- : MORE GREETINGS to all and the newcomers to this list. We'd
like to introduce ourselves. George and Rita Williams founded
this ministry. We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years.
We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking
out against Scientology. Six months later God led us to the truth:
out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at the time we
were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20 years. [George
passed away to heaven in March 2003 and Nicholas Stivers joined
the ministry as Vice President.]
- The Holy Spirit brought us to information about all the cults
and the present development of the New World Order. We began
bringing our research to you. Because all the research was already
done, we decided to build a library within Cephas Ministry. Our
newsletters are not designed to provoke
anger or resistance to evil which is strictly prohibited in Scripture.
It is to shed light on activities by those who would deceive
the elect by devious methods and systematic plans.

- The focus of these newsletters is to prove why we had
to leave the world system. We are called 'Watchmen on the
Wall' which God always had during the Old / New Testament Times.
- To understand what is happening, one has to know the Bible
to compare notes.
- The first section is about the church.
The news about churches is unedited unless indicated by Ednotes.
The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
which doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word of God has
undergone many changes to fit the present mode. The Bible calls
for a falling away from the truth before Jesus
comes back for His Bride, the true believers called 'Ekklesia.'
Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the Bible is true
from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, so called democratizing what is left. One third of the
world still remains to be taken over. It again proves that we
are moving to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied
in the Bible.
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings with what is happening in Israel. We describe and watch
for signs of the coming Tribulation to confirm that we are moving
into that space and time.
- Watchmen on the wall do not solicit memberships. We have
an email group that gets information when we upload new information
and a newsletter whenever it is possible time wise. We love the
Lord with all our hearts and minds and we love all people God
has created but especially those who love our Lord and Savior,

- TO THOSE CALLED TO BE SAINTS WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS:
- Many have written, asking why they haven't heard from Prophet
Young for the past week. Here is why…
- December 23rd, 6 P.M., the 911 operator was called and Prophet
Young was rushed to the Emergency Room at Florida Hospital South,
in Orlando, Florida, complaining severe shortness of breath.
Upon arriving at the E.R., x-rays, blood work and a barrage of
other tests quickly determined that Prophet Young was in the
thralls of Congestive Heart Failure. His lungs were filling with
fluid and it made it almost impossible for him to breathe on
his own. Seeing that he would soon be unable to breathe, he was
placed of a breathing machine. Further tests revealed other problems,
Asthma and pneumonia. I cannot tell you what fear and sadness
raced through my heart as my husband grasped my arm and through
gasps for breath said, "If I die tonight, I want you and
the children to know I love you!" Through a flood of tears,
I let him know that we did. My husband was placed on the eighth
floor Cardiac Unit. For the past seven days he has undergone
several more tests and many antibiotics. His arms and hands a
black and blue from all the sticks, pokes and prodding. The fluid
was removed from his lungs and he has been stabilized to the
place that I could bring him home from the hospital TODAY. He
isn't out of the woods yet, but, we have him home. He is still
very weak, but he wanted me to inform you about his prayer needs.

N.C. I will be flying his body back to Amarillo for funeral service
and burial but arrangements are incomplete at time. There will

- A PRAISE REPORT: Jamma of Rapture Watch sent the following
message a few days ago. ".. The devastating onset of my
cancer was so sudden and totally unexpected. Acts of selfless
kindness such as you have shown can only be recognized by myself
as miraculous encouragement from sovereign Lord during such trying
times. I have now completed what they anticipate to be my last
round of chemo therapy and the news was good so far. The cancer
that had saturated my lymph system and had filled my liver with
tumors has been found in remission... I completed the bone marrow
biopsy and it came back free from cancer. The Lord has been gentle
with me through all my treatments. I am now just waiting on the
final healing of this body from the Chemo-toxins..." Halleluja
to God for hearing our prayers to give Jamma more time for his
ministry. He has been actively engaged in teaching the great
Gospel for twenty plus years, submitted to our glorious God the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and set free from Islam.
We thank our Lord for His healing of Jamma and pray that God
will watch over his recuperation to reestablish him fully to
his place in ministry to Christians, as a husband to Sharon and
father of four God loving children. Amen

- 'JEWS FOR JESUS' SUES GOOGLE OVER BLOG
- Reuters, via XTRAMSN, UK - Dec. 23, 2005 - "Christian
evangelical group Jews for Jesus is suing Google Inc, saying
a Web log hosted through the Internet search leader's Blogspot
service infringes its trademark. The suit, filed in US District
Court in New York on Wednesday, seeks to force Google to give
Jews for Jesus control of the site as well as unspecified monetary
damages. "We have a right to our own name and Google has
allowed the use of our name on Blogspot without our permission,"
said Susan Perlman, associate executive director with Jews for
Jesus.
- "Our reputation is at stake," Perlman told Reuters.
Google's Blogspot and Blogger services allow people to set up
Web logs, or online journals known as "blogs" for short,
for free. A Google spokesman was not immediately available for
comment on the lawsuit. The disputed blog, http://jewsforjesus.blogspot.com,
was started in January 2005 by someone taking the name &
'Whistle Blower' and airing critical views of the San Francisco-based
organization, which seeks to convert Jews to Christianity. The
site has only three entries, the last of which was made on May
9. Comments on the blog showed that Jews for Jesus attempted
to persuade Whistle Blower to transfer the domain to the group

- POLYGAMIST TRIAL DEFENDANT LOSES CHALLENGE TO CONSTITUTIONAL
BAN ON POLYGAMY - AP, via the Daily Herald, USA - Dec. 24, 2005
- KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) -- An accused Colorado City polygamist
lost his bid to have the state's constitutional ban on the practice
overturned when state prosecutors dropped one of three charges
he was facing. Randolph J. Barlow, 32, had been charged with
two counts of sexual assault and one charge of sexual conduct
with a minor. The underage-sex charge was dropped Thursday and
a Mohave County judge then denied several motions his lawyer
had filed, including one challenging the constitutional ban.
Dropping the underage-sex charge makes the case solely one of
sexual assault and guts the defense strategy to mount a religious
defense, defense lawyer Bruce Griffen said.
- "The state's strategic maneuver ... has ruined the vast
majority of what we were going to do today," Griffen said.
- Barlow and seven other Colorado City men face sex charges
related to their marriages with girls younger than 18. They were
already legally married to other women when they married the
underaged girls.
- All are members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints, centered in Colorado City and nearby Hildale,
Utah. The sect splintered from the mainstream church and believes
that polygamy is a protected and sacred aspect of their religion.
County prosecutor Matt Smith said the victim in Barlow's case
is reluctant to testify.
- A second man set for a court hearing Thursday, David Romaine
Bateman, didn't show up, and Griffen told Judge James Chavez
he had mistakenly told his client he wasn't due in court. FLDS
The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
is a sect of Mormonism. Mormonism in turn is a cult of Christianity.
The FLDS is also considered to be a cult of Christianity. Sociologically,the
group is a high-control cult.
- Chavez set a new court date for Bateman and set trial for
Barlow for March 13. The other six defendants are being tried
before another Mohave County judge. The eight men were indicted
in June and July. The Arizona attorney general's office worked
with Mohave County prosecutors to obtain the indictments. The
church's leader, Warren Jeffs, 49, was also indicted in Arizona
in early June on counts including conspiracy to commit sexual
conduct with a minor. He remains a fugitive. Capturing Jeffs
is considered to be a key in ending the turmoil in the two towns,
where polygamist men marry one wife legally and then take other
women as so-called spiritual wives.
- When Jeffs was indicted, he was believed to have been at
a compound near Eldorado, Texas, where a four-story temple is
being built by his sect. Since then, the FBI has been trying
to track him down, and the agency has said he could also be in
Colorado or another sect town in British Colombia. In November,
Jeffs' brother, Seth Steed Jeffs, 32, of Hildale was charged

- CRUCIFIED NUN DIED OF 'ADRENALIN OVERDOSE'
AFP, via IOL.co.za, France - Dec. 24, 2005 - BUCHAREST - A Romanian
nun crucified by a priest and other nuns in an exorcism rite
was still alive when she was rescued, but died of an overdose
of adrenalin mistakenly administered by a medic, press reports
said Saturday. The revelations emerged from a new autopsy carried
out at the demand of priest Daniel Corogeanu, who has been charged
with four nuns, from a monastery at Tanacu in north-eastern Romania,
with the illegal confinement and murder of Irina Cornici, 23.
The five have pleaded not guilty and allegedly told police that
Cornici was possessed of the devil.
- The latest development dominated Saturday's press, with the
mass circulation Libertatea headlining the story "killed
by the doctors." Cornici was chained to a cross, gagged
and deprived of food and water for several days at the remote
monastery in June. Authorities had maintained the treatment proved
fatal and she was already dead when other nuns called for an
ambulance. But the new autopsy, carried out after the nun's body
was exhumed in September, showed that she died after a medic
in the ambulance injected her with six doses of adrenalin which
over-stimulated her heart, causing it to fail. The five were
expelled from their order following their arrest, but the case
sparked an outcry in Romania against "mediaeval" practices
tolerated by the Orthodox Church. Corogeanu, 29, was unrepentant,
telling an AFP reporter at the monastery before celebrating a
funeral mass for Cornici in June, "God has performed a miracle

- POPE BENEDICT IN FIRST CHRISTMAS ADDRESS
- December 25, 2005 - ITN - Pope Benedict, in his first Christmas
address, has urged humanity to unite against terrorism, poverty
and environmental blight. He called for a
"new world order" to correct economic
imbalances. The Pope made his comments to tens of thousands
of pilgrims gathered under umbrellas in a rainy St Peter square
for his "Urbi et Orbi" (to the city and the world)
message and blessing.
In his address, telecast live from the central balcony of St
Peter's Basilica to tens of millions of people in nearly 40 countries,
he also urged his listeners not to let technological achievements
blind them to true human values. He said humanity should look
to the Christ child for encouragement in times of difficulty
and fear. "A united humanity will be able to confront the
many troubling problems of the present time: from the menace
of terrorism to the humiliating poverty in which millions of
human beings live, from the proliferation of weapons to the pandemics
and the environmental destruction which threatens the future
of our planet," he said.
- "Do not fear; put your trust in him! The life-giving
power of his light is an incentive for building a new world order
based on just ethical and economic relationships," he
said, speaking in Italian. Marching bands of the Swiss Guard
and Italian police played for the crowd near a larger-than-life
nativity scene, making for a festive atmosphere despite the rain.
The address by the leader of the world's some 1.1 billion Roman
Catholics was different in style than those of his predecessor
John Paul, who died last April. John Paul wrote his Christmas
addresses in free-style verse and resembled poetry, whereas Benedict's
was in prose like a normal homily or speech. After the address,
Benedict wished the world a Happy Christmas in 33 languages,
including Arabic, Hebrew, Swahili, Japanese and Latin. His predecessor

Benedict XVI of setting back Christian unity by granting indulgences

indulgences it likes but stressing the things that divide [churches]
crushes the hopes of those who are working for

SUSPECTED LESBIAN STUDENTS SUE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOR EXPULSION
- FOX NEWS, December 29, 2005 - RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Two 16-year-olds
who were expelled from a Lutheran high school because they were
suspected of being lesbians have sued the school for invasion
of privacy and discrimination. The lawsuit, filed last week in
Riverside County Superior Court, seeks the girls' re-enrollment
at the small California Lutheran High School, unspecified damages
and an injunction barring the school from excluding gays and
lesbians. Kirk D. Hanson, an attorney for the girls, said the
expulsion traumatized and humiliated them.
- "Their entire support network was pulled out from under
them because of suspicions about their sexual orientation,"
said Hanson, who declined to say whether his clients are lesbians...
The lawsuit alleges that the school's principal, Gregory Bork,
called the girls into his office, grilled them on their sexual
orientation and "coerced" one girl into saying she

Jewish Woman Asks Restaurant To Remove Sign, 'Jesus Is The Reason

- RALEIGH, N.C. December 14, 2005 - Everyone celebrates religion
and holidays in their own individual ways, but currently there
are questions about whether the two should be more connected.
One of the latest places involved in the controversy is a McDonald's
restaurant in Raleigh. The sign at McDonald's on the corner of
Falls of Neuse and Spring Forest Road reads: "Merry Christmas,
Jesus is the Reason for the Season." It is a holiday message
that Amanda Alpert thinks comes on a little too strongly. "It
offends me because it specifically talks about Jesus, Merry Christmas.
It doesn't give credit to anyone else," Alpert said. Alpert
called the McDonald's corporate office in Atlanta and requested
that the sign be changed to the politically correct Happy Holidays.
The response was the owner has the right to do what she wants
with the sign. "I care because I'm Jewish, and the reason

- PAUL CROUCH RECOVERS FROM SURGERY
- [Editor's note: I happen to hear that Paul Crouch was in
the hospital and interestingly his son announced that Hal Lindsey
would be coming back to his program. I had not heard that he
had been taken off TBN. Could it be that Paul's fall encouraged
them to undo their decision? I know Hal Lindsey has his enemies
but we never did find any problems with him nor did any of the
researchers write about him. Was Hal Lindsey simply too Scriptural
for TBN?
- Last I listened to Hal he had discovered the problems with
the Christian Right Movement and shared it. That was encouraging.
The issue that got him zeroed out was about Muslims. From an

- NBC CONSIDERS NEW SHOW FEATURING A COMPLETELY DYSFUNCTIONAL

January 6, NBC will begin a new series entitled The Book
of Daniel.
- While the public has not seen the program, NBC is promoting
"The Book of Daniel" as a serious drama about Christian
people and the Christian faith. The main character is Daniel
Webster, a drug-addicted Episcopal priest whose wife depends
heavily on her mid-day martinis.
- Webster regularly sees and talks with a very unconventional
white-robed, bearded Jesus. The Webster family
is rounded out by a 23-year-old homosexual Republican son,
a 16-year-old daughter who is a drug dealer, and
a 16-year-old adopted son who is having sex with the bishop's
daughter. At the office, his lesbian secretary
is sleeping with his sister-in-law.
- NBC and the mainstream media call it "edgy,"
"challenging" and "courageous." The
series is written by Jack Kenny, a practicing homosexual
who describes himself as being "in Catholic recovery,"
and is interested in Buddhist teachings about reincarnation
and isn't sure exactly how he defines God and/or
Jesus. "I don't necessarily know that all the myth
surrounding him (Jesus) is true," he said.

2005 - www.wayoflife.org - An article in The Economist for December
3, 2005, analyzed "the reconciliation between religious
America and corporate America." This merger has
occurred because of the weakness and deep compromise of American
Christianity and the vast amount of money that is spent today
on "religious products," an estimated $6.8 billion
in 2003. The "Left Behind" novels alone have raked
in $650 million ("Onward, Christian Shoppers," The
Economist, Dec. 3, 2005). Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven
Life" is the best-selling hardcover book in American history,
with 25 million copies sold. The secular world has not been slow
to cash in on this bonanza, beginning in the late 1980s with
the purchase of Zondervan by Rupert Murdoch's HarperCollins.
(Zondervan thus became a part the same publishing house as Regan
books, the publisher of "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star,"
and Avon books, publisher of "The Satanic Bible.")
- Other secular corporations have followed suit. The same trend
has occurred in Christian music. For example, Warner Music Group,
a division of AOL Time Warner, owns Myrrh Records. Time Warner,
who also owns Atlantic, Elektra, London-Sire, Reprise, and Warner
Bros. Records, and has on its roster such vile secular rock artists
as Green Day, Madonna, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Zomba Music
owns Brentwood-Benson Music, which has the world's largest Christian
music publishing catalog. Thus, a large percentage of the money
paid to license Christian music today goes into the coffers of
a large secular corporation. Zomba also owns such sensual acts
as Britney Spears, 'N Sync, and the Backstreet Boys, and others
whose names alone are too vile to mention. That great lover of
God, Chevrolet, sponsored one of Michael W. Smith's worship tours,
and those giants of the Christian faith, Ford, Coca-Cola,
and Bank of America, sponsored T.D. Jakes' megafest this summer.
- The trend is being repeated now in Hollywood, following the
breakaway success of Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ"
movie. The Disney Corporation, which has organized "gay
days" at Disney World, has jumped on the religion bandwagon
by producing C.S. Lewis's "The Lion, the Witch, and the
Wardrobe," and gullible evangelicals are thrilled. The
Word of God is very clear about these unholy
alliances. Can you imagine Paul and Barnabas seeking
the world's sponsorship for their missionary journey! "Be
ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship
hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath
light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial?

The Russian Orthodox Church has suspended its contacts with the
(Lutheran) Church of Sweden after a vote by the Swedish church
to introduce a service of blessing for same-sex civil partnerships.
"It is with great disappointment and sorrow that we learned
that the Lutheran church of Sweden not only failed to oppose
the so-called same-sex marriages, but also issued a decree to
establish an official blessing rite for those marriages,"
the Russian church's Holy Synod said in a statement. The assembly
of the Church of Sweden, which accounts for about 7 million of
Sweden's 9 million people, voted on 27 October to establish a
blessing in churches for same-sex couples who have signed a civil
partnership agreement, although the ceremony is not called marriage.

- Groups using federal funds are accused of proselytizing.
WASHINGTON -- Faith-based groups are barred from proselytizing
or engaging in other obvious religious activity when using
federal funds to encourage teenagers to abstain from premarital
sex or help substance abusers fight addictions. But some groups
may have run afoul of that federal prohibition. Lawsuits by the
American Civil Liberties Union, Americans United for Separation
of Church and State, and the Freedom from Religion Foundation
accuse the faith-based organizations and the government of violating
the constitutional separation of church and state. Meanwhile,
experts say the Bush administration is doing too little to monitor
religious groups receiving federal money. Critics cite the 'Silver
Ring Thing' program that preaches sexual abstinence to teens.
It is known for pulsing, high-tech, multimedia shows at which
teenagers can buy silver rings to symbolize their pledge to avoid
sex until marriage. In the past year, the Health and Human Services
Department suspended a grant of more than $1 million to Silver
Ring Thing after the ACLU of Massachusetts sued the department,
accusing it of mixing religion with the sexual abstinence message.
At the shows, Silver Ring Thing openly urged teenagers to commit
their lives to Jesus Christ, and the rings it sold were inscribed
with a New Testament verse. "When the government looked
into the situation in our case, they obviously came to the same
conclusion, that in fact their grant was not being used properly
and consistently with the Constitution," said Daniel Mach,
a 1st Amendment expert at the Jenner & Block law firm that
has represented the Massachusetts ACLU in the case. Experts on
faith-based groups that receive federal funds say vague government
rules have contributed to the situation, as has a lack of government
monitoring. Although Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services
and Jewish Family Services long ago learned to clearly separate
religion from the government-funded social services they provide,
experts say some new recipients of federal funding--often groups
operating out of churches, synagogues, mosques and storefronts--are
less careful. And critics say the monitoring of these groups
has not kept pace with the increase in applicants for money since
President Bush began lowering their barriers to federal funding
in 2001.

services," Fredrica Kramer, a scholar at the Urban Institute,
a research organization here, said at a recent panel discussion

- RICK WARREN PREDICTS A "NEW REFORMATION"
- In his appearance before the Pew Forum in May 2005, Rick
Warren predicted a "New Reformation" or a "Third
Great Awakening" for America. He said: "You know, 500
years ago, the first Reformation with Luther and then Calvin,
was about beliefs. I think a new reformation is going to be about
behavior. The first Reformation was about creeds; I think this
one will be about deeds. ... The first Reformation actually split
Christianity into dozens and then hundreds of different segments.
I think this one is actually going to bring them together. Now,
you're never going to get Christians, of all their stripes and
varieties, to agree on all of the different doctrinal disputes
and things like that, but what I am seeing them agree on are
the purposes of the church. ... Last week I spoke to 4,000 pastors
at my church who came from over 100 denominations in over 50
countries. Now, that's wide spread. We had Catholic priests,
we had Pentecostal ministers, we had Lutheran bishops, we had
Anglican bishops, we had Baptist preachers. They're all there

about beliefs or creeds or doctrinal purity; it is rather
about "the purpose of the church." Let me see if I
understand this. It is not important that a church be biblical
or that it hold biblical doctrine or even that it preach a biblical
gospel (e.g., Catholic priests). It is only important that "churches"
agree on their purpose? How can a church have a biblical purpose
when it does not have biblical doctrine? How can it have a biblical
purpose when it preaches a false sacramental gospel? If sound
doctrine is not a foundational issue, I wonder why Paul instructed
Timothy to "charge some that they teach NO OTHER DOCTRINE"
(1 Tim. 1:3)? I wonder why he didn't rather instruct Timothy
to go easy on the doctrine thing? Could it be that the apostle
Paul's teaching is contrary to Rick Warren's? I, for one, am

- BATTLE CREEK, MI – The graduation speech of 2004 Battle
Creek Christian School Valedictorian Crystal Finn, delivered
earlier this month, sent shockwaves through the audience, not
for what she said, but for what she didn't say. "We all
loved and trusted Crystal, so we didn't demand a copy of her
speech like we've done with past valedictorians," BCCC Principal
Donald Roop told THO. "We saw that her title was 'God's
Perfect Plan,' so we put it in the program, and we figured we
all knew what was coming. But we were wrong. And we don't like
surprises." The surprise of which Roop speaks came at the
end of Finn's speech. It wasn't a shocking statement, but rather
an omission that school officials are now saying rises to the
level of plagiarism. The problem: although Finn talked at length
about how God has a plan and purpose for each of us, she failed
to make mention of Rick Warren's best-selling book, "The
Purpose Driven Life," which school officials say was obviously
the source behind the address. "I was sitting there listening
to the speech, just waiting for her to start talking about how
Rick Warren is a genius, and how his prophetic words inspired
her speech," said Vice Principal Kenneth Dyer. "Before
I knew what was happening, she was saying, 'God bless all of
you' and turning around to take her seat. I was absolutely speechless."
Finn maintains that any similarities between her speech and Rick
Warren's book are entirely coincidental. "The only thing
I know about that book is that my church was doing some big 40
day study with it or something," Finn told THO. "I
clearly cited the only source I used for that speech. It's called
the Bible." But BCCC officials aren't buying that explanation
for a minute. "Right. Her speech is basically an outline
of a book that's been on the New York Times bestseller list for
months, and we're all supposed to just accept that this was just
a coincidence," Roop said. "I suppose someone giving
a speech on the prayer of Jabez a couple of years ago without
mentioning Bruce Wilkinson would have been just fine. That's
in the Bible, too. Give me a break." Despite their outrage,
officials at BCCC are at a loss for a way to discipline Finn
since she has already graduated from the school. "Revoking
her diploma would be unprecedented, but we are seriously considering
it," Dyer said. "We know that God will be the ultimate
judge, but if we can throw a little judgment in for good measure,
we're happy to do it." Finn doesn't seem concerned about
any potential punishments from BCCC. "They can do whatever
they want with my diploma," she said. "I've already
been accepted to Bob Jones University, so I am no longer beholden
to the legalistic culture of BCCC. Freedom, here I come!"

- WASHINGTON (AP) - "A classified radiation monitoring
program, conducted without warrants, has targeted private U.S.
property in an effort to prevent an al-Qaida attack, federal
law enforcement officials confirmed Friday.
- While declining to provide details including the number of
cities and sites monitored, the officials said the air monitoring
took place since the Sept. 11 attacks and from publicly accessible
areas - which they said made warrants and court orders unnecessary.
U.S. News and World Report first reported the program on Friday.
The magazine said the monitoring was conducted at more than 100
Muslim sites in the Washington, D.C. area - including Maryland
and Virginia suburbs - and at least five other cities when threat
levels had risen: Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, New York and Seattle.
- The magazine said that at its peak, three vehicles in Washington
monitored 120 sites a day, nearly all of them Muslim targets
identified by the FBI. Targets included mosques, homes and businesses,
the magazine said. The revelation of the surveillance program
came just days after The New York Times disclosed that the Bush
administration spied on suspected terrorist targets in the United
States without court orders. President Bush has said he approved
the program to protect Americans from attack. Ibrahim Hooper,
spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Washington-based
civil rights group, said Friday the program ``comes as a complete
shock to us and everyone in the Muslim community.''
- ``This creates the appearance that Muslims are targeted simply
for being Muslims. I don't think this is the message the government
wants to send at this time,'' he said. Hooper said his organization
has serious concerns about the constitutionality of monitoring
on private property without a court order. Brian Roehrkasse,
a Justice Department spokesman, said Friday that the administration
``is very concerned with a growing body of sensitive reporting
that continues to show al-Qaida has a clear intention to obtain
and ultimately use chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear''
weapons or high energy explosives. To meet that threat, the government
``monitors the air for imminent threats to health and safety,''
but acts only on specific information about a potential attack
without targeting any individual or group, he said. ``FBI agents
do not intrude across any constitutionally protected areas without
the proper legal authority,'' the spokesman said. In a 2001 decision,
the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that police must get warrants before
using devices that search through walls for criminal activity.
That decision struck down the use without a warrant of a heat-sensing
device that led to marijuana charges against an Oregon man.
- Roehrkasse said the Justice Department believes that case
does not apply to air monitoring in publicly accessible areas.

forget I even have it. It's part of me, like taking insulin,”
said Molly Phillips who suffers from diabetes. Molly she had
the chip implanted in her arm after a medical scare landed her
in the hospital. Doctor’s didn't know what medication she
was on. “If I’m in that circumstance again, they would
scan my arm, pull up my info and have it right there within seconds,”
she said. It was originally used for tracking lost pets, but
the FDA approved VeriChip implants in humans last year. Each
chip contains a unique 16 digit number that when scanned, connects
doctors to an internet database that retrieves medical records
instantly. “Patients in our emergency trauma come in very
sick and it's the sickest patients that you need accurate information,
medical information up front. In a very timely fashion,”
said Dr. Joseph Feldman. Privacy advocates are concerned the
personal medical records could be abused. But Molly says for
her, there's no downside.

(RFID) computer chips inserted into Graafstra's hands make it

that I need to get access to. In the worst case scenario, if

he is promoting the technology. "RFID is for me." The

fact Porter Goss, head broom sweeper at the CIA, recently told
the Turkish government the United States plans to attack Iran
and Syria would be headline splashing news in the New York Times

with the exception of United Press International and Reuters.
As for the latter, only Goss' meeting with Turkish officials
on the "separatist terrorist organization" known as

impending attack, while the UPI mentioned it in the fourth paragraph,
stating: "Goss said that Iran sees Turkey as an enemy and
will 'export its regime,' warning Ankara to be ready for a possible

PHX News was more specific and noted the lack of attention to
the story: "In an overlooked story, the Turkish press reported
last week that CIA Director Porter Goss went to Ankara recently
and informed the Turkish government that Iran already has nuclear
weapons and they should be ready for 'a possible US air operation
against Iran and Syria.'" The Turkish Press added more details:
During his recent visit to Ankara, CIA Director Porter Goss reportedly
brought three dossiers on Iran to Ankara. Goss is said to have
asked for Turkey's support for Washington's policy against Iran's
nuclear activities, charging that Tehran had supported terrorism
and taken part in activities against Turkey. Goss also asked
Ankara to be ready for a possible US air operation against Iran
and Syria. Goss, who came to Ankara just after FBI Director Robert
Mueller's visit, brought up Iran's alleged attempts to develop
nuclear weapons. It was said that Goss first told Ankara that
Iran has nuclear weapons and this situation was creating a huge
threat for both Turkey and other states in the region. Diplomatic
sources say that Washington wants Turkey to coordinate with its
Iran policies. The second dossier is about Iran's stance on terrorism.

days, December 21st - when our first Hindenburg Omen (of whatever
cluster is coming) - and Thursday December 22nd, the Federal
Reserve has conducted one of the largest two-day Repo injections
of money into the system since back in September 2001. On Wednesday
they added $18.0 billion in reserves and on Thursday they added
another $20.0 billion. Is this a coincidence, coming right as
we get another Hindenburg Omen? Probably not. Is something high-risk
going on behind the scenes here? Let's review some facts at the
Fed. On November 10th, 2005, shortly after appointing Bernanke
to replace Greenbackspan, the Fed mysteriously announced with
little comment and no palatable justification that they will
hide M-3 effective March 2006. M-3 has been the main staple of
money supply measurement and transparent disclosure since the
Fed was founded back in 1913. It is the key monetary aggregate
that includes Fed Repo transactions, that mechanism whereby the
Fed increases reserves. The date when M-3 will start being hidden
also happens to be the exact month that Iran will declare economic
war against the U.S. Dollar by trading its oil in Petro-Euros
on its new bourse. But there is more. The Federal Reserve currently
has three vacancies within the 19 top Regional Bank and Board
of Governor spots. Why? Part of ongoing wholesale resignations.
The latest is from the Philly Fed. Fed President and Open Market
Committee member Anthony Santomero has announced his resignation
after only a brief year and a half tenure. Very unusual. Hey,
Fed Presidents are treated like gods. They have enormous power,
prestige, and presence. Why quit? He is far from alone. Over
the past few years no less than six Federal Reserve Regional
Bank Presidents have resigned. This is highly unusual.
An immediate impact is that we are about to have a largely inexperienced
batch of individuals conducting monetary policy in the United
States. So of course, the first thing they will do is hide the
key money figures. Two positions for the Board of Governors (there
are 7)have been open for quite a while. Plus six of the 12 Regional
Head spots have turned over during the past few years.
If a substantial amount of oil transactions will suddenly be
conducted in Euros instead of Dollars, this should put pressure
on the Dollar as folks exchange Dollars for Euros, jeopardizing
the Dollar's status as the world's reserve currency, making
it more difficult to print all the dollars the Fed wants to without
driving the Dollar into the ground. Iraq threatened to do what
Iran has threatened to do just before we went in looking for
weapons of mass disappearance. If the Dollar tanks, Treasuries
might not be far behind. If Treasuries tank, kiss the Housing-driven
boom goodbye. Could the Master Planners be hiding M-3 because
they anticipate they may have to monetize the Federal debt, buy
our own Treasury Bonds during the coming economic attack against
the Dollar? That would require a ton of new fresh money creation
- too much to disclose. Could it be some folks at the top of
the Fed do not have the stomach to be part of what is about to
go down? M-3 has a direct but lagging impact on financial markets..

- POOR FUNDING OF RICH SEEN AS UNSUSTAINABLE, RISK
- DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) - January 28 2006 - By Stella
Dawson and Natsuko Waki - Massive flows of capital from the emerging
to the developed world are unsustainable and risk damaging both
poor and rich countries, some of the world's top finance officials
said on Saturday. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos,
European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet said that
the current global investment pattern was "profoundly abnormal"
and in no country's interest. "It is not sustainable in
the long run that the emerging world would finance the industrial
world. It doesn't correspond to the interest of the emerging
world, neither to the interest of the industrialised world,"
he said.
- In a similar vein, Indian Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram
said countries like his, one of the emerging stars on the global
economic scene, were under threat. "Global imbalances are
deepening and that has serious consequences for developing countries
like India," he said.
- The United States is currently seeing huge inflows of capital
from the developing world, notably China, that are financing
its current account deficit, bolstering the dollar and keeping
long-term interest rates low through U.S. bond purchases. The
U.S. absorbs roughly 70 percent of excess global savings. The
danger to the world economy is that when the inflows eventually
slow or dry up, there could be sharp economic and market dislocations
worldwide. "There are potential triggers that could create
serious consequences for the global economy. The first is a southward
movement of the dollar, the second is an unexpected increase
in U.S. interest rates ... Thirdly, (a spiral in) energy prices...
will lead to inflationary expectations," Chidambaram said.
Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers warned the problems
were worsening and time could be running out to fix them. But
if policymakers delayed further, he said, "the correction
must be that much larger."

said his country needed to play its part by relying less on foreign
capital. "The U.S. needs to increase savings, starting with

7, 2005 - A 68-year-old woman was hit with a Taser gun by police
in an Ohio city five times. The police officer in the case, a
lieutenant with the Franklin Police Department, claims he is
the victim in the case, NBC 4's Mike Bowersock reported. Beverly
Kidwell, 68, was in the waiting room of the police department
in suburban Dayton when the incident occurred.

According to police, she came into the station to be arrested
for hitting her granddaughter. Kidwell said she waited a long
time in the lobby and, when she got up to leave, the officer

I thought it was a gun. I'd never seen a Taser gun in my life
and I thought, 'Oh my God. He's going to shoot me. He's going
to kill me," Kidwell said.

reported. Kidwell said she was in a fetal position and unable
to move when the lieutenant ordered her to get up and continued
to shock her. The woman survived five jolts and had to be taken

- ANOTHER NASA PLUTONUM LAUNCH
- By KARL GROSSMAN - NASA is again threatening the lives of
people on Earth. On January 11, the window opens for a launch
from Cape Canaveral of a rocket lofting a space probe with 24
pounds of plutonium fuel on board. Plutonium is considered the
most deadly radioactive substance. Once it separates from the
rocket, the probe, on what NASA calls its New Horizons mission,
would move through space powered by conventional chemical fuel.
- The plutonium is in a Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator
(RTG) that is to provide on-board electricity for the probe's
instruments--a mere 180 watts when it gets to its destination
of Pluto.
- Until after the probe leaves the rocket and breaks from the
Earth's gravitational pull, the plutonium endangers life on Earth.
Because a fatal dose of plutonium is just a millionth of a gram,
anyone breathing just the tiniest particle of plutonium dispersed
in an accident could die... An "enormous disaster"
could result with the spread of the plutonium, says Dr. Ernest
Sternglass, professor emeritus of radiological physics at the
University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The issue is how
much plutonium is released in respirable particles, he explains.
"The problem is, it takes so little plutonium," says
Dr. Sternglass.

- HOLOCAUST IN THE CLASSROOM
Indiana high schools would have to teach about the Holocaust
under a bill proposed in the House of Representatives.
Rep. Clyde Kersey, D-Terre Haute, is backing the proposal for
the second straight year. The bill failed to receive a hearing
last session, but Kersey is hopeful the House Education Committee
will take it up in 2006.
Kersey said the bill was inspired by Eva Kor, a Holocaust survivor
who runs the CANDLES Holocaust Museum in Terre Haute. "Eva
Kor feels that as time goes on, we tend to forget about the Holocaust
and the horrible things that happened," Kersey said. "She's
hoping that if we can make it a requirement in the classroom,
students will know what Jewish people like Mrs. Kor went through."
If adopted into law, House Bill 1072 would require the Holocaust
to be taught to high school students for one semester.

outrage, a massive menorah was erected on the lawn of the White
House to celebrate Chanukah (various spellings), a Jewish "festival
of lights" that was only a minor holiday until fairly recent
Jewish campaigns to neutralize Christmas and other European-American
celebrations. According to reports, the religious candelabra
lighting was honored with a military color guard.
- The event was organized by Chabad, an extreme Jewish Hasidic
"outreach" program aiming to strengthen Jewish identity
and ward off Christian missionaries, who, many Jews are convinced,
are hell-bent on converting Jews. (Proseletization -- an article
of Christian faith and practice -- is illegal in Israel, a human
rights violation that goes unmentioned by the United States or
so-called "Christian Zionist" Last Days fanatics, who
have pledged not to witness to Jews.)

late leader, Mendel Schneerson, was revered as akin to a prophet.
Some Lubavitchers are convinced that he was in fact the Messiah.

include "a magical bird show, the building of a Lego menorah...and

UNIX ENGINEER TAKES RFID IMPLANT IN HAND

growing, group of hobbyists has voluntarily received RFID implants.
One explains why. Mikey Sklar opposed RFID. Then, he requested
that the technology be implanted in his hand. He's now among
a small, but apparently growing, group of hobbyists who have
voluntarily implanted themselves with RFID chips.
"I guess a lot of people like to go home and watch TV,"
he said during an interview Saturday. "I like to make stuff."
Sklar, who designs and makes electronic clothing and gadgets
for fun, will explain at a monthly dorkbot-nyc meeting this week
how and why he put a tiny chip between his thumb and forefinger.
The high performance computing and UNIX engineer underwent the
procedure in November. He planned to keep his presentation low-key,
but he is already drawing media attention from several Web postings.
A physician friend swabbed Sklar's hand with an iodine-based
antiseptic, applied a local anesthetic and sliced into his skin.
The doctor then placed an injector gun with a hollow metal tube
into the incision, pulled the trigger, removed the gun and stitched
and dressed the wound. The physician couldn't be reached in time
for this story.
Sklar said the procedure didn't hurt. The scar healed, but the
reinforced glass tube can be felt near the skin's surface.
Sklar said he chose a read-only device that serves as an identifier.
Using a microcontroller, open source tools and a circuit board,
he wrote a program to pull down Internet content email, RSS feeds,
favorite Web sites - and send them via Bluetooth to a small display
chandelier, which will light up in his apartment, like a miniature
version of Times Square's electronic tickers...

YEAR OF RFID LEGISLATION?
- January 05, 2006 - AIM Global by Bert Moore: For those familiar
with the general political sentiments of residents of New Hampshire
(which has the state motto "Live Free or Die"), it's
not surprising that privacy concerns prompted legislation restricting
RFID use. What is significant, however, is that the wording of
the original draft of the bill (HB 203) has been replaced by
amended text that is specific to tracking and takes a more measured
view of RFID in general. According to an article in the Manchester,
NH ”Union Leader," Curtis J. Barry, who lobbies for
the Retail Merchants Association of New Hampshire, said, “Many
of the proposals made in the (original) bill that were onerous
and burdensome on retailers were not included in the bill as
it now reads, but we still have some concerns about the wording
and continue to question the necessity” for the bill. With
all the prognostications about the coming year, perhaps what
will be the hallmark of 2006 will be a flurry of state legislation
pertaining to RFID. The original HB 203 wording seemed to be
based on some of the more fantastical assertions about the potential
for RFID to covertly identify and track people. In fact, one
of the primary issues seemed to have been a concern that RFID
chips might be surreptitiously implanted in people for tracking
purposes. This provision still exists in the current wording
and there are few, if any, who would argue in favor of individuals
being implanted with an RFID chip without prior consent.

Republic of Northern Cyprus, Canada, Virgin Islands, South Africa,
and Abramoff's hometown of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
- The pattern that is emerging is that Abramoff and his criminal
associates not only used various casinos around the world to
enrich themselves but also used them to launder money into right-wing/neo-con
political campaign coffers in the United States, Israel, and
other countries. Prominent recipients included Tom DeLay's Political
Action Committees and Netanyahu's allies in the settler's movement.
- Former Cheney security aide, Leandro Aragoncillo, an ex-Marine
who was arrested while working for the FBI in Fort Monmouth,
New Jersey, is tied to Michael Ray Aquino and former Philippine
President Joseph Estrada. Aquino and Estrada, who were working
with Aragoncillo in transmitting classified documents on Philippine
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo from Cheney's office to Estrada
in order to help in his bid to oust Macapagal-Arroyo from office,
are also linked to Abramoff. A return of Estrada to power in
Manila would have not only benefit Abramoff's casino deals in
the Philippines but would have returned to country to the pro-U.S.
camp in Iraq and other military initiatives.

with the assistance of Abramoff's confederates, Cheney's shadow
foreign policy is now directed at assuring a Netanyahu win in

- AMERICA'S SUPERPOWER DAYS ARE OVER

has become a nightmare for college graduates who cannot find
meaningful work. This fact is made abundantly clear from the
payroll jobs data over the past five years. December’s numbers,
released on January 6, show the same pattern that I have reported
each month for years. Under pressure from offshore outsourcing,
the US economy only creates low productivity jobs in low-pay
domestic services. Only a paltry number of private sector jobs
were created—94,000. Of these 94,000 jobs, 35,800 or 38%
are for waitresses and bartenders. Health care and social assistance
account for 28% of the new jobs and temporary workers account
for 10%. These three categories of low tech, nontradable
domestic services account for 76% of the new jobs. This is
the jobs pattern of a poor third world economy that consumes
more than it produces.
- America’s so-called first world superpower economy was
only able to create in December a measly 12,000 jobs in goods
producing industries, of which 77% are accounted for by wood
products and fabricated metal products—the furniture and
roofing metal of the housing boom that has now come to an end.
US employment declined in machinery, electronic instruments,
and motor vehicles and parts. 2,600 jobs were created in computer
systems design and related services, depressing news for the
several hundred thousand unemployed American computer and software

on CNNMoney.com that former Enron CEO Jeff Skilling tried to
sell 200,000 shares of Enron stock on Sept. 6, 2001. - Sept.
6 is but a few days prior to 9/11. More importantly, Sept. 6
is only 1 day prior to Friday, Sept. 7 (2001). Sept. 7 is very
important in context and substance, because on this day, the
October Fed Funds Futures (which is a hedge mechanism for interest
rates) as mentioned before, exploded upward, and made new seasonal/contract
highs.
- This portended that such would continue, and interest rates
would go sharply down (there is an inverse correlation; i.e.
if fed funds futures go up, interest rates go down and vice-versa).
This is exactly what happened, and is strongly indicative that
someone(s) in the Federal Reserve knew the attacks against America
were in the offing.
- Jeff Skilling was also on the Houston branch of the Dallas
Federal Reserve Board. All of this simply further substantiates
the fact that the "smoking cannon" of 9/11 is Enron.
As a corollary of this, the purported off sheet "debts"
of Enron, as also stated previously, were in fact income, generated
in large part through "Federal" Reserve bank trading
programs, which 9/11, I believe was orchestrated to try to cover-up
and keep Enron from imploding by evil doers. Please share with
them too, if you will, the other backdrop communiqués
to you to enlighten them about the cold reality of this, particularly
one Thomas E. (Enron) White. White, if you recall, came from
the top hierarchy of the Pentagon, went to work for many years
at Enron, in charge of their trading department where all the
financial games were largely played, in the first half of 2001
left Enron to become Army Secretary. (Isn't it most interesting
that he headed the most corrupt component of Enron but was not
charged with anything?)

about Anthrax. White then wore another hat as head of Homeland

- Next year, 2007, the Schengen Agreement will apply to Lithuania,
Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic
- all previously part of the Soviet Union, and all now with inadequate
frontier controls with other former Communist countries.
- So, next year, if a Russian or a Ukrainian or a Belarusian
gets across their border into any of those countries they gain
access to the rest of Western Europe. They will have little trouble
getting anywhere they choose.
- These former Soviet republics are not prison camps any more.
They issue passports valid for international travel. Internal
passports are a thing of the past. Indeed, the Russians have
just reached agreement with the west to ease visa regulations,
although they recently refused a visa for the Estonian foreign
minister, no less, to visit St Petersburg for a ministerial meeting.

- GROUP TRIES TO EVICT SUPREME COURT JUSTICE SOUTER FROM HIS
HOME

N.H. (Jan. 21) - Angered by a Supreme Court ruling that gave
local governments more power to seize people's homes for economic
development, a group of activists is trying to get one of the
court's justices evicted from his own home. Justice David Souter
supported property seizures for development. Logan Darrow Clements
of Los Angeles is an organizer of the efforts to seize Souter's
home. Opponents of the Supreme Court's ruling of eminent domain
collected signatures door to door in Souter's hometown. Organizers
of the seizure efforts prepare to canvass neighborhoods at townhall
at Weare N.H.. Winnie Ilsley, who watched Justice David Souter
grow up here, said it wouldn't bother her a bit if Souter's home
was taken. A modest 200-year-old farmhouse on eight acres, in
retaliation for his vote approving the seizure of homes in connection
with the case.
- Clements plans to create on Souter's land the "Lost
Liberty Hotel," a kind of museum commemorating the lost
right to private property in America. Because the Board of Selectmen
of Weare has rejected Clements' request to condemn the property,
Darrow hopes to use a ballot initiative to do the job. The decision,
handed down June 23, allows the New London, Conn., government
to seize the homes and businesses of residents to facilitate
the building of an office complex that would provide economic
benefits to the area and more tax revenue to the city. The activist
says he'll meet with residents Monday, hoping to begin the process
to place a measure on the ballot in March. He says only 25 signatures
are needed to put the initiative before the voters. The town's
website notes there are 5,552 registered voters in Weare, while
2,038 showed up to vote in the last election. "Whoever said
this project 'will never happen' might find themselves sitting
in the Just Desserts Café eating crow pie next to David
Souter," Clements said in a statement. The Just Desserts
Café is a restaurant planned to be part of the Lost Liberty

would allow experimental weather modification by artificial methods
and implement a national weather modification policy, does not
include agriculture or public oversight, is on the “fast
track” to be passed early in 2006.
- This bill is designed to implement experimental weather modification.
The appointed Board of Directors established by this bill does
not include any agricultural, water, EPA, or public representatives,
and has no provisions for Congressional, State, County, or public
oversight of their actions or expenditures.
- Weather Modification may adversely impact agricultural crops
and water supplies. If the weather is changed in one state, region
or county it may have severe consequences in another region,
state or county. And who is going to decide the type of weather
modification experimentation and who it will benefit or adversely
impact?
- This experimental weather modification bill will impact residents
across the United States, not just in California. Many current
and ongoing weather modification programs (47 listed by NOAA
in 2005), including the one in Wyoming that is designed to increase
the snowpack, may be diverting rainwater away from Oklahoma and
Texas, two states that are currently fighting fires caused by
a lack of rainfall. We have no idea what the unintended consequences
of the Wyoming action or other experimental weather modification
programs might be now or in the future.

HOME Secretary John Reid has been told he has to make concrete
moves to build more jails BEFORE he is given any extra cash.
Chancellor Gordon Brown made the order, angry at claims HE is
blocking plans to provide 8,000 extra prison places. A minister
close to the Treasury said funds were handed to Mr Reid’s
predecessor Charles Clarke but they were diverted to other projects.
He added: “There has been a history of the Home Office getting
money to build prisons but the cash going on other things. “When
the Treasury comes to check what happened, they find nothing
was done and the money was spent elsewhere. Gordon wants to make
sure the prisons this country needs are being built. So he wants
to see evidence.” ... Ministers must act fast after an explosive
report warned of a staggering 20,000 rise in the prison population
over the next ten years — during which Mr Brown hopes to
be Prime Minister. The confidential dossier drawn up for Tony
Blair suggests a series of radical measures. They include chemical
castration for rapists and the most serious child sex attackers,
booze rationing to keep a lid on drunken anti-social behaviour

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told The Associated Press
on Thursday that Iraq is "worth the investment" in
American lives and dollars and said the U.S. can still win a
conflict that has been more difficult than she expected.
In an interview at the State Department, the nation's highest-ranking
black government official also said the United States is ready
to elect a black president.
Rice was asked whether an additional $100 billion the Pentagon
wants for the Iraq and Afghan wars might amount to throwing good
money after bad in Iraq. President Bush and Congress have already
provided more than $500 billion for the two conflicts and worldwide
efforts against terrorism, including more than $350 billion for
Iraq. "I don't think it's a matter of money," Rice
said. "Along the way there have been plenty of markers that
show that this is a country that is worth the investment, because
once it emerges as a country that is a stabilizing factor you
will have a very different kind of Middle East."
The top U.S. diplomat made the remarks as Bush faces mounting
pressure from the public and members of Congress to find a fresh
course in the long-running war. More than three-and-half years
after the U.S. invasion that deposed Saddam Hussein, the conflict
shows no signs of nearing an end and has cost the lives of more
than 2,950 American troops... Rice has repeatedly said she will
not run for president, despite high popularity ratings and measurable
support in opinion polls. Rice declined to say whether she would
like to see her predecessor, Colin Powell, become a candidate.
Powell is a fellow black Republican. Democratic Sen. Barack Obama,
D-Ill., is the most prominent black politician to emerge as a
potential candidate for the 2008 presidential race. Rice was
asked whether, watching Obama's rise, she thinks Americans are
