destructive cults are twice that of contracting chicken pox,
1,850 times more than catching measles, three times greater than
getting AIDS, and it exceeds the total of any one kind of cancer,
syphilis, gonorrhea, and flu. Yet where is the educational emphasis

- THE PROTESTANT PARADIGM BEGAN when leading figures of the
evangelical movement at Princeton University produced twelve
volumes of writings in a series titled The Fundamentals. According
to Kueng, being a conservative Protestant, or a Pietist, or an
Evangelical does not make one a fundamentalist. So what makes
one a fundamentalist? According to Kueng, "a fundamentalist
is someone .. who confesses the literal inspiration and therefore
the unconditional inerrancy of the Bible.".. Kueng says,
"... fundamentalism is a universal problem, a world
problem." If what he says is true, then why do "Christians"
want to tolerate everyone: Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Witches, Satanists

- OKLAHOMA CITY AND HOUSTON TEXAS, GET LDS TEMPLES for the
performance of rituals on behalf of the dead and learning how
to do the secret "Masonic" grips necessary for entrance
to the celestial heaven where their god lives. Wearing a cross
is verboten. Participants have to swear never to reveal the rituals
by repeating "Rather than do so, I would suffer my life
to be taken." Before the change in 1990 the rituals included
motions by the individual across their throat and abdomen to
confirm how this murder would be performed, which has been changed.
In the new ritual, it is even harder to detect what one is subjecting
themselves to.

- PETER WAGNER'S MOVEMENT OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE go in where
even the police fears to tread in Africa. They have joined hands
with the government against crime. The problem is, I doubt that
Peter Wagner himself gets involved in physically participating
in these battles, but young volunteers are most likely used for
political purposes to expose the nests under the guise of having
to perform works to go to heaven, when in reality salvation is
a gift of grace. To change grace is to discount the sacrifice
of God's only begotten Son who paid the price for our transgressions.

10 million salvations. He has birthed 40 churches in Japan and

- BIBLE: FOUR MOST AMAZING STATEMENTS EVER MADE: First Claim:
Everyone will see him come. (Revelation 1:7,8)
Second Claim: Jesus is Alpha and Omega. Alpha and Omega
are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. He means
that He is the One who had the first word in world history and
He will also have the last. Third Claim: Jesus Is, Was and Will
Come. (Revelation 1:8) The words, "..
which is" means that Jesus is God; He is without beginning
or end, He always was and always will be. Fourth Claim: Jesus
is Almighty. The words, ".. the Almighty" mean that

- KENNETH HAGIN'S LATEST BOOK: THE MIDAS TOUCH asks: Have you
ever wished that everything you touched turned to gold? The book
addresses: Should believers expect a "hundredfold return"
on what they give? Is "supernatural debt cancellation"
biblical? Is the wealth of the wicked laid up for the just? Are
Christians entitled to an "end-time transfer of wealth"?
Is "naming your seed" scriptural? Should you believe
God for the "double portion"? (Ibid.)
- BENNY HINN prophecies once again: "A peace treaty between
Israel and the Palestinians will be signed before the end of
the year and it will usher in a new era of openness to Christianity
in the Middle East." Another prediction is that a group
of Israeli rabbis will see a vision of Jesus so magnificent that
they will preach the Gospel in their synagogues - triggering
harsh laws restricting proselytism in the Jewish state. "Within
two years there will be a new pope," Hinn declares. He then
describes the new pontiff as an Italian who wears glasses and
long hair. "And within two years a young Egyptian male converted
from Islam will preach the gospel so well that hundreds of thousands
of Muslims will accept Christ." His TV shows air in 190
countries with yearly revenues of $60 - $70 million. In spite
of much criticism many ministry leaders defend him, including
Oral Roberts, E.V. Hill, Tommy Barnett and even Jerry Falwell.

- WIMBER'S PHILOSOPHY WAS THAT CHRISTIANS ARE "NATURALLY
SUPERNATURAL." His wife Carol says that her husband's greatest
legacy was taking the gifts of the Holy Spirit and putting them
in the hands of the everyday Christian. Power evangelism, "he
called it, tell and show, " says his wife Carol. "Jesus
demonstrated His right to rule and reign in all situations, and
we are to do the same." Wimber taught "Signs, Wonders
and Church Growth" class at Fuller Theological Seminary.

- EPISCOPALIANS, LUTHERANS JOIN IN HISTORIC AGREEMENT AND FORGE
HISTORIC ALLIANCE. After January, the Evangelical Lutheran Church
has agreed all of its new clergy and bishops will be ordained
and consecrated in the traditional Episcopal manner, putting
them on similar clerical status to their Episcopalian peers.
All the clergy will be folded into the historic episcopate. Some
Lutherans congregations have threatened to leave if the agreement
is implemented. Friday's vote was the climax of ecumenical talks
between the two churches which began 30 years ago (1960). The
meeting was held in Denver, Colorado, to bring the two denominations
into full communion even as they maintain their separate identities.
The landmark document is titled "Called to Common Mission."
They have agreed to share ministers, places of worship and other
resources. 5.2 million Lutherans merged with 2.3 million Episcopalians.

- LEADER OF CULT-WATCHING GROUP UNDER SCRUTINY. "Bible
Answer Man" Hank Hanegraaff, director of Christian Research
Institute (CRI) was reprimanded by Mrs. Walter Martin whose husband
founded CRI. She wrote in a letter to "The Los Angeles Times"
that she objects to Hanegraff's leadership of CRI because of
his "mistreatment of fellow Christians." Martin's letter
followed a Times article that reported that her family is demanding
Hanegraaff's resignation. (Charisma, July 2000)

- PAUL CROUCH IS CRITICISED FOR PRO-CHINA COMMENTS. Charisma
Magazine believes the comments were positive when Crouch praised
China's progress in human rights in spite of the fact that Christians
are more persecuted today than before. The report came from China's
Official Xinhua News Agency carried by CNN. The report said Crouch
had personally seen that Christians openly practice "their

Attendance is down to 0.5 per cent of the population attending
the Sunday services of any denomination according to the country's

in the River," these Spirit-filled Baptists are not afraid

on an anti-discrimination bill that guarantees the right to practice

Nazi Party adopted the swastika and turned it into the most potent
icon of racial hatred, it traveled the world as a good luck symbol.
It was known the world over. Buddha's footprints were said to
be swastikas. Navajo blankets were woven with swastikas. Let's
"get on with its benign life," and separate it from
the "sins of the Nazis." It has become an icon of rebellion.
The logo for ZZ Flex skateboards looks a lot like a swastika.
The label on the heavy metal CD Sacred Reich has interlocking
swastikas. Does it matter? "No," Heller says: "Nazi
icons were strong enough to seduce a nation and still contain
