this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years.
We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking
out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth:
out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at the time we
were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years.

The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
and today's church doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word
of God has undergone many changes to fit the progressive modes.
Many new Bible tranlations have brought confusion. The Bible
calls for a falling away from the truth before
Jesus comes back for His Bride. The true believers are called
'Ekklesia.' Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the
Bible is true from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, the so called democratizing what is left of the world.
This is a deception since the underlying new world global government
is developed by implementing sustainable development. The
Bible prophesies that there will be ten kings (ten horns), each
king (horn) will receive a region of the world as a reward for
work well done for the Antichrist. This is the reason for the
present development of NAU (The North American Union) as well
as the war in the Middle East. It again proves that we are moving
to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied in the Bible.
The end result will not be Democracy but a form of Fascist Communism
(Public/Private Corporations enslaving mankind).
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings because Israel is the time piece of the Biblical Prophecy.
1948 was the beginning of the figtree representing Israel, coming
back to life. Israel was allowed to return to its land. Israel
is the rock upon which the world stumbles and crumbles. We watch
and visit Israel for signs which point to the Tribulation to
confirm that we are moving into that space of time.

- JARS OF CLAY .... The emotion
of despair can paralyze and debilitate even the strongest of
souls. Pressures from every side can be perplexing; persecution
can make us feel as though we've been struck down. When life
is filled with despair, we must not give up. Instead we can turn
to God, our loving Father, and His powerful Word to regain focus.
In 2 Corinthians 4:7 we read about a treasure, but the treasure
is kept in a jar of clay. That seems like an odd place for a
treasure. Usually we would keep our valuable treasures in a vault,
in a safety deposit box, or in a strong, protected place. A jar
of clay is fragile, and easily broken. Upon further inspection,
this jar of clay reveals flaws, chips, and cracks. It's not a
vessel of great worth or monetary value, but rather a common,
ordinary vessel.
We are that earthen vessel, that fragile clay pot! Our bodies,
our outward appearance, our essential humanity, our physical
disabilities, our shattered dreams, these are all elements of
our jar of clay. None of these things can bring meaning or a
sense of value to our lives. If we focus on our human side, despair
is bound to set in. But the wonderful secret to overcoming despair
is also revealed in these verses in 2 Corinthians, chapter 4.
Kept inside that broken, fragile, ordinary jar of clay is a treasure,
a priceless treasure of immeasurable worth! 2 Corinthians 4:7-12;
16-18 (NIV)
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing
power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every
side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted,
but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always
carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life
of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive
are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that
his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is
at work in us, but life is at work in you.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting
away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light
and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory
that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but
what is unseen is eternal.
Let God's truth refocus your eyes today on the treasure that
dwells within you. This treasure can fill the emptiest of vessels;
after all, a jar is designed to hold something! That treasure
is God himself, living within us, bringing his abundant life.
In our own humanity we have no sense of wealth or worth, no value
in this jar of clay. We are simply an empty jar. But when this
humanity is filled with diety, we receive what we were created
to hold, the very life of od. He is our treasure!
When we look only at the frail clay pot, despair is the natural
result, but when we look at the glorious treasure we hold, we
are inwardly renewed day by day. And those frailties and cracks
in our clay pot? They are not to be despised, for they now serve
a purpose! They allow the life of God, our cherished treasure,
to seep out for all those around us to see.

- RAPTURE READY SAINTS
- Salty Saints are not only a blessing to their realm of living
influence, but they are the “jewels” of the Lord Himself.
Even as I write, the Bridegroom is carefully reaching into our
world by His Holy Spirit to prepare a Bride for Himself. There
are two massive movements of religion; one is preparing a bride
for the Antichrist and his reign of terror. The other is the
espoused Bride of the King of Kings and is being prepared for
His eminent appearance in the midair.
- Malachi caught a vision by prophetic revelation of this chosen
Bride in his prophecy. He wrote by pure inspiration, “Then
they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the
LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written
before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon
his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in
that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as
a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return,
and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him
that serveth God and him that serveth him not” (Malachi
3:16-18). This prophecy is one of the First Covenant’s grandest
pictures of the future Bride of Jesus Christ. The Father and
the Son wait with great patience for this Bride to be complete.
The eternal quarters (New Jerusalem) of the bridal chamber are
complete and were seen by John the Revelator.
- The “jewels” as The Holy Spirit calls them are
recorded in this “Book of Remembrance” as described
by Malachi. The office of the Holy Spirit is to complete the
work of redemption and the Bride will be complete when we are
resurrected and raptured to this celebration of the Marriage
Supper. Other great aspects of redemption will continue. Notice
that the Scripture, as stated above, says, “…and I
will spare them as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”
That’s the Rapture before the Tribulation. To add to its
perfection, the prophecy of Malachi further says, “Then
shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked,
between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not”
(Malachi 3:18). That’s the great Millennium that the Scripture
speaks of so clearly.
- How can we identify this company among the religious multitudes?
This company is clearly a remnant as the Lord taught us. The
multitude loves religion and fire insurance, but this company
loves the cross and the resurrection of the Lord. Nothing so
identifies the espoused Bride of the Lord as their abandonment
to the sanctifying blood and His cross of redemption. Apostle
Paul said, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in
the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified
unto me, and I unto the world” (Galatians 6:14). He desired
to know nothing among them but the message of the cross, he said,
“For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus
Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and
in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching
was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration
of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand
in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God” (1 Corinthians
2:2-5).
- One other identifying truth will enable us to spot the rapture-ready
saint. The New Testament church proclaimed, “So Christ was
once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look
for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation”
(Hebrews 9:28). The rapture-ready saints are not only “cross-centered,”
but they are anxiously and constantly watching and waiting for
their Lord to appear. We are taught – even warned over and
over in the New Covenant – to watch. Seventeen times in
the New Testament from the Gospels to Revelation we are commanded
to watch. “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day
nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 25:13).
“So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass,
know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand” (Luke 21:36).
“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch
and be sober” (1 Thessalonians 5:6).
- Ask most professing Christians if they are watching for the
Rapture and they will either ask what you are talking about or
respond with, “I am not interested in a Rapture.” There
is tremendous resistance to this truth because the people have
been misled by the apostasy of our age. Anyone that is not overwhelmingly
in love with the Lord of our salvation – clinging only to
His cross of redemption and watching for Him – is missing
something.
- Some of the very last words of Jesus Christ before He was
crucified, resurrected, and ascended were, “Let not your
heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In
my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive
you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”
(John 14:1-3). It is absolutely clear He is only coming for the
rapture-ready saints that are looking for Him. Remember, “…
and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time

- THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT
IS SPIRIT
It is impossible to be a Christian without the mighty working
of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ made it plain, “Except
a man be born of water and of the Spirit . . .” The church
world is full of people that are religious but they have never
been Born Again. If you join a church without the Born Again
experience by the Spirit, you might as well join the local Kiwanis
Club or some other club or fellowship. The Book of Romans is
called the Roman’s Road. It is believed to be the true path
of salvation and it is. Read these two verses carefully, “But
ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit
of Christ, he is none of his” “For as many as are led
by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans
8:9,14). When a person is Born Again, they are a new creature.
The Spirit of God reaches in you affecting you from head to toe.
Unclean habits disappear and bad language will be gone. The power
of God – by the blood – makes you a new person. “Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians

- THE PAPAL THRONE TO SHIFT FROM ROME TO JERUSALEM
What dose Islam and the Papal religion have in common? More than
you probably are aware of.
The present Pope sits in the Papal throne in Rome. They both
see the Holy Land as occupied by Zionists. Non of them have Jerusalem
as the present center of their religion. And they both need to
shift their throne of authority to Jerusalem to overcome the
Jews.
Islam lack a throne. Muslims basically bows down to worship in
front of an empty throne. The Pope has a throne. And the Catholics
visiting the Vatican either bow down to kiss the ring of the
Fisherman, or fall down on their face and worship him. Islam
has no central leader who can reunite them. Since that Pope already
has accepted that Islam is a part of God`s plan to save mankind,
Islam will be able to accept the Pope, as the Prince of Peace.
Shiite and Sunni Muslims will for the first time stand united
and gathered in front of the new universal Papal throne in the
Dome of The Rock in Jerusalem.But the Papal throne must face
southwards inside the Dome of the Rock. Towards Mecca. Otherwise,

- POPE TO MEET SPANISH KING JUAN CARLOS NOVEMBER 7, 2010

City - Pope Benedict XVI will meet the Spanish king in November
on a trip to Barcelona, where he will also consecrate the city's
long-unfinished Sagrada Familia cathedral, the Vatican said on
Friday...The pope's trip had originally been announced in March
when Spain was in the midst of a major row over abortion. A new
law allowing women to end their pregnancies up until 14 weeks
was approved by the Spanish parliament on February 24.
Bishops strongly opposed the legislation and demanded its "abolition
as soon as possible".
The law took effect on July 5. A few weeks later a top Vatican
prelate attacked Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero
over the new legislation..

- THE TIARA
 October 19, 2010 - Last Sunday a new banner
was lowered from the window of the papal Apostolic Palace on
which was depicted a coat of arms in which the miter above the
shield was replaced by the tiara. The tiara is not a liturgical
headdress, but rather a sign of sovereign power the Pope exercises
in his dual capacity as supreme head of the Church and sovereign
of the Papal States. The need to symbolize the unity of these
two powers certainly influenced the evolution of the tiara. It
is possible that the importance of the temporal power was the
first motive of creating a crown so majestic, but today the specific
symbolism of the tiara is the supreme position of the Pope over
the universal Church, and this would remain intact even if the

POPE JOHN PAULL II'S RELATIONSHIP WITH MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS
EXAMINED

Jozef Wojtyla was born in 1920 and elected pope in October 16,
1978. It was then that he took the name John Paul II and reigned
as pope for 27 years. He wrote various books, but the one focused
upon here is on the fabricated Mary of Catholicism. Certainly,
one sure way to know the official teachings of Roman Catholicism
on Mary, besides going to Vatican Council II and The Catechism
of the Catholic Church, is to go to the pope himself. Such can
be easily done by examining the book entitled, Theotokos.
This book is comprised of seventy general audience talks on the
Catholic Mary which were delivered by the Pope himself from September
1995 to November 1997 (p. 11). Hence, these are up to date and
given by their supreme teaching authority. While Catholicism
claims the pope speaks infallibly only at times, it still declares
him (even when he isn’t speaking infallibly) to be the supreme
pastor and teacher of the faithful, as we would anticipate. The
following papal quotes will be accepted, without question, by
many trusting Catholics. To them this is the absolute truth about
Mary from God’s leader on the Earth. The problem is they

- PONTIFF WANTS FAMILIES TO START PREPARING FOR 2012 EVENT
Recommends Initiatives Based on "Familiaris Consortio"
- VATICAN CITY, SEPT. 26, 2010 (Zenit.org).- The next World Meeting
of Families is not till 2012, but Benedict XVI is asking families
and parishes to begin preparations a year in advance, availing
of Pope John Paul II's apostolic exhortation “Familiaris
Consortio.
The German Pontiff made this request in an Aug. 23 letter to
the president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Cardinal

relation of families with society and with the Church,"
the Pontiff noted. "Holy Scripture tells us that the family,
work and the feast day are gifts and blessings of God to help
us to live a fully human existence. Daily experience attests
that the authentic development of the person includes the individual,
familial, and communal dimension, activities and functional relationships,
as well as openness to hope and to the Good without limits."
In this light, Benedict XVI lamented the modern organization
of work, "in function of market competition and maximizing
profit," and the concept of rest or celebration as an "occasion
for escape and consumption."
He said both these factors "contribute to the break-up of
the family and the community and to the spreading of an individualistic

- INTEGRATION OF MUSLIMS IN WESTERN SOCIETIES?
(exracts from interview with Nicolai Sennels ) It is good to
keep ones own identity and traditions while maintaining respect
of others. Islam has no such tradition! Danish integration problems
with Muslims became public worldwide in 2006 when the newspaper,
Jyllands-Posten, published 12 cartoons of the prophet Mohammed.
Currently 70 percent of inmates in Copenhagen's youth prison
consists of young men of Muslim heritage& According to the
Danish police and the Danish Bureau of Statistics over 70 percent
of all crimes in the Danish capital are committed by Muslims.
According to the (politicly correct) Copenhagen authorities it
is apparently permitted to state that the serious problems among
Muslims are caused by poverty, the media, the police, the Danes,
politicians, etc. But two things are definitely not allowed:
1) discussing the significance of culture and 2) our foreigners
own responsibility for their integration in our societies. Unfortunately
many very powerful politicians lack a clear understanding of
the psychological aspect of culture and the influence it has
on integration. Danish psychologist Nicolai Sennels does not
believe that integration of Muslims in Western societies is possible.
Germany - only 12 percent of 3.5 million Muslims see themselves
as more German than Muslim.
France and Denmark - only 14 percent of the Muslim populations
respectively see themselves more French or Danish than Muslim.
Denmark - 50 percent of the 1st- and 2nd-generation immigrants
are against free speech and 11 percent of them would like to
see the Danish constitution exchanged with the Sharia law. People
hope that most Muslims are modern and accept Western values.
The experience is different and this has been proven by the statistics
in Europe and some deadly serious riots Europe saw a couple of
years ago. In these riots, we saw Muslims (who do not practice
the Islamic religion in their daily lives) standing up for their
culture and religion in a very aggressive way. Unfortunately
many politicians see poverty as the main cause of integration
problems. I think this is a horrible and one-dimensional view
of poor people and of people in general. The idea that people's
behaviour is decided by the amount of money they have in their
bank accounts every month is an exceedingly limited view.
Those who say that integration is possible, carry a very great
responsibility. There is a very great risk that they are selling
us hope, a dream that has no foundation in reality... On the
contrary, research that we have on integration of Muslims in
Western societies shows that we are continuing to head in the
wrong direction.

trinity. There is no likeness between them.
4. The heaven in the Islamic religion is more like hell than
heaven. It is no holy place that’s for sure. A man that
died for Allah gets 72 virgins to spend eternity with. No man
with his right mind wants 72 concubines to satisfy forever. How
about the women that must spend eternity sharing the same man
with 71 other women. It will be a hair pulling time. This is
just a small picture of the difference in the truth versus the
Koran’s error.
I’m disgusted with ministers in the church, Priests in Catholic
circles and Rabbis in the Jewish faith trying to teach the world

of men, who took captive all the powers of evil. And this worship
spread and increased in Egypt and elsewhere until the growing
power of Christianity compelled a change. The old worship continued;
for the Syrian maid became transformed into an entirely different
figure, Queen of Heaven, Mother of God, patroness of sailors,
occupying the position and attributes already belonging to the
world-wide goddess; and the Divine Teacher, the Man of Sorrows,
became transformed into the entirely different figure of the

A recent poll found that 10% of Germans long for a fuhrer who
will "govern with a hard hand for the good of Germany."
These believe that a dictatorship is a "better form of government"

longed for a "strong party" that "embodies German
society." Much of this sentiment is caused by the rapid
growth of Islam and its toll on traditional German society and
the nation's welfare system. Nearly 60% said the "religious
practice for Muslims in Germany should be seriously limited."
Those who long for a führer just might have one soon. The

The European court, which has played the part of God to packed
houses in continental political theaters for decades, is now
trying to assert the same role in Russia, demanding that this
sovereign nation yield its sense of moral rectitude to the decadent
West’s political correctness ' and specifically, demanding
that Russia allow 'gay' parades and even pay a fine for past
infractions of 'human rights' in refusing to allow such parades.
Meanwhile Russia has always maintained that homosexuality spreads
disease, is unnatural and offends the morals of Russians. While
the sheeplike European nations have invariably fallen into line
behind the unelected officials of the EU, I somehow can’t
see Russia bowing to this pressure from the Western know-it-alls.
If they do, these snotty elites will have achieved what Napoleon,
and later Hitler, were unable to do when they sent their armies

AREN’T MULTITUDES OF YOUNG PEOPLE BEING CONVERTED?
Promoters of Christian rock music claim that the bottom line
is that God is blessing it and that many young people are saved
through it. Hard rocking Mylon LeFevre claimed that tens of thousands
signed decisions cards at his concerts: 'There are 52,000 people
who have signed a little card that says, ‘Tonight, for the
first time, I understand who Jesus is and how He does things,
and I want Him to be my Lord’' (LeFevre, cited by John Styll,
'Mylon LeFevre: The Solid Rocker,' CCM Magazine, March 1986).
This is an amazing statistic by any standard, especially in light
of the fact that LeFevre admitted that he did not get right with
God until 1980 and the aforementioned statement was made in 1986.
Many other CCM performers claim that people are being saved through
their ministries. The 12th Rock of Ages Festival in Napa County,
California, in October 2010, reported 250 saved.
The book Soul 2 Soul contains salvation testimonies from CCM
groups such as 4 HIM and dc Talk. They say that people have even
been rescued from committing suicide through their music.
I am thankful for every soul that is saved regardless of whether
or not we agree in all matters with those involved in the conversion.
I do believe that some CCM groups are genuinely concerned for
the salvation of young people through their music and concerts,
and I do believe that some young people are being saved in the
context of Contemporary Christian Music.
Even if people are being saved through a ministry, though, it
does not follow that it is to be commended in its entirety. Many
have been saved through Billy Graham’s ministry, including
my own wife and mother-in-law, but this does not mean we should
overlook the dangerous and unscriptural methodology of his ecumenical
evangelism, of how he has turned tens of thousands of his converts
over to Roman Catholic and liberal Protestant churches. Jehoshaphat
was a godly king who did many things to glorify God in his life
and ministry, but the prophet was instructed to rebuke him for
his serious disobedience in yoking together with Ahab.
"And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him,
and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly,
and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee
from before the LORD" (2 Chronicles 19:2).
The disobedience of Jehoshaphat is akin to that of evangelicals
today (including contemporary Christian musicians) who refuse
to practice biblical separation. Just because a church or ministry
pleases God in certain areas does not mean that God will not
rebuke it for unfaithfulness in others. The Lord’s admonitions
to the seven churches of Asia in Revelation 2-3 illustrate this.
Jesus did not overlook areas of disobedience even in the best
of the churches, and it is the preachers that God uses to rebuke
error today. “Preach the word; be instant in season, out
of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and
doctrine” (2 Tim. 4:2). Paul did not overlook Peter’s
disobedience in a seeming insignificant matter but rather rebuked
him publicly (Gal. 2:11-13). I would also remind CCM defenders
that God has told us how to do evangelism, and there is absolutely
nothing in the Bible about entertainment evangelism. It is the
gospel that is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16) and
the Bible says that God has chosen to save people through the
foolishness of preaching (1 Cor. 1:21).

VATICAN CITY, 28 SEP 2010 (VIS) - A preparatory meeting for a
forum on "Cultures, identities of peoples and development
in Africa and the Black Diaspora" began yesterday in the
city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The initiative is being promoted
by the Pontifical Council for Culture and the Congregation for
the Evangelisation of peoples, while the forum itself is due
to be held in Abidjan in March 2011.
Among those participating in the preparatory meeting, which ends
on 1 October, are Fr. Barthelemy Adoukonou, secretary of the
Pontifical Council for Culture, and Archbishop Robert Sarah,
secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples.
Also taking part will be Cardinal Theodore-Adrien Sarr, president
of the Regional Episcopal Conference of West Africa (CERAO) and
vice president of the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa
and Madagascar (SECAM), and other bishops and theologians, as
well as diplomatic representatives from Ivory Coast and Benin.

What this passage of the Bible says is that God wants us to know
that He exists and is not willing to let anyone get away with
compromise, for to compromise would mean you are hiding behind
a lie. Such a person declares that there is a God but lives as
if God actually didn't exist, or that he simply isn't bothered.
Though they may engage in charitable works, God does not consider
their deeds righteous, in fact (as the prophet Isaiah wrote),
their works are as filthy menstrual rags.
The Masonic Order is one such example. To be a Mason one must
accept that there is a god, and engage in philanthropic endeavours,
yet the very nature of masonry is shrouded in
secrecy, occultic rituals and, at its highest levels is, according
to some of it's highest ranking leaders, Luciferian. These are
fools that hide behind a lie (as if there were no God, or that
he simply wasn't bothered) in order to justify their abominable
works/iniquities.
They think by doing good works they will gain favour from the
Lord, yet they choose to compromise the gospel in the name of
humanitarian aid, thus they become futile in their deeds and
their good works are not accounted as righteous because they
have forsaken the very things that God has said. Having dealings
with the occult the Bible says: "For rebellion is as the
sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry."

following is excerpted from Christian Post, Sept. 22, 2010: “People
buy insurance to financially protect themselves against undesirable
events – house fire, health problems. But now people can
‘protect’ themselves against a marriage gone wrong.
With only a 50 percent chance that a first marriage will last
in the United States, some people are buying into the idea that
they need divorce insurance. The idea became reality in August
when John Logan, a man who suffered great financial loss after
a divorce, launched a wedlock insurance company. For as little
as $16 a month for every $1,250 coverage, policyholders can cash
into the divorce coverage after four years if the unfortunate
but not unforeseen happens. On WedLock’s website, it admits
no one wants to think about divorce when the person is about
to get married. But it points potential clients to a long list
of ‘statistics [that] don’t lie’ showing divorce
is prevalent in U.S. society. According to the prediction of
the U.S. Census Bureau, only 33 percent of people who marry today
will reach their 25th anniversary. The site also features a large
counter that shows there have been 686,025 divorces in the U.S.
so far this year (at the time of the article), according to the
National Center of Health Statistics. But not everyone is a fan
of the divorce insurance and the idea it plants in a marriage.
Jenny Tyree, marriage analyst for CitizenLink, the political
arm of Focus on the Family, said divorce insurance builds into
a marriage an ‘escape plan’ rather than setting it
on the foundation of strong marital commitment. ... ‘a financial
incentive for divorce is a terrible way to begin a marriage.
When the going gets tough, which it inevitably will in every
marriage, that money might look better than the hard work required
by the husband and wife to get through the hard times,’
she said. Statistics suggest that the level of commitment wanes

for second marriages and rockets to 74 percent for third marriages,

prayed for the soon coming of the Twelfth Imam, otherwise known

us his followers and those who attest to his righteousness”

DENOMINATION A SINKING TITANIC?

ever sailed the seas. When built it was considered unsinkable.
Today, when the name Titanic is mentioned, we think of one thing:
the boat that was, is no more. It's at the bottom of the sea.
What a legacy! The name 'Titanic' has become synonymous with
the idea that a disaster can be avoided. You see, the sinking
of the Titanic provides an analogy of what can happen to human
aspirations when humbled by circumstances. A great ship that
was deemed to be unsinkable, sank because it hit an iceberg.
The disaster did not have to happen if proper precautions had
been taken.
The Process of Sinking the Titanic
In the case of the Titanic, human pride and accomplishment came
to a tragic end in a moment. The Titanic was on its maiden voyage.
The captain was sailing in dangerous waters. Although he had
been warned to be careful, the boat was thought to be invincible.
But of course we know now, this was not the case. Nature and
its forces intervened to show mankind is subservient. Of course,
the Titanic provides an excellent spiritual lesson for those
who study the Bible. Great things, great countries, and great
leaders can come to and end when a sovereign God pulls the plug.
The history of Christianity shows that the sinking of the Titanic
can help us to understand what often happens to denominations
and organizations. There comes a time when an organization that
was sailing successfully, hits an iceberg and then takes on water.
In the case of the Titanic, the circumstances that brought about
the sinking of the ship could have been avoided. Perhaps the
captain got a bit too confident. Or maybe the crew was giving
him faulty information. Maybe some of the crew wanted the captain
to make a mistake. Maybe some of the crew wanted to be captain
when the captain retired or died. Whatever the case, the dangerous
waters could have been avoided. If only a watchman would have
sounded the alarm. Of course the captain would have had to listen
and act accordingly.
But as we know, if there was a watchman who warned the captain,
the captain did not listen. The mighty ship hit an iceberg that
knocked a hole in the wall of the ship. Some felt the bump but
there were those who did not. Soon the boat began to take on
water. Then the boat began to list. At first the party continued
until it became apparent there was a serious problem. Eventually
concern turned into panic. There was a mad scramble for the lifeboats.
As the boat went into its final dive, many had to jump off in
desperation. Some were saved but many were not. The ship went
down to the bottom of the Atlantic. The greatest ship that had
ever been built did not make it to America. How tragic! How sad!

GREG LAURIE’S UNSCRIPTURAL EVANGELISTIC CRUSADES
Friday Church News Notes, David Cloud - September 24, 2010, Today’s
evangelicals tend to be pragmatists who think that God is fine
with something that is popular and “works.” The message
that comes across from their churches and evangelistic crusades
is that God is a cool Guy who loves rock & roll, doesn’t
take the details of the Bible very seriously, is very low key
on judgmentalism, and is totally unconcerned about “the
externals.” He is more like the God described in The Shack
novel than the God of Holy Scripture. This is the way God is
depicted at Greg Laurie’s massively popular Harvest Crusades,
which are raucous rock & roll parties interspersed with some
gospel preaching. The latest was held in Chicago. They began
in 1990 and have been attended by more than four million people.
That would be cause for great rejoicing if the outreaches were
faithful to Scripture, but there is death in the pot. Are we
supposed to rejoice when the world is served spiritual poison
in the name of Christ? The crusades are conducted in direct disobedience
to the Bible’s command not to be conformed to the world
(Romans 12:2; Ephesians 5:11; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17). The
“Christian” rock bands Laurie uses as “bait”
for his gospel ministry are nothing if not conformed to the world.
These include David Crowder Band, Kirk Franklin, Skillet, Third
Day, Audio Adrenaline, the Super Tones, Big Tent Revival, and
Kelient K. Further, Laurie’s Harvest Crusades are conducted
in direct disobedience to the Bible’s command to mark and
avoid those who teach heresy (Romans 16:17; 2 Timothy 3:5; 2
John 8-11). The list of 200 churches supporting Laurie’s
Chicago crusade included the Church of the Holy Cross, otherwise
known as the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Parish.
Laurie’s gospel message is light and frothy, befitting a
rock & roll environment. It downplays sin and repentance
and God’s holiness and judgment, focusing more on man’s
felt needs and Jesus as the one who meets those needs. Laurie
is the senior pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside,
California, one of America’s largest congregations. He came
out of Chuck Smith’s Calvary Chapel movement, the birthplace
of Christian rock in the late 1960s. The Bible leaves no doubt
that God does not accept sincere disobedience. When Jehoshaphat
yoked together with wicked Ahab, God sent a prophet to rebuke
him sharply (2 Chron. 19:7). When Moses struck the rock instead
of speaking to it, God refused to allow him to enter the Promised
Land (Num. 20:10-12), and when Uzzah reached out to steady the
ark when he feared it was falling, God killed him (2 Sam. 6:6-7).

is no conflict between believing in God and in the possibility

/ October 13, 2010 A woman in Cambridge is suing two companies
that make implantable radio tracking chips for pets, claiming
that her cat developed cancer after receiving one of the implants.
This Andrea Rutherford filed her lawsuit in Cambridge District
Court earlier this month, naming Merck & Co. of New Jersey,
distributor of the HomeAgain pet-tracking product, and Digital
Angel Inc., the Minnesota company that made the chip. The suit
claimed that the two companies violated an implied warranty that
the HomeAgain product was safe, and sought “reasonable compensatory
damages and interest.’’
Each chip contains a tiny radio that transmits an identification
code whenever the chip is scanned by a special detector used
at animal shelters across the country. Pets with embedded chips
can be identified by that method, and quickly returned to their

October 24, 2010 - Catholic bishops in the Middle East urged
the United Nations Saturday to end the Israeli occupation of
Arab lands at the end of a meeting chaired by Pope Benedict XVI.
In a final statement of their two-week synod, the bishops and
patriarchs of the region’s Catholic churches said the citizens
of the Middle East 'call upon the international community, particularly
the United Nations, conscientiously to work to find a peaceful,
just and definitive solution in the region, through the application
of the Security Council’s resolutions and taking the necessary
legal steps to put an end to the occupation of the different
Arab territories.
"The Palestinian people will thus have an independent and
sovereign homeland where they can live with dignity and security.
The State of Israel will be able to enjoy peace and security
within their internationally recognized borders.
"The Holy City of Jerusalem will be able to acquire its
proper status, which respects its particular character, its holiness
and the religious patrimony of the three religions: Jewish, Christian
and Muslim. We hope that the two-State-solution might become
a reality and not a dream only.' The statement referred to Security
Council resolutions which called on Israel to quit territories
seized during the 1967 Middle East War, including east Jerusalem,
the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The synod was marked by repeated
affirmations that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is at the
root of the tension affecting the whole Middle East.
With its resolution, the bishops said, "Iraq will be able
to put an end to the consequences of its deadly war and re-establish
a secure way of life which will protect all its citizens with
all their social structures, both religious and national. “Lebanon
will be able to enjoy sovereignty over its entire territory,
strengthen its national unity and carry on in its vocation to
be the model of coexistence between Christians and Muslims, of

One teaching which seems to attract many to the Charismatic movement
is the idea that physical healing is promised in Christ's atonement.
It is commonly taught by Pentecostal-Charismatic preachers that
if a person is saved and right with God he never has to be sick.
Healing is guaranteed, so to speak, for those who exercise faith.
This doctrine has been closely connected with the Pentecostal
movement throughout the twentieth century. The Dictionary of
Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements notes: "The formative
years of development for the classical Pentecostal churches were
from 1907 to 1932. As the movement aggressively grew and spread,
so the doctrine and practice of divine healing was extended since
it was one of the movement's cardinal doctrines" (emphasis
added) (p. 370).
Most Pentecostal historians trace their movement to the "tongues
speaking" experience of students at CHARLES PARHAM'S Bethel
Healing Home in Topeka, Kansas, in January 1901. Parham believed
that healing is in the atonement. One of Parham's disciples,
WILLIAM SEYMOUR, founded the Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles,
California, in 1906. From Seymour's Azusa Street and Parham's
Apostolic Faith movements, Pentecostalism spread and gained momentum.
The Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements notes
that all of the Pentecostal denominations today--including the
Assemblies of God (1914), the Church of God (1907), and the International
Church of the Foursquare Gospel (1923)--find their roots in the

- NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE BANK: ANOTHER TRILATERAL RIPOFF?

Labor Day speech that promised an additional Federal stimulus
for a sick economy, was a ringer. Here's why -- buried in the
$50 bil­lion infra­struc­ture stimulus promise is
the fol­lowing statement: "It sets up an Infra­struc­ture
Bank to leverage fed­eral dol­lars and focus on the smartest
invest­ments."
Infrastructure Bank Smartest investments? Obama would have you
think that this was his brainchild, but it is not. It will, however,
effec­tively cen­tralize another key area of our economy,
namely infra­struc­ture, into a gov­ern­ment
run enter­prise that mostly ben­efits the pri­vate
capital of the global elite, and in particular, members of the
Trilateral Commission.
For a historical perspective, we need to look back to August
2007 during the Bush administration when S.1926 was intro­duced
(National Infra­struc­ture Bank Act of 2007) by Sen.
Chris Dodd (D-CT) and Chuck Hagel (R-NE). The failed bill pro­vided
for an inde­pen­dent gov­ern­ment entity (think
FDIC, for instance) with a five-member board appointed by the
Pres­i­dent and con­firmed by the Senate.
In 2009, the Obama Administration promoted similar legislation
introduced into the House as H.R.2521 by Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT)
to "facilitate efficient investments and financing of infrastructure
projects and new job creation through the establishment of a
National Infrastructure Development Bank, and for other purposes."

would pass (it has not) that the 2010 budget included appropriations

Anna Wade - USS STOUT, At Sea: U.S. ships attached to Destroyer
Squadron 24 successfully completed Joint Warrior 10-2, Oct. 14,
in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean. Joint Warrior is a two-week,
multinational training exercise that takes place off the coast
of Scotland. Led by the Joint Tactical Exercise Planning Staff
in the U.K., it is designed to improve interoperability between
allied navies and prepare participating crews to conduct combined
operations during deployment.
"Joint Warrior gives us a chance to practice and hone our
skills while working with our NATO allies," said Cmdr. Nathan
Borchers, executive officer aboard guided-missile destroyer USS
Stout. Joint Warrior creates a notional geo-political scenario
where conflict over human rights violations and piracy attacks
lead to full-scale hostilities including simulated attacks from
submarines, air craft and small boats. The exercise promotes
Commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet's three focus areas, which are conducting
safe and effective fleet operations to achieve mission, providing
ready maritime forces for global assignment and teaming with
allies and partners in execution of the maritime strategy. "When
you bring all the warfare areas together, you really see how
you can handle all the different things a ship might have to
attest to," said Borchers. Throughout the exercise, sailors
honed skills in anti-submarine warfare, mine warfare, air defense,
defending small boat attacks and anti-piracy tactics. "Stout
has achieved a lot in Joint Warrior,” said Chief Intelligence
Specialist Jaymore Ingram, intelligence officer aboard Stout.
“It has really brought our unit closer together, which reflects
our training."
With Joint Warrior 10-2 complete, the fictional adversaries defeated
and all essential training accomplished, the U.S. ships are now
certified to deploy. Sailors will also get the chance to enjoy
some exclusive port visits before the return voyage across the
Atlantic Ocean. Guided-missile destroyers USS Bainbridge and
USS Nitze will experience a port visit in Faslane, Scotland,
while Stout heads for Den Helder, Netherlands. The U.S. ships
participating in Joint Warrior 10-2 included Bainbridge, Nitze,

Destroyer Squadron 24, commanded by Capt. Aaron C. Jacobs. The

the most scrutiny from regulators in the past year over the shorting
of mortgage related securities seems to have had good timing
when it came to something else: the stock of British oil giant
BP. According to regulatory filings, RawStory.com has found that
Goldman Sachs sold 4,680,822 shares of BP in the first quarter
of 2010. Goldman's sales were the largest of any firm during
that time. Goldman would have pocketed slightly more than $266
million if their holdings were sold at the average price of BP's
stock during the quarter. If Goldman had sold these shares today,
their investment would have lost 36 percent its value, or $96
million. The share sales represented 44 percent of Goldman's
holdings -- meaning that Goldman's remaining holdings have still
lost tens of millions in value.

virus may be starting to mutate, and a slightly new form has
begun to predominate in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore,

A BIG PROBLEM TO WATCH

WILL SMART CARDS REPLACE TRADITIONAL CREDIT CARDS?

adopt new smartcard technology In recent years, a number of new
technologies have emerged that change the way credit cardholders
pay for their purchases. Consumers are now able to shop with
their smart phones, and small business owners and independent
contractors can accept payments with portable processing systems.
But the U.S. has not quite caught up to other countries, who
have shifted from credit cards that host a magnetic strip to
new smartcards, which contains an embedded chip.
The U.S. has been slow to adopt smartcard technology, with only
600,000 point-of-sale terminals carrying the capability to accept
smartcards, Smart Card Alliance executive director Randy Vanderhoof
told The New York Times. However, some credit card lenders have
issued some smartcard technology, although it has yet to take
a strong hold. American Express issued its ExpressPay product
in 2005, which allows consumers to pay by either swiping or waving
their card or key fob in front of a reader, the Times reports.
The caveat is few retailers carry the payment technology that
allows them to read the smartcard.

provider store details for at least a year will be unveiled later

the storage of internet and email records without good reason".
Any suggestion of a central "super database" has been
ruled out but the plans are expected to involve service providers
storing all users details for a set period of time. That will
allow the security and police authorities to track every phone
call, email, text message and website visit made by the public
if they argue it is needed to tackle crime or terrorism. The
information will include who is contacting whom, when and where
and which websites are visited, but not the content of the conversations
or messages. The move was buried in the Government's Strategic
Defence and Security Review, which revealed: "We will introduce

health has found evidence linking cell phone usage to an increased
