak
the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but
that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in
the same judgment" (1 Cor. 1:10). It is very strange thing
to create a massive program to reach one billion souls when you
have not even agreed on the definition of the gospel, not to
speak of the myriad of other doctrines that compose the New Testament
faith.

- CHARISMATIC SOUTHERN BAPTISTS.
- Friday Church News Notes, February 17, 2006 (David Cloud,
www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - Central
Baptist Church of Hixson, Tennessee, which advertises itself
as a "Spirit-filled Southern Baptist church," is hosting
its eighth annual Fresh Oil & New Wine Conference in March.
The conference features some of the most radical charismatic
leaders, including Rod Parsley and Randy Feldschau. Parsley preaches
a prosperity, Word-Faith message. He says, "Salvation and
healing are two gifts wrapped up in the same package" (Parsley,
The Backside of Calvary, 1991). He teaches that the believer
can have whatever he desires through faith and confession but
that he must "believe for a bicycle" before he can
believe God for "a new Lincoln Continental" (Parsley,
audio tape, The Subject of Sin). He believes God speaks revelation
directly to and through him. He claims that such things as anger
and lack of finances and headaches are demons, and that by a
40 day fast you can "kill Beelzebub, the fly father"
(Parsely, June 12, 1998). Randy Feldschau is pastor of the Brownsville
Assembly of God where a charismatic wildfire "revival"
broke out in June 1995. One of its characteristics was "spiritual
drunkenness." The pastor at that time, John Kilpatrick,
lay on the platform for four hours in a drunken stupor, unable
to move. Kilpatrick tells of driving in that condition and running
into garbage cans and backing into another automobile. Men in
the church had to haul Kilpatrick out of the auditorium in a
wheelchair because he was too drunk to walk. On one occasion
Kilpatrick fell onto the platform and a woman from the "worship
team" fell into his arms and they lay on the platform in
a drunken stupor together. In 2003 Kilpatrick resigned the pastorate
to enter an "apostolic ministry" and was replaced with
a husband-wife team, "pastors" Randy and Suzanne Feldschau.
Though the church is much smaller now than when the alleged revival
broke out and many have left in confusion at the extreme disharmony
and strange fruit that the "revival" produced, Feldschau
supports it as a move of God. This is the type of unscriptural
nonsense that is promoted by Central Baptist Church and its senior
pastor, Ron Phillips. More than 500 Southern Baptist pastors
attended the Fresh Oil & New Wine Conference in 2000.

- EVANGELICALS CONCERNED ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING. - Church News
Notes, February 17, 2006 (David Cloud, www.wayoflife.org) - Eighty-six
evangelical leaders are backing an initiative to resist global
warming. The "Evangelical Climate Initiative" claims
that "millions of people could die in this century because
of climate change." Signers include Rick Warren, pastor
of Saddleback Church, and Duane Litfin, president of Wheaton
College. The initiative calls for legislation requiring reduction
of carbon dioxide emissions and will feature political lobbying
and television and radio advertising in an effort to change public
opinion. Another group of 22 evangelical leaders, including Chuck
Colson and James Dobson, signed a statement declaring that "global
warming is not a consensus issue," as if a consensus among
"evangelicals" is any sort of authority whatsoever.
The fact is that the Bible is our sole authority for faith and
practice and it gives no support for Christians to be caught
up in environmentalism. After His resurrection the Lord Jesus
Christ gave His final marching orders, called the Great Commission,
and there is not a hint about environmentalism or any other grand
social-political scheme. The "global warming" we need
to be concerned about is that described in 2 Peter 3:10-11. "But
the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the
which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all
these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought
ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness."

- CORRECTION TO GIBSON MOVIE REPORT
It is now understood that recent reports connecting Mel Gibson
to producing a movie on Medjugorje are incorrect. The reports
first surfaced in the Croatian newspaper Vecernji list on February

Story 2: Film writer Carol Kuk was in Medjugorje preparing a
movie script.
- However, Carol’s film script is not connected with Mel
Gibson or any future visit to Medjugorje by the producer. The
quote given by Fr Jozo, saying that the movie will be a spiritual
story, is correct, but made in reference to Carol Kuk’s
script and not in any way connected with Mel Gibson.
- Carol Kuk has confirmed that she has no personal connection
with Mel Gibson, that reports linking her script with Gibson
are not true, and that she is working with Fr Jozo’s office
to clear up this error.

February 25 - Mel Gibson and New Film on Medjugorje: Mel Gibson,
the Hollywood actor and film producer, is due to visit Medjugorje
in February to begin work on a new film based on the apparitions
and messages of Our Lady. Gibson, who directed, The Passion of
Christ, is thought to have been influenced by actor Jim Caviezel,
a frequent visitor to the Shrine with his wife, Kerri. Commenting
on the documentary film, Fr Jozo Zovko said it will be a spiritual
story, not a movie about miracles and extraordinary events. The
former pastor of the Medjugorje parish also had some input to
Mel Gibson's film, The Passion of Christ. Lead actor Jim Caviezel
spent 10 days with the Franciscan priest to help prepare for
the role as Jesus. At that time the Resurrection scene was not
part of the film, but was included at Fr Jozo's suggestion.
- Film writer Carol Cook recently spent two months in Siroki
Brijeg (Fr Jozo's parish) and Medjugorje preparing the script
for this latest Mel Gibson production before returning to the
United States. She has a personal interest in Medjugorje after
travelling there soon after witnessing and losing friends in
the 9/11 disaster in 2001. More recently, she attended a retreat
given by Fr Jozo last October.
- This is not the first time Hollywood has turned its spotlight
on Medjugorje. In the mid-90's Martin Sheen, Morgan Fairchild
and Michael Yorke starred in the film Gospa, directed by Jakov
Sedlara.

extreme sadness that I report to you that my friend,  Anthony
Burger passed away last night while playing a solo onboard ship,
on the Gaither cruise. I received a call about 8:50 pm. Early
reports say that he was playing "We Shall Behold Him".
He stopped playing and started trembling and then collapsed.
First reports said it was a heart attack. I didn't want to announce
it right away because I knew hardly none of the family had been
told, I wanted to be respectful to them and didn't want them
to see it on the internet before hearing it from the proper people.
I spoke with Lori, his daughter about 10 pm and she said that
they were at sea, and weren't scheduled to dock at a port til
later today. She is flying to Nassau to meet her Mom. With all
the red tape there will be, all the autopsies, the different
customs of the Bahamas and the US, I am sure it will be next
week before the funeral will take place. I will keep the Krew
posted so that you all can pray for his family. Anthony was a
great friend to me. Two years ago, when my world fell apart,
he would call me several times a week to make sure I was ok.
I will miss his friendship, his talent, and his great attitude.
Please pray for Lou Ann, his parents, his brother and his three

landmark golden dome and spawning mass protests and reprisal
attacks against dozens of Sunni mosques as leaders pleaded for
calm.
- President Bush urged restraint among rival religious factions
in Iraq, and pledged American help to restore the revered Shiite
shrine.

those responsible for this terrible act,” Bush said in a

the people of Iraq to rebuild and restore the Golden Mosque of

- Al-Sistani forbids revenge attacks.. Shiite spiritual leader
Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani sent instructions to his followers

Sunni mosques, including a shrine containing the tomb of Talha

- DNA tests contradict Mormon scripture. The church says the
studies are being twisted to attack its beliefs.

Mormon Church instilled in Jose A. Loayza the conviction that
he and millions of other Native Americans were descended from
a lost tribe of Israel that reached the New World more than 2,000
years ago. "We were taught all the blessings of that Hebrew
lineage belonged to us and that we were special people,"
said Loayza, now a Salt Lake City attorney. "It not only
made me feel special, but it gave me a sense of transcendental
identity, an identity with God."
- A few years ago, Loayza said, his faith was shaken and his
identity stripped away by DNA evidence showing that the ancestors
of American natives came from Asia, not the Middle East.
- "I've gone through stages," he said. "Absolutely

- HAGEE,. FALWELL DENY ENDORSING 'DUAL COVENANT'
Jerusalem Post, Israel - Mar. 2, 2006 www.jpost.com - Pastors
John Hagee and Jerry Falwell have both denied a report in The
Jerusalem Post earlier this week that they embrace the "dual
covenant" theology, which holds that Jews are saved through
a special relationship with God and so need not become Christians
to get to heaven. In a statement to the Post, the Texas-based
televangelist Hagee said that neither he nor Southern Baptist
pastor Falwell "believe or teach Dual Covenant." Hagee
added that he had "made it a practice for 25 years not to
target Jews for conversion" at any "Night to Honor
Israel" events. If Jews "inquire about our faith at
a later time, we give them a full scriptural presentation of
redemption." He stressed that "regardless of the response
from the Jewish person, we remain friends in support of the State
of Israel as required by scripture."
Falwell, meanwhile, posted a statement on his website to the
effect that he believes "all people - Baptists, Methodists,
Pentecostals, Jews, Muslims, etc." must accept Jesus in
order to enter heaven. Falwell highlighted his strong support
of the State of Israel and his "love" for the Jewish
people - "the chosen people of God." He went on to
"reaffirm that I am a Zionist in terms of Israel's entitlement
to its homeland. I continue to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem,
as the Bible instructs Christians to do. And I have dedicated
my life and ministry to working for the peace of Israel."
But he stressed: "I have been on record all 54 years of
my ministry as being opposed to dual covenant theology... I simply
cannot alter my deeply held belief in the exclusivity of salvation
through the Gospel of Christ for the sake of political or theological
expediency. Like the Apostle Paul, I pray daily for the salvation
of everyone, including the Jewish people."

- Roughly 450 churches in the USA celebrated the 197th birthday
of Charles Darwin with an "Evolution Sunday." According
to these confused congregations the theory of evolution is compatible
with "faith" and Christians do not have to choose between
religion and science. The event grew out of The Clergy Letter
Project, which has resulted in 10,000 "clergy members"
signing a statement urging public schools to continue teaching
evolution ("Clergy to Mark Evolution," Chicago Tribune,
Feb. 12). The Clergy Letter Project was founded by Michael Zimmerman,
a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh who wants
to warn people against "shrill fundamentalist voices that
demand that people have to choose between religion and science."
Pastor Mike Southcombe, of St. John's United Church of Christ
in Brighton, Illinois, says, "I find deep spirituality in
the truths of evolution." Virginia Snapp-Cunningham, pastor
of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mexico, Maine,
says, "I believe the Bible doesn't have to be taken literally"
(Lewiston Sun-Journal, Lewiston, Maine, Feb. 10). This female
pastor quotes Albert Einstein as follows: "Science without
religion is lame; religion without science is blind." Einstein
was mentally brilliant but spiritually blind. Religion that agrees
with science at all points is foolish because scientific theories
are in a constant flux, and true religion is not blind for it
is founded upon the bright light of God's Word. It is impossible
to reconcile the statements of the Bible on man's origin with
the theory of evolution.

- CATHOLIC LEAGUE states: ".. He continued to produce
books, articles, and newspaper columns at an astonishing rate,
and accepted invitations to preach throughout the country and
across the world. Sheen's personal success at winning converts—the
list included writer Clare Boothe Luce, industrialist Henry Ford
II, and ex-Communist Louis Budenz—attracted national attention.
Unmentioned in the press were the thousands of average Americans
who came into the Church because of Sheen's efforts. When, in
1951, the Archdiocese of New York decided to enter the world
of television, Sheen was a natural choice to appear on screen.
The initial half-hour lectures were broadcast on the tiny Dumont
Network, opposite big budget programs by comedian Milton Berle,
"Mr. Television," and singer-actor Frank Sinatra. No
one gave Sheen a chance to compete effectively. Soon, however,
Sheen took the country by storm, winning an Emmy, appearing on
the cover of Time magazine, and entering the "most admired"
list of Americans. In its second year, "Life Is Worth Living"
moved to the ABC Network and had a sponsor, the Admiral Corporation.
- Sheen's talks, delivered in the full regalia of a bishop,
were masterful. He worked on each presentation for 35 hours,
delivering it in Italian and French to clarify his thoughts before
going on television. He at no time used notes or cue cards, and
always ended on time. The set was a study with a desk, a few
chairs, and some books; the only prop was a blackboard. A four-foot
statue of Madonna and Child on a pedestal was clearly visible.
Sheen's humor, charm, intelligence, and considerable acting skill
radiated throughout the "Live Is Worth Living" series,
captivating millions eager to hear Christian (only indirectly
Catholic) answers to life's common problems.
- Some of Sheen's talks and writings dealt with Communism,
which the Bishop, a student of Marxism and a personal friend
of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, thought a dire threat to the
nation and the world. But at no time did Sheen appear with or
praise Senator Joe McCarthy (he had little use for politicians
of any stripe) or directly support the Second Red Scare, which
swept through the country during the early 1950s. Sheen was
also a student of Freud, and was consistently critical
of Freudian psychology. Sheen's best-selling book, Peace Of Soul,
presented his views on the subject forcefully. At about the same
time, the bishop wrote a powerful book on the Virgin Mary, The
World's First Love, followed a few years later by an equally
impressive Life of Christ.
- For all of his concerns about worldly issues, Sheen was above
all a supernaturalist, who fervently believed that God is love,
that miracles happen, and that the Catholic Church best taught
the divinely revealed truths about life and death. As he put
it in Peace Of Soul, "nothing really matters except the
salvation of a soul." Still, Sheen was not a plaster saint.
Vanity was a constant problem for him, and he knew it. As both
priest and bishop, Sheen lived and dressed well and enjoyed the
publicity he received in the media and the applause of adoring
crowds. Perhaps more serious was an offense that was not discovered
until twenty years after his death: while a young teacher at
Catholic University, in order to expedite his academic career,
he invented a second doctorate for himself.
- Sheen could also be difficult at times when his authority
was challenged. In the early 1950s, he and Cardinal Spellman,
a very proud man, engaged in a bitter feud largely over the dispersal
of Society funds. The struggle led to a private audience before
Pius XII, who sided with Sheen. In a rage, Spellman terminated
Sheen's television series, made him a local outcast, and drove
him from the Archdiocese. In 1966, Sheen became the Bishop of
Rochester.
- Bishop Sheen had been an active participant in the Vatican
II sessions in Rome and thoroughly endorsed the reforms that
followed. He tried to make his diocese the bridge between the
old and new Catholicism, enacting sweeping reforms and making
headlines in the process. Without administrative skills, Sheen
alienated many in Rochester, and in 1969 he resigned and returned
to New York. During the last decade of his life, while battling
serious heart disease, Sheen continued at a breathtaking pace
to travel, speak, and write. During the course of his more than
50 year career in the Church, he wrote 66 books and countless
articles. No other Catholic figure of the century could match
his literary productivity. (Book royalties and television fees
went almost exclusively to the Society. Sheen estimated that
he gave $10 million of his own money to the organization he headed.)

Sheen was a Catholic traditionalist who upheld Rome's dogmas.
He was a staunch enemy of the New Testament faith. Yet,
Graham called Sheen's death:
- "a great loss to the nation and both the Catholic and
Protestant churches. He broke down walls of prejudice between
Catholics and Protestants. ... I mourn his death and look forward
to our reunion in heaven" (12/22/79 ,EP

- But Sheen's hope was in Mary, not in Christ's completed
atonement. Unless he repented and turned wholly to Christ on
his deathbed, there is no reason to believe Sheen will be in
heaven (David Cloud, Flirting With Rome, Vol. I: Billy Graham,
p. 31). [Of course, why not Fulton Sheen in heaven if Elvis is
going to be there? -- In an article in the 4/16/92 issue of USA
Today, Graham stated that he "expects to spend eternity
with God, the great, and the good -- including Elvis Presley."]
- Graham once said: "It is my opinion that we ought not
to contrast the 'nurture of grace' and the 'grace of conversion'
as many have tried to do. I am convinced that there are both,
and happy is the man who by the nurture of grace is brought to
the grace of conversion." Anyone familiar with Roman Catholicism
knows that their "nurture of grace" refers to the grace
of the seven sacraments. Thus, Graham has both learned and accepted

- The wealth of Trinity Broadcasting Network has raised eyebrows
and added to criticism about its operation. The most recently
available IRS form shows TBN took in more than $184.3 million
in 2003. After expenses, that left $71.1 million unspent, on
top of at least $311.6 million invested in securities. Paul F.
Crouch Sr.’s pay was $408,562 as president and his wife
Jan $361,000 as a vice president. Wall Watchers, a Christian
nonprofit group that monitors Christian organizations, says TBN
is “hoarding too much cash” and is not open about its
finances. TBN has many different companies and doesn’t make
a “consolidated audit report” available, said Rodney
Pitzer, managing director for the group headquartered near Tampa,
Fla. “They’re only trying to do the minimum of whatever
is legal and that’s it,” he said. “What’s
unknown is how many other salaries do the Crouches get?”
TBN attorney John Casoria said thorough audits are done twice
a year and the salaries in the IRS form are the only ones the
Crouches have.
- Why TNB is also referred to as "The Blasphemy Network"
An independent board picked by IRS accountants set the salaries,
which came only in their senior years after decades of work for
much less, he said. Paul Crouch is 72 and Jan is about 68, he
said. The couple, dedicated to God, has earned what they get
through hard work, he said.
- “They’ve taken a single station and in 33 years
turned it into the seventh largest broadcasting entity on the
planet.”
- Casoria said the Wall Watchers attack TBN because they are
“anti-pentecostal” and have their own rules they want
everyone to follow. One of those, he said, is to be on the brink
of poverty. “We do not believe that hand-to-mouth is the
way God expects ministries to run,” he said. “We have
substantial overhead. Our electrical bills alone are in the millions
of dollars.”

History believed in God and were also Masons.
- To name a few: REV. WILLIAM BOOTH, was a Mason and the
founder of the Salvation Army, who during the course of his
ministry traveled 5,000,000 miles, preached 60,000 sermons (many
while being attacked, spit on, and so forth for spreading the
Gospel of Christ).
- FRANCIS SCOTT KEY, was a Mason and the author of our anthem
in which he wrote in verse 2: "Blest with vict'ry and peace,
may the heav'n rescued land praise the Power that hath made and
preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it
is just; And this be our motto: "In God is our trust!"
- BISHOP RICHARD ALLEN, a former slave and active abolitionist,
was also a Mason, founder and first Bishop of the African Methodist
Episcopal Church in Philadelphia.
- GEORGE WASHINGTON, took the oath of office as our nation's
1st President by placing his hand on a Bible provided by the
Masonic Lodge to which he was a member. One of his first official

Student Ministries/Next Gen Leadership Conference (February 27th).
The notice encouraged leaders to attend and told them where they
could register. Today, we contacted Kevin White and asked about
the notice.
He told us Willow Creek (promoters of Spiritual Formation/contemplative)
had contacted them and offered them a room or booth. White said
he had sent out the notice, and Awana would be there at the conference.
- Our concern is that this organization may be seduced into
a spirituality that negates the very gospel message that Awana
Clubs has tried to promote. Worthwhile to note, on the Awana
website, they are featuring
a book by George Barna titled, Transforming Children into Spiritual
Champions. On the front cover is an endorsement by Willow
Creek, Bill Hybels. And the Awana
High School program's 24/7 Ministries lists several recommended
resources which they say "have similar ministry interests
to 24/7." These ministries include Youth
Specialties and Group Magazine (both emergent and contemplative)
as well as Church
Growth Institute, NavPress
and Youth
for Christ (which promotes the the Labyrinth).
If your children are part of an Awana Club, or if you know

share your concerns with them about attending a conference
that promotes the New Age and mysticism and also about their

- Students say church arsons meant as ‘a joke’
Third suspect arrested in torchings of nine Alabama places of
worship - NBC News and news services March 8, 2006 - BIRMINGHAM,
Ala. - Three college students, including two aspiring actors
known around campus as pranksters, were arrested Wednesday in
a string of nine church fires across Alabama. Federal agents
said the defendants claimed the first few fires were set as “a
joke” and the others were started to throw investigators
off the track. Gov. Bob Riley said the church arsons did not
appear to be “any type of conspiracy against organized religion”
or the Baptist faith. With the arrests, he said, “the faith-based
community can rest a little easier.”
- Benjamin Nathan Moseley and Russell Lee Debusk Jr., both
19-year-old students at Birmingham-Southern College, appeared
in federal court and were ordered held on church arson charges
pending a hearing Friday. Matthew Lee Cloyd, 20-year-old junior
at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, was also arrested.
Nine churches torched
The fires broke out at five Baptist churches in Bibb County south
of Birmingham on Feb. 3 and four Baptist churches in west Alabama
on Feb. 7. The federal Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
agency had made the arsons its top priority, with scores of federal
agents joining state and local officers.
- “While all three are entitled to have their day in court,
we are very hopeful that this is the end to the fear that has
been rampant in West Alabama,” said Rep. Artur Davis, D-Ala.
An affidavit said Moseley told agents on Wednesday that he, Cloyd
and Debusk went to Bibb County in Cloyd’s Toyota sport utility
vehicle and set fire to five churches. A witness quoted Cloyd
as saying Moseley did it “as a joke and it got out of hand,”
according to the affidavit.
- Moseley also told agents the four church fires in west Alabama
were set “as a diversion to throw investigators off,”
an attempt that “obviously did not work,” the affidavit
said. The first two suspects were arrested Tuesday night, NBC’s
Pete Williams reported. WVTM-TV, citing the state fire marshal’s
office, said the two are students at Birmingham Southern College
and were arrested at a college dorm. Authorities analyzed tire
tracks and traced the purchase of the tires to Cloyd. Investigators
found tracks at one fire from a BF Goodrich all-terrain tire,
according to NBC’s Williams. Provided with a description
of a Toyota Forerunner SUV from witnesses at a few of the fires,
federal agents checked tire dealers for records of purchases
for tires on that kind of vehicle, and came up with Cloyd’s
mother. The pastor at one of the destroyed churches said he was
told of the arrests by investigators.
- “We are relieved. We were fearful while they were on
the loose because we did not know their agenda,” said Jim
Parker, pastor of the Ashby Baptist Church in Brierfield, which
was burned to the ground.
- Ten Baptist churches in rural parts of the state were burned
by arsonists last month. Nine of the fires — five on Feb.
3 in Bibb County and four on Feb. 7 in west Alabama — have
been linked. Another church fire on Feb. 11 in Lamar County has
been ruled arson, but investigators have not determined if it
is connected to the others.
- No racial pattern There was no racial pattern — five
of the churches had white congregations and five black. All were
Baptist, the dominant faith in the region, and mostly in isolated
country settings. A federal source said the apparent motive was
that the three students just liked to set and watch fires. Five
of the churches were destroyed and four were damaged, including
one in which congregants, alerted during the night that churches
were afire, arrived just as the apparent arsonists were leaving.
That fire, quickly put out, had been set in the sanctuary near
the altar — a pattern in the other church arsons in Bibb

company called CityWatcher has embedded radio transmitter ID
chips into two of its employees. It is believed to be the first
time U.S. workers have been electronically tagged for identification
purposes. Privacy activist Liz McIntyre said “There are
very serious privacy and civil liberty issues of having people
permanently numbered.” The company has planted the electronic
chip into the upper right arms of two employees. The implants
ensure that only those two employees have access to a room where
the company holds security video footage for government agencies
and the police. The "radio frequency identification tags”
are made by the U.S. company VeriChip. The technology allows
a company or government to permanently track anyone embedded

embedded into workers to help test the tagging technology
at a US surveillance equipment company. The radio frequency identification
chips - RFIDS - were implanted in two volunteers to monitor their
use in regulating access to secure areas, company officials said.
- Implanting them in the workers at CityWatcher.com is believed
to be the first use of the technology in living humans in the
US. The chief executive of the company, Sean Darks, also had
one of the embedded chips used to access secure vaults. "I
have one," he said on Monday. "I'm not going to ask
somebody to do something I wouldn't do myself. None of my employees

to have implanted such technology in its employees for security
purposes. About 70 people in America have the chip, known as

DAMASCUS (Reuters) - February 13, 2006 - Syria has switched all
of the state's foreign currency transactions to euros from dollars
amid a political confrontation with the United States, the head
of state-owned Commercial Bank of Syria said on Monday. "This
is a precaution. We are talking about billions of dollars,"
Duraid Durgham told Reuters.
- The bank, which still dominates the Syrian market although
private banks have been allowed to set up in the last few years,
has also stopped dealing with dollars in the international foreign
exchange flows of private clients.
- The United States has been at the forefront of international
pressure on Syria for its alleged role in the assassination of
former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri a year ago. Damascus
denies involvement in the killing.
- "It looks like a kind of pre-emptive action aimed at
making their foreign assets safer, preventing them from getting
frozen in case of any conflict," said a Middle East economist

MosNews -February 14, 2006 - U.S. will launch a missile attack
against Iran this summer, says Russian political expert Mikhail
Delyagin. “Lately the demand of U.S. military actions against

- SOLANA DOES NOT RULE OUT FUTURE HAMAS TALKS

Küchler The EU's foreign policy chief Javier Solana has
said that the EU will not decide what its relationship will be
with the Palestinian Authority until a new Palestinian government
takes office.
- After visiting Jerusalem and the West Bank town of Ramallah
on Thursday (16 February), Mr Solana said he did not rule out
future negotiations with a Hamas government. "Until we know
the composition of the government, we will not invite anybody
from Hamas," to Europe, Solana said according to Reuters.
- "We may have to think how to deal with the new government
but it has to be decided at that moment," he added.
- Solana however raised a finger of warning towards Hamas,
saying "We cannot accept that they use arms and at the same
time hold seats in the parliament. Democracy is not only to participate
in the elections."
- He also repeated EU demands that the Palestinian Authority
recognise the state of Israel, writes El Pais.
- EU foreign ministers earlier said they want to continue aid
to the Palestinian Authority until a new government formation
- although under strict conditions - fearing that a complete
cut-off of funding will create room for Iran and Saudi Arabia
to step in. Ministers defended their stance saying a situation
of chaos in the region should be avoided in order not to create
a "mini-Iran", referring to existing ties between Iran
and Hamas. Israel also said on Thursday according to Reuters
it would not stand in the way of humanitarian assistance to the
Palestinians.
- It had earlier urged donor countries such as the EU, which
is the largest donor, to stop providing support to the Palestinian
Authority from this weekend, when a new parliament with a Hamas
majority is sworn in.
- Russian-Hamas talk could be "useful" Solana also
told both Turkey and Russia that if they encouraged Hamas to
adopt the stance of the Middle East peace quartet, then talks
between them and Hamas "may be helpful."

sprawling plant is grinding massive amounts of corn and turning
it into ethanol — an alcohol-based gasoline additive that
was recently touted by President Bush as a way to reduce dependence
on Middle Eastern oil, though some experts doubt its value. Mixing
ethanol into gasoline displaces some oil consumption and boosts
octane levels to improve vehicle performance. The recently expanded
VeraSun Energy Corp. facility here — in a tiny town an hour
north of Sioux Falls on the flat, windswept Upper Plains —
has become one of the country's largest ethanol production operations,
running around the clock and churning out 120 million gallons
per year. But it still cannot keep up with increasing demand
from oil companies that mix the additive with gasoline.

- The new President is cognizant that the nation may be on
the verge of another revolution and may be baiting the US in
the very hopes that the US will strike it with bombings. This
will immediately and certainly unify the nation, as he knows.
Bringing in some kind of unity seems to be one of the most important
tasks of this new President will undertake. He has used all kinds
of anti-semitic statements and threats against Israel to garner
support internally. He does not appear unwilling to risk a few
bombs to bring it about. The key here is to understand that Iran
itself is in a domestic crisis and the crisis is not about building
nuclear weapons, it is about Iran imploding. A real question
here is if Iran implodes will she look east to Russia and China,
or west towards Washington and Brussels? Clearly her interests
are in in the East which makes the situation doubly troublesome
for Washington and Britain. The history of Iran and the exploitation
of it by both the US and the UK has been written about at length....
It has not escaped my attention that new alliances are being
formed and they seemed deliberately constructed to offset and
counterbalance US hegemony. Mr. Noam Chomsky wrote on this in
a recent article in CounterPunch.
Chomsky goes on to show that certain nations are moving in on
oil rich nations such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran. If Russia
and China are willing to give Tehran diplomatic cover and even
quiet military support in the coming months the balance of power
globally may shift. China has a strong motivation for wanting
closer ties with Iran. It needs oil and its needs grow with each
passing year. Russia has its own designs most notably to get
the US out of the strategic Middle East and out of its back yard.

Hugo Chavez warned late Friday he was taking potential steps
to cut off oil shipments to the United States, in the event Washington

- “The US government must know that if it crosses the
line it won’t be getting Venezuelan oil,” the leftist
leader said, repeating similar threats he has made in his long,
simmering dispute with the United States.
- Chavez, who did not clarify how Washington might incur such
a sanction, apparently was reacting to Thursday’s call by
US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice for an international “united
front” against Venezuela.
- “I have to say that I’ve begun taking steps on
the matter, but I won’t tell you what they are,” Chavez
told a meeting of pensioners in Caracas. “They think I can’t
take these steps, because we won’t know where to place our
oil. Aha! That’s where they are wrong,” Chavez said.
- “Many countries ask us for more oil and we’ve had
to answer that we can’t give them any more because, among
other things, (of) the million and a half barrels of our production
that goes to the United States.”
- Rice called Chavez a “challenge to democracy” on
Thursday and said Venezuela’s close ties with Cuba were
“a particular danger in the region.” She told the US
Congress she had recently spoken of the Venezuelan problem on
the telephone with the foreign ministers of Austria, Spain and
Brazil. “The international community has just got to be
much more active in supporting and defending the Venezuelan people,”
Rice said. Chavez has called Rice’s remarks a “threat,”
and accused US president George W Bush and British prime minister
Tony Blair of launching a plan against Venezuela aimed at keeping
him from being reelected in coming December elections. “The
plan has been launched. They are trying to get Spain, France,
Germany and all of Europe against us,” Chavez said.

February 24th, 2006 - Every morning, from dawn till about noon,
cargo and passenger flights to Iraq and Afghanistan make Dubai
airport’s Terminal Two possibly the busiest commercial terminal
in the world for the "global war of terrorism." Conveniently
located between the two countries, Dubai is the ideal hub for
military contractors and a lucrative link in the commercial supply
chain of goods and people between Afghanistan or Iraq and the
rest of the world.
- The trade from this relatively small air terminal is completely
legal but some of the flight operators have been known to flout
the law in order to keep the profitable business going. Tickets
to either destination go for about $400 a seat round-trip, cargo
travels for about $2 a kilogram.
- The European and American travelers arriving at the much
larger Terminal One never see this part of the world's second
busiest sea/air hub. They are whisked away by banks of gleaming
silver escalators to duty-free shopping, sunbathing at the seven
star resorts and the famous gold markets.
- But at Terminal Two, the most common destinations on the
overhead list are Baghdad and Kabul, via airlines like African
Express, Al Ishtar, and Jupiter. Most of the passengers on these
flights are Afghan or Iraqi, but every morning a few Americans,
Indians and Philippinos arrive, often accompanied by minders
to make sure that they catch their flights. Some are from the
United States embassy or military, others from Halliburton subsidiary,

How do you go on stoking xenophobic hysteria against the Arabs
when the Golden Boy in the White House has turned over management
of American ports to an emir who once backed the Taliban? OK,
so now he's a good guy, responding to [President] Bush Sr.'s
charity pitch by throwing $100 million to Katrina victims, and
before that another million into the Bush presidential library.
But how do you sell that to a Fox television audience brainwashed
to believe that Saddam Hussein is indistinguishable from Osama
bin Laden because they both speak Arabic?
- Oh, to be Lou Dobbs over at CNN, who never liked anyone connected
with the Mideast, including the president, and who now sends
reporters out in the dark of night to track mysterious cargo.
Some [people] have all the fun - particularly those traitors
who don't realize there is a war on and that it's our patriotic
duty to support the president, even if he's endangering the country.
- Now, maybe this port deal is not really that big a threat
to U.S. security, but then neither was Saddam Hussein. That didn't
stop Bush from [war with] Iraq and turning it into a showcase
for religious fratricide. So he makes mistakes, but he's our
president and we are in a WAR, a War on Terror. Terror, terror,
TERROR, all the time.
- But now, we're getting mixed messages. First, the president
told us that in a war on terror you trust your own government
to provide Homeland Security. You put your faith in the stern,
electronic wand-waving Americans in white shirts and TSA epaulettes
who check your shoes at the airport; those upstanding Americans
who report to other upstanding Americans, like Michael Chertoff,
and people he trusts. Now they tell us it's OK to have some Arab
as the guy in charge of checking our shoes - excuse me, ports?
- Yeah, I know, to be the least bit queasy about turning over
our ports to guys who supported the Taliban when that bunch of
religious maniacs were harboring bin Laden is, as the Bush apologists
tell us, just xenophobic. Dubai was not alone; Saudi Arabia and
Pakistan did the same, and they are now trusted allies. These
are crazy times, and there are some unnerving oddities in Bush's
foreign policy, but don't worry: As soon as Hussein is tried
and hanged, democracy will flower in the Arab world and the war
on terrorism will be over. In the meantime, we have to put up
with some contradictions, like trusting Arabs to own port-management
companies, even as we scapegoat them everywhere else.
- And even if you are a teensy-weensy nervous about it, remember
that the Bush [administration] have made it clear that the management
companies don't have anything to do with port security, because
that's safely in the hands of U.S. Customs and the U.S. Coast
Guard. Ooops, well, not according to the Coast Guard.
- Just when things looked like they were quieting down, Republican
Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, chair of the Senate Homeland Security
Committee, had to go and mess it up for the president by releasing
details of a very embarrassing Coast Guard warning that the White
House had ignored. "There are many intelligence gaps, concerning
the potential for [Dubai Ports World] … assets to support
terrorist operations, that preclude an overall threat assessment
of the potential merger," stated the Coast Guard document.
- No biggie. I get it, when it comes to national security,
who are you going to trust, the president of the United States,
our commander in chief or those sailor boys in the Coast Guard
who are already backing off? But this is a very unpopular lame
duck president, and some Republican legislators are getting nervous.
For example Collins, who broke ranks to warn, "This report
suggests there were significant and troubling intelligence gaps
… That language is very troubling to me." Hey, no problem,
reassures fellow Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona. It could
be worse - the port managers could be Chinese communists! The
Chinese are even less free than the people of Dubai, he insists,
so we've dodged a bullet there. Some spoilsports might point
out that Beijing never recognized the Taliban and hardly coddles
religious fanatics. But that would ruin this wonderful farce,

should be respected "at all costs and that media should

Feb. 17). Thus, according to Bill Clinton, freedom of the press
should not extend to religion. This amazing statement directly
undermines the United States Constitution. The "freedom"
to speak on any subject other than religion and to speak only
if one's speech does not offend is no kind of true freedom. Clinton
should move to communist China. Why doesn't the mainstream press
ask Senator Hillary if she agrees with her husband?

- DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY LOOKING TO DEVELOP SUPER-RFID
TAGS?

alarmist new book on RFID tagging has recently hit store shelves
(you can pretty much guess the authors' position on tagging from
the title of the book- "Spychips") which claims to
have uncovered a "plot" by the Department of Homeland
security to invent a more precise flavor of chip for remote tracking
of individuals. Privacy advocates and Spychips authors Katherine
Albrecht and Liz McIntyre say they have discovered a Request
for Information issued by the DHS calling for "significant
improvements in performance" over the current tech with
respect to "superior remote data capture." Specifically,
the document supposedly calls for a solution that can identify
individual people sitting among others in a car or bus, without
any special action on the part of the surveyed, at distances
up to 25-feet. Instead of jumping through all these hoops to
come up with an invasive yet implausible technology (lead passport
wallets, anyone?), it would seem a lot easier for the government
to just pass a law confining us all to our homes, turning the
whole "tracking" thing into a non-issue.

- UPPER PART OF SODA CAN BECAME FATAL
This incident happened recently in North Texas. A woman went
boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she
put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken
to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died
on Wednesday. The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis.
This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using
a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat
urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis.
Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly
recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before
drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses
and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned.
A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated
than public toilets (i.e).. full of germs and bacteria. So wash
them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any
