like to introduce ourselves. George and Rita Williams founded
this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years.
We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking
out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth:
out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at the time we
were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years.
- The Holy Spirit brought us to information about all the cults
and the present development of the New World Order. We began
bringing our research to you. Because all the research was already
done, we decided to build a library within Cephas Ministry. Our
newsletters are not designed to provoke
anger which is strictly prohibited in Scripture. It is to shed
light on activities by those who would deceive those who are
recorded in the Book of Life by devious methods and systematic
plans.

The focus of these newsletters is to prove why we had to leave
the world system. We are called 'Watchmen on the Wall' which
God always had during the Old / New Testament Times.

- The first section is about the church.
The news about churches is unedited unless indicated by Ednotes.
The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
and today's church doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word
of God has undergone many changes to fit the progressive modes.
Many new Bible tranlations have brought confusion. The Bible
calls for a falling away from the truth before
Jesus comes back for His Bride. The true believers are called
'Ekklesia.' Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the
Bible is true from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, the so called democratizing what is left of the world.
This is a deception since the underlying new world global government
is developed by implementing sustainable development. The
Bible prophesies that there will be ten kings (ten horns), each
king (horn) will receive a region of the world as a reward for
work well done for the Antichrist. This is the reason for the
present development of NAU (The North American Union) as well
as the war in the Middle East. It again proves that we are moving
to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied in the Bible.
The end result will not be Democracy but a form of Fascist Communism
(Public/Private Corporations enslaving mankind).
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings because Israel is the time piece of the Biblical Prophecy.
1948 was the beginning of the figtree representing Israel, coming
back to life. Israel was allowed to return to its land. Israel
is the rock upon which the world stumbles and crumbles. We watch
and visit Israel for signs which point to the Tribulation to
confirm that we are moving into that space of time.

my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth
of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. He hath
laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean
bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of
her youth. The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off
from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers,
mourn. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is

- THE RAPTURE {CATCHING-AWAY} OF BELIEVERS - MEANING OF THE
WORD "RAPTURE"
- By Brother Bob - The "Rapture" is the name given
to a Biblically revealed event in which Jesus Christ descends
from Heaven, accompanied by the spirits of all the saints who
have passed on prior to this event, and then the bodily remains
of these saints are transported from the earth to meet the Lord
and be rejoined with their corresponding spirits in the air.
Immediately after this, all Christians alive on the earth are
simultaneously transported to meet the Lord and those who have
preceded them in the air. All are transformed into immortal bodies
like Jesus' body, referred to as the "resurrection body",
and then the resurrected ones and Jesus return to Heaven.
The word "Rapture", when used in Biblical terms, is
an English word used in place of the Latin word raeptius, which
is taken from the Vulgate version of the BIble, which in turn
is a translation of the Koine Greek word harpazo, found in the
early Greek New Testament manuscripts of 1 Thessalonians 4:17.
In many modern English translations of the Bible, harpazo is
translated; "caught up", or "taken away".
The meaning of "harpazo"[ har-pad'-zo Koine Greek;]
is= "forcibly snatched away", "taken for oneself".
Christians, alive and dead, are therefore "forcibly snatched
away" by Jesus at some time known only to God the Father,
and taken to Heaven to be with Jesus forever. The Bible then
says, "Comfort one another with these words. (1 Thess 4:18
KJV).

An unusual sight greeted Jerusalem police as they entered one
of Christianity’s holiest  sites
Sunday morning: dozens of monks punching and kicking each other
in a massive brawl. Monks from the Greek Orthodox and Armenian
denominations were preparing for a ceremony at the Church of
the Holy Sepulcher in the Old City when a disagreement led to
a full-fledged fistfight. The fight began when Armenian clergy
were holding a procession to commemorate the finding of the cross
believed to have been used in the crucifixion of Jesus, according
to The Associated Press. The Greek members of the clergy wanted
one of their monks present, the AP reported, for fear that the
procession would undermine their claim to an ancient structure
built on what is believed to be the tomb of Jesus. The two sides
could not agree, and when the Armenians tried to begin the procession,
the Greek monks stepped in and the fighting began, the AP reported.
Officers were called to the scene to break up the brawl. They
detained two monks, one from each denomination, Rosenfeld said.
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem is thought to be
built on the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.
Rivalries between the different sects that share control of the
church often lead to tensions.

thousand people gathered outside the Capitol in Sacramento this
afternoon to rally for the legalization of same-sex marriages
just days after voters imposed a constitutional ban. The gathering
follows several similar events around the Bay Area and California.
Earlier today, more than 400 people gathered outside the distinctive
Mormon Temple in Oakland to protest the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints‘ support of Proposition 8. That gathering
prompted the Highway Patrol to shut down two Highway 13 ramps
to protect pedestrians. The ramps at Lincoln Avenue and Joaquin
Miller Road reopened around 2 p.m.
- And amid chants of “Stop Mormon hate” and “Enough
is enough,” many protesters worried that they had been complacent
before the Nov. 4 election. A previous protest outside the Mormon
Temple on Oct. 25 drew only about 50 people. “I don’t
think people thought it was going to pass,” said Carrie
Blanche, 52, an Alameda schoolteacher who got married Oct. 29.
In Southern California, about 1,000 gay-rights advocates gathered
outside the large Saddleback Church in Lake Forest (Orange County)
to protest the evangelical congregation’s involvement in
passing Proposition 8. An estimated 10,000 backers of gay and
lesbian marriage gathered Saturday in San Diego. The rallies
have been generally peaceful, with crowd members waving U.S.

down the voter-approved ban while others said they would push
for another statewide initiative.

- WHITE POWDER SENT TO MORMON TEMPLES IN UTAH, LA
- Associated Press - November 13, 2008 - LOS ANGELES - Letters
containing a suspicious white powder were sent Thursday to Mormon
temples in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City that were the sites
of protests against the church's support of California's gay
marriage ban. The temple in the Westwood area of Los Angeles
was evacuated before a hazardous materials crew determined the
envelope's contents were not toxic, said FBI spokesman Jason
Pack. The temple in downtown Salt Lake City, where the church
is based, received a similar envelope containing a white powder
that spilled onto a clerk's hand. The room was decontaminated
and the envelope taken by the FBI for testing. The clerk showed
no signs of illness, but the scare shut down a building at Temple
Square for more than an hour, said Scott Freitag, a spokesman
for the Salt Lake City Fire Department. None of the writing on
the envelope was threatening, and the church received no calls
or messages related to the package, Freitag said.
- Protests in recent days have targeted the Mormon church,
which encouraged its members to fight the recently passed amendment
banning gay marriage in California. Authorities are looking into
several theories on who sent the letters and why, Pack said.
Anthrax mailed as a white powder to Washington lawmakers and
media outlets killed five people and sickened 17 just weeks after
the attacks of September 11, 2001. Periodic hoaxes modeled on
the anthrax mailings have popped up since then but usually prove
harmless.

Barack Obama that the new president-elect has a God-given capacity
to handle any burdens he'll face as the nation's leader.
- Farrakhan added that Obama will be able to make positive
changes only with help from "God and people of goodwill,"
and he urged followers of the Chicago-based black nationalist
movement to do their part.
- "President-elect Obama has energized all segments of
the depressed, downtrodden, rejected and despised," he said
in a 90-minute speech at Mosque Maryam on the city's South Side.
"Now it is up to us to take the new energy that he has given
us ... and channel that energy into making ourselves better."
Dressed in intricately decorated red and gold robes and a matching
fez, the once-ailing 75-year-old leader spoke to more than 1,000
followers in an address called "America's New Beginning:
President-elect Barack Obama." Farrakhan, who said Obama
draws a "oneness of spirit" from all people, admitted
he stayed quiet about his support for Obama during the past few
months out of fear his words would harm the Illinois senator's
bid for the White House. In February, Farrakhan praised Obama,
calling him "the hope of the entire world that America will
change and be made better" at a Saviours' Day event in Chicago.
But Obama quickly distanced himself from Farrakhan, denouncing
the minister's support during a presidential debate with then-Democratic
rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Obama said he objected to
Farrakhan's past statements about Judaism, which many have considered
anti-Semitic. Nation of Islam officials have said Farrakhan's
comments are often taken out of context. On Sunday, Farrakhan
said Obama faced unfair scrutiny for his associations with the
Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's former pastor, who was shown making
fiery statements about the U.S. government in widely circulated

- REFORMATION DAY LOOKS AHEAD
Time CNN - Oct. 27, 1967 - On Oct. 29, Reformation Sunday, members
of ten Protestant churches in Albert Lea, Minn., will proceed
in a motorcade to the Roman Catholic Benedictine Abbey of St.
John's at Collegeville. There, leaders of the churches will hand
over the proceeds of a special collection as a contribution toward
completing a new Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research
at St. John's. The Protestant donors and Catholics will then
celebrate a joint worship service in the abbey church.
- Once an occasion for Protestants to recall the glories of
their heritage and the un-Christian follies of Romanism, Reformation
Sunday is becoming an ecumenical event that looks to the future
rather than the past. Across the world, this year's celebration—marking
the 450th anniversary of Martin Luther's posting of his 95 theses
at Wittenberg—is being shared in by Catholics as well as
Protestants. For both branches of Western Christianity, the great
Reformer is increasingly seen not as a symbol of past schism
but as a potential focus for unity to come. "Rapprochement
between Catholic and Protestant churches can come," says
Lutheran Theologian Jürgen Winterhager of Berlin, "not
despite but through the Reformation."

VATICAN CITY (AFP) - The Vatican's first-ever Catholic-Muslim
forum kicks off Tuesday, two years after  Pope

/ Getty - Pope Benedict XVI's mostly warm but sometimes chilly
relationship with the worldwide Jewish community may have just
hit a major ice patch. On Thursday, Benedict put his moral weight
(though not yet his signature) behind the cause for sainthood
for Pope Pius XII, the wartime Pontiff who many Jewish leaders
criticize for not having done enough to oppose the Holocaust.
One of the German Pope's many gestures of goodwill toward Jews
during his three-year papacy was to effectively suspend the internal
Vatican process that leads to sainthood for Pius, citing a need
for a "period of reflection." Now, however, Benedict
appears to have finished his own reflecting on the historical
virtues of the Italian Pope who reigned from 1939 to 1958. At
a special Mass on Thursday marking 50 years since Pius' death,
Benedict praised his wartime predecessor's actions to save Jews
and called on Catholics to "pray that the cause of his beatification
goes forward smoothly." Beatification is the final step
before canonization, when a Church figure becomes a saint. Thursday
coincidentally was also Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish
religious calendar.
At Thursday's Mass in Rome, Benedict lavished praise on Pius,
who was the Pope when the then young German first became a priest.
Like those who have actively campaigned for his beatification,
the Pope said that Pius used a few pointed public — but
mostly private — acts of diplomacy to try to prevent what
turned into the slaughter of 6 million European Jews. He cited
Pius' 1942 Christmas radio message. "With a voice broken
with emotion, he deplored the situation of 'hundreds of thousands
of persons who, for no fault of their own, only for reason of
nationality or ethnic roots, were destined for death or for steady

the sale of a new Scientology expose penned by a former member
of the church’s “elite paramilitary group.” The
British incarnation of the world’s most popular etailer
is no longer offering The Complex: An Insider Exposes the Covert
World of the Church of Scientology, a 318-page tome from John
Duignan, who spent 22 years inside the top secret organization.
In a recent post to an anti-Scientology discussion forum, an
Anonymous Brit says that after pre-ordering the book, he received
an email from Amazon announcing it had been “removed from
sale for legal reasons”. Amazon UK has yet to respond to
out request for comment. But the book - published on October
7 - is no longer listed on the site. A Google search reveals
it was available for sale as recently as October 23. For the
moment, The Complex is still available from UK booksellers WH
Smith and Waterstones. And it’s available on Amazon’s
US incarnation - though it’s listed as “out of stock”.
We’re also awaiting a response from Amazon US.

eight properties in Colorado. Two of the properties are near
Mancos in Montezuma County in southwest Colorado, another near
Crawford in Delta County and five near Westcliffe in Custer and
Fremont counties. CBS4’s Rick Sallinger has become the first
TV reporter allowed inside one of their compounds to see how
they live and what they are doing. He reports going through their
gate is like leaving one world and passing into another. It is
a place where some of man’s laws are at odds with what they
see as God’s laws; a collision of values that has led to
raids, arrests and seizure of children in other locations.

Responding to decades of pressure from the Anti-Defamation League,
the Australian government has announced it will ban all “illegal”
internet content produced in or entering Australia. Under ADL-orchestrated
Australian hate laws, it has already been unlawful to hold up
homosexuals, Jews and Muslims to “humiliation or intimidation"
in the public forum, including the internet. Incoming material
on the internet, however, has remained largely unregulated. The
government, projecting a comprehensive internet filter, originally
assured internet users that they could legally receive banned
content by contacting their providers and circumventing such
restrictions. Now the government says they can’t. All illegal
content, which should include everything from pornography to
political and religious speech violating Australia’s hate
laws, will be forbidden. It will be illegal to create or receive
communication which the government disapproves. Actually, according
to Colin Jacobs of Electronic Frontiers Australia, the National
Internet Filter would have little effect on such illegal internet
content as child pornography since it would not cover file-sharing
networks. We may conclude that politically incorrect speech would

ADL and its European arm INACH, the International Network Against
Cyber Hate, tirelessly work to find legal resources and technology
capable of ending criticism of homosexuality, Jews and Israel

can persuade governments to ban “hate speech” outright!

who chew on a dead gospel served-up in dead churches, by dead
pastors living out a dead faith. The stench of death is permeating
our society. How could this possibly be? America, has wandered
"out of the way of understanding." Make no mistake
about it; America is dying of spiritual starvation. We are the
victims of spiritual bulimia, willingly vomiting out all that
would nourish us.

many of you nervous as you cling to your "dead faith full
of dead works" believing that God is pleased with your apathy

In July 1994, the leadership of many churches in west London
received an invitation to attend a meeting at a certain church
in Acton, west London, which was a Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB)
church plant. The purpose of this meeting, the invitation letter
explained, was for people to hear about and experience for themselves
what was described as the "new move" of the Holy Spirit
happening at the Airport Vineyard Church, Toronto and being known
to some as the Toronto Blessing. The letter stated that various
members of HTB had recently returned from Toronto and wanted
to share all they had learnt there and then pass it on in ministry
afterwards.
- Several of us in leadership in my church, including myself,
attended. I remember at the time feeling very excited because,
if this was, as was being claimed, a new move of the Holy Spirit,
then I wanted to be part of it and to experience everything that
was on offer. Others in our party were a lot more careful and
cautious in their approach.

been villified by its Arab neighbors, Shimon Peres appealed to
Abdullah to maintain his leadership in the Arab world during
the difficult peace process. Minutes earlier, Abdullah said it
was "high time" the world learned the harsh lesson
of history &SHY; that differences between followers of different
religions and cultures "engendered intolerance, causing
devastating wars and considerable bloodshed without any sound
logical or ideological justification." Now why would the
King Of Saudi Arabia organize an interfaith conference at the
UN, declaring that all religions caused intolerance and bloodshed?
And why would Israel's mafia President applaud the King? Look
out Jerusalem! The roadblock has been lifted and you're about
to be the divided capital of the world's united "religion."
And while the ignorant Israelis fear that Jerusalem is about
to be divided for "peace," close to none understand
that Jerusalem is to be divided to create The World Parliament
Of Religions, naturally, For Peace. No Jerusalem run exclusively
by the Jews could ever fit the desired bill. Very shortly Israel
will accept the Saudi "peace" plan, which supposedly
will have full Arab backing, they think, followed by an anti-religious
religious Parliament in the new international entity of Jerusalem.
Working day and night organizing the plan is The Jerusalem Peace

last couple of weeks, there has been an increasing swirl of controversy
regarding Todd Bentley. I have had almost daily contact with
him, and he asked me to post the following: Todd Bentley asked
me to convey his appreciation for all the prayers, expressions
of love, and concern while he tries to navigate through this
present situation. He is grieved by the trouble and confusion
this has caused, especially to his friends, coworkers, and all
who have trusted him. He wants to make a clear statement about
it, acknowledging his responsibility in this and the mistakes
he made, but he feels that he should first meet with Pastor Bill
Johnson, who is out of the country and will not be available
for a couple more weeks. He asks that you would continue to pray
for him, and he thanks those who are willing to be patient. He
wants to do this right and not hastily or superficially.
- I would like to accept personal responsibility for counseling
Todd to wait until he has talked with Bill before trying to make
the “full disclosure” of his mistakes. This needs to
be done right and in a way that does not unnecessarily hurt even
more people. In just a couple of weeks, things should have calmed
down enough for a statement to be made. Impatience is not a fruit
of the Spirit, and I have personally never seen anything done
under the kind of duress and pressure that some are trying to
exert at this time that ended up not being a mistake.
- The only thing that I have received from the Lord about this
matter directly is that “those who rush to judgment will
be exposed.” This entire matter, including the Lakeland
Outpouring, is a test. To me, the miracles, healings, salvations,
and profoundly changed lives that resulted in people, some that
I personally know, make all that is happening now still worth
it, many times over.
- My opinion of the Lakeland Outpouring has not changed, and
it will mark a demarcation point for the church that will have
a positive impact on our future. I greatly appreciate all who
helped to make it possible, and I also appreciate the devotion
we are seeing to not compromise basic biblical standards of morality
and integrity. If we handle what is now before us rightly, it
can have an even greater impact than the Outpouring did to encourage

- Prayer Alert (August Date: Aug 28, 2008 - Widespread mob
violence against the Christian community in Orissa state began
on August 24 following the assassination of World Hindu Council
(VHP) leader Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati on the evening of August
23. Saraswati, the leader allegedly responsible for inciting
attacks on Christians in Orissa's Kandhamal district last Christmas,
was killed along with four of his followers when approximately
30 armed men stormed a religious centre in Kandhamal district
and opened fire. Despite evidence indicating that Maoists are
responsible for Saraswati's murder, several Hindu militant groups
have blamed Christians. As a result, Hindu militants have launched
attacks on Christians throughout the state, setting buildings
on fire and beating and killing believers in at least 12 districts.
The Voice of the Martyrs has been receiving numerous reports
from various sources on this developing crisis. At present, it
is difficult to know the full extent of what is happening in
Orissa. Churches and Christian missions destroyed
- Churches, mission buildings and schools throughout the state
have been damaged, ransacked or destroyed in the attacks. Militants
set fire to a social centre in the village of Nuagaon, Kandhamal
district after gang-raping a nun who was at the facility. The
Bethel Association, an orphanage in the district of Rayagada,
was burned to the ground. The mission was home to 150 children,
many of them from families who have suffered persecution for
their faith. In Bargarh district, another orphanage was torched
and a young woman was burned alive after she was thrown inside
the building when she tried to protect the children. At least
20 churches have reportedly been destroyed, but the extent of
the damage has not been ascertained as reports continue to be
released from the affected regions.

by Dr. Peter Masters: “The new evangelical virtually worships
at the feet of unbelieving scholarship. He submits himself to
liberal study courses, consults liberal commentators, quotes
liberal writers, and allows them to shape and condition his views.
In fairness, it must be said that he disagrees with the most
offensive pronouncements of liberals, and even takes issue with
them. But he nevertheless borrows and absorbs a massive amount
of their poison, and this is so because the new evangelical wants
to be accepted in the academic world dominated by liberals. He
wants to shine, to gain a good reputation and position, and be
counted as a good member of the comprehensive world of theological
scholarship. ... New evangelicals invent and use an unending
stream of human innovations and gimmicks, being wholly dissatisfied

- RAVI ZACHARIAS JOINS ROBERT SCHULLER FOR RETHINK 2009
Evangelical speaker and author, Ravi Zacharias, is scheduled
to speak at Robert Schuller's second ,Rethink Conference at Crystal
Cathedral in February 2009. Other speakers scheduled so far for
the 2009 event are emerging church pastor, Dan Kimball, Miles
McPherson, Nancy Ortberg, Robert Schuller, Henry Cloud and others.
More are expected to be added to the list. The 2008 Rethink Conference
had over 40 speakers, including the ones mentioned above, except
for Zacharias who is new this year. Lighthouse Trails reported
on last year's event in an article titled: "Erwin McManus
Teams Up with Robert Schuller - Could Have Far-Reaching Effects"
The 2008 Rethink was hosted by Schuller, Sr. and emerging church
futurist Erwin McManus. One of the things our 2007 report brought
out was the contemplative (i.e., mystical) aspect several of
the speakers shared. Some of those in that category were Kay
Warren, John and Nancy Ortberg, Erwin McManus, and Dan Kimball.

In an article titled, "Ravi Zacharias Ministries Points
to Nouwen, Merton, and Foster," it was brought out that
"Ravi Zacharias International Ministry website is carrying
numerous articles, which speak favorably of Catholic mystic Henri

We heard a nine-year old girl singing an amazing solo, but a
more beautiful girl (with a less perfect voice) stood in her
place, mimed the words and received the applause of 91,000 spectators.
- The next days prompted more questions. Were the vast Olympic
construction projects worth evicting more than a million people?
Was winning a gold medal worth lying about the age of a gifted
gymnast? Did banishing Christian leaders and their families from
Beijing before the Olympics fit the vision of a "One World"
union?
- Communism has always clashed with truth, freedom and integrity,
and China's choices illustrate the point. Only by unthinkable
compromise can the "free world" find "common ground"
with Communist totalitarianism. Yet, countless clues suggest
that its masses are now marching blindly toward an illusion of
unity, following leaders who willingly trade conviction for compromise....
Aldous Huxley shared some interesting observations about mandatory
oneness in a book he wrote after Hitler temporarily shattered
the socialist vision of an evolving utopia. In Brave New World
Revisited, he wrote, "The future dictator's subjects will
be painlessly regimented by a corps of highly trained social
engineers.... "Their behavior is determined, not by knowledge
and reason, but by feelings and unconscious drives. It is in
these drives and feelings that 'the roots of their positive as
well as their negative attitudes are implanted.' To be successful
a propagandist must learn how to manipulate these instincts and

Christian song that hangs reverently between my computer monitor
and keyboard. As I read Dr. John Jay Harper's new article for
UFO Digest entitled The Art of WWIII: The Unifying Archetypes
of Apocalypse, 8/22/08, I felt a sense of déjà
vu all over again. I looked into his synchronistic, Jungian,
collective unconscious eyes and saw myself thirty years younger
looking back wild eyed yet startlingly perplexed like a deer
caught in the headlights. As I have written about many times
before including my article My Early Descent into the Spirit
World of Darkness and My Later Ascent into the Godly World of
Light, UFO Digest, 2/1/08, I come from an intellectual and spiritual
background very similar to many of UFO Digest readers and contributors.
I began studying UFOs fifty years ago and reading books by Major
Donald Keyhoe and about Project Bluebook. I affiliated with early
UFO organizations like NICAP and APRO. As a young man, I read
the works of Charles Fort and Brad Steiger. My Masters Thesis
was a tribute to the Gnostic philosopher Rudolf Steiner. As a
young Professor, I had the students in my graduate class, "Alternate
Conceptions of Reality" read the same writers that Dr. Harper
cited in his article including Jung, Huxley, Campbell, Capra
and Zukav. I experimented with lucid dreaming and channeling
images from the yenne velt (other world). I wrote an article
for a feminist journal, Anima, in 1980 entitled "Adam: Male,
Female or Both?" where I spoke of the androgynous nature
of Adam and therefore of God. I read the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas
which Harper cited and used its Taoist unity mantra in reconciling
good and evil, male and female and other supposed opposites to
write a novel, "The Other World" thirty years ago where
I glorified the Hebrew feminist archetype Lilith. I was probably

RALEIGH - Thousands of church services will take place in the
Triangle today, but none is likely to match the religious --
and financial -- performance that has already come and gone in
Raleigh. Through two days of four-hour services last week, a
racially diverse collection of believers crammed into Raleigh's
Memorial Auditorium to receive the Holy Spirit, sing along with
a rocked-out gospel band, and to maybe find a cure where doctors
had failed.
- They came to see the Rev. Benny Hinn, an international preacher
and native of Israel who claims that, through the power of the
Holy Spirit, sick people are supernaturally healed in his presence.
Where he preaches, women cry. Men do, too. And the spirit knocks
people to the floor when Pastor Benny waves his hand.
- Hinn is one of the country's best-known faith healers, with
a television ministry that claims viewership in more than 200
countries. Earlier this month, he preached in Taipei, Taiwan.
On Thursday night in Raleigh, a boisterous crowd nearly packed
the 2,300 seats of Memorial Auditorium. After a Friday morning
service that filled about two-thirds of the hall, Hinn returned
that evening to preach his Pentecostal-steeped, tongue-speaking
Christianity to a capacity crowd, with hundreds more watching
on a big-screen in the room next door.

- SOME SAY THE EMERGING CHURCH IS DEAD - THE TRUTH IS BEHIND
THE STORY

19th Christianity Today blog article, the emerging church is
dead. "An overused and corrupted term now sleeps with the
fishes," the article states. But is this even remotely true?
Or rather could it be that the emerging church, or what we call
the "merging" church, is morphing into its next "higher"
level, and just as a butterfly would not want to be called a
worm, neither do many in this evolving movement want to be called
"the emerging church" any longer. However, unlike the
beauty of a golden butterfly broken from its cocoon, the merging
church does not share such grandeur. In reality, it is a dangerous
pied piper leading millions over a deadly cliff of deception.
And just as the "birth" of the emerging church was
a well-thought out, highly-financed "dream" of millionaire
corporations and futurists, so too will be its supposed "death"
and rebirth. But don't be fooled, the emerging church and the
spirituality behind it is alive and kicking.
- The Christianity Today posting claims that an "informant"
from a publishing house told him that two years ago plans were
in the making to drop the term "the emerging church"
because "the term has become so polluted." The writer
says that emerging church leaders, like Dan Kimball, don't want
to use that term anymore. Kimball says the current emerging church
has too many "theological strands" that he "strongly
disagrees with." Kimball's 2003 book The Emerging Church
(endorsed by Rick Warren and Brian McLaren, both who wrote forewords
for the book) has been considered a signature book for the movement.

- I stared again at the material that had been sent to me by
a radio listener. In a program aired last summer, I had been
talking about the deceptiveness of the New Age and how it was
working its way into the fabric of the church. The information
in front of me, if true, was very disturbing. Jay Gary, a veteran
in the Christian missions field, and the author of a heavily
endorsed, recently released book entitled The Star of 2000, had
apparently invited prominent New Age leader Robert Muller to
be a key advisor for his Christian organization. Compounding
the matter, Gary seemed to be openly recommending a book written

- Concerning the earth, I have never said that it hangs by
a string. I have said that the sun revolves around the earth
and the earth is at rest as per Psalm 19 and a host of other
scriptures. True objective science further validates geocentricity
which I defend in antithesis to heliocentricity. Concerning the
detonations at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I have stated in my book
that both were ground detonations set up by Jesuits on site.
One of those Jesuits was Pedro Arrupe who later became the Jesuit
General. The bombs that were dropped by the B-29s were magnesium
flash bombs with uranium or plutonium contained therein so as
to give the illusion that "atomic" bombs were dropped
over those cities. When the flash bombs detonated above the sites,
the Jesuits on the ground and shielded beneath the atomic devices,
then detonated the atomic devices. First came the flash, then
came the detonation on the ground. At Hiroshima, five Jesuits
emerged from ground zero unscathed and attributed their survival
to "a miracle of the Virgin Mary." I have said nothing
about a black magic nuclear bomb. I trust this is helpful.

- 11/2/2008 11 - Marilyn Ferguson, whose best-selling book
"The Aquarian Conspiracy" helped establish the New
Age movement by tying together its disparate threads, has died.
She was 70. Ferguson died Oct. 19 at her home in western Riverside
County. She is believed to have died of a heart attack, her son,
Eric, told the Los Angeles Times.
- "The Aquarian Conspiracy," published in 1980, was
the first comprehensive analysis of the various unconnected efforts
_ such as scientists investigating biofeedback, midwives running
alternative birthing centers and a Christian evangelist promoting
meditation _ that would coalesce into the New Age movement. She
cast these activities as a cumulative force seeking to break
away from mainstream Western attitudes toward medicine, psychology
and spirituality.
- "After a dark, violent age, the Piscean, we are entering
a millennium of love and light _ in the words of the popular
song 'the Age of Aquarius,' the time of 'the mind's true liberation,'"
Ferguson wrote in the book. Fritjof Capra, the New Age figure
and physicist who wrote the "Tao of Physics," said
Ferguson was a vital figure among those striving together to
create an alternative consciousness. "She was a very important
coordinator and networker in this whole movement," he told
