The new year is coming, and many use this as a time to reflect on the recent past, and the near future. This can be a good thing IF the Kingdom of God is where our thoughts are focused. Please allow me to bring a word of exhortation in respect to the Kingdom of God. That word of exhortation is this: "Come Out From Among Them and Be Separate!" These are not my words, but the Words of the Lord in the New Testament. I have just finished what might be the most important article on our web site, and its title is, "Come Out From Among Them and Be Separate!" The article's title is a quote from the Word - 2 Cor. 6:17. This verse, and the surrounding verses, contain such incredibly important commands for us to obey. These verses are widely disobeyed by the counterfeit, apostate and apostasying church, and as such, we need to understand what they say so that we will not also be deceived as so many others have been and are being.

If we don't obey the 2 Cor. 6:11-7:1 passage, then we are making the same fatal error that has plunged every other true move of God's spirit into destruction. The Old Testament describes Israel's disobedience to this basic command, and the end thereof was the destruction of the nation. In like manner, the church has always struggled with these commands, and only a small remnant has always survived, and this primarily by obeying this portion of Scripture. The time has come to act, dear brethren. We can play church no longer. We can equivocate no longer.

We can procrastinate no longer. We must be willing to step out in faith, and by His grace, beautify His bride before the bridegroom comes. We must see the error, turn away, and follow Jesus... and this means we must lose our lives, that we may find them. We know the times and the seasons, so let us act to build His family where we are. Let us DO the two basic things He commands us to DO as His people - preach the true gospel which offends, and build His church/ family/ community where others can be discipled. If we are not experiencing the persecution of the world, and if we are not truly viewed as aliens, strangers and pilgrims, then we must examine ourselves to see whether we are in the faith. May we seek the Lord with all our hearts, and long to obey His every command in the New Testament, out of our deep love for Him.

THE SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR A PRE-TRIBULATIONAL RAPTURE

The Pre-Tribulation Rapture has engendered more attacks on this ministry than any other exhortations or articles we have published. Incorrect interpretations are rampant. All the movies and videos we have seen are incorrect portrayals. TBN featured Dr. Thomas, Ice January 10, 2002 (or around that date). He was discussing his new book which was written with Tim LaHay.

 

LaHay has gained a lot of attention in Christian circles with a series of fictional books and audios, etc..about the Tribulation and the Rapture. Dr. Thomas Ice apparently agrees with Tim LaHay that Gentiles can be saved during the Tribulation. We missed that when we read most of Dr. Ice's works before he joined the rich and famous. The Scripture study by David Bay of the Cutting Edge website is the best we have seen. We highly recommend that you take a look at it to clarify your concept of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. There is just one point that we don't agree with. David applies the "Day of the Lord" to the seven year tribulation. We interpret that the "Day of the Lord" is "a day for a thousand years", which includes the Millennium. It does not change the Pre-Tribulation Rapture nor the Tribulation in any way.

continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-
ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." The heavens don't pass away nor does the earth melt with fervent heat until the end of the Millennium. That means that the "Day of the Lord" includes the Millennium.

The Southern Baptist Convention has said it will terminate its 124-year relationship with the D.C. Positive Confession is the belief that if a believer speaks "spiritual" or "faith-filled" words then he can have what he says. Unfortunately, this influence has invaded the church and continues to cause much turmoil and confusion. Many of the teachers of the word-faith movement believe that words are so powerful that they can influence the physical and spiritual worlds. For example: In The Tongue, a Creative Force (1976), positive confessionist Charles Capps, teaches that there are powerful "spiritual" words. Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders are meeting in Brussels for the first major attempt since September 11 to try to curb conflicts fought in the name of religion. IS ALLAH THE SAME GOD AS THE CHRISTIAN GOD?

When Muslims are asked whether Allah is the same God as the Christian God, many Muslims will reply, "yes." Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet of the one true God, but that Muhammad was the last true prophet. But Muslims (1) do not believe Jesus was crucified on a cross, (2) do not believe Jesus died on that cross, and (3) do not believe Jesus was resurrected after 3 days by God. Muslims also do not believe
(4) that Jesus is the only way to God, or (5) that God is Jesus' heavenly Father, or (6) that Jesus is coequal with God - all of which Jesus claimed as being true. So I ask again, how can Allah be the same God as the Christian God?

WCC DEFENDS ISLAM

World Council of Churches head Dr. Konrad Raiser sent a letter in Nov. greeting the world-wide Muslim community at the beginning of Ramadan. He evoked the spiritual bonds uniting Christians and Muslims that "need to be rediscovered in the aftermath of the 11 September tragedies."

 

He said: "As Christians, we reject the tendency, not uncommon in many Western countries, to perceive Muslims as a threat and to portray Islam in negative terms while projecting a positive self-image." He called for "intensification of dialogue between religions and cultures." A copy of the letter to Muslim leaders was also sent to WCC member churches and to other ecumenical bodies. In an enclosed note, Raiser asked them to "seek the most appropriate ways" to engage with Muslim partners in acts of spiritual fellowship and prayer for peace and justice. He expressed solidarity with the Muslim community, and of "our commitment to the spirit of dialogue and mutual trust." He wrote: "All acts which destroy life, whether through terrorism or in war, are contrary to the will of God. The recent tragic events [reveal] the vulnerability of all nations and the fragility of the international order.

 

A world in which more and more people and nations are consigned to extreme poverty while others accumulate great wealth is inherently unstable. The tendency to impose one's will, even by force - which is [seen] in the policies of powerful nations provokes resentment among the weaker ones. Here the dialogue between Muslims and Christians, to which the World Council of Churches remains strongly committed, finds its authentic meaning." (11/16 WCC E-mail). PERSECUTION WATCH: PAKISTAN

More than 350 Christian women have been kidnapped and forcibly married, according to Bishop Ashaar Kamran. Speaking at a protest rally on Monday, the leader of the Methodist Church in Multan City said that most of the women involved with divorced shortly after their marriage, reported the "Dawn" newspaper. One recent incident had involved a mother of five who had been kidnapped, he said. Although the case had been reported to the police, no action had been taken. He called on the district government to take steps to
prevent further, similar cases, said "Dawn." Other church leaders and local politicians also

JUDGE RULES AGENCY 'INDOCTRINATES' CLIENTS

A federal judge ruled yesterday that the constitutional requirement of church-state separation was violated by Wisconsin state grants to a Milwaukee faith-based agency that helps fathers recover from addictions and get jobs.
Barbara Crabb ordered the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development to stop funding Faith Works, which has received more than $600,000 for a residential treatment program, "The Milwaukee Sentinel" reported. Ironically, then-presidential candidate George Bush spent two hours at Faith Works on July 18, 2000, praising it as a glowing example of the kind of program he'd like to promote. "The intent is to help people and to recognize that a faith-based program will help people [and not to fund religion]," he said then. "I am confident that we can maintain separation of church and state." But Crabb sided with the Freedom From Religion Foundation, which challenged the state's funding of the agency in court more than a year ago.
"I conclude that the Faith Works program indoctrinates its participants in religion, primarily through its counselors," Crabb wrote. State officials said it was too soon to determine whether funding for Faith Works would have to be immediately cut off if the decision is appealed, the "Sentinel" reported. (1.9.2002)

Carey spoke commendably of the writings of modernist John Hick and did not condemn Hick's claims that Christians should stop claiming that Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Savior and that there is only one God and one faith. Carey belittled and condemned fundamentalists or "dogmatists," as he called them, who carry "banners pronouncing that 'Jesus is the answer'" and who refuse to dialogue with other religions. He said Christians, Jews, and Muslims worship the same God and that Muslims and Christians are brothers. The title of Carey's message was "How Far Can We Travel Together? " The Bible answered that almost 2,000 years ago. It's not an official merger nor the creation of a new national structure, but a covenantal relationship by which they pledge to "live out their unity" more fully in local communities and to jointly combat racism. Ralph stated that the Federal Reserve has become part of the political process. Greenspan went to some 60 meetings at the White House during one year. The trade deficit is at $400 billion during that year. He stated that the Federal Reserve has power to make decisions without the President's consent. The Reserve is supposed to own 53 airplanes which did not exist and their books are closed to inspection. Ralph tried to get a hearing about millions of mistakes when Greenspan said it was no big deal.

Ralph said that the Federal Reserve is breaking the Public Trust. From the Federal Reserve website Ralph got most of his information. They began in 1913 and were reorganized in 1935. 12 people determine the monetary policy. In 1962 the Federal Reserve gave itself power to loan money to foreign countries from
their unlimited income of $21 billion.

The Federal Reserve bypassed Congress and made loans. Pressure to make their records public were not pursued. Transcripts of minutes stopped in 1976 and the meetings became secret. When asked why no minutes? It would ruin deliberations was the answer. They can't find records and Greenspan is in the middle. Later they found records on tapes. Everything had been recorded and in 1995 the plug was pulled. Paper copies of all records were shredded. In 1994 Greenspan doubled interest rate and pricked the bubble in the Stock Market. Intended to foil counterfeiters, the project is developing as Europe prepares for a massive changeover to the Euro, and would create an instant mass market for RFID chips, which
have long sought profitable application. The banking community and chip suppliers say the integration of an RFID antenna and chip on a bank note is technically possible, but no bank notes in the world today employ such a technology. The arrival of the Euro looks likely to cause havoc in Russia because of the failure by the country’s Central Bank to lift a ban on importing the currency, leaving millions of coins and notes stockpiling on the border. Only now is Russia waking up to the prospect that from January 1 the German mark, a favourite currency of Russian business and tourism along with the US dollar, will cease to be legal tender. The mark is the only currency that will cease to be legal tender on the stroke of midnight on December 31. U.N. HEARS PROPOSAL TO REGISTER EVERY HUMAN

Every person in the world would be fingerprinted and registered under a universal identification scheme to fight illegal immigration and people smuggling outlined at a United Nations meeting today. The plan was put forward by Pascal Smet, the head of Belgium's independent asylum review board, at a roundtable meeting with ministers including Australian Immigration Minister Philip Ruddock this afternoon. Mr Smet said the European Union was already considering a Europe-wide system, using either fingerprints or eye scanning technology, to identify citizens. ISRAEL ANTI MISSIONARY LEGISLATION

November 22, 1999 Preaching the Gospel in Israel would be a crime under a proposed law. The Knesset Internal Affairs Committee held a hearing Nov.10 on a bill that would impose prison sentences for any kind of direct or indirect evangelistic activity. It was proposed by Rabbi Porush of the National Religious Party, Newsroom said. The bill calls for a five-year sentence for those convicted of trying to persuade an Israeli
citizen to change faiths, 10 years for tying to convert a minor or "needy" person, 3 years for using advertising to encourage people to change faiths, and 1 year for bringing a minor or "needy" person to an event sponsored by a religious group other than their own. It also calls for a 10-year sentence for someone convicted of persuading someone to change faiths, even if the conversion occurs outside of Israel. Porush said he believes the bill will pass the first of four votes in the legislature. Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet approved a similar measure that was ultimately withdrawn in 1998 (see link #1 below in the article). The Israeli government has received a flood of mail and faxes opposing anti-missionary legislation, Newsroom said.

E.U.'S SECURITY CHIEF ARRIVES WITH DEMANDS FOR ARAFAT

The European Union's foreign and security policy chief, Javier Solana, arrived here yesterday with an unusual document in his briefcase - a detailed decision the EU's foreign ministers drafted on Monday and listing a series of demands of Yasser Arafat. 57,000 MOVE TO ISRAEL SINCE OUTBREAK OF VIOLENCE

Fifty-seven thousand people have moved to Israel since the outbreak of violence in late September 2000. Most of the new immigrants are from the former Soviet republics. ZINNI CALLS FOR TWO DAYS OF QUIET US

special envoy Anthony Zinni, at a trilateral security meeting last night, called on Israel and the Palestinian Authority to commit themselves to two days of quiet, during which the government would halt targeted killings, and the PA would arrest terrorists. CRACKS APPEAR IN AL AQSA MOSQUE

A small protrusion forming ominously in the 2000-year-old Southern Wall of the Temple Mount and spreading cracks in the fabric of the Al Aqsa Mosque are the result of an extensive Islamic construction project opposed but not stopped by the Israeli government. RENEWED CHARGES OF PLUNDERING THE TEMPLE MOUNT

Extensive damage to, and plundering of, antiquities at the Temple Mount are continuing and the police are turning a blind eye to this, 23 public figures charge in a sharply-worded letter to the prime minister. They say that the police permit the entry of tractors and building materials to the site, as well as underground construction and the plundering of treasures by the Waqf Muslim religious trust, without supervision and without inspection. The signatories, who are members of a committee to prevent damage to the Temple Mount antiquities, say that the police are using the excuse of security considerations to hide the truth.(12.19.01)

ARAFAT CALLS FOR MORE 'MARTYRS' I

n a fiery speech in Ramallah today, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat called for more martyrdom, reportedly saying: "I am willing to sacrifice 70 to die to kill one Israeli." Israel Radio West Bank correspondent Avi Yissakharov reported Arafat declared "all Palestinians are Muhammad al-Dura," that all Palestinians are martyrs. Al-Dura was a 12-year-old boy killed in the Gaza Strip last year while his father tried to protect him from crossfire between Palestinian snipers and Israeli Defense Forces. To try to pressure Israel and the Palestinian Authority into dialogue, US officials are considering telling the sides that special envoy Anthony Zinni will return only if they first make some progress toward a cease-
fire, diplomatic sources here say. The administration, the sources say, is tired of sending envoys and not achieving results. Since President George W. Bush took office last January, the administration has sent numerous envoys - including two trips by Secretary of State Colin Powell - in an effort to calm the situation. VATICAN SAYS NO PEACE UNTIL ISRAEL QUITS TERRITORIES

POPULATION INCREASES IN ISRAEL:

The Central Bureau of Statistics published new population figures Sunday showing that Israel's population at the dawn of 2002 stands at 6.5 million, an increase of 2.1 percent from last year, THE JERUSALEM POST reported. The Jewish population comprises 81.1 percent of the entire population. Numbers released by the CBS also showed that the number of Christians from 1995 until the present has grown from 120,000 to 137,000. Of the total, 115, 000 are Christian Arabs, and the remainder are immigrants from Poland, Romania and the former Soviet Union. During 2001, Israel's population grew by approximately 142,000.

Preliminary figures indicate that 44,413 new immigrants came to Israel in 2001: 33,763 from the countries of the former Soviet union, 3,294 from Ethiopia, 1,400 from Argentina, and 5,956 from other countries. In the midst of 2001's steep decline in tourism, Tourism Minister Benny Elon found one statistic that gave him a bit of pleasure: The number of Jews visiting the country rose by 3 percent in comparison to 2000. "It is a myth that Jews are not coming," said Elon, who took over the post in November, succeeding the assassinated Rehavam Ze'evi. It is true, Elon said, that the type of visitor has changed. Instead of individuals or families coming by themselves or with tour groups, there were more missions by Jewish organizations and people coming in groups organized by their congregations. According to ministry estimates, about 1.2 million

TEMPLE MOUNT WALL JEOPARDIZED:

Six months after engineering tests conducted by the Antiquities Authority on the southern wall of the Temple Mount showed that sections of the wall are in the intermediate stages of collapse, work has not yet begun to correct the situation, the engineer who conducted the tests said Tuesday. "If not treated, the problem is a source of danger in the medium-term (in a range of a number of years), and its collapse may cause irreversible damage to the structure," the Antiquities Authority's July survey states. The Antiquities
Authority has maintained a low profile on the issue. Work turning Solomon's Stables into a mosque was most intense in 1996, when the government of then-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu turned a blind eye to the building activity. Asked for comment, a spokesman for Internal Security Minister Uzi Landau said that the issue of the bulge at the southern wall will be part of an imminent cabinet discussion that Landau has asked for on the issue of the Temple Mount. Already, archaeologists and engineers caution that a heavy snow or rain could bring about the collapse of part of the wall, which could cave in on Muslim worshipers at the mosque now at Solomon's Stables.
