Today May 4,2000  Dear Rita , ...............You mentioned that the Witnesses don't believe in the holy spirit or perhaps you should say that their understanding of what the holy spirit is different from yours .The holy spirit is an active force emanating from God . Mostly it is invisible but at times it has taken on forms such as a dove and tongues of flame Luke 3:22, Acts 2:3-4 .Its something that can be poured out on a persons to empower them to perform miraculous acts . We of course have fleshly bodies so when I want to say pick up something I use my fingers .The creator on the other hand does not have a literal flesh and blood body as we know it so he uses his holy spirit to get things done . On the business of not knowing Jesus ,well I know I know Jesus and I know he is very hurt by this whole idear of a triune God, its not just because its an age old pagan concept this linking three gods together to worship as one God and arranged into its current form using Christian terminology by the Catholic Church hundreds of years after the death of Christ But just think about what your doing .Jesus sole purpose in life as a human here on earth was to promote the worship of his father so don't you think Jesus would be, not just disappointed but very hurt to see people worshiping him instead of his father . Infact it suits Satan's purpose more then anything else because in one move he is able to divert worship away from the God of Jesus see John 20:17 and get back at Jesus by impeding the good work done by him on earth . Just who was Jesus .What did his disciples believe see Math 16,16 What did the father God himself say of Jesus Math 17:5 What did Jesus himself say of his own identity John 10:2 So if all these witnesses testify to Jesus being the one and only special Son of God why cant you simply stick to plain simple bible truths with out bringing in mystical concepts from outside like the trinity .
