MORE GREETINGS to all and the newcomers to this list. We'd like to introduce ourselves. George and Rita Williams founded this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years. We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth: out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at the time we were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years.
The Holy Spirit brought us to information about all the cults and the present development of the New World Order. We began bringing our research to you. Because all the research was already done, we decided to build a library within Cephas Ministry. Our newsletters are not designed to provoke anger which is strictly prohibited in Scripture. It is to shed light on activities by those who would deceive those who are recorded in the Book of Life by devious methods and systematic plans.

We are Bible students and have left all worldly organizations. We attend church if the message is from the authorized KJV Bible. The focus of these newsletters is to prove why we had to leave the world system. We are called 'Watchmen on the Wall' which God always had during the Old / New Testament Times.
To understand what is happening, one has to know the Bible to compare notes.
The first section is about the church. The news about churches is unedited unless indicated by Ednotes. The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican I.
The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church and today's church doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word of God has undergone many changes to fit the progressive modes. Many new Bible tranlations have brought confusion. The Bible calls for a falling away from the truth before Jesus comes back for His Bride. The true believers are called 'Ekklesia.' Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the Bible is true from beginning to end.
The second section is about globalism where we bring your attention to the social, political and global trend, the so called democratizing what is left of the world. This is a deception since the underlying new world global government is developed by implementing sustainable development. The Bible prophesies that there will be ten kings (ten horns), each king (horn) will receive a region of the world as a reward for work well done for the Antichrist. This is the reason for the present development of NAU (The North American Union) as well as the war in the Middle East. It again proves that we are moving to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied in the Bible. The end result will not be Democracy but a form of Fascist Communism (Public/Private Corporations enslaving mankind).
The third section compliments End Time teachings because Israel is the time piece of the Biblical Prophecy. 1948 was the beginning of the figtree representing Israel, coming back to life. Israel was allowed to return to its land. Israel is the rock upon which the world stumbles and crumbles. We watch and visit Israel for signs which point to the Tribulation to confirm that we are moving into that space of time.

I would respectfully like to inform you that your posting regarding Freemasonry being a religion is about as wrong as a wrong thing can be. It is NOT a religion. It is NOT a cult. It is NOT a secret society. It is a universal fraternal brotherhood of men who seek to better themselves in order to be more useful to society. A Freemason can follow whatever religion he chooses. Christianity seems to be so arrogant as to think Freemasonry is some sort of threat to it or preaches some sort of alternative doctrine. There is NO Masonic priesthood. There is no Masonic doctrine. religion and politics are taboo subjects in Lodges. We welcome men of good character with a willingness to be useful from any class, creed, religion or ethnic background. Many Masons are devout Christians. We have members who are high ranking in their respective churches. Encouragement to attend church stems from the fact that, at least here, we are historically and culturally a "christian" country. It equally means encouragement to follow whichever religion - if any - a Mason subscribes to. The stonemasons tools, symbols and lexicon are used allegorically in our personal development of men to make them better members of society, not in any sort of religious ritual. And charity to those less fortunate around us is fundamental to us.
Also your article about the Mason's Apron is incorrect. Certainly in Irish Freemasonry (third oldest constitution) a Master Mason is not presented with a pure white lambskin apron. This is presented to an Entered Apprentice. A master Mason is presented with a particularly decorated apron. Neither is the white apron for burial so it may be presented to the Great White Throne. There is no such doctrine. When we speak of The Great Architect we speak not os a specific God, like the Christian God, but of the God held divine by any and all Freemason's and of the Supreme Being who shaped the universe, in whichever form any individual Freemason's happens to believe in this. Belief in a Supreme Being is fundamental to Freemasonry. Use of the Bible in Lodges in "christian" countries stems from cultural traditions. In Lodges in Islamic nations, the Koran is used in this way, for example. Should an Islamic Mason visit my Lodge I would be obliged to have a copy of his holy book present.
Your inaccurate articles give uninformed people the wrong idea about us and portray you as simply seeking to denounce that which you do not understand. We are not in "competition" with ANY religion yet it seems Christianity believes we are. Dear MB,
I truly appreciate your response to the authors who wrote the articles about Freemasonry. Although I am a woman, I was personally involved for many years. I praise God He took me through the ranks to show me first hand what is going on. God finally confronted me personally that I needed the Holy Spirit to go to Heaven and the Holy Spirit could not live in my body until I left all worldly organizations. To get the Holy Spirit I needed to be justified by the Death of God's only begotten Son Jesus Christ, Who laid down His life by allowing Anti-Christians to plunge a sword into His side so the blood would rush down to the ground and take His life. This was the only sacrifice that would satisfy God for our sins. Our good deeds are dung to God. Those who receive the Holy Spirit by accepting Jesus Christ rather than Lucifer for their savior will be the only ones allowed in Heaven because Jesus Christ is the way to the truth and the life. All others will be thrown into the lake of fire with Satan and his demons. God forgave me after many years of unwittingly believing Lucifer rather than the Word of God. The Christian God is a God of three persons who are ONE. God of the Old Testament became Jesus Christ in the New Testament and believers received the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus after Jesus returned to His Father in Heaven and are now His Body. God is a triune God all the other so called gods are monotheistic. They have no resurrected prophets or Saviors. Don't be a fool and let men rob you of eternal life in Heaven. Satan has the power to deceive all mankind if it were not for the Holy Spirit. He is the Holy Spirit of truth. Without Him we cannot understand the Bible. So please in God's name go to the WORD of God and read it and get saved for evermore. There is nothing, I mean nothing, worth losing out on eternal life with our creator. Just think what it would be like to be in the presence of God who created everything. It is awesome and really worth considering.

Do you believe me yet? "Mom and dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Also under this bill, boys are allowed to use girls' restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose. Also in the news today is a story about Mitt Romney's attempts to woo the Christian vote. My friend, I have been writing every day for 97+ months now telling you how bold satan is. I don't know if you have seen the latest fund-raising effort by Planned Parenthood, the organization that counsels women to kill their unborn babies. It is a $15 tee shirt that says, "I had an abortion." Last fall, Ms. Magazine actually had an article, "We Had Abortions," accompanied by the names of thousands of women nationwide who signed a petition making that declaration. Even a few years ago, people would have never been bold enough to proclaim to the world that they killed their baby. Sin no longer has any shame.
As I shared with you last year, there is now a new 24-hour-cable network called LOGO. It is owned by Viacom that also owns CBS, CW (where the Liveprayer TV late night program used to be on), MTV, VH-1, many other cable networks, as well as a movie studio, publishing houses, and a wide of array of international media holdings. LOGO has programming 24/7 geared towards the gay and lesbian community. Just a few years ago, people knew homosexuality was wrong and an abomination to God. Sin no longer has any shame.
We are living in a day and time when sin no longer has any shame. Those who call sin for what God calls it are mocked, laughed at, labeled intolerant, and dismissed as ignorant. The tide has now sufficiently turned that we are living in a time when it is CRIMINAL in some places to speak out against what God says is sin. Already there are incredible hurdles to take the truth of God's Word into the secular marketplace.
People are told they will be fired for sharing their faith at work. We are asked in many social settings to NOT talk about our faith. Getting the most ungodly content that destroys lives out to the masses via secular media and advertising is no problem. However, trying to take the message of Christ and the truth of God's Word to the masses using those same secular vehicles is almost impossible. It will soon be CRIMINAL.
You see my friend, SIN CANNOT STAND IN THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH! The truth of God's Word exposes sin for the lie that it is. That is why those who choose sin do their best to silence those proclaiming the truth of God's Word. Today's anchor verse tells us that there will come a day when they "exchange the truth for a lie." That is exactly what we are seeing unfold before our very eyes today.

Twenty years ago we were holding our heads down in shame as we endured the ugly PTL scandal—which added new phrases to our national vocabulary such as “air conditioned dog house” and “gold-plated faucets.” Televangelist Jim Bakker went to prison, Jimmy Swaggart’s Bible college collapsed and many disillusioned people lost faith in evangelical ministries because donor funds were misused. Hopefully we learned some important lessons from that debacle. Or did we? I don’t know about you, but I’m having flashbacks from 1987. It was déjà vu all over again when one of the country’s top Pentecostal colleges was accused of serious ethical and financial wrongdoing last week. In a lawsuit filed by three professors from Oral Roberts University (ORU), school officials, including its president, Richard Roberts, were accused of misusing donor funds and violating IRS tax codes. The suit triggered an uproar in Tulsa, Okla., where ORU’s 5,300 students, along with alumni, faculty and community leaders, are now forced to take sides while the school’s reputation hangs in the balance. “Hopefully things will cool off so that responsible adults can sort through the mess, throw out any false accusations, correct any wrongs and preserve an institution that has served the cause of Christ since it was founded in 1963.” The professors who filed the suit say they took legal action because ORU’s board of regents would not listen to their grievances. But in a chapel service held on Oct. 3, Roberts confidently told students that the lawsuit is about “intimidation, blackmail and extortion.” Roberts and his wife, Lindsay, then went on CNN’s Larry King Live on Oct. 9 to deny all wrongdoing—and claimed that most of allegations were based on a list of rumors that Lindsay’s sister was asked to compile. (AP) - Twenty years ago, televangelist Oral Roberts said he was reading a spy novel when God appeared to him and told him to raise $8 million for Roberts' university, or else he would be "called home." Now, his son, Oral Roberts University President Richard Roberts, says God is speaking again, telling him to deny lurid allegations in a lawsuit that threatens to engulf this 44-year-old Bible Belt college in scandal. Richard Roberts is accused of illegal involvement in a local political campaign and lavish spending at donors' expense, including numerous home remodeling projects, use of the university jet for his daughter's senior trip to the Bahamas, and a red Mercedes convertible and a Lexus SUV for his wife, Lindsay. At a chapel service this week on the 5,300-student campus known for its 60-foot-tall bronze sculpture of praying hands, Roberts said God told him: "We live in a litigious society. Anyone can get mad and file a lawsuit against another person whether they have a legitimate case or not. This lawsuit ... is about intimidation, blackmail and extortion." San Antonio televangelist John Hagee, a member of the ORU board of regents, said the university's executive board "is conducting a full and thorough investigation." Colleagues fear for the reputation of the university and the future of the Roberts' ministry, which grew from Southern tent revivals to one of the most successful evangelical empires in the country, hauling in tens of millions of dollars in contributions a year. The university reported nearly $76 million in revenue in 2005, according to the IRS. Oral Roberts is 89 and lives in California.
The allegations are contained in a lawsuit filed Tuesday by three former professors. They sued ORU and Roberts, alleging they were wrongfully dismissed after reporting the school's involvement in a local political race. Richard Roberts, according to the suit, asked a professor in 2005 to use his students and university resources to aid a county commissioner's bid for Tulsa mayor. Such involvement would violate state and federal law because of the university's nonprofit status. Up to 50 students are alleged to have worked on the campaign.

Within Pentecostal circles in the early 1900s and beyond, “Azusa Street” became a catch phrase describing what some regarded as a powerhouse move of God. Now, nearly a century later, recent events at an Assembly of God church in Florida’s panhandle are receiving similar fanfare. William F. Leach, superintendent for the Michigan district of the Assemblies, says: “On April 9, 1906, it happened at the Azusa Street Mission ushering in the modern day Pentecostal Movement. On Father’s Day of 1995, a sovereign move of God’s Spirit began in Pensacola, Florida at Brownsville Assembly of God.”

2 Praise for it has even been proclaimed from the very top of the denomination that represents the largest body of Pentecostals. The Reverend Thomas E. The second key player in Pensacola is the Reverend Stephen Hill who is ordained as a Missionary Evangelist with the Assemblies of God. He has held crusades and is responsible for church planting in South America, Spain, Russia and other places on the foreign field. Even though encounters with the microscopic bug are extraordinarily rare, it's killed six boys and young men this year. The spike in cases has health officials concerned, and they are predicting more cases in the future." This is definitely something we need to track," said Michael Beach, a specialist in recreational waterborne illnesses for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. "This is a heat-loving amoeba. As water temperatures go up, it does better," Beach said. "In future decades, as temperatures rise, we'd expect to see more cases."
According to the CDC, the amoeba called Naegleria fowleri (nuh-GLEER-ee-uh FOWL'-erh-eye) killed 23 people in the United States, from 1995 to 2004. This year health officials noticed a spike with six cases -- three in Florida, two in Texas and one in Arizona. The CDC knows of only several hundred cases worldwide since its discovery in Australia in the 1960s. In Arizona, David Evans said nobody knew his son, Aaron, was infected with the amoeba until after the 14-year-old died on Sept. 17. MORNING STAR MINISTRIES INITIAL APPROVAL FOR TOWER DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

Founder and Director Rick Joyner said MorningStar Ministries will have financing ahead of the six month deadline to turn the uncompleted 20-story tower into a senior citizens’ resort. “I understand and appreciate the questions, especially financial feasibility,” Joyner said. “We will hit those requirements ahead of schedule. We are the ones everyone wants to lend to right now.” Joyner has yet to say how much money the project will require. York County’s tallest building was scheduled to be demolished earlier this year, and if this development agreement is breached, it would be razed. The building was started in the 1980s, and nothing has been done to it since evangelist Jim Bakker left in disgrace in 1988. If financing isn’t secured in six months from the site plan approval and if plans aren’t approved by the International Code Council, the agreement calls for the tower to be torn down, York County Planning Director Susan Britt said. Other minor details also could result in the building being destroyed. County employees worked since January to create the development agreement with the nonprofit organization. The five-year development agreement on the 52-acre former Heritage USA property can be extended with council’s approval, Britt said.

SAMOA'S COUNCIL OF CHURCHES UPSET BY FROM SCIENTOLOGISTS Radio New Zealand International, New Zealand October. 2, 2007 - www.rnzi.com - The chairman of the Council of Churches in Samoa, the Reverend Oka Fau'olo, has dismissed reports saying the Curch Concil is supporting a goodwill visit by Scientology representatives currently in the country. The chairman says there is no need for Scientology ministers to come through the council in order to provide disaster training and seminars for the public because there are other suitable organizations such as the local medical association.
Reverend Fau'olo's comments were in response to a media statement issued by Scientology representatives last week who said the government and the council of churches have supported their presence in Samoa. The chairman says Scientology is a secular organization and he warns the public to be very cautious about what they will teach.

One day in July 2005, a pair of pants that had fit me pretty well in the past felt unusually tight. I realized my stomach had swollen and looked like I was ready to give birth. I was in pain from head to toe and was unable to eat. After losing 6 kilograms (more than 13 pounds) in a week, I went to see a doctor on August 5 and was stunned when I heard the diagnosis. "It's ovarian cancer. The cancer is over 5,000; it's really high."
Repenting of the past I took a leave of absence from work and underwent an operation. Cancer had spread throughout the peritoneum that it was not removable and the doctor said his only recommendation was chemotherapy. Without too much to gain, I left the hospital in a few days. While I was staying at home, I began reading the Bible from Genesis and examining myself to see why I became subject to such trials and what sins I had still remaining in me. Although I'd been a Christian since childhood, God reminded me of how I had lived a self-centered life and how I'd been unable to be at peace with my husband as I had to juggle among working, raising children, and doing house chores. When I repented of each sin, God filled me with love and peace. Receiving prayer from Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee I had been familiar with Ida Manmin Church and its Pastor Rev. Seung-gil Ryu. I had also been given Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's testimonial memoir and received God's grace through his crusades, upon hearing about my cancer, Rev. Ryu advised me to receive prayer from Rev. Dr. Lee. So I decided to visit Manmin Joong-ang Church in Korea in October 2005 and ask Rev. Dr. Lee for his prayer. My family, who had no faith, was concerned. Yet, I had the faith by which I believed I could be healed and after preparing an offering and with prayer the way General Naaman had done, I boarded the plane for Korea.
Dramatic drop in the cancer level When I arrived at the Church for the Friday All-night Service on October 7, 2005, the sights of the massive sanctuary and the Spirit-filled faces of brothers and sisters made me feel like I was in heaven. When I met with Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee for his prayer alongside the rest of the group from Japan, I received teeming grace from his gentleness and humble heart. Dr. Lee prayed for me, I felt my stomach beginning to heat up and became certain that I had just received God's healing. When I returned to Japan, I went to the hospital for another exam and the cancer that had been over 5,000 had incredibly dropped below 100. After experiencing God's grace firsthand, I joined and started attending Ida Manmin Church. One day, I felt my body heat up twice and I could feel in my heart that Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee was praying for me at those moments. "Everything's normal now." As I was faithful to my God-given duties at the church and marched onward in Christ, my heart was always at peace and overflowing with joy. My condition also improved; about six months later, I regained all the weight I had lost. I strove to recompense for God's grace as I served in the choir and in serving meals on Sundays. When I went back to the hospital for a regular physical on March 2, 2006, I learned that everything was "normal." Hallelujah! On top of this, God has blessed the faith of my 15-year-old daughter and her grandfather to grow while I serve Him today as assistant mission leader of the 1 Women's Mission. Whenever I hear the Senior Pastor's message of life, in gratitude I begin shedding tears. I am going to do everything I can to spread the news of the Living God and the works of His power. I give thank and glory to God who has healed me and I also thank Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, Rev. Seung-gil Ryu, and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ at Ida Manmin.

September 25, 2007 - 1. Our teammate Nader shared the following story (about which he recently learned) at our last Team Meeting: "A" was an Iranian refugee who came to the Lord in Athens several years ago, and began to develop his walk with the Lord. He had been a drug addict and the Lord completely delivered him. About 4 years ago, his wife told him that if he didn't return to Iran she was going to divorce him. So he returned. Some time after returning he led his wife and kids to the Lord. Then his parents and siblings. Then his wife's parents and siblings. They started meeting in his home for worship and Bible studies. Soon, men in police uniforms with I.D. papers were showing up during these house meetings and severly beating "A". These beatings actually began to draw the attention of the neighbors who asked "A" why they were doing this to him. This gave him the opportunity to share Jesus with his neighbors, who started coming to Christ and joined the home fellowship! One of those neighbors was a policeman who investigated and found out that there was actually no order from the police department for beatings to be carried out against "A" and that the men coming to do this were imposters!
So this neighbor PROMISED PROTECTION PROVIDED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT against any further beatings. THERE ARE NOW FIVE HOME FELLOWSHIPS THAT "A" HAS STARTED IN HIS CITY SINCE LEAVING GREECE FOUR YEARS AGO! 2. Lord willing, it looks like we will be resurrecting next month The Nest ministry (temporary shelter/discipleship ministry) after over 2 years of "hibernation"!!! PTL!! Some Christians love contemporary music, while others are more comfortable with traditional hymns. Ultimately, however, it all boils down to expressing our love to our Lord, does it not? That said, I'd like to introduce our readers to Brazilian worship leader Davy Maia. I was introduced to him myself only last week...via a video feed on a large screen at our church. Prior to viewing the video, I had heard of Davy from a team who had just returned from Brazil on a mission trip. They couldn't say enough about the incredibly powerful move of the Holy Spirit that followed this man's gifting as he played his saxophone, both on stage and as he moved among the prostrate crowd, ministering to them on his instrument. SILENCE IS THE ONLY TRUE RELIGION - WHAT DO CHRISTIAN LEADERS THINK?
Oprah Show:On the October 5th Oprah show, Oprah's guest was the author of the best-selling book, Eat, Pray, Love. Elizabeth Gilbert's book is the story of how she left her husband and her life behind and found what she came to call "the only true religion": the silence. Her journey took her around the world, where she learned to meditate in an India ashram. Oprah, who openly resonates with the New Age and meditation techniques, said she is very excited to have Ms. Gilbert on her show. Calling it a "phenomenon" and "a life-changer," Oprah expresses her excitement for the book and the author. Gilbert explains that the first step in her journey was to go on an eating binge in Italy. "I would not have been able to physically do the yoga, the meditation, the hard rigor of spiritual work. So I went to Italy first and I ate my guts out for four months."
From Italy, Gilbert traveled to India where she learned to meditate: "There was something about that yoga path that really appealed to me--and you do that through silence and the discipline of meditation -- and I really wanted to go pursue that full out." "None of this works without stillness," Liz says. "One of the great teachings that I learned in India is that silence is the only true religion." During her time at the ashram, Gilbert had a meditative experience where she says "the scales fell from my eyes and the openings of the universe were shown to me." Oprah's promotion of Gilbert and her book will likely cause millions of women (and many men too) to go out and buy the book. And once again Oprah, who has become a prophet and an evangelist for the New Age message, will help lead so many over the cliff of spiritual lostness through meditation (i.e., the silence).
Is it any wonder why ministries like Lighthouse Trails show such concern when Christian leaders tell followers, You can't really know God without the silence. Different than finding a quiet place away from noise and distractions, the silence is referring to a stillness of the mind. Ray Yungen, author of A Time of Departing, says it is like putting the mind in neutral. Contemplatives say it is like tuning into another frequency. New Agers call it different things like a thin place, sacred space, ecstasy; whatever it is called, both New Agers and Christian leaders are telling us we must practice silence and stillness if we really want to know God. Standing 9 feet high with contemplative eyes, a hesitant smile, bare feet and wearing a simply tailored white robe, the Our Lady of America, the Immaculate Virgin, is the nation's first canonically approved icon.
"It's very rare that God gives us a grace like that," said Rita Marquis of Howell, who was waiting outside St. Veronica's Roman Catholic Church for the statue's 6:15 p.m arrival. "I attended Mass earlier in the day, but I wanted to be here when she arrives."
Firefighters from Jackson fire companies and members of the Msg. John F. Baldwin Assembly Knights of Columbus escorted the statue through the church's parking lot, off the bed of the firetruck and into the church.
The statue is based on apparitions of the Virgin Mother to Sister Mary Ephrem (Mildred) Neuzil, who was a member of the Precious Blood of Sisters, Ohio, from 1933 to 1979. In 1979 she entered Contemplative of the Indwelling Trinity where she remained until her death in 2000, Anita Marovich of Howell said.
On Sept. 25, 1956, the Virgin Mother first appeared to Ephrem, who had been having "mystical spiritual experiences" since 1938, said Marovich, a 20-year St. Veronica's parishioner who grew up in New Riegel, Ohio, near Ephrem." [Excerpts] - A muslim dentist made a woman wear Islamic dress as the price of accepting her as an NHS patient, it is alleged. Omer Butt is said to have told the patient that unless she wore a headscarf she would have to find another practice. It is claimed that the 31-year-old dentist asked to speak to the woman in private after she turned up for an appointment at his clinic in Bury. According to the charges, he questioned her on whether she was a Muslim and told her that if he was to treat her she would have to wear Islamic dress. He is also said to have read out a number of religious rules to her.
He then told his nurse to give the patient her own headscarf to wear, the accusation says. Mr Butt is the older brother of former Islamic extremist Hassan Butt, who once declared he had 'no problem' with terror attacks on Britain and who said that September 11 "served the pleasure of Allah". He has since recanted and now calls for all Muslims to abandon violence. The dentist also featured in immigration hearings involving an asylum seeker suspected of providing a safe house for Kamel Bourgass, an Algerian terrorist jailed for life for stabbing PC Stephen Oake to death in Manchester in 2003. Immigrants over 65 can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than my mom gets for Social Security, and she worked from 1944 till 2004, only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there is a "catch 22". It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also obtain an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00 per month. This compares very well to a single pensioner who -- after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years -- can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees! Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470.00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years. Tucker Jr. - Leaders of Bilderberg have gathered the appropriate flunkies at the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, about 50 miles outside Quebec, to accomplish a North American Union without congressional action. The Aug. 20-21 session of the unknown Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) is struggling to define its goal of a borderless union of the United States, Mexico and Canada as something Americans will welcome, after it has been accomplished.
On the agenda is a report by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), which is being translated into Spanish and French so all three governments can celebrate it together. The report explains how “hemispheric integration” will be a blessing for all and not a surrender of sovereignty. It is to be presented to the three governments in September.
The trustees of CSIS who are attending this closed meeting include Henry Kissinger, Bilderberg and Trilateral; Zbigniew Brzezinski, Trilateral; and Harold Brown, former defense secretary and Trilateral. Also participating is Richard Armitage, Bilderberg. Other Bilderberg-Trilateralists may be attending but have not been identified.
The “North American Future 2025 Project” report stresses “economic integration” and “labor mobility.” It calls for the “international migration of labor” and “international movement not only of goods and capital, but also of people.” It stresses the “free flow of people across national borders.” It calls for action to “integrate governments.” The three nations are to work on “harmonizing legislation” and regulations.

The Law of the Sea treaty creates a tribunal and various bodies, including dispute resolution or arbitral panels, to resolve conflicts which may arise. Major parts of the treaty mandate international regulation of U.S. economic and industrial activities on land. Greenhouse gases, for example, could be viewed under the terms of the treaty as contributing to pollution of the oceans.
Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte told the Senate committee that the U.N. body established by the treaty has ³no jurisdiction over marine pollution disputes involving land-based sources.² He said, ³that¹s just not covered by the treaty.² Negroponte¹s sidekick, State Department Legal Adviser John B. Bellinger III, said, ³It clearly does not allow regulation over land-based pollution sources. That would stop at the water¹s edge.² But Vitter shot back, ³Šwhy is there a section entitled pollution from land-based sources?² Not only is there a section by that name, Vitter pointed out, but there is a section on enforcement. The section is Article 207, ³Pollution from land-based sources.² Anybody can look it up. But apparently our top officials and lawyers have not. 3Com Draws Buyout Interest - by Dana Cimilluca - July 17, 2007 - The consolidation wave that is sweeping the telecom-equipment sector may wash over 3Com. Deal Journal has learned that the company has in the past couple months been approached by possible buyers, including private-equity firms Silver Lake Partners and Bain Capital. 3Com and its bankers at Goldman Sachs Group don’t appear to be rushing to do a deal, and it is unclear what price the buyout group was willing to offer. Another company that may be interested in 3Com is Nortel Networks, people familiar with the matter said. ... Whether or not a buyout of 3Com is on the horizon, the Marlborough, Mass., company is definitely in deal-making mode. Late last year, 3Com agreed to buy Huawei Technologies out of their Chinese joint venture for $882 million. 3Com announced last month that it would sell shares in its Tipping Point unit, which provides network security gear, to the public.
A buyout of 3Com — at the right price — would likely be music to the ears of investors including Citadel Investment Group, which has taken a stake of nearly 10% stake in 3Com and has agitated for change. The story of 3Com in the past 10 years is one of missed opportunities, as this story from Barron’s in May points out. The stock trades at $4.29, a far cry from the high of $80 reached in 2000, though it is up 4.6% for the year. 3Com, which once had promise similar to Cisco’s but made some ill-conceived bets on consumer electronics, has a market value of $1.7 billion. 3COM SUES 3COM OVER 3COM BUYOUT By Austin Modine - 10 Oct 2007 - Cheapskateboard - The $2.2bn sale of networking gear vendor 3Com has already hit litigious waters, courtesy its own shareholders. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, 3Com disclosed that several class action lawsuits have been filed since September to block the sale to private equity firm Bain capital Partners and Huawei Technologies (pronounced Hua-h...hwwo - ah, skip it). The shareholders contend the $2.2bn buyout price is "insufficient," that directors "breached their fiduciary duties" by agreeing to the figure, and Bain Capital and Huawei aided and abetted the alleged breaches. 3Com's proposed buyout was announced late last month, and offers shareholders a 44 per cent premium on the company's $3.68 share price before the news hit. Such lawsuits are not altogether uncommon for corporate buyouts, used as a tool to grab more cash out of the deal - although the historical success of the tactic is somewhat questionable. 3Com was unavailable for comment as of this publication, but promises to "vigorously defend these suits" in its SEC filing. WSTM - Katrina Smith - October 16, 2007 - Congressman Jim Walsh today called on Congress to act immediately to permanently extend the current Internet tax moratorium set to expire on November 1, 2007. "The Internet is growing in importance as a resource for businesses and consumers today," said Walsh. "In the last twenty years, it has revolutionized the way we communicate, the way our children learn, and the way we conduct business. Taxing Internet access will have a detrimental impact upon our economy and our quality of life, and Congressional leadership should quickly put forward a bill that permanently bans this detrimental tax." According to a February-March 2007 survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, an initiative of the Pew Research Center, 71% of American adults regularly use the Internet, and usage by adults between the ages of 18 and 29 is as high as 87%. .. If Congress allows the tax moratorium to expire on November 1st, Americans could face taxes of up to 20% for simply accessing the Internet. On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee passed a temporary short-term extension of the moratorium, refusing to consider legislation with bipartisan support that would enact a permanent ban. Walsh is a co-sponsor of H.R. 743, the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act, which amends the Internet Tax Freedom Act to make permanent the ban on State taxation of Internet access and on multiple or discriminatory taxes on electronic commerce. Even though encounters with the microscopic bug are extraordinarily rare, it's killed six boys and young men this year. The spike in cases has health officials concerned, and they are predicting more cases in the future. "This is definitely something we need to track," said Michael Beach, a specialist in recreational waterborne illnesses for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. "This is a heat-loving amoeba. As water temperatures go up, it does better," Beach said. "In future decades, as temperatures rise, we'd expect to see more cases." According to the CDC, the amoeba called Naegleria fowleri (nuh-GLEER-ee-uh FOWL'-erh-eye) killed 23 people in the United States, from 1995 to 2004. This year health officials noticed a spike with six cases -- three in Florida, two in Texas and one in Arizona. The CDC knows of only several hundred cases worldwide since its discovery in Australia in the 1960s. In Arizona, David Evans said nobody knew his son, Aaron, was infected with the amoeba until after the 14-year-old died on Sept. 17. Maybe an Italian one? Or how about Canadian? Don't be so surprised. As the value of the dollar plummets, American real estate looks more and more attractive to overseas investors. Foreigners buying property -- both residential and commercial -- in the United States is nothing new. But in recent months, as the exchange rate has swung further in their favor, Irish, British, Italian and even Canadian investors have started to gobble up more land here.
"This has been a record year for acquisitions by offshore investors," said Dan Fasulo, managing director of Real Capital Analytics, which tracks such transactions. Through the first three-fourths of the year, there has been $31 billion in commercial real estate purchases by foreigners here, according to Fasulo. Compare that to $23 billion in all of 2006. And Fasulo added: the fourth quarter is usually the most active. Americans have seen foreigners snag key properties in the past.

SENATE PANEL OKAYS $850 BILLION DEBT INCREASE Reuters - 12 September 2007 - Washington - The Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday approved an $850 billion increase in U.S. borrowing authority to $9.815 trillion in order to avoid a default as the government nears its credit limit of $8.965 trillion. The committee approved the bill on a voice vote and it clears the way for the full Senate to take action most likely by early October. As of last Friday, the federal debt stood at $8.923 trillion and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson has been urging Congress to act quickly to avoid unnerving financial markets that are already jittery over rising mortgage foreclosures. The amount approved by the finance panel would allow the government to continue borrowing into 2009, well after next year's presidential and congressional elections. Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, a Montana Democrat expressed concern that the debt issue could "become a political football" during next year's campaigns. "The increase of $850 billion would be the third largest debt limit increase in U.S. history," Baucus said. The U.S. House of Representatives already approved the credit increase when it passed the 2008 budget blueprint earlier this year. CHIP IMPLANTS LEAD TO CANCER AND TUMORS By tauruschild8927 - Posted on September 11th, 2007 - Well, Chips have been implanted in animals all across the globe and these animals like rats and mice are the test dummies so to speak. I think that implanting the chips in the first place is wrong and the fact that animals are forming cancer should stop the process. From 1996 to 2006, a handful of studies reported incidences of tumors in lab mice and rats that had been implanted with chips. Specifically, malignant tumors (sarcomas) developed near and around the chips, in some cases completely enveloping them. Sydney Lasry, a systems engineer, took a second job three years ago so he could afford to buy a $400,000 home in Severn, Md. His mortgage payment hasn't risen, but his property taxes have jumped by $1,000 since then, to $3,200 a year, and his home insurance has soared by $500, to $1,100.
Now, housing costs are devouring 70% of his gross income. And Lasry, 45, who's working as much overtime as he can, fears he won't be able to keep up. "People see me living in this nice house" but when Lasry eats out, "I eat at McDonald's," he says. Look around. Thirty-seven percent of U.S. homeowners with mortgages are spending 30% or more of their before-tax income on housing - the threshold where the government says a home becomes unaffordable - according to 2006 Census data being released Wednesday. This compares with 27% in 2000, before the real estate boom drove the nation's median home price up more than 50%.. For some, the financial burden is far worse: 14% of homeowners with mortgages - more than 7 million households - shell out at least half their gross monthly income to cover their home loan, property taxes, insurance and utilities, up from 10% in 2000. The new figures provide a striking look at how wages and salaries have failed to keep up with surging home prices. "For a few months early this year, I was working a second job at Pizza Hut to pay off credit cards," said Douglas Plant, 21, a shop fabrication coordinator in Houston. "But I gave that up. It was just too hard." That's because Plant, who bought his first home in December, is also getting his bachelor's degree in business at night at the University of Houston. Housing costs eat up slightly more than half his income. He, his wife and two kids follow a "strict budget" to pay their bills.
What was most surprising to Rachel Drew, research analyst at the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, was a sharp rise in the number of financially strained homeowners from 2005 to 2006. ----- ABORTIONS WITHOUT A DOCTOR'S APPROVAL COULD SOON BE HERE The Independent - Published: 02 September 2007 - By Marie Woolf - MPs are moving to make it easier and quicker for women to get abortions, without the prior approval of a doctor and, in some cases, with the procedure being carried out by a nurse. MPs from all parties are to launch a campaign to modernise abortion law. They want to allow women to have early abortions on an "informed consent" basis and to allow trained nurses and midwives to carry out early abortions for the first time. They also want to expand the number of clinics offering early abortions so that women are no longer restricted to using centres officially licensed to carry out terminations. But the proposed changes are expected to infuriate pro-life groups and the Catholic Church. Under the legal changes being discussed, early abortions would be obtainable without the consent of doctors, while those after 12 weeks would require only one doctor to approve, instead of the two at present.
The move will be backed by a cross-party coalition of MPs when the Human Tissue and Embryo Bill comes before the Commons and is expected to gain widespread support in Parliament. Those backing the amendments say that the changes are designed to reduce the number of late abortions and bring the law in line with new medical advances, including the use of abortion pills to terminate early pregnancies. Among the MPs backing the changes are Evan Harris, a former hospital doctor, and John Bercow, the Tory MP for Buckingham. The move is expected to gain widespread backing from Labour backbenchers and several senior figures, including the party's deputy leader, Harriet Harman. The Government is expected to allow a free vote and is unlikely to block the moves to make it easier to obtain early abortions.
The moves are also backed by the British Medical Association's Medical Ethics Committee, which wants the 1967 Abortion Act modernised so that in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy women would not require the consent of doctors to have an abortion. Burlington, Vermont - Earlier this year, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), responding to a Freedom of Information Act request, made public its 2002 report on the crash of Flight 77 (the flight that allegedly struck the Pentagon on 9/11/2001), including a flight path computer animation derived from data captured by the Flight Data Recorder. This official NTSB material indicates that Flight 77 could not have caused the damage at the Pentagon, and that it flew over the Pentagon rather than striking it. Credible witnesses, including two Pentagon police officers (who when sharing their eyewitness accounts didn’t realize that these accounts contradict the official story), are absolutely certain that the 757 they saw approaching the Pentagon was on the path indicated by the NTSB data (north of the Citgo station near the Pentagon), not the path in the official story (south of the Citgo station and in line with damaged light poles). The NTSB refuses to comment on this problem. Nearly six years after 9/11, there has been no official explanation of the sudden, free-fall collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 into its own footprint at 5:20 p.m. on 9/11. WASHINGTON - The Bush administration said Monday the only way to permanently fix Social Security is through some combination of benefit cuts and tax increases. That was one of the key findings in a new paper on Social Security released by the Treasury Department in an effort to achieve common ground on the politically explosive issue. "Social Security can be made permanently solvent only by reducing the present value of scheduled benefits and/or increasing the present value of scheduled tax increases," the paper said. The Treasury paper said that while other changes to the giant benefit program might be desirable "only these changes can restore solvency permanently."
Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, President Bush's point person on Social Security reform, said he had had a number of discussions with members of Congress from both parties. Continued:

Alan Greenspan and Paul Volker, both former Federal Reserve Chairmen, along with current chairman Ben Bernanke, the Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Alistair Darling, Exchequer of the Treasury in England have been out in unison since last Friday announcing over and over that the economy is going to implode, there is going to be serious inflation, housing is going to go down between ten and thirty percent, and the Dollar is going to be replaced with the Euro.
