MARINES FORCED INTO NEW AGE MOVEMENT? An effort is under way to drag the
Marine Corps into the New Age movement, complete with Eastern mysticism,
Zen meditation, pop psychology, etc. The Corps is developing a new Marine
Martial Art (10/9 Wall St. J. via 11/4 World). A pilot program has
been expanded and 15,000 Marines are now learning how to be ninjas. Plans
are to make it mandatory for all Marines. But forcing Christians (also
Jews and Muslims) to participate in pagan religious practices goes too
far. All Marines are not forced to attend Christian church services
and should not be forced to practice Eastern mysticism.

FONDA FUNDS ABORTIONS-Tax-exempt groups raised $97.3 million and spent
$132.6 million since July 1, to influence the fall elections. Actress
Jane Fonda, the largest single contributor on the list we saw, personally
bankrolled an $11.7 million campaign to inject the abortion issue in
battleground states (11/4 H.Times). She shelled out the $11.7 million of
her own money in two checks Sept. 15 & 26. Pro Choice Vote used
her money to make large donations to abortion choice groups. Her
impending divorce and "conversion" as a born-again Christian
were widely reported last Jan. Something seems wrong, here!- _________________________

MOON MOVING TO BRAZIL-Billionaire cult leader Sun Myung Moon, the
self-proclaimed second coming of Christ, has become disappointed at the
American public's refusal to worship him and is moving to Northern
Brazil. His Family Federation for World Peace recently joined with Louis
Farrakhan's Nation of Islam to sponsor A Million Families March on
Washington, D.C.

CATHOLIC SHROUD A FRAUD Catholics, Mormons, and charismatics put great
emphasis on signs and visions (see Matt. 12:39). The Catholic Shroud of
Turin has been debated since it first surfaced in 1357 AD. Scientific
evidence continues to mount that it is one of the greatest art frauds in
history. Scientists from Oxford and Cambridge universities have called it
a fake and dated it around 1350 AD (see 10/15/88 CC). Bandaging was the
custom for burial in Jesus' day. John 19:40 says Jesus' body was
"wound" in linen clothes (plural), and 20:7 states that His
head was covered with a napkin, not a shroud. The local bishop when it
was first exhibited in 1357 called the Shroud a fraud, based on the
testimony of the artist who made it. We believe the Shroud is as phony as
the twentieth-century Catholic visions of Mary.

WORLD FAITHS IN KATHMANDU UNVEIL 'SACRED'- GIFTS' TO PROTECT ENVIRONMENT
Geneva (ENI) 11/17/00. Representatives of 11 major faiths have been
gathering in Kathmandu, Nepal, with the aim of mobilising
billions of believers to conserve the world's natural resources.
On 15 November representatives of the Baha'i, Buddhist,
Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Shinto, Taoist and
Zoroastrian faiths met in Kathmandu, Nepal, to address a broad
range of international environmental challenges and to unveil
their "Sacred Gifts for a Living Planet" - initiatives to promote
environmental responsibility and sustainability. Among the 26
initiatives, the China Taoist Association, the umbrella
organisation for 40 million Taoists in China, is calling on its
members not to use endangered animals - such as tigers, rhinos,
brown bears and musk deer - in the preparation of traditional
medicine products; the (Orthodox) Ecumenical Patriarchate of
Constantinople has launched a "river of life" network along the
River Danube to tackle pollution and conservation; Japan's
Shintos will buy only sustainably-produced wood for more than 80
000 Shinto shrines; and Mongolian Buddhist leaders have
reinstated a ban on hunting endangered species, such as the snow
leopard, of which only 700 remain in Mongolia.

The Israeli public has taken a keen interest in the case of the three Cohen
children who were wounded in yesterday morning's terrorist bombing in Kfar
Darom. Orit, 12, and her brother Yisrael, 7, each lost part of their right leg:
Orit's foot was amputated above her ankle, while Yisrael lost his leg below
the knee. Doctors operated on their sister Tehilla, 8, for 18 hours last night,
and again today, in an effort to save her legs; two fingers on one hand have
been amputated. A dazed Corp. Yaniv, the medic who first reached the
children yesterday, said, "A fighter learns how to give first aid to other
soldiers, not little children whose limbs have been blown off."Eliezer Amitai, whose wife Mira was killed in yesterday's bombing, spoke at her
funeral - attended by thousands - in Ofrah yesterday: "Kfar Darom is just like
Hanita [in the north] and just like Gilo. Kfar Darom, it happens to be, was purchased
by Jews even before the establishment of the State of Israel... we don't need a
consensus, and we don't need approval from anyone or from the world - we will do
what we have to do, and we will continue to raise our children where we have to.
Our spirit is strong... And this is not politics; this is life! ... The pain is not of
our families alone, but of all Israel - and whoever does not feel it, should ask himself why..."Residents of Kfar Darom, aided by dozens of volunteers from around the

attacks on Israelis.KNESSET COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS BOOK BAN
The Knesset Education Committee recommended yesterday that a 9th-grade
history textbook, entitled "World of Changes," be disqualified from use. Committee
Chairman Zevulun Orlev (NRP) told Arutz-7 that the unanimous decision was
precedent-setting, in that it was the first time the Committee had taken such action
on its own: "We felt that the book simply did not attain the goal of fulfilling the country's
educational and values goals. It is missing entire sections on Zionism, Diaspora Jewry,
the entire story of Soviet Jewry, no mention of Ethiopian Jewry's aliyah [immigration],
the struggle with the British before the War of Independence, the background to the
Six-Day War - even the Holocaust was presented in a distorted way." The book has
no picture of David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first Prime Minister, nor any mention of other
Zionist leaders, the Warsaw Ghetto, or the many terrorist attacks that Israel suffered
over the years.The Committee's recommendation is not binding, as no legislation was passed on the
matter, but, Orlev said, "It has moral authority, and I can't imagine the Education
Ministry ignoring it. Already last night I heard that the Ministry had established a
committee to review the book..." When asked how the book had been approved
in the first place, given the fact that Orlev himself was Director-General of the
Education Ministry at the time, he responded, "Yes, this is a good question.
It turns out that books that are written by outside authors are reviewed very carefully,
but this particular book was originally commissioned by the Ministry and was written
on its behalf, and as such did not undergo the required checks. It was this book that

The government appears to be changing its mind about the stationing of
international observers in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza. Transportation and
Tourism Minister Amnon Lipkin-Shachak, a former IDF Chief of Staff, said
today, "What's wrong with a few UN observers in Gaza?" Ma'ariv reported
today that diplomatic sources hinted that Israel might agree to such a
force, in exchange for Arafat's return to the negotiating table. Government
sources denied this, however, saying that peacekeeping forces would be
invited only in the framework of a final-status agreement.Former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said today, "Arafat wants peace -
but without Israel." He said that what Arafat tells the world is totally
different than what he and other PA figures tell their own people, "and we
must uncover this deception... They want Acre, Jaffa, Ramle, and
Haifa." Netanyahu further said that Israeli must use the necessary force
to stop the Palestinian violence, "and only after an extended period of
quiet can the diplomatic process be considered, and even then - only if it
is based on reciprocity."MASS YESHA RALLY: "LET THE IDF WIN!"
The Yesha Council has called a major rally in Zion Square, Jerusalem, for
this Wednesday night. The rally will continue the same theme that the
Council has been championing of late, namely, "Let the IDF Win!" It will
be co-sponsored by the right-wing opposition parties and other grass-roots
organizations. The demonstrators will call upon Prime Minister Barak to
allow the IDF to fight the enemy and to capture locations from where the
enemy shoots upon Israeli soldiers and civilians. They will also demand
that the order be given to silence every source of fire "with whatever
means." Buses have been chartered to bring participants from cities all
over Israel.

C-SPAN - 11.28.2000 Press Conference NAACP Kweisi Mfume (President)
Baltimore MD. spoke and introduced some of their lawyers. They have a number
of them and have 1700 branch offices in the U.S. The NAACP received so many
calls during election day about voters having their voting rights denied, black and
white votes, being intimidated and voters filing law suits, that they had no choice
but to support voters and enable them. [ 2 million votes were thrown out across
the country ] The NAACP has 100s of 1000s of members. Mfume called for
massive peaceful demonstrations in the streets nationally.

ED. NOTE: We are in Florida [Tampa} area and watched the preliminary court
hearings and people told their stories one by one and many. The people invited
to the court were of all walks. Several white School teachers were wondering what
they were supposed to teach their school kids about voting if the votes didn't count.They are ready to fight for their voting rights. They believe voting gives them their
Constitutional rights. We don't know if our votes were counted because we didn't
know that there had to be a round hole to get it counted. We did not get butterfly
voting guides.Jeb Bush did a dry run before the election to check blacks by taking special
rights away and I was surprised that there was little resistance. They behaved
very well during that procedure. What is happening now was their reward for behaving.
In one black town their voting was done in a school and when they went to vote the
school had disappeared. They demolished it and did not inform people where to vote.
There were many stories parallel to that.I watched the Republican Party in and out of Congress for eight years. My personal
opinion is that what we experienced publicly was extremely demoralizing to me personally
and was not about moral issues but was politically motivated to achieve the votes for the
Republicans.Governor Busch stated that Africa is not important to him and not relevant to the United
States. Many blacks are involved in helping their ancestors.Between the fruitless lawsuits against our President and 90 million voter guides that
went to the churches by the Christian Coalition to insure a Republican vote, I was very
surprised that the Democratic nominee got the majority vote nationally. The Christian
Coalition went so far as to attend the Nation of Islam Million Family March, funded by
Rev. Moon [the Korean Unification Church]

instantly was forced to compromise publicly due to his interview on Larry King's
demoralizing interview.The traditional church is breaking up due to this demonic undercurrent for votes.
Billy Graham, Promise Keepers, Focus in the Family and thousands of movements

I have been absolutely amazed at how the so-called christian groups in
America have no idea what they are doing or how they are voting.
Grandfather, father and son, secret societies, the grapes fall close to the
vine. Al Gore may be liberal, but he in no way has the pedigree of Bush.

my experience lately.This latest election voting fiasco has brought out the feelings of many
believing friends in my church family and beyond. Many are looking to
politics as their hope “to bring back traditional values” Quotes such as this
abound: “a leader in the White House who will bring back morality after
years of immorality”A woman in our area writes in the Grand Rapids Press:
“I am praying that good will prevail over evil and GW Bush will finally be our
next president” She continues, “ As for Al Gore and all the liberals who
voted for him ___ God help them!”------A real Crusader spirit. GOP spelled backward POG (Party of “god”)
is their deception. ( It’s so funny because GW is not too committed to
“moral” values in government..abortion was never brought up in the campaign.)
They are looking to establish civil religion instead of Kingdom religion. (James 1:27)
My brother in law who is dear to me and has labored for the gospel of Jesus Christ,
has been so blinded by the religious-Right media to tell me this, “ How could I face
God someday and admit that I voted Democratic,.. a party of immoral, homosexuals,
witches, etc. so I voted for a party (Republican) that will appoint the judges that will
stand for “morality”. This man whose whole trust should be in the Lord, has been
seduced to trust in “princes” (Psalms 118:9, 146:3).Also around here if you don’t accept the whole right-wing GOP party line, in many
“Christian” circles you can be branded immoral, ungodly maybe even unsaved.
(By the way I vote independently, as a citizen, for Republicans, Democrats and others.
I want to use my head and vote for qualified people from any party that I feel can do a
good job. In this, I don’t follow orders except from my King) Many in the professing
church, I believe are now being manipulated by political operatives who play upon
believers opposition to abortion, pornography and other sins. They deceive them into a
mindset that if they vote for the Party, they will work to outlaw it.The church is being “taken for a ride” by those that would use and abuse it to attain
power. In the mean time, these operatives have made rebels out of some Christians
who are now full of self-righteousness and may turn out enemies of the cross, as love
is replaced by hate. This zeal on the religious right is un-Christ-like and is very
similar to Communist activism of old and at worst fascism in disquise.With all the above said, I need to look to the Lord a lot more and be in His Word
big-time! I feel very discouraged in what the devil is doing both thru right and left,
in and out of the church. Sometimes I feel very alone when I repeat our Lord’s
words to Pilate, “ My kingdom is not of this world”. When I go to my Sunday
School or Bible study, I go with expectations of battle and absence of unity
among us. We are being divided by satan’s workers.
“Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers
of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2Cor. 11:15
Brothers, I have only been saved 12 years and I have fought against Satan,
the world and my own sinful flesh.But this latest battle is threatening to do me in. Before I was a Christian, I was
involved in left-wing politics whose sole aim was to crush the Right, capitalism
and fascism and bring forth social justice to this world. But Christ has shown
me a much better way by the cross. When I heard about His coming Kingdom
that will establish justice, peace and righteousness I was compelled to consider
my beliefs.Many times my flesh bears down hard on me to go back to the old futile activism.
I came to the church for relief from my failed worldly dreams and the Lord became
my refuge, as I was taught of His future glorious kingdom and hopeless dreams of
all politics of mortal men. My first preacher, by whom I came to know Jesus, was
an ex-anti-semite and the elder was a former right-wing survivalist. Both were changed
by the gospel of Christ. Here we were, all old enemies now brothers in Christ!One of them, brother Bob, told me, “Milt, you can go right ahead and vote but the
Lord has already decided..” I took his biblical council with me from Texas to Michigan.
But up here, the deceived brethren, establishment religious media is trying to subvert
my faith because I am not excited as they are to join their “moral” bandwagon.
Satan uses their words to condemn me as a lover of the ungodly because I don’t fight
for their causes.Even on my beloved Moody Radio I hear overtones such as “Christians who don’t
vote GOP sin” Most of our black brothers in Christ voted Democratic because
they fear that they will loose their civil rights otherwise, as extremists are voted into
office. And I believe that their faith is being questioned also.
Please pray for me that the Lord will guard my mind and heart and that I will hide in
Him until all these things pass away. You have been a great encouragement to me.
