this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years.
We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking
out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth:
out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at the time we
were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years.

and the present development of the New World Order. We began

The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
and today's church doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word
of God has undergone many changes to fit the progressive modes.
Many new Bible tranlations have brought confusion. The Bible
calls for a falling away from the truth before
Jesus comes back for His Bride. The true believers are called
'Ekklesia.' Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the
Bible is true from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, the so called democratizing what is left of the world.
This is a deception since the underlying new world global government
is developed by implementing sustainable development. The
Bible prophesies that there will be ten kings (ten horns), each
king (horn) will receive a region of the world as a reward for
work well done for the Antichrist. This is the reason for the
present development of NAU (The North American Union) as well
as the war in the Middle East. It again proves that we are moving
to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied in the Bible.
The end result will not be Democracy but a form of Fascist Communism
(Public/Private Corporations enslaving mankind).
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings because Israel is the time piece of the Biblical Prophecy.
1948 was the beginning of the figtree representing Israel, coming
back to life. Israel was allowed to return to its land. Israel
is the rock upon which the world stumbles and crumbles. We watch
and visit Israel for signs which point to the Tribulation to
confirm that we are moving into that space of time.

- INTRODUCTION
- To read this book requires love for the Gospel, if you don't
you might as well put it away because you'll simply think it
foolishness. The book proves that biblical truth is indeed truth
that sustains us. No matter what happens to us we land on our
feet and move on knowing we are only passing through. The world
is irrelevant. What is relevant is our eternal life, where we'll
spend it in heaven or hell. All human beings have eternal life
but where they will spend it is the question.
This book will reveal the resistance we are up against in our
enemy Satan who only works to undermine believers in Christ Jesus
because Satan knows where he is going and wants all of humanity
to join him. Those who already have sworn their allegiance to
Satan are no problem to him. Like Jesus Christ, who preached
only three years, was crucified because Satan hated Him, we become
the object of Satan's hatred as well. Had Jesus weakened and
let Satan tempt Him, He would have been King of this world for

by fasting 40 days before He was confronted with the offer to
possess the whole world. If He was 100% human and 100% Spirit,
He experienced everything humans do, yet gave Himself to be humiliated,
be bled and died for our sakes who are completely undeserving
as you will see in this book.
God knows our lot, that we have no chance of making it to Heaven
on our own. We can try as hard as we want; Satan derails us at
every turn without God's intervention. Most of us believe that
we are good people and would not hurt anyone, go to church on
Sunday and earn our wages by the sweat of our brow. That is well
and good, but we tend to be rebels spiritually. We want to do
it our way instead of studying the Bible we read other books
and listen to evangelists in the hope that's going to get us

The top-selling Bible in North America will undergo its first
revision in 25 years, promising to reopen a contentious debate
about changing gender terms in the sacred text. The New International
Version, the Bible of choice for conservative evangelicals, will
be revised to reflect changes in English usage and advances in
Biblical scholarship, it was announced Tuesday. The revision
is scheduled to be completed late next year and published in
2011.
"We want to reach English speakers across the globe with
a Bible that is accurate, accessible and that speaks to its readers
in a language they can understand," said Keith Danby, global
president and CEO of Biblica, a Colorado Springs, Colo.-based
Christian ministry that holds the NIV copyright.
But past attempts to remake the NIV for contemporary audiences
in different editions have been plagued by controversies about
gender language that have pitted theological conservatives against
each other.
The changes did not make all men "people" or remove
male references to God, but instead involved dropping gender-specific
terms when translators judged that the original text didn't intend
it. So in some verses, references to "sons of God"
became "children of God," for example. Supporters say
gender-inclusive changes are more accurate and make the Bible
more accessible, but critics contend they twist meaning or smack
of political correctness.
Acknowledging past missteps, the NIV's overseers are promising
that this time, the revision process will be more transparent
and that they will actively promote what they describe as a long-held
practice of inviting input from scholars and readers. The NIV
was first published in 1978 and more than 300 million NIV Bibles
are in print worldwide; its publishers and distributors say the
translation accounts for 30 percent of Bibles sold in North America.

very rare exemptions,' he points out. 'They're following the
German statute, following the German model.' In Germany, parents
face stiff penalties if they are caught illegally home schooling
their children. The Romeike family recently left Germany and

2009: "The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal on Wednesday ruled
that Section 13, Canada's much maligned human rights hate speech
law, violates the Charter right to free expression because it
carries the threat of punitive fines. The shocking decision by
Tribunal member Athanasios Hadjis leaves several hate speech
cases in limbo, and appears to strip the Canadian Human Rights
Commission of its controversial legal mandate to pursue hate
on the Internet, which it has strenuously defended against complaints
of censorship. It also marks the first major failure of Section
13(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act, an anti-hate law that
was conceived in the 1960s to target racist telephone hotlines,
then expanded in 2001 to the include the entire Internet. ...
All sides seem to agree, however, that the stage is set for pitched
battle in federal court, where CHRT rulings can be appealed.
Another less likely outcome is for Parliament itself to repeal
or amend Section 13, a law that even supporters say needs updating

When World Relief, the "benevolence" arm of the National
Association of Evangelicals, hired an Obama campaign operative
-- Andrew Mwavua -- to lead its church relations program, I thought
that move was interesting. It became even more interesting when
I discovered that World Relief derived more than 50 percent of
its annual budget from the federal government. Was World Relief
hiring an Obama guy to keep the federal dollars flowing? World
Relief said the answer to that question is "no." But
the story gets more interesting when I start asking Mwavua questions
about his personal religious beliefs, and his views on such issues
as abortion. When I asked him if he was pro-life, he said he
was not "pro-abortion." A couple of days after my interview,
I got an email from World Relief saying that Mwavua had resigned,
effective Sept. 1 -- just days after my Aug. 28 interview with

object to a gay-friendly curriculum they say is being foisted
on kindergartners could well become a test case for schools around
the country. Parents in the Alameda Unified School District were
refused the right to excuse their kids from classes that would
teach all kids in the district's elementary schools about gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgender alternative families. The parents
say they are concerned about "indoctrination" in the
schools, but administrators say the course is needed to protect
against sexual discrimination — and that the lessons are
protected by laws in California and 10 other states. Those states,
which stretch from Washington to Maine, will now be eyeing the
court results in California in a case that warring sides say
pits parents' rights against a schools' responsibilities. The
contested California curriculum includes an annual 45-minute
LGBT lesson taught to kids from kindergarten through the fifth
grade. The kindergartners will focus on the harms of teasing,
while the fifth graders will study sexual orientation stereotypes.

of Churches has said that Israel's occupation of Palestinian
territories should be declared a "sin against God".
"Occupation along with the concomitant humiliation of a
whole people for over six decades constitutes not just economic
and political crimes but, like anti-Semitism, it is a sin against
God," said WCC general secretary the Rev. Samuel Kobia,
in a report revised from its original text on 26 August to a
meeting of the church grouping's main governing body, its central
committee. He noted that at its founding assembly in Amsterdam
in 1948, the WCC has declared that anti-Semitism is a "sin
against God". Kobia said, speaking to a revised version

between Pope John Paul II and Mikhail Gorbachev offers a fascinating
behind-the-scenes glimpse of one of the more important papal
audiences of the 20th century.

meeting, released by the National Security Archive, an independent

held their closed-door talks. Those talks lasted 76 minutes —
an extraordinarily long time for papal audiences — and journalists
always wondered how the exchange had gone. We reported today
on the new disclosures, in a story available only to CNS subscribers.
Here is the transcript of the meeting provided by the National
Security Archive. It picks up when interpreters entered the papal
library following about five minutes of one-on-one talks between
the pope and the Soviet leader: Record of Conversation of M.S.
Gorbachev and John Paul II Vatican, December 1, 1989
- For the first several minutes the conversation was one-on-one
(without interpreters).
- Gorbachev: I would like to say that I appreciate your words
at the beginning of the conversation regarding the fact that
this is a meeting of two Slavic people, among other things. I
don’t mean to appear as a pan-Slavist, but I believe in
the mission of Slavic people to strengthen the understanding
of human values of life, peace, and goodness everywhere.
- John Paul II: Yes, this is so. Peace and goodness.
- Gorbachev: We welcome your mission on this high altar, we
are sure that it will leave a great footprint in history. I am
familiar with your addresses to the world, with your reflection
upon its problems. I even noted that we often use similar expressions.
This means that there is agreement at the source—in our
thoughts. I do not know why, but I was sure that this meeting
would take place. Not only because it is in the interest of humanity,
although this is important as we are contemporaries. But first
and foremost it is because we have a great deal of unifying thoughts
and concerns.

in the name of the vast country that I represent I would like
to express respect for your peace-making efforts.

- BENEDICT XVI IS THE SECOND-TO-LAST POPE, SAYS IRISH PROPHET
MALACHY

of the Irish saint Malachy, the 12th century bishop of Armagh
who predicted all the popes, have thrilled and dismayed readers
for centuries. He has stated there will be only one more pope
after the current one, and during his reign comes the end of
the world. "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church
there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid
many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be
destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End."
In 1139, then-Archbishop Malachy went to Rome from Ireland to
give an account of his affairs. While there, he received a strange
vision about the future that included the name of every pope,
112 in all from his time, who would rule until the end of time.
We are now at the second last prophecy. His predictions are taken
very seriously. As one report states, "In 1958, before the
Conclave that would elect Pope John XXIII, Cardinal Spellman
of New York hired a boat, filled it with sheep and sailed up
and down the Tiber River, to show that he was 'pastor et nautor,'
the motto attributed to the next Pope in the prophecies."
As for the prophecy concerning the 111th pope, Pope Benedict,
the prophecy says of him, "Gloria Olivae," which means
"the glory of the olive." The order of Saint Benedict
is also known as the Olivetans, which many claim makes Malachy's
prophecies correct. The next and final pope then should be "Peter
Romanus" St. Malachy gave an account of his visions to Pope
Innocent II, but the document remained unknown in the Roman archives
until its discovery in 1590. Many of the prophecies are spot
on. For example, the one about Urban VIII is Lilium et Rosa (the
lily and the rose); he was a native of Florence and on the arms
of Florence figured a fleur-de-lis. Pope John Paul II is De labore
Solis, meaning "of the eclipse of the sun." Karol Wojtyla,
who would become Pope John Paul II, was born on May 18, 1920
during a solar eclipse. Peregrinus apostolicus (pilgrim pope),
which designates Pius VI, appears to be verified by his many
journeys to new lands. So is Benedict the second last pope? The

a report highly critical of the way Catholic leaders in Dublin
handled sex abuse claims, members of the Irish bishops’
conference suspended all regular business at their winter general
meeting yesterday in Maynooth to discuss the report.

apologize to all those who were abused by priests as children,
their families and to all people who feel rightly outraged and
let down by the failure of moral leadership and accountability
that emerges from the report. As an initial response to the report,
we agreed today to request the National Board for Safeguarding
Children in the Catholic Church to explore with the relevant
government departments and statutory authorities, North and South,
a mechanism by which to ensure that the church’s current
policies and practices in relation to the safeguarding of children
represent best practice and that allegations of abuse are properly
handled.

- Oral Roberts, a pioneer in televangelism who founded a multimillion-dollar
ministry and a university that bears his name, died Tuesday.
He was 91.
- Roberts died of complications from pneumonia in Newport Beach,
Calif., according to his spokesman, A. Larry Ross. The evangelist
was hospitalized after a fall on Saturday. He had survived two
heart attacks in the 1990s and a broken hip in 2006.
- Roberts was a pioneer who broadcast his spirit-filled revivals
on television, a new frontier for religion when he started in
the 1950s. He was also a forerunner of the controversial "prosperity
gospel" that has come to dominate televangelism. The evangelist's
"Seed-Faith" theology held that those who give to God
will get things in return. "If God had not, in His sovereign
will, raised up the ministry of Oral Roberts, the entire charismatic
movement might not have occurred," said Jack Hayford, president
of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, in a statement.

- Few had heard of Rodney Howard-Browne before he led a series
of revival meetings in Lakeland, Florida in 1993. A lot has happened
since then; some of it is commendable, and some of it is reprehensible.
In theory Browne came to America from South Africa to "revive"
a largely sleeping church. He quickly got labeled as a Holy Ghost
"bartender" because of the manifestations of "holy
laughter" dominating his ministry. In his meetings he taught
that no only it was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep
but only God was to judge pastors, not the (dumb) sheep! He also
taught that thieves were to be blessed and rewarded, not judged
for this is what Jesus would want them to do! He also taught
that it was more important to give than to receive and spend
a lot of time receiving offerings that he spent on himself and
family members. Rodney learned about nepotism from his good friend
Senior Pastor Karl Strader of Carpenter’s Home Church, Lakeland,
Florida, for the bible stated: 1TM 5:8 "But if anyone
does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his
household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

was candid about his reason for making use of head-banging rock,
hip-hop, and even a mosh pit set up by BGEA. ‘We’re
just changing the lure. Kids today love rock music. We’re
giving them the music they like and understand’ (Quad City

here is Franklin Graham’s notion of what is worship acceptable
to the Lord. The Scriptures have much to say on that very issue,
for instance, ‘Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his
name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness’ (Psa.
29:2) ... But apparently Mr. Graham holds the same philosophy
as his rock-and-roll followers, including two young women I interviewed
at the Rock the River event at which we ministered in Davenport
on Saturday, August 8. After our time of preaching, passing out
tracts, and holding signs, I assumed my Christian media identity
and conducted an interview with two evangelical rockers. With
pounding, ear-splitting music as the backdrop, I brought up that
the Scriptures command that the Lord be worshiped with reverence
and also ‘in the beauty of holiness.’ I asked them
if Rock the River fits that description. The young women confidently
explained to me that ‘it depends on who you are as a person.
Like, some people love this. And you have to worship as you do,
and they have to worship as they do.’ But I asked again,
‘Is this music reverent?’ Again, the god ‘I’
was put forward as the ultimate authority in such matters. ‘I
think it’s awesome . . . I think it’s perfect . . .
I think for them that’s reverent. For you it might be different
. . . for them it’s how they get it all out.’ Reverence,
I was told, is different for everyone. And what of holiness?
‘I think it’s how you view it.’ Such is the ignorance
and such are the resulting beliefs that allow, and seduce, young
evangelicals into the ‘Christian’ rock culture which
is anything but Christian and into a worship of God which is
really a frenzied, heathenish worship of another christ, with
another gospel preached, and all of this by another spirit, not

street preacher is accusing police of violating his constitutional
rights after officers arrested him for not having a parade permit
while he spoke out against homosexuality on a public sidewalk
in Manchester, Ga. Chris Pettigrew and Pastor Billy Ball and
of Faith Baptist Church in Primrose, Ga., were arrested multiple
times Aug 24 after they held signs on a public street corner
telling people to repent and declaring homosexuality a sin. They
held signs that stated: 'Repent ye, and believe the gospel, Mark
1:15,' and, 'Three gay rights: AIDS, hell, salvation.' ... Pettigrew
said officers from the Manchester Police Department were initially
cordial when they told him he must have a permit to stand on
the sidewalk with his sign. 'We simply said, We can't do that.
It's our constitutional right to free speech. We're not impeding
any kind of traffic. We're peaceably assembled, so we're going
to do what we came to do, he said.' At that moment, another officer
arrived, joined the others and told the men they must obtain
a permit to remain on the sidewalk. Displeased with their answer,
Pettigrew said, 'they handcuffed us and took us to the city jail
in Manchester.' Later, while Pettigrew and his comrades remained
in jail, Pastor Ball and another man arrived at the street corner
to share his message. So, police arrested Ball. ... 'If I were
holding a sign that said, Two large pizzas for $5, I don't think
I would have gotten a second look from police. I firmly and adamantly

and is used by permission: "Great article on the roots of
Alcoholics Anonymous ("AA: Christian or Occult Roots?"
Aug. 20, 2009, Way of Life Literature). My Father was heavily
involved in AA in the early to mid-1980's, my mother in Alanon.
Both had rejected church attendance after we moved in 1979 from
the town in which they were active church members. Dad went back
to drinking which turned into weekend binges and my mother started
smoking and using foul language. When their marriage relationship
began to sour, Dad started going to AA instead of turning back
to Christ. During that time, my late brother and I were encouraged
to attend Ala-teen. After two sessions, I rejected it as nothing
more than a platform that encouraged rebellion against one's
parents. It definite ly not expounding any Christian faith, contrary
to its advertisement. In short, AA and its auxiliaries were the
final nail in the coffin (so-to-speak) in the disintegration
of our family. Both of my parents claimed Christ as their Savior
but were beguiled into thinking that they were part of something
that could solve their problems, instead of returning to their
first love--Christ and His Word. My brother, who passed on recently
from an apparent overdose of prescription pain killers, became
caught up in the AA program as an adult. My mother passed away
in 1993, never seeing the inside of a church after 1982. My father
and brother finally started going back to church regularly last
year. Even though my brother has passed away, my Father is still
attending church. I would hope that all the saints of God would
realize that AA is not an acceptable substitute for Christ and
His Word when needing answers to life's problems and gaining

of professing Christian leaders are compromising their faith
by uniting with Muslims? Could it be that we are witnessing the
formation of the prophesied one-world religion under the Antichrist?

For example, Brian McLaren, a prominent Emerging Church leader,
announced plans to celebrate the Islamic holiday Ramadan, commemorating
Muhammad's reception of the Quran. On the Fourth of July, when
most Americans were celebrating the birth of our nation, Rick
Warren, "America's Pastor," addressed the Islamic Society
of North America, which, the Department of Justice categorized
two years ago as a co-conspirator in financing a foreign terrorist
group! Another Emerging Church leader, Tony Campolo, a proponent
of the so-called "evangelical left" claimed that "even
if" Muslims "don't convert, they are God's people."
Campolo further declared, "A theology of mysticism provides
some hope for common ground between Christianity and Islam."

and Warren, has a habit of compromising biblical truth to forge
unholy alliances with sworn enemies of the Gospel. Campolo admitted,

"Christianity is growing more rapidly in Pakistan than anyone
in government will admit."
The same day we met, Islamic radicals were burning Christian
houses to the ground in Gojra, an area not far from Saleem's
city. So far, the body count in Gojra has been estimated to be
as high as 20, and 19 others were injured when masked militants
associated with the Talibanattacked a peaceful Christian settlement.
Last week's violence flared after a Christian was accused of
desecrating a copy of the Quran. One of Saleem's friends was
severely wounded. This happens often in Pakistan, where so-called
blasphemy laws make it a capital offense to tear a page of the
Islamic holy bookor to insult the name of Muhammad. Right now,
a 4-year-old girl is waiting in a prison cell to be executed
for damaging a Quran.
Saleem lifted up his sleeve and showed me two scars near his
elbow and wrist. They mark where a bullet passed through one
end of his arm to the other when Islamic militants shot him in
the city of Lahore in 2005. If you take a close look at Saleem's
scalp, under his thick black hair, you will find many scars from
where he was beaten on the head with sticks. "Many members
of my church have been put in jail because of these 'blasphemy'
laws," Saleem said - noting that the charges were false.
Saleem receives untraceable text messages almost every day from
Taliban members threatening to kill him.
Islamic militants are upset because Christianity is growing more
rapidly in Pakistan than anyone in government will admit. Official
statistics say Pakistan is 2 percent Christian. Saleem claims
the figure is much higher. He says many former Muslims won't
state their religion in surveys because they fear reprisals from
radical Islamists, and because Christians are denied jobs and

When they drew near the Christian section of the town, they attacked
the Christian homes, setting fire to 100 homes, resulting in
the death of 10 people. News agencies reportedly said four Christian
women and one child were burned alive in the rampage, and an
eyewitness said others died of gunshot.
A report by the Centre for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement
(CLAAS) said, "There were unaccountable people in the mob,
and they were out of control, because only four police constables
were trying to stop the mob of thousands of people." Source

- MOUNT SINAI DISCOVERED
- Adullam Films Newsletter: “And it shall come to pass
in the last days saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon
all flesh … And I will show wonders in the heaven above,

our last newsletter, we discussed the recent developments with
the Euphrates River, and how it has dried up (at least parts
of it) in what could end up being the fulfillment of Revelation
16:12. But even before this story, two daring adventurers made
their way into Saudi Arabia in an attempt to find the true location
of Mount Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments from
God, and the Old Law. The fruit of their endeavor was to uncover
things that have been hidden from the civilized world for centuries.
One has to see it to believe it, but they followed the trail
of the children of Israel, across the Red Sea and into the wilderness
where they drank water from a rock, worshiped the golden calf,
and where the fire of God descended upon Mount Sinai. What is
incredible is that the mount that is called Sinai is blackened

- EVOLUTION TO BE COMPULSERY SUBJECT IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
- November 20, 2009 - Evolution is to become a compulsory subject
for study in all state primary schools. The Government announced
yesterday that Darwin’s theory of how life evolved through
natural selection would be a legal requirement in science teaching
from September 2011, although it will be left to schools to decide
how this is done. The move, which was welcomed by scientists,
comes despite a drive to slim down the national curriculum for
primary schools and leave teachers greater discretion over what
to teach. British history will also become, for the first time,
an explicit part of the curriculum that primary schools must
teach, although it makes no reference to which kings, battles,
periods or events should be taught.
- Church and other faith schools within the state system will
have to educate their pupils about the theory of evolution, although
officials said it could be taught in a context that reflected
a school’s ethos, in a similar way to compulsory sex education
for children aged under 15. “You could do that within the
ethos of the school. If as a school, in consultation with governors
and parents, you have a particular take on that, you would still
be able to do that,” said a spokesman for the Department
for Children, Schools and Families. The change, included in legislation
introduced in the Commons yesterday, follows a review of the
curriculum for primary schools published earlier this year by
Sir Jim Rose. A consultation on his proposals to loosen the number
of formal topics taught in primary schools prompted calls for
the curriculum explicitly to include evolution. More than 500
scientists and supporters signed an e-petition to Downing Street.
- The new curriculum is to include a requirement “to investigate
and explain how plants and animals are ‘interdependent’
and are diverse and adapted to their environment by natural selection”.
The age at which children must be taught about evolution is not
specified; it must be included in science lessons “in the
later stage of the primary education”.
- The Royal Society applauded the decision and said that it
would send booklets to all teacher-training colleges with information
and advice. Professor Sir Martin Taylor, its vice-president,
said: “We are delighted to see evolution explicitly included
in the primary curriculum. One of the most remarkable achievements
of science over the past 200 years has been to show how humans
and organisms on the Earth arose through evolution.”

- SEVENTH-GAY ADVENTISTS DOCUMENTARY
 An Interview with the Filmmakers
- November 1, 2009 - Filmmakers Daneen Akers and her husband
Stephen Eyer are deep believers in the power of story telling.
Daneen and Stephen, who are new parents, grew up in the Seventh-day
Adventist Church, attended SDA schools and both taught at Pacific
Union College. And now they make documentaries. Their current
project is making news. They are traveling across the country
for three months, gathering stories for a feature-length documentary
film they're calling "Seventh-Gay Adventists: A film about
love, sex, and eternal life."
- The stated goal is to create an honest and open conversation
about the issue of religion and homosexuality that leads to a
more just and compassionate future. The stories in the making
of this production so far are heartfelt and courageous. In Lincoln,
Nebraska, they filmed gay Adventists talking about attempting
suicide, about feeling alone and alienated and struggling hard
to reconcile their faith with their sexuality. One 39-year-old
man told them about his ongoing depression since he came out
in 1997, and his fears of losing his family and his job. And
his desire to change the church he grew up in–and misses.
Giving gay Adventists a voice to share who they are with a larger
audience is a running theme, and so is change. Change in the
church. Change in people who see their gay friends and neighbors
telling their stories. I had many questions about the making
of this film so I caught up with Stephen and Daneen. Here is
the result of our chats during their travels across the country.

- OBAMA FIRST US PRESIDENT TO CHAIR UN SECURITY COUNCIL

Never in the history of the United Nations has a U.S. President
taken the chairmanship of the powerful UN Security Council. Perhaps
it is because of what could arguably be a Constitutional prohibition
against doing so. To wit: Section 9 of the Constitution says:
No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And
no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall,
without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument,
Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince,
or foreign State. Nonetheless, the rotating chairmanship of the
council goes to the U.S. this month. The normal course of business
would have U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice take the gavel.
However, this time will be different. Constitution be damned,
Barack Hussein Obama has decided to put HIMSELF in the drivers
seat, and will preside over global nuclear non-proliferation
and disarmament talks slated to begin September 24th. The Financial
Times says:
Barack Obama will cement the new co-operative relationship between
the US and the United Nations this month when he becomes the
first American president to chair its 15-member Security Council.
The topic for the summit-level session of the council on September
24 is nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear disarmament - one
of several global challenges that the US now wants to see addressed
at a multinational level. UN officials also hope a climate change
debate on September 22 will give fresh impetus to the search
for a global climate deal at Copenhagen in December. There are
also hopes a possible meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli
prime minister, and Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Authority president,
that Mr. Obama would host, could lead to a breakthrough about
a timetable for Middle East peace.
Here is what the UN Security Council does. Picture Obama as the
Chair of this committee with this power.
Under the UN Charter, the functions and powers of the Security
Council are:
* to maintain international peace and security in accordance
with the principles and purposes of the United Nations
* to investigate any dispute or situation which might lead to
international friction
* to recommend methods of adjusting such disputes or the terms
of settlement
* to formulate plans for the establishment of a system to regulate
armaments
* to determine the existence of a threat to the peace or act
of aggression and to recommend what action should be taken
* to call on Members to apply economic sanctions and other measures
not involving the use of force to prevent or stop aggression
* to take military action against an aggressor
* to recommend the admission of new Members
* to exercise the trusteeship functions of the United Nations
in "strategic areas"
* to recommend to the General Assembly the appointment of the
Secretary-General and, together with the Assembly, to elect the
Judges of the International Court of Justice.
No American president has ever attempted to acquire the image
of King of the Universe by officiating at a meeting of the UN's
highest body. Obama apparently believes that being flanked by
council-member heads of state like Col. Moammar Qaddafi - who
is expected to be seated five seats to Obama's right - will cast
a sufficiently blinding spell on Americans.
He undoubtedly hopes that the horrid state of the nation's economy,
turmoil over health care, and a summer of racial scapegoating
will pale by comparison. This role as UN Security Council chair
will allow him to make decisions, influence legislation and resolutions,
and set the agenda.
Right Soup will be closely following this very unsettling turn
of events. Like I always say, pay attention to what Obama DOES.

2009 11:49 - Lunch began with a message from Ban Ki-Moon. Amir
Dossal, executive director for the UN Office for Partnerships,
spoke of behalf of the UN secretary-general, who reached out
to the GCLS to forge “a new multilateralism that delivers.”
He urged continued action on the Millennium Development Goals
as their target date of 2015 looms ever closer, and warned that
“a new crisis” involving the near-poor is spreading.
He also introduced the UN’s Global Impact and Vulnerability
Alert System (GIVAS) as a networked, twenty-first-century system
to monitor the global impacts of the financial crisis in real
time. Finally, he called for cooperation at December’s summit
in Copenhagen on climate change. “These and other problems
transcend national borders; so too must solutions,” Ban
said. “I will look to you to press your leaders for action.”
After delivering Ban’s message, Dossal turned to the man
of the hour—esteemed media mogul, innovator, and philanthropist
Ted Turner. He told of his first interactions with Turner, recounting
how he once came to the UN with a billion dollar offer. Turner’s
net worth had gone up by $1b in the past year, and since the
United States had been stingy in its international obligations,
he had offered to pay on its behalf (intending, by the way, to
later sue the U.S. government). “Kofi Annan nearly fell
off his chair,” Dossal declared. The UN at the time could
not legally accept private donations, so they worked together
to create the UN Foundation, a public charity that supports UN
causes and activities. “You have changed the mothership,”
Dossal said to Turner. “Thank you.”

- TURNER CALLED THE TERRORISTS BRAVE
- "... Turner, who called the terrorists who attacked
America on Sept. 11 "brave" and compared President
Bush to Roman dictator Julius Caesar, was praised by the UNA
as the U.N.'s "billion-dollar man" for his $1 billion
contribution to the world body. Turner won the UNA's "global
leadership" award in 1997.
- Although perhaps best known for staging "Model U.N."
programs at public schools, the UNA plays a major role in Washington,
D.C. and New York in lobbying for more money, authority and influence
for the U.N. The group published a 1995 study, "National
Taxpayers, International Organizations," suggesting global
taxes as a solution to the U.N. "revenue problem."
- The UNA claims 23,000 members and 100 affiliated organizations,
including the AFL-CIO, American Humanist Association, Planned
Parenthood, and the pro-world government World Federalist Association.
- The International Criminal Court (ICC), which theoretically
could prosecute and imprison American service men and women on
foreign soil for perceived war crimes, is the brainchild of the

A few highlights from the first 500 pages of the Healthcare bill
in congress
- Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure!
Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!
Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and
benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals
process.
Page 42: The "Health Choices Commissioner" will decide
health benefits for you. You will have no choice. None.
Page 50: All non-US citizens, illegal or not, will be provided
with free healthcare services.
Page 58: Every person will be issued a National ID Healthcard.
Page 59: The federal government will have direct, real-time access
to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.
Page 65: Taxpayers will subsidize all union retiree and community
organizer health plans (read: SEIU, UAW and ACORN)
Page 72: All private healthcare plans must conform to government
rules to participate in a Healthcare Exchange.
Page 84: All private healthcare plans must participate in the

- On page 425 it says in black and white that EVERYONE on Social
Security, (will include all Senior Citizens and SSI people) will
go to MANDATORY counseling every 5 years to learn and to choose
from ways to end your suffering and your life). Health care will
be denied based on age. $500 Billion will be cut from Seniors
healthcare. The only way for that to happen is to drastically
cut health care, the oldest and the sickest will be cut first.
- Paying for your own care will not be an
option.

AMONG SCIENTISTS

allegedly exchanged between some of the world's leading climate
scientists during the past 13 years have been stolen by hackers
and leaked online, it emerged today.
- The computer files were apparently accessed earlier this
week from servers at the University of East Anglia's Climate
Research Unit, a world-renowned centre focused on the study of
natural and anthropogenic climate change.
- Climate change sceptics who have studied the emails allege
they provide "smoking gun" evidence that some of the
climatologists colluded in manipulating data to support the widely
held view that climate change is real, and is being largely caused
by the actions of mankind. The veracity of the emails has not
been confirmed and the scientists involved have declined to comment
on the story, which broke on a blog called The Air Vent. The
files, which in total amount to 160MbB of data, were first uploaded
on to a Russian server, before being widely mirrored across the
internet. The emails were accompanied by the anonymous statement:
"We feel that climate science is, in the current situation,
too important to be kept under wraps. We hereby release a random
selection of correspondence, code and documents. Hopefully it
will give some insight into the science and the people behind

CANADA FREE PRESS - Global Warming is often called a hoax. I
disagree because a hoax has a humorous intent to puncture pomposity.
In science, such as with the Piltdown Man hoax, it was done to
expose those with fervent but blind belief. The argument that
global warming is due to humans, known as the anthropogenic global
warming theory (AGW) is a deliberate fraud. I can now make that
statement without fear of contradiction because of a remarkable
hacking of files that provided not just a smoking gun, but an
entire battery of machine guns. Someone hacked in to the files
of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) based at the University of
East Anglia. A very large file (61 mb) was downloaded and posted
to the web. Phil Jones Director of the CRU has acknowledged the
files are theirs. They contain papers, documents letters and
emails. The latter are the most damaging and contain blunt information
about the degree of manipulation of climate science in general
and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in particular.
Climate science hijacked and corrupted by this small group of
scientists Dominant names involved are ones I have followed throughout
my career including, Phil Jones, Benjamin Santer, Michael Mann,
Kevin Trenberth, Jonathan Overpeck, Ken Briffa and Tom Wigley.
I have watched climate science hijacked and corrupted by this
small group of scientists. This small, elite, community was named
by Professor Wegman in his report to the National Academy of

- ECONOMIC CRISIS MAKES EUROPE THE RICHEST REGION IN THE WORLD,
STUDY SAYS
- EuObserver.com/9/28672 - Europe has emerged as the richest
region in the world, pushing North America, where wealth has
declined by more than 20 percent due to the economic crisis,
off the top spot, a study has shown. The world's richest also
feel the recession biting, especially in North America, where
the financial crisis first unfolded a year ago, reveals a survey
on global wealth carried out by the Boston Consulting Group,
a global management consulting firm. North America's wealth,
measured in assets under management, plummeted by 21.8 percent,
the steepest decline in the world. A lesser fall was registered
in Europe, where assets shrunk by 5.8 percent compared to last
year, down to €22.2 trillion – a quarter of the globe's
total wealth. The number of millionaire households worldwide
fell from 11 million to about 9 million - a drop of 17.8 percent.
The decline was steepest in North America and Europe, at 22 percent
in both regions, although the United States continues to have
the most millionaire households - nearly 4 million. The crisis
also narrowed the gap between the wealthy and non-wealthy. Wealth
owned by households with less than €90,000 in assets under
management increased by two percent in 2008, but it declined
in all other segments. Among households with more than €4.5
million in assets under management, wealth fell by 21.5 percent.
Switzerland remained the largest offshore financial centre, accounting
for more than €1.5 trillion or 28 percent of the world's
tax havens. But increased regulatory scrutiny is putting pressure
on offshores that have based their edge primarily on tax avoidance.
"Once their tax and legal advantages evaporate, so too will
their appeal," Peter Damisch, co-author of the report, said
in a press release. Some nontraditional offshore centres - including
several outside Europe - remain poised for growth. Singapore
and Hong Kong, in particular, will continue to benefit from their
proximity to other Asian countries, where wealth is expected
to stage a faster recovery. The wealth management industry has
weathered the storm better than most other financial-services
sectors, but still their profits fell by more than six percent
compared to last year. Stung by losses and scandals, clients
shifted their assets to basic, low-margin investments.
