this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years.
We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking
out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth:

were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years.

The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
and today's church doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word
of God has undergone many changes to fit the progressive modes.
Many new Bible tranlations have brought confusion. The Bible
calls for a falling away from the truth before
Jesus comes back for His Bride. The true believers are called
'Ekklesia.' Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the
Bible is true from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, the so called democratizing what is left of the world.
This is a deception since the underlying new world global government
is developed by implementing sustainable development. The
Bible prophesies that there will be ten kings (ten horns), each
king (horn) will receive a region of the world as a reward for
work well done for the Antichrist. This is the reason for the
present development of NAU (The North American Union) as well
as the war in the Middle East. It again proves that we are moving
to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied in the Bible.
The end result will not be Democracy but a form of Fascist Communism
(Public/Private Corporations enslaving mankind).
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings because Israel is the time piece of the Biblical Prophecy.
1948 was the beginning of the figtree representing Israel, coming
back to life. Israel was allowed to return to its land. Jesus
Christ is the Rock (Israel) is the rock upon which the world
stumbles and crumbles. We watch and visit Israel for signs which
point to the Tribulation to confirm that we are moving into that
space of time.

- THE HOLY TRINITY
David Cloud: The following is excerpt by the late Loraine Boettner:
".. Any statement of the doctrine which fails to set forth
both the unity and the tri-personality of the Godhead falls short
of the Scripture teaching.
- Since the three Persons of the Trinity possess the same identical,
numerical substance or essence, and since the attributes are
inherent in and inseparable from the substance or essence, it
follows that all of the Divine attributes must be possessed alike
by each of the three Persons and that the three Persons must
be consubstantial, co-equal and co-eternal. Each is truly God,
exercising the same power, partaking equally of the Divine glory,
and entitled to the same worship. When the word “Father”
is used in our prayers, as for example in the Lord’s prayer,
it does not refer exclusively to the first person of the Trinity,
but to the three Persons as one God. The Triune God is our Father.
The doctrine of the Trinity cannot lead to Tritheism; for while
there are three Persons in the Godhead, there is but one substance
or essence, and therefore but one God. It is rather a case of
the one life substance, Deity, existing consciously as three
Persons. The three Persons are related to the divine substance
not as three individuals to their species, as Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob to human nature; they are only one God,—not a
triad, but a Trinity. In the inmost depths of their being they
are inherently and inescapably one.

the numerically same substance is proved by such Scripture verses
as the following: “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of
the Godhead bodily” (Col. 2:9). “I and the Father are
one” (John 10:30). “Believe me that I am in the Father,

- SEVEN MAJOR PROPHETIC SIGNS OF

- There are seven major prophetic signs of the Second Coming,
and currently all of them are in some stage of fulfillment. As
in years past, I’ll list the seven with their primary biblical
references and offer commentary from current events.
- 1. Israel Will Be In The Land … Ezekiel 36:8-12, 37:21
Speaking to the Land God said,
“You, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit
for my people Israel, for they will soon come home. I am concerned
for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and
sown, and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even
the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the
ruins rebuilt. I will increase the number of men and animals
upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will
settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper
more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD. I will
cause people, my people Israel, to walk upon you. They will possess
you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again
deprive them of their children.
- And to the people,
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites
out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from
all around and bring them back into their own land.
- Although Ezekiel wrote these words while the Israelites were
in Babylon, they were not fulfilled in the nation’s return
from exile there. Like Isaiah before him (Isaiah 11:11) Ezekiel
was speaking of the second and final return. Therefore in 1948,
when Israel took its place among the nations of the world again
for the first time in nearly 2000 years, students of prophecy
recognized the fulfillment of the primary sign that the end of
the age was upon us. Jesus said that some from the generation
being born when this happened would still be alive when He returns
(Matt. 24:34). Both Psalm 90:10 and Isaiah 23:15 hint that an
average Biblical life span is about 70 years. Since 63 years
have passed since Israel became a nation again after being absent
for nearly 1900 years, students of prophecy have cause to believe

Ark have been found near the summit of Mt. Ararat in Turkey,
and the research team’s project leader has published a number
of scientific articles claiming the legitimacy of the discovery.
Climate Change Summit Calls for 'Noah's Ark'The finding concerns
a large, wooden piece measuring 24 x 123 feet from the Ark, which
has been located deep inside the glacial ice 350 feet from the
top of Mt. Aratat. The area has historically been associated
with the possible spot where the Ark hit land after the ocean
waters dispersed during the biblical account of the Genesis flood.
According to the website, which is named Noah's Ark Found, talk
of the Ark has been swarming the mountain region for thousands
of years, though science has never confirmed its existence or
location.
The creator of the research project, Daniel P. McGivern, president
and C.E.O. of Shamrock, The Trinity Corporation, has posted evidence
on the website seeking to change that and argue a strong case
for the credible existence of the Ark and its location at the
17,000-foot mountain. The "Science Directs Discovery"
section features links to various scientific articles that discuss
evidence for the Ark, as well as photographs from the archeological
site of the discovery, and sketches that seek to illustrate the
dimensions of the ship and how it would have found itself on

- "Terraforming is changing the atmosphere of earth from
one that is hostile to the Kingdom of God to one that is hospitable
to the Kingdom of God. It is also preparing a person (Exodus
29), place (Ezekiel 39), or thing (Joshua 24:27) to be clean
before entering the Presence of God, which is His prerequisite
(Psalm 24:3-4). We do this by asking Him to reveal the hidden
sins that have given evil the right to manifest with the Light
of Jesus (Psalm 90:8, John 8:12)." Terra Forming is not
a clever invention, it is an old saw, and it is not given to
Scott Norvell by revelation or illumination. It is an adaptation
done on something well defined and powered by humanistic lust
to make the earth over to fit man's presuppositions: Here is
a very busy site which covers hundreds of considerations in a
scientific approach to terraforming. It is made clear, if you
visit some articles and topics, that these people are mad dreamers.
They dream of occupying all of the cosmos and changing earth
and the universe to fit their notions. The mystical humanistic
and evolutionary aspects of this mess clearly is the foundation
of Terra Forming, the cult.

During a recent episode, Jackson contended that the Muslim Brotherhood

highest levels."I just went to a briefing in Washington
D.C., across the street from the Capitol, at the Longworth building
at 8:30 am two days ago and it changed my life,” she said.
“For six hours, I saw pictures and names and dates and facts

proved to me… that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated
our highest positions in government and this is serious.”

exemption for employers that oppose birth control on religious

published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some
parts of the Bible are not actually true. The Catholic bishops
of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million
worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture,
that they should not expect 'total accuracy' from the Bible.
"We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific
accuracy or complete historical precision," they say in
The Gift of Scripture.
The document is timely, coming as it does amid the rise of the
religious Right, in particular in the US.
Some Christians want a literal interpretation of the story of
creation, as told in Genesis, taught alongside Darwin’s
theory of evolution in schools, believing “intelligent design”
to be an equally plausible theory of how the world began. But
the first 11 chapters of Genesis, in which two different and
at times conflicting stories of creation are told, are among
those that this country’s Catholic bishops insist cannot
be 'historical'. At most, they say, they may contain 'historical

SUPREME COURT DELIVERS A KNOCKOUT PUNCH TO THE WHITE HOUSE

President Barack Obama pauses during his news conference with
Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, in the South Court Auditorium
on the White House complex in Washington. Wednesday the United
States Supreme Court delivered a knockout blow to the White House
in the cause of religious liberty. Chief Justice John Roberts,
writing for a unanimous court swatted away the government’s
claim that the Lutheran Church did not have the right to fire
a “minister of religion” who, after six years of Lutheran
religious training had been commissioned as a minister, upon
election by her congregation.
The fired minister -- who also taught secular subjects -- claimed
discrimination in employment. The Obama administration, always
looking for opportunities to undermine the bedrock of First Amendment
religious liberty, eagerly agreed. There was just one big problem
standing in the way of the government's plan: the U.S. Constitution.
For a long time American courts have recognized the existence
of a "ministerial exemption" which keeps government’s
hands off the employment relationship between a religious institution
and its ministers or clergy. But, Chief Justice Roberts pushed
back hard, telling the government essentially to butt out:
"Requiring a church to accept or retain an unwanted minister,
or punishing a church for failing to do so, intrudes upon more
than a mere employment decision. Such action interferes with
the internal governance of the church, depriving the church of
control over the selection of those who will personify its beliefs.
By imposing an unwanted minister, the state infringes the free
exercise clause, which protects a religious group’s right
to shape its own faith and mission through its appointments.
According the state the power to determine which individuals
will minister to the faithful also violates the establishment
clause, which prohibits government involvement in such ecclesiastical
decisions."
Citing well-known legal precedent dating as far back as Reconstruction,
the court made it clear that it is not up to the government to
contradict a faith’s determination as to who should -- and
should not -- be performing religious functions.

SUPREME COURT SIDES WITH CHURCH ON DECISION TO FIRE EMPLOYEE
ON RELIGIOUS GROUNDS

has sided unanimously with a church sued for firing an employee
on religious grounds, issuing an opinion on Wednesday that religious
employers can keep the government out of hiring and firing decisions.
In the case of Hosanna-Tabor v. EEOC, Cheryl Perich, a "called"
teacher, argued that the Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church
and School of Redford, Mich., had discriminated against her under
the Americans With Disabilities Act by refusing to reinstate
her to her job after she took leave for narcolepsy.
But the high court found that Perich's was properly classified
as a "minister," meaning she falls within the "ministerial
exemption" from many employment laws. "Because Perich
was a minister within the meaning of the exception, the First
Amendment requires dismissal of this employment discrimination
suit against her religious employer," reads the ruling written
by Chief Justice John Roberts. "The EEOC and Perich originally
sought an order reinstating Perich to her former position as
a called teacher. By requiring the Church to accept a minister
it did not want, such an order would have plainly violated the
Church's freedom under the Religion Clauses to select its own
ministers. ...
"The exception ... ensures that the authority to select
and control who will minister to the faithful is the church's
alone," the ruling reads. Roberts added that this particular
case is based on the ministerial exception's use in dismissing
the discrimination claim but does not bar other types of suits
alleging breach of contract or "tortious conduct" by
religious employers. The applicability of the exception to other
circumstances would be dealt with separately "if and when
they arise," he wrote. The high court's decision overturned
an earlier decision by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

its own faith is engaging in wrongdoing, according to a New Jersey
judge who recommended today that the state Division on Civil
Rights find the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association violated
the state’s nondiscrimination law. "The respondent
violated the [Law Against Discrimination] when it refused to
conduct a civil-union ceremony for Ms. Bernstein and Ms. Paster,"
wrote Solomon Metzger, an administrative law judge whose determination
will become final if not overturned by the Division of Civil
Rights. "Respondent opposes same-sex unions as a matter
of religious belief, and in 2007 found itself on the wrong side

- JESUITS DIRECT MACARTHUR; MASS CONVERSION TO CATHOLICISM
04. Jun, 2011 - The Ashlar and The Cross - A new book says that
in the post-war era, Gen. Douglas MacArthur perceived a “spiritual
vacuum” in Japan and tried to fill it with spiritual beliefs,
including Christianity and Freemasonry.
In the book, 1945 Under the Shadow of the Occupation: The Ashlar
and The Cross, authored by Eiichiro Tokumoto, the Japanese investigative
journalist said that MacArthur, who then held absolute authority
over Japan, believed that faith would help to offset communism,
which in the early days of the cold war was gaining popularity,
ENI News said.
Tokumoto based his contention on documents that were recently
released to the public, that indicate that MacArthur tried to
convince missionaries to intensify efforts in Japan, and even
suggested mass conversions of the Japanese people to the Roman
Catholic faith, according to ENI News.
General loss of faith
At that period, MacArthur observed that the Japanese people were
experiencing a general lack of faith in many things. The Japanese
military lost its nationalistic image of invincibility, the emperor
had surrendered, and the state Shinto belief, which had been
adhered to for several millennia, was being blamed for their
defeat in 1945, ENI News said.
“MacArthur was very interested in the relationship between
politics and religion in Japan, and he wanted both to reform
the ideas and the ideology of the Japanese people as well as
[make] sure that communism did not fill the gap in people’s
minds and hearts,” Tokumoto wrote, according to ENI News.
Documents: Among the documents that Tokumoto referred to in his
book is the report of a meeting that MacArthur held in 1946 with
American Catholic bishops John F. O’Hara and Michael J.
Ready. The bishops toured Japan for three weeks and met with
political, religious leaders and members of the imperial family.

COURTS SAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH NOT ALLOWED TO PRACTICE CHRISTIANITY
Should a Christian church be allowed to practice its faith in
all of its activities? Not according to a New Jersey judge. In
2007, a lesbian couple, Harriet Bernstein and Luisa Paster asked
Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association for permission to hold their
civil union at the picturesque seaside facility. Ocean Grove,
who is associated with the United Methodist Church, declined
the request because of their belief in what the Bible says against
homosexuality.
Their facility is located on the Atlantic coast and has an open
air pavilion where they held various functions and activities,
many of which are done as a religious outreach. The couple filed
a discrimination complaint against Ocean Grove. The New Jersey
Division of Civil Rights joined in on the complaint filed by
the lesbian couple.
Jim Campbell, a litigation staff counsel for the Alliance Defense
Fund, argued on behalf of Ocean Grove,
"The government should not be able to force a private Christian
organization to use its property in a way that would violate
its own religious beliefs. Religious groups have the right to
use their private property in a way that is consistent with their
beliefs. That right, protected by both the New Jersey and U.S.
constitutions, obviously trumps any law enacted by the state’s

DOOR OPENED TO FORCE THIS ON CHURCHES
Religious groups 'will inevitably be coerced into performing

fanfare, and almost no debate in the House of Commons, the English
government recently passed a law allowing same-sex couples to
hold 'civil partnership' ceremonies on religious premises. In
America, at least according to Administrative Law Judge Solomon
Metzger, a New Jersey religious group recently violated a similar
law.
According to the New Jersey finding, 'The Law Against Discrimination
makes it unlawful for the owner of ‘any place of public
accommodation’ to refuse its use on the basis of sexual
orientation or civil-union status.' Metzger says that the Ocean

to allow a lesbian couple to hold a ceremony on its property.

EVANGELICALS AND MORMONS TOGETHER
NOVEMBER 17, 2011 David Cloud - In the 1990s we had Evangelicals
and Catholics Together; now we have Evangelicals and Mormons
Together (not in name but in principle). I was wondering when
it would happen. It is grossly inconsistent for evangelicals
to fellowship with the Roman Catholic Church, with its sacramental
gospel and wafer-christ and Queen of Heaven and Holy Father,
AND NOT to fellowship with Mormons. If the Roman Catholic, with
his false christ and false gospel, can be accepted as a fellow
believer, why not the Mormon?
Now this inconsistency is being addressed. Prominent 'evangelical'
leaders met on March 10, 2011, with Mormons in Salt Lake City
for a 'dialogue' in search of better understanding. The evangelicals
include Leith Anderson, president of the National Association
of Evangelicals; Craig Williford, president of Trinity International
University; Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Seminary; and David
Neff, editor-in-chief of Christianity Today. Anderson said, "We
hope this time of dialogue with LDS leaders will deepen our understanding

Pastor, congregation face forced removal from their own building

and Missionary Alliance congregation in Paramus, N.J., is facing
a forced removal from a debt-free building the congregation has
owned since 1929 this weekend, and they are blaming their own
denominational officials for the impending ministry doom. The
Metropolitan District of the C&MA has filed a lawsuit, invoking
a 'reversionary' clause in documents they claim link the Paramus
congregation to the C&MA. This clause, they say, allows them
to step in and take over all assets of a church and their demand
of the court is for the judge to order the church’s shutdown.
According to court documents the district wants the assets of
the Paramus church to use to further its mission among other
churches. Pastor Joseph Smaha tells WND that the congregation
built the building from the ground up without one penny of help
from the C&MA, yet now stands to lose it all to them in the

MUSLIMS THROW ACID ON CHURCH LEADER
Friday Church News Notes, January 6, 2012 - On Christmas Eve,
Muslims threw acid on Umar Mulinde, pastor of Gospel Life Church
in Manasuba, Uganda, and a convert from Islam. The vicious attack
left him with severe burns that have blinded one eye and threatened
sight in the other. "From his hospital bed in Kampala, he
told Compass that he was on his way back to the site for a party
with the entire congregation and hundreds of new converts to
Christianity when a man who claimed to be a Christian approached
him. ‘I heard him say in a loud voice, Pastor, Pastor, and
as I made a turn and looked at him, he poured the liquid onto
my face as others poured more liquid on my back and then fled
away shouting, Allahu akbar [Allah is greater],’ Mulinde
said, still visibly traumatized two days after the assault. ...
‘The burn caused by the acid is so severe that there is
an urgent need for specialized treatment,’ said area Christian
Musa Baluku Symutsangira. ... ‘I have been receiving several
threats for a long time, and this last one is the worst of all,’
Mulinde said. Mulinde is known for debates locally and internationally
in which he often challenges Muslims regarding their religion.
His extensive knowledge and quotation of the Quran in his preaching
has won him enemies and friends. Often criticizing Islam, he
has relied on police protection during revival campaigns throughout
Uganda. ‘Mulinde poses a big threat to those who cannot
take the challenge as he engages the Muslims in debate,’
said Dr. Joseph Serwadda, an area church leader. Mulinde is married
and has six children ages 14, 12, 8, 6 and twins who are 3. Mulinde

a seal associated with ritual purification rites in the Second
Temple was found. The seal was discovered during excavations
under the Robinson’s Arch in the western wall of the Temple
Mount. The seal, which is inscribed with the Aramaic words 'Pure
for God,' was found in soil dating to or just prior to the first
century A.D. Archaeologist Eli Shukron of the Israel Antiquities
Authority and Professor Ronny Reich of the University of Haifa
said: "It constitutes direct archaeological evidence of
the activity on the Temple Mount and the workings of the Temple

represents 60 percent of Palestinians, who live in the West Bank)
is in trouble again. Palestinian Authority (PA) leader, Mahmoud
Abbas, was recently seen in an Egyptian TV interview stating
flatly that the PA would never recognize the state of Israel
and was determined to destroy Israel. While anyone who follows
Palestinian Arab language media (especially TV) knows this, the
PA represents itself to the UN and the non-Moslem world as receptive
to peace with Israel, and with the establishment of a Palestinian
state that would coexist with Israel. Yet Palestinian TV and
newspapers constantly depict Israel as, well, not existing. Maps

of the Vatican was transferred last year against his will after

informing Pope Benedict that he had discovered a web of corruption,
nepotism and cronyism linked to inflated contract payments. For
example, an outdoor crib had cost more than twice what it should
have. The Archbishop also claimed that Italian bankers who managed
some Vatican investments had put their own interests first. The

- WILLIAM MARION BRANHAM:
New Testament Prophet or Occult Mystic? Was William Branham a
'true prophet of God' as he claimed? Or was he only one of the
“many deceivers” that our Lord Jesus Christ warned
his disciples about? This is a legitimate question that should
be asked and must be answered because thousands of people are
influenced to this day by Branham's teachings.
William Branham believed that an angel guided him throughout
his life. William Branham's ministry was a result of this 'angel's
guidance': this supposed 'angel from heaven' would appear to
him on more than one occasion (Gal. 1:8). A predominant characteristic
of Branham's meetings was his near total fixation on the 'presence'
of this angel. Branham said, "I'm convinced that that very
Spirit that you feel, the Holy Spirit that is moving in us, I'm
convinced that that's Christ. Amen! I'm convinced that, right
now, that This is what I'm looking at, this Circle of Light before
me, I'm convinced that's the Holy Spirit! I'm convinced that
vision is over my eyes! I know it is. Amen!" When asked
if it was the Holy Spirit that did the supernatural signs and
miracles in his meetings, Branham responded, "No, my angel
does these things!" Branham said, "I believe that that
same Angel anoints us, because It was God." This is absolutely
un-biblical. Jesus Christ's apostles were led by the Spirit of
truth and the scriptures, not by an angel from heaven and a feeling.
The apostle Paul warned, "But though we, or an angel from
heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have
preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Gal. 1:6-9). "And
no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be
transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall
be according to their works." (II Cor. 11:14,15).
- Some people might point to William Branham's ability to 'slay
people in the Spirit' as proof that he was a true prophet of
God. But the only people who were 'slain in the Spirit' in the
New Testament were God's enemies. If we 'try the spirits' and
test this phenomena by the scriptures (I John 4:1; II Tim. 3:16),
we will see that the only people who were 'slain in the Spirit'
were the soldiers and men who came to arrest Jesus; and Saul
and his companions who were enemies of the Christian church;
and Ananias and Sapphira who tempted the Spirit of the Lord and
lied to God. The band of men and officers “went backward,
and fell to the ground' when Jesus said unto them, "I am
he" (John 18:3-6); and Saul (Paul) and those with him "were
all fallen to the earth" when Jesus spoke to him before
his conversion (Acts 26:14); and Ananias and Sapphira died as
a result of being 'slain in the Spirit' (Acts 5:1-10). Nowhere
in the scriptures will you find an apostle or disciple of Jesus
Christ being 'slain in the Spirit' and convulsing uncontrollably,
as witnessed in these modern-day so called healing revivals.
When the apostle John saw Jesus Christ he 'fell at his feet as
dead' (Rev. 1:17). But note that John fell 'as dead', he did
not fall down convulsing at Jesus' feet in some sort of ecstatic
trance (John 18:3). Note also that before Paul (Saul) was converted
he and they who journeyed with him to persecute the church "were
all fallen to the earth" when Jesus spoke to him, but after
his conversion neither Paul nor any of those whom he ministered
to were 'slain in the Spirit' falling to the ground in convulsions

- EVANGELICALS PROMOTING NECROMANCY - A REVIEW OF 'HAVE HEART'
Friday Church News Notes, January 27, 2012 - The following is
a review of Have Heart: Bridging the Gulf between Heaven and
Hell by Steve and Sarah Berger, which is about the death of a
child. The following is excerpted from a review by T.A. McMahon
of The Berean Call. Have Heart is recommended by Chuck Missler,
Greg Laurie, James Robison, and others. “The first part
of the Bergers’ book [contains] wonderful comfort and some
sound biblical counsel. ... Sadly, however, midway through Hake
Heart, the Bergers take leave of their statements regarding the
objective Word of God and begin introducing their subjective
experiences involving their deceased son, Josiah. Dreams become
a vehicle of communication between Josiah and his family and
friends. ... Communication through dreams featuring a deceased
loved one quickly led to direct communication: ‘Only two
weeks after Josiah went to Heaven, I (Sarah) made it a habit
to talk to Josiah. ... I would then be in instant conversation
with Jesus and Siah [Josiah]’ (p. 82). Sarah declared to
her son that she needed ‘to be involved with your life even
now’ (p. 82). ... The authors introduce many things that
are allegedly taking place in heaven that are not specifically
taught in the Bible. ... They offer support for the legitimacy
of their view experientially by adding that ‘several people
in our family and inner circle of friends have experienced similar
meetings with Josiah,’ including their pastor. The latter
declares, ‘The next thing I knew, Josiah came into [the
church] sanctuary ... and he got down on one knee and bent to
speak into my ear’ (pp. 99-100). Much of what the Bergers
hold for their hope in heaven is not stated in the Bible. ...
They transfer things they love about their temporal life into
the eternal realm, particularly their family relationships, and
they see that relationship continuing with their deceased son:
‘We want all of us to continue to have relationship with
Siah right up until the day that we are face-to-face in Heaven
with him’ (p. 103). Just because someone wants it doesn’t
make it so. We know that our relationships with unbelieving family
members will not continue in heaven. How joyful, then, would
a family unit be there with perhaps multiple missing members?
Will there be family relationships in heaven? No matter what
our rationale, Scripture simply does not tell us. We do know
that there is neither marrying nor those given in marriage in
heaven (Mat. 22:30). ... One of the dangers of this book for
a person who doesn’t study the Word of God for himself (which
is epidemic today) is that he is disarmed by the multiple claims
of biblical veracity, which give way to human speculations--which
are then accepted as biblical truth. With no scriptural support,
the Bergers write, ‘We know that [Josiah] can see us, hear
us, and even be involved, not only in our lives but also in the
lives of his friends. We are continually hearing of Siah coming
to friends in dreams....The dreams are incredibly profound and
always prove God’s Word, point to the glory of God, and
compel us to get closer to Jesus’ (p. 104). They add, ‘We
mean no disrespect to the prophets, but the idea of Siah being
able to observe the choices we make here on earth is way more
motivating as we seek to live for God moment-by-moment...’
(p. 107; italics added). ... In their attempt to comfort those
who have also lost loved ones to death, the Bergers fail to give
the biblical warnings of spiritual deception, especially since
their grieving state may make them terribly vulnerable to Satan’s
ploys, such as transforming himself ‘into an angel of light’

promoting same-sex 'marriage' in its Life With Archie series.
A newly-introduced character, Kevin Keller, gets married to his
homosexual partner in a full-blown wedding, 'Walking down the
aisle, surrounded by friends and family' ('Archie Comics,' Christian
Post, Jan. 11, 2012). The smiling male couple appear on the cover
of issue No. 16, January 2012, under a banner which says 'Just
Married.' The comic publisher reported that reception to the
new storyline has been 'enthusiastic' and there has been a surge
in readership. This reminds us that the pop media is not morally
and spiritually neutral, not even when it comes to children’s
comics, cartoons, and toys. Often it is more about philosophical
brainwashing than entertainment, and God’s people must walk
in wisdom and godly caution as we live as strangers and pilgrims
in this fallen world. The Bible says that the devil is the 'god

- (NewsCore) - President Barack Obama signed a $662 billion
defense authorization bill Saturday, while expressing "serious
reservations" over new language regulating the detention
and prosecution of suspected terrorists. Obama had originally
threatened to veto the legislation over that language, particularly
a section mandating military custody for suspected al Qaeda terrorists
captured in the US. The administration relented, however, after
negotiating changes to the bill and determining that some of
the controversial language may be interpreted loosely. The National
Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 approves funding
for US troop pay raises as well as action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It also suspends some aid to Pakistan and hits Iran with harsh
new sanctions.
- "Ultimately, I decided to sign this bill not only because
of the critically important services it provides for our forces
and their families and the national security programs it authorizes,
but also because the Congress revised provisions that otherwise
would have jeopardized the safety, security, and liberty of the
American people," Obama said in a statement. "Moving

described below in a manner that best preserves the flexibility
on which our safety depends and upholds the values on which this

without using dollars and will encourage the development of a
market for companies involved in the exchanges, the Japanese
government said over the holiday weekend.
- Japan will also apply to buy Chinese bonds next year, allowing

China, the Japanese government said. Encouraging direct yen-
yuan settlement should reduce currency risks and trading costs.
China also announced a 70 billion yuan ($11 billion) currency
swap agreement with Thailand last week as part of a plan outlined
in October to promote the use of the yuan in the Association
of Southeast Asia Nations and establish free trade zones. Central
banks from Thailand to Nigeria plan to start buying yuan assets
as the global Yuan market continues to be developed quickly.
Investing in Chinese debt has become easier for central banks
as issuance of yuan-denominated bonds in Hong Kong more than
tripled to 112 billion yuan ($18 billion) this year, and institutions
were granted quotas to invest onshore. Japan will start to buy
“a small amount” of China’s bonds, a Japanese
government official said, on condition of anonymity because of
the ministry’s policy, without elaborating. Yes, it is small,

an order Tuesday banning virginity tests for female detainees,
months after several women alleged they were subjected to such
examinations following a March protest in Cairo's Tahrir Square.
The ruling comes in the case of Samira Ibrahim, a 25-year-old
marketing manager who took the country's military led-government
to court in August, alleging she was among those subjected to
the test after her arrest during the March 9 protest. She said
she faced death threats after bringing the case. "Justice
has been served today," Ibrahim told CNN. "These tests
are a crime and also do not comply with the constitution, which
states equality between men and woman. I will not give up my

- The Federal Register published a notice of December 28 providing
a brief overview on a behind closed doors Homeland Security Advisory
Council (HSAC) meeting to be held at TSA headquarters in Arlington,
Virginia, on January 9, 2012. The HSAC was created by executive
order on March 19, 2002. “The HSAC will meet for the purpose
of receiving sensitive operational information from senior DHS
leadership,” the notice posted on the Cryptome.org website
states. “The meeting will address threats to our homeland
security, border security, examine U.S. Coast Guard counterterrorism
efforts; provide an operational update of the Transportation
Security Administration’s (TSA) Frequent Traveler Program;
examine evolving threats in cyber security; and provide information
on the threat of an electromagnetic pulse attack and its associated
vulnerabilities.”
- The DHS notice explains that disclosing further details on
the meeting would not be in the public interest, although it
states that “there will be material presented regarding
the latest viable threats against the United States, and how
DHS and other Federal agencies plan to address those threats.”
The DHS Office of Counterterrorism will present a briefing on
the Department’s implementation plan to counter domestic
violent extremism. Providing this information to the public would
provide terrorists with a road map regarding the Department’s
plan to counter their actions, and thus, allow them to take different
actions to avoid counterterrorism efforts.

detention bill passed in Senate. Exactly 220 years to the date
after the Bill of Rights was ratified, the US Senate today voted
86 to 13 in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act for
Fiscal Year 2012, allowing the indefinite detention and torture
of Americans. As RT reported earlier, one provision in NDAA FY2012
will allow for the reinstatement of "enhanced interrogation
techniques," essentially making waterboarding and forms
of psychological torture a very possible reality for anyone America

- HOW CONGRESS IS SIGNING ITS OWN ARREST WARRANTS IN THE NDAA
CITIZEN ARREST BILL
- I never thought I would have to write this: but—incredibly—Congress
has now passed the National Defense Appropriations Act, with
Amendment 1031, which allows for the military detention of American
citizens. The amendment is so loosely worded that any American
citizen could be held without due process. The language of this
bill can be read to assure Americans that they can challenge
their detention — but most people do not realize what this
means: at Guantanamo and in other military prisons, one’s
lawyer’s calls are monitored, witnesses for one’s defense
are not allowed to testify, and one can be forced into nudity
and isolation. Incredibly, ninety-three Senators voted to support
this bill and now most of Congress: a roster of names that will
live in infamy in the history of our nation, and never be expunged
from the dark column of the history books. They may have supported
this bill because—although it’s hard to believe—they
think the military will only arrest active members of Al Qaida;
or maybe, less naively, they believe that ‘at most’,
low-level dissenting figures, activists, or troublesome protesters
might be subjected to military arrest. But they are forgetting
something critical: history shows that those who signed this
bill will soon be subject to arrest themselves.
- Our leaders appear to be supporting this bill thinking that
they will always be what they are now, in the fading light of
a once-great democracy — those civilian leaders who safely
and securely sit in freedom and DIRECT the military. In inhabiting
this bubble, which their own actions are about to destroy, they

in jeopardy by their own hands, and ignoring history and its
