REPORT: ISRAEL, HAMAS REACH DEAL ON GILAD SHALIT
- Tuesday, October 11, 2011 - Ryan Jones - Israeli officials
on Tuesday announced that they had come to an agreement with
the Hamas terrorist organization for the release of abducted
Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit returned to his family within days.
Details regarding the deal were thin at press time, but Hamas
officials in Gaza suggested that the agreed upon terms were somewhat
different than previous proposals, and that the deal may include
the release of jailed Israeli Arab terrorists. Many Israeli government
ministers have been opposed to a deal for Shalit's release that
includes setting free convicted terrorist killers. The Palestinian
beneficiaries of past prisoner exchanges have gone on to kill
hundreds more Israelis. Netanyahu was reportedly meeting with
members of his cabinet on Tuesday evening to make sure a majority
of them vote in favor of the Shalit deal. If it passes the Israeli
cabinet, and if Hamas holds up its end of the bargain (the group
is notorious for increasing demands at the last minute), Shalit
could be home with his family by the weekend. Continued: http://www.israeltoday.co.il/News/tabid/178/nid/22977/language/en-US/Default.aspx

- SAUDI PAPER SAYS SWITZERLAND IS A JEWISH PLOT
- Monday, October 10, 2011- Ryan Jones - A columnist for the
Saudi Arabian daily newspaper Al-Riyadh has finally uncovered
the cornerstone of the Jewish plot for world domination. It is
Switzerland. Yes, the entire nation of Switzerland is apparently
a Jewish plot.
- Writing on September 4, Fahd 'Amr Al-Ahmadi pointed out that
over the past four centuries, Europe has experienced numerous
major wars, and yet Switzerland sat there right in the middle
completely unscathed. At the same time, Switzerland refused to
join any major international alliances or organizations (it only
became a UN member in 2002). The conclusion for Al-Ahmadi is
simple: Switzerland must be the "safe haven where the [Jews']
wealth can be guarded against the wars they themselves spark,"
a safe haven spoken of in the czarist blood libel The Protocols
of the Elders of Zion. For those in the West who naively believe
that holocaust-enducing anti-Semitism is a thing of the past,
blood libels such as The Protocols are actually an increasingly
prominent part of political discourse in the Middle East. So
much so that major Arab newspapers reference The Protocols as
thought it were common knowledge fact that the Jews are planning
a global takeover. And to them, it is. Continued: http://www.israeltoday.co.il/News/tabid/178/nid/22974/language/en-US/Default.aspx

- OCCUPY WALL STREET ACTIVIST BLAMES 'THE JEWS'
- Sunday, October 09, 2011 | Ryan Jones Occupy Wall Street
activist blames 'the Jews'
- It was only a matter of time before activists involved in
the "Occupy Wall Street" economic demonstrations began
to blame "the Jews" for America's financial woes. A
YouTube video making the rounds over the weekend showed one such
activist holding up a sign that read "Hitler's Bankers -
Wall St" and shouting, "The Jews control Wall Street!"
- The few who dared to heckle the man were told to "go
to Israel." When a liberal blogger in the crowd questioned
if the man was planted by the hated right-wing Fox News, the
man replied forcefully, "A f*cking Jew made that up,"
before resuming his chant of "Freedom of speech, freedom
of speech." Continued:

- ISRAEL READY TO STRIKE SYRIA, LEBANON, GAZA
- Sunday, October 09, 2011 - Ryan Jones - Israeli officials
have reportedly warned Syrian dictator Bashar Assad that if he
uses the downfall of his regime as an excuse to launch missiles
at Tel Aviv, Israel will respond with a massive assault against
Syria, Lebanon and Gaza. Unnamed Israeli government sources told
News First Class that the threat was relayed to Assad via European
intelligence agencies. The Israeli counter-threat came just days
after Iran's Fars news agency quoted Assad telling Turkey's foreign
minister that he would launch hundreds of ballistic missiles
at Tel Aviv if the West interferes in his violent crackdown on
pro-democracy protestors in Syria.
- "If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will
need not more than six hours to transfer hundreds of rockets
and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv,"
Assad reportedly said. Israel's threat included Lebanon and Gaza
because Assad is said to have boasted that his own missile barrage
on Tel Aviv would be complemented by Hizballah and Hamas attacks
on Israel. Continued: http://www.israeltoday.co.il/News/tabid/178/nid/22971/

- CLINTON ENDORSES NEGOTIATIONS WITH TERRORISTS
US secretary of state Hillary Clinton praised the Gilad Shalit
deal, which her own nation never would have made.
By A7 Hebrew Service - First Publish: 10/13/2011, 10:46 PM -
Hillary Clinton
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu on Tuesday to congratulate him on his deal with Hamas
for the release of Gilad Shalit. Clinton reportedly told Netanyahu
the decision took "courage and leadership." For his
part Netanyahu thanked Clinton for her well-wishes and said that
it was a difficult decision for him, being a moment where leadership
is tested. Observers say Clinton's sentiments are particularly
surprising given the enduring and iron-clan policy of the United
States against negotiating with terrorists, instead preferring
to mount rescue operations where viable, or to leave captured
citizens in captivity. Negotiating with terrorist groups is a
violation of US law. Continued: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/148746#.TpdnLXITDNo

- PALESTINIANS WANT AN EVEN BIGGER STATE THAN THE 1967 BORDERS
Posted on September 27, 2011 at 12:46am by Sharona Schwartz -
When the Palestinians presented their bid for statehood at the
U.N. Friday, most news outlets suggested Palestinian Authority
President Mahmoud Abbas was aiming for a state based on 1967
borders covering only the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
A closer look at the actual letter he presented to UN Secretary
General Ban Ki-Moon applying for UN membership reveals the Palestinians
are aiming for far more territory.
As reprinted in the Telegraph, Abbass letter reads: "This
application for membership is being submitted on the Palestinian
peoples natural, legal and historic rights and based on
United Nations General Assembly resolution 181 (II) of 29 November
1947 as well as the Declaration of Independence of the State
of Palestine of 15 November 1988 and the acknowledgement by the
General Assembly of this declaration in resolution 43/177 of
15 December 1988."
Lots of dates are cited here. Lets take a closer look.
Abbas says his peoples rights are based on
the 1947 UN Resolution. That year refers to the UN Partition
Plan, the same plan all Arab states rejected and the Jews accepted
for their homeland, after which those Arab neighbors declared
war on Israel.
These maps from GBTV reveal the land allotted to the Jewish State
under the 1947 Partition Plan was in fact much smaller than that
afforded under 1967 borders.
Though President Obama has endorsed Palestinian demands - stated
until now - that their future state be based on 1967 borders,
Israel says borders should be based on the outcome of negotiations.
If Abbass proposal is accepted by the U.N Security Council,
gone from Israel is Jerusalem its capital and home to the sites
most sacred to Jews and Christians. Also gone: Ben Gurion Airport
just outside Tel Aviv, the countrys only major international
airport.
The blog Israel Matzav explains the significance:
"It would mean no Jerusalem and no airport. Even more indefensible
borders than the 1949 armistice lines. The Palestinians
ignore Security Council Resolution 242, which requires that Israel
be left with defensible borders and says nothing
about a Palestinian state. Continued:

- NEW KNESSET SESSION CRUCIAL FOR NETANYAHU'S FATE
Oct 30, 2011 By Yossi Verter Over the last 20 years, the third
winter session of each elected Knesset has become a place of
no return for prime ministers. Yitzhak Rabin was the last to
survive that session in office; he was murdered in November 1995.
None of his successors, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
during his first term, made it beyond the third winter session.
This week, Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin told Dan Shapiro, the
U.S. ambassador to Israel, that during the summer recess he expected
the upcoming session to be the 18th Knesset's last. In the wake
of Gilad Shalit's release, however, he thinks it will continue
to serve until October 2012. When the Knesset went on vacation
in early August, protest encampments had cropped up in every
city. Hundreds of thousands were demanding social justice. A
number of Likud ministers began to worry about their seats. Netanyahu,
who will open the session on Monday with a political speech,
has quite a number of advisers who believe in God, but none would
have dared to predict a comeback like the one he is currently
enjoying. Continued: http://www.haaretz.com/weekend/week-s-end/new-knesset-session-crucial-

BUILDING A PALESTINIAN-FREE KINGDOM
While international leaders are drafting a Palestinian country,
Yehuda Etzion is planning a Torah-centric state and the Third
Temple. No, Palestinians and democracy are not part of this scheme.
By Chaim Levinson Published 11:29 28.09.11
While the president of the Palestinian Authority speaks at the
United Nations, reporting to government leaders and ambassadors
about Palestinian preparedness for an independent state, Yehuda
Etzion is working on his own plan for the region. Etzion, a resident
of the settlement Ofra, has a draft master plan for Jerusalem,
which he is preparing with a team of Ofra residents and an architectural
firm. The plan centers around the Third Temple: where a ring
road will pass, where pilgrims will park, where observation points
will be located. The Arab neighborhoods in East Jerusalem will
be demolished. They are not part of the plan.
The plan, which is supposed to be published in a book this year,
is part of Etzion's work to establish the Kingdom of Israel,
which will put an end to all the talk of a Palestinian state.
Etzion, 60, is among the founders of Ofra. In the 1980s he was
an activist in the Jewish underground and planned to blow up
the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount, but he was arrested
before the plot could be carried out. He was sentenced to seven
years in prison, and ultimately served five. Since his release
he has been fighting to enable Jews to pray on the Temple Mount
and to rebuild the Temple. He makes a living by editing books.

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU, ISRAEL P.M., ACCUSES LEADER OF TURKEY OF
'OUTRAGEOUS COMMENTS'
- JERUSALEM - 9.26.2011 - The prime minister of Israel is accusing
Turkey's leader of incitement for saying the Jewish state uses
the Holocaust as an excuse to kill Palestinians. Relations between
the once-close allies have deteriorated dramatically since Israeli
commandos raided a ship of activists trying to break the blockade
of the Gaza Strip last year, killing nine Turks on board. Turkish
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a TV interview Sunday
that Israel behaves "as if they are the victims all the
time."
He also questioned Israel's claims about the number of citizens
killed by Palestinian rockets fired from Gaza.
Israel's premier, Benjamin Netanyahu, said Monday that Erdogan's
comments were "outrageous charges against Israel that have
nothing to do with the facts." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/26/benjamin-netanyahu-turkey_n_982058.html

BIGGEST LOSERS IN PALESTINE VETO? THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
- by Philip Giraldi, September 22, 2011 - If the Palestinian
application for United Nations full membership actually takes
place Friday and the United States uses its Security Council
veto to stop the process, it will be the final step in a predictable
and preventable tragedy playing out. Some are arguing that Washington
might actually abstain, thereby gaining considerable favorable
sentiment from much of the world and also sending a signal to
Israel that there are limits to the bilateral relationship. But
it is far more likely that President Barack Obama, who has stated
over and over that he will protect Israel in international forums,
will not flinch when he calls on Susan Rice to cast the fatal
vote. Any expectation that the president might hesitate either
because it is the right thing to do or because it benefits the
United States is fanciful, particularly with a presidential election
looming in 2012.
- Washingtons attempts to mediate the situation
have really been limited to pressuring the Palestinians to back
off. Sending National Security Council official Dennis Ross,
Israels lawyer, to Ramallah to talk around
the Palestinian leadership should, if anything, indicate to the
Palestinians that Washington is, as it always has been, firmly
in the Israeli corner. So let us assume that Palestine will feel
compelled to seek full U.N. membership as the worlds 194th
nation and that Washington will then veto the application. The
first question then has to be whether the entire process had
any meaning at all or it was just kabuki, a stylized show played
out to an appreciative audience with a predictable ending. The
short answer is that the Palestinians will certainly be on the
losing end as they have been for more than 60 years
but the real losers will be the United States and Israel.
The mainstream media has echoed Israeli and American arguments
that Palestinian statehood is meaningless without a negotiated
settlement of issues on the ground. But Israel has made it clear
that it has no desire to negotiate anything while it continues
to occupy the West Bank, so the Palestinian choice is to accept
the status quo, in which it is powerless and voiceless, or attempt
to line up the international community more solidly behind it
and shift the playing field. Continued: http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2011/09/21/biggest-losers-in-palestine-veto-the-american-people/

ABBAS AND STATEHOOD, SCHEME FOR STATUS QUO WITHOUT HAMAS
- Charles E. Carlson Sep 24, 2011 - If there is to be peace
it is up to the United Nations to make good on what it did not
do in 1947. It must create the State of Palestine in exactly
the same way it acted to create the state of Israel. Jews who
have since built settlements, homes, or businesses inside the
Palestinian mandate should then become Palestinian citizens with
full voting rights in the new state, and visa versa. Let those
on both sides who want to move sell their property and do so.
The United Nations clearly established these borders in 1947
with Resolution #181. Anything short of this is meaningless.
The UN must be prepared to back up its act by sending in armed
peacekeepers during transition to supervise a new general election
in the new state. This plan for peace was outlined in Andrew
J. Hurley's masterful 1990 classic, Holocaust II, Saving Israel
From Suicide, which was republished by WHTT.org, with permission,
as "One Nation Under Israel".

CHURCHES AGAINST ISRAEL
- Friday Church News Notes, September 23, 2011, www.wayoflife.org
- The following is excerpted from FrontPageMag.com, July 7, 2011:
A few days ago UK researchers announced that 17 skeletons
belonged to Jews were found at the bottom of a medieval well
in Norwich, England. The Jews were murdered in a pogrom or had
been forced to commit suicide rather than submit to demands for
conversion to Christianity. The bodies date back to the 12th
or 13th Centuries, at a time when Jewish people faced killings,
banishment and persecution throughout all Europe. Those 17 Jews
were killed because of replacement theology, the
most ancient Christian calumny arguing that because of their
denial of the divinity of Christ, the Jews have forfeited Gods
promises to them which have been transferred to the Church. Some
10 centuries later, global Christian forums are reviving this
theological demonology against the heirs of those 17 Jews: the
Jews of the State of Israel.
- The World Council of Churches, an ecumenical Christian body
based in Geneva and boasting 590 million worshipers, just ended
a four-day conference in the Greek city of Volos. Not a single
word of criticism was uttered there against the Islamists who
are persecuting Arabs who believe Jesus. Lutherans arrived to
Volos from the United States, Catholics and Protestants from
Bethlehem and Nazareth, Orthodox Christians from Greece and Russia,
lecturers from Beirut and Copts from Egypt. The conference declared
the Jewish State a sin and occupying power
... The conference denied 3,000 years of Jewish life in the land
stretching between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River, took
sides against the very presence of Israel ... In the last few
months we have seen a radical and dangerous increase of attacks
on Israel by the Protestant and Catholic churches. ... The patriarch
of the Antioch Church, the Catholic Melkite Gregory III Laham,
proclaimed that there is a Zionist conspiracy against Islam,
reviving old conspiracy theories that led to infamous pogroms.
... The most influential international Catholic peace movement,
Pax Christi, just promoted a boycott of Israels goods in
the name of love. ... Today, most of the divestment campaign
against Israel is driven by Christian groups such as the Dutch
Interchurch Organization and the Irish Catholic group Troicaré,
both funded by the EU. The United Church of Canada, a very popular
and mainstream Christian denomination, just voted to boycott
six companies (Caterpillar, Motorola, Ahava, Veolia, Elbit Systems
and Chapters/Indigo) and South African Anglican bishop Desmond
Tutu convinced the University of Johannesburg to severe all its
links with Israeli fellows. Last year the Methodist Church of
Britain voted to boycott Israeli-produced goods and services
from Judea and Samaria. ... At a Rome synod, Archbishop Cyrille
Salim Bustros, a cleric chosen by Joseph Ratzinger [now Pope
Benedict] to draft the synods 44 final propositions, denied
the Jewish peoples biblical right to the Promised Land.

ISRAEL: NINE FRONTS IN THE NEXT WAR
Posted by David Meir-Levi Bio on Sep 7th, 2011 - The current
unrest pursuant to the Arab Spring is a mixed blessing
for Iran. On one hand, if young Bashir were to fall, Iran will
lose its most important ally in the western part of the Arab
world. A break with Syria would be a serious defeat for Iran,
since it would no longer be able to supply Hezbollah directly,
nor would it have direct contact and supervision over its proxy
terror armies in Lebanon, the Sinai, and the Gaza Strip. It would
also be very bad news for Hezbollah, whose terrorist leaders
rely heavily on Iranian supplies, funds, and armaments, all channeled
into Lebanon via Syria. Hamas too would suffer from a break in
its link with its Iranian godfather.
But on the other hand, Iran is exploiting the great opportunity
created by the chaos and upheaval of the Arab Spring.
Iran does not want to see its foothold in the west undermined
by this upheaval, so it has helped Bashir in his use of extreme
force; and it has also begun to manipulate the Arab Spring
violence and unrest to its advantage. Continued: http://frontpagemag.com/2011/09/07/nine-fronts-in-the-next-war/
'IRAN FM ARAB SPRING HERALDS EMERGENCE OF MUSLIM M.E.
By JPOST.COM STAFF - 09/18/2011 15:47 - Salehi says that uprisings
are "natural reaction" of Muslims when faced with oppression;
slams "illegitimate interests" of Western states. Iranian
Foreign Minister Ali Salehi on Sunday told a conference in Tehran
that the Arab Spring is heralding the emergence of an Islamic
Middle East, PressTV reported.
Speaking at a conference on "Islamic Awakening," the
Iranian foreign minister attributed the developments in the Arab
world to "the unhealthy and oppressive relations between
certain governments and their nations" in recent decades.

U.S. IS QUIETLY GETTING READY FOR SYRIA WITHOUT ASSAD
By HELENE COOPER - Published: September 19, 2011 - WASHINGTON
Increasingly convinced that President Bashar al-Assad
of Syria will not be able to remain in power, the Obama administration
has begun to make plans for American policy in the region after
he exits. In coordination with Turkey, the United States has
been exploring how to deal with the possibility of a civil war
among Syrias Alawite, Druse, Christian and Sunni sects,
a conflict that could quickly ignite other tensions in an already
volatile region.
- While other countries have withdrawn their ambassadors from
Damascus, Obama administration officials say they are leaving
in place the American ambassador, Robert S. Ford, despite the
risks, so he can maintain contact with opposition leaders and
the leaders of the countrys myriad sects and religious
groups.
- Officials at the State Department have also been pressing
Syrias opposition leaders to unite as they work to bring
down the Assad government, and to build a new government. Continued:

MK ELDAD IRAN USING ARAB SPRING TO MAKE NUCLEAR BOMB
By JPOST.COM STAFF 09/15/2011 10:43 - National Union MK tells
USC journalism school people who believe in Arab Spring are fools,
protests will only bring radical Islam to power. National Union
MK Arye Eldad said that Iran is using the Arab Spring to distract
Western attention from its nuclear program, and that "The
people who believe in the Arab Spring are fools who are addicted
to the wishful thinking that these changes will lead the democratization
of the Middle East."
Speaking with Benjamin Gottlieb of the University of Southern
California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism,
Eldad said that the "only thing that may stop Iran is a
military attack and we have to hope that we have a different
US president with a different policy before Iran has the bomb."

IRAELI-EGYPTIAN PEACE: THE BEGINNING OF THE END
Posted by P. David Hornik Bio on Sep 12th, 2011 - From Friday
evening to early Saturday morning the equivalent of a high-jinks,
nail-biting rescue movie occurred at the Israeli embassy in Cairo.
As far as the endangered individuals were concerned, it even
had a happy ending. Nothing else about it inspires much cheer,
though.
It started (timeline here) at about 5 p.m. on Friday when about
five thousand Egyptian protesters who had been at legendary Tahrir
Square - from which not long ago Thomas Friedman was extolling
the democracy youth and saying Israel was not
part of this story at all - made their way to the nearby
Israeli embassy armed with clubs, hammers, axes and explosives.
The youth started cursing Israel and demanding that
its ambassador and other diplomatic staff be expelled. Continued:

ISRAEL AND THE UPCOMING NUCLEAR WAR
- By Gordon Duff - Posted on September 12, 2011 by Umar Qutb
- The total destruction of Israel, something used by the Zionist
lobby to bilk the US out of billions for years, is no longer
a dream, it is inevitable. The only question is when?
With it a limited world war may emerge with some surprises in
store. It all started long ago but we can focus back one year
when Israel murdered 9 Turkish citizens in an act of piracy,
peace activists on an aid ship heading for Gaza. Aid ships heading
for Gaza now get a military escort from the Turkish Navy and
Turkeys president is heading for Gaza and Egypt now, to
slap Israel down.
A year ago, Israel and Turkey were best of friends. Their spy
agencies in the US shared nuclear secrets, sold them to China,
North Korea, Pakistan, Brazil, worked as partners blackmailing
half of Washingtons army of corrupt officials and traitorous
military officers. Patriotism in Washington is rare nowadays,
considered stupid. Washington is all about globalism
and no borders, about corporations, not America.
To most in Washington, America is a joke, a bankrupt has
been nation drowning in debt with a military now useless,
spread across the globe running errands for a cabal of international
bankers.
Until a week ago, the Turkish Army believed it had control of
Turkey, despite the elected government. Israel believed the same.
They were wrong. A year ago, Israel believed Turkey would always
be controlled because of their desire to join the European Union.
Now that dream is considered hopeless. Who would want to join
anyway, the EU is broke, falling apart and toothless. Turkey,
instead, is an economic powerhouse, outdistancing all but Germany
in technology, productivity and science.
Turkey also has a huge army, a mobile army and a military tradition
of relentlessness and, to be truthful, cruelty. Israel has been
pointing that out of late, how Turkey wiped out the Armenians,
much as Israel is wiping out the Palestinians. Problem is, Turkeys
army is big, highly disciplined, capable of supporting military
operations across the entire Middle East, allied with Iraq, Iran
and Egypt and considers Israels killings of Turkish citizens
last year as an act of war.
This leaves only America or Israels nuclear weapons to
protect them.

THE PALESTINE MYTH VS: THE COLD HARD FACTS
In the history of the earth, there has never been a country of
Palestine! For 3000 years the land between the Mediterranean
Sea and Persia was conquered and rebuilt many times. In the order
of conquest:
· Israel/King David around 1000 BC
· Babylonians
· Alexander the Great
· Romans
· Muslims
· Crusaders
· Muslims
· Ottomans
· British/French in WWl
In 1917 Britain and France defeated the Ottomans in WWl and did
what all victors do - they divided up the spoils of war. The
British gave the Jews the right to return to their long sought
homeland. The new Jewish area, called "Palestine" by
the British, consisted of the land of Israel AND Jordan. As you
can see in the map below (click on the link), area on both sides
of the Jordan River/Dead Sea was given to Israel for her homeland.

HEZBOLLAH ANNOUNCES NEXT TARGETS
On Friday, October 21, 2011, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah
said to the Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper that the next war with
Israel will start in Tel Aviv and that Hezbollah has many
surprises that will change the face of the region in a
future war. Next time there would be no red lines, he added.
What is he talking about?
- Readers of this website have already found similar claims
made by me in the past, but coming from Hezbollah they have interesting
implications. It means Hezbollah has fully regained its operational
capabilities following the 2006 War and later clashes with the
IDF. It means also that Hezbollahs assessment of the situation
implies a further deterioration in the near future. In the article
Out of the north an evil shall break
I commented on the
strains caused by the finding of massive amounts of natural gas
in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. Israel took control of four
major gas fields, some of them on Lebanese waters. Turkey and
Lebanon have already expressed discontent and this may well trigger
a future military event in the area. A war may begin also as
an escalation of minor events, as the 2006 war did. The map above
shows (click on the link) the settlements hit by the Hezbollah
in 2006; it practical hit the entire north of Israel, having
clear capabilities of dissecting Israel near Hadera (another
Jewish settlement with an Arabic name Green).
Many strategic targets are within this area, including military
depots, NATO depots, chemical industry plants, military industry
installations including RAFAEL, strategic military bases, Israels
main port and many other goodies. Destroying a few major junctions
in this area (mainly Golani and those giving access to Haifa)
is enough to stop almost completely Israels response capabilities.
In 2006, Hezbollah positioned itself as a significant opponent
to Israel. Regardless how, few doubt a war will erupt soon if
there is no further and significant advance in the peace process.

IS TURKEY GOING ROGUE?
by Daniel Pipes - National Review Online - September 27, 2011
- "...Looming economic collapse: Turkey faces a credit crunch,
one largely ignored in light of crises in Greece and elsewhere.
As analyst David Goldman points out, Erdog (an and the AKP took
the country on a financial binge: bank credit ballooned while
the current account deficit soared, reaching unsustainable levels.
The party's patronage machine borrowed massive amounts of short-term
debt to finance a consumption bubble that effectively bought
it the June 2011 elections. Goldman calls Erdog a "Third
World strongman" and compares Turkey today with Mexico in
1994 or Argentina in 2000, "where a brief boom financed
by short-term foreign capital flows led to currency devaluation
and a deep economic slump."
Sending the Mavi Marmara to Gaza amounted to an intentional provocation.
Escalating Kurdish problems: Some 15-20 percent of Turkey's citizens
identify as Kurds, a distinct historical people; although many
Kurds are integrated, a separatist revolt against Ankara that
began in 1984 has recently reached a new crescendo with a more
assertive political leadership and more aggressive guerrilla
attacks.
Looking for a fight with Israel: In the tradition of Gamal Abdel
Nasser and Saddam Hussein, the Turkish prime minister deploys
anti-Zionist rhetoric to make himself an Arab political star.
One shudders to think where, thrilled by this adulation, he may
end up. After Ankara backed a protest ship to Gaza in May 2010,
the Mavi Marmara, whose aggression led Israeli forces to kill
eight Turkish citizens plus an ethnic Turk, it has relentlessly
exploited this incident to stoke domestic fury against the Jewish

- RICK PERRY DANCING WITH RABBIS
- Posted on September 26, 2011 by Conservative Byte Texas Gov.
Rick Perry is working fervently to secure the Republican nomination.
Naturally, one of the issues that has come up repeatedly on the
campaign trail is turmoil in the Middle East and the United States
relationship with Israel. Politicos Maggie Haberman writes:
Rick Perry has engulfed himself in Mideast politics with a hardline
stand support Israel in his presidential campaign, a move that
his backers and campaign have said comes from the heart, and
predates the campaign. Heres footage of the entire event
(dancing is also included here around 4:55): Continued: http://articles.cnn.com/2011-09-14/world/mexico.

- NOTHING CONCRETE EXPECTED WHEN QUARTET AMBASSADORS MEET
- Ambassadors from the Middle East Quartet (United States,
United Nations, European Union and Russia) are scheduled to meet,
Sunday, in Brussels. The Associated Press quoted EU spokesman
Michael Mann saying, on Friday, "The purpose is to review
progress and keep up the momentum, with the overall objective
of encouraging the parties to return to negotiations."
- The AP cited an un-named diplomat as saying, "We don't
expect anything concrete to come out of (Sunday's) meeting."
Israel said last week that it accepts the Quartet's invitation
to resume talks with the Palestinian Authority (PA). The PA says
it won't resume talks unless Israel stops construction and enters
talks based on borders in effect before the start of the Six-Day
War in 1967. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/221816

- ISRAELI MILITARY TO EQUIP JEWISH SETTLERS WITH GAS AND GRENADES
- Army training for West Bank civilians as Palestinians push
for UN recognition
- By Donald Macintyre in Jerusalem - Wednesday, 31 August 2011
- Palestinian farmers have repeatedly clashed with Israeli settlers
in the long-running land dispute. Now Israel is preparing for
possible clashes on the West Bank
- The Israeli military is to train Jewish settlers in the West
Bank and plans to equip them with tear gas and stun grenades
to confront Palestinian demonstrators when their leaders press
for UN recognition next month. The enlistment of settlers, which
has already opened with a training session for their local security
officers, is part of the military's comprehensive "Operation
Summer Seeds" for dealing with possible violence as the
UN considers whether or not to recognise a Palestinian state.
- According to a document leaked to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz,
the defence establishment's working assumption challenged
by the moderate Palestinian leadership in Ramallah is
that the UN move will trigger "mass disorder". This
includes, Israel contends, "marches toward main junctions,
Israeli communities, and education centers; efforts at damaging
symbols of [Israeli] government". Continued:http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israeli-

- ISRAEL SENDS 2 WARSHIPS TO EGYPTIAN BORDER - EGYPTIAN BORDER
MILITARY SOURCES TELL
- Tuesday, August 30, 2011 - AP Israeli Navy dispatched two
additional warships to maritime border with Egypt following intelligence
indicating viable terror threat. Ynet News - The Israeli military
said Monday that it has sent two additional warships to the Red
Sea border with Egypt following warnings that militants are planning
another attack on southern Israel from Egyptian soil. Monday
saw IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Benny Gantz order the deployment
across the entire southern sector, and especially in the area
near the Israel-Egypt border, increased, following intelligence
indicating a viable terror threat in the area.
- The southern sector, and especially the area adjacent to
the border, has been virtually flooded with military forces,
deployed in a manner defined by one security source as "unprecedented."
No changes in security alignments were observed on the Egyptian
side of the border. The IDF has also deployed advanced technology
in the area in order to thwart terror attacks. Military intelligence
suggests that a terror cell has left the Gaza Strip and intends
to infiltrate Israel through Sinai. Continued: http://www.activistpost.com/2011/08/report-israel-sends-2-warships-to.html

- JORDAN'S KING, AT UN, CALLS FOR MAJOR PUSH TOWARDS PEACE
IN THE MIDDLE EAST
- 21 September 2011 Voicing support for Palestines
efforts to seek full United Nations membership, King Abdullah
II of Jordan today called for a vigorous international push with
concrete steps to end the Middle East crisis based on the two-State
solution of Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace.
Not words, not process, but a decisive end to conflict
and a new beginning in peace, the peace that comes from real
statehood and recognized rights for Palestinians, allowing people
to look forward in dignity and hope, a peace that brings real
security for Israelis, outing aside their fortress mentality
and achieving acceptance in their neighbourhood and the world,
he stressed in a speech to the General Assembly on the opening
day of its annual general debate. Continued: http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=39674&Cr=palestin&Cr1=

- SECURITY COUNCIL SC/10396
- Department of Public Information - New York September 27,
2011 Security Council 6623rd Meeting (AM)
- Palestinians, Israelis Remain Far Apart, Top Official Tells
Security Council. While Noting Existence of Building Blocks
for More Effective Talks. Give Diplomacy a Chance,
He Urges, as Lebanons Prime Minister Hails Winds
of Change Heralding Palestinian Spring
- Palestinian and Israeli positions remained far apart after
a week of intensive diplomacy, but the existence
of some building blocks - a clear timetable, expectations
that the parties must put forward proposals and an active role
by the Quartet - could make negotiations more effective, the
senior United Nations political official told the Security Council
today. It will not be easy to chart a way forward, but
now is the time for everyone to give diplomacy a chance,
said B. Lynn Pascoe, Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs,
as he delivered his monthly briefing on the situation in the
Middle East, including the Palestinian question. Continued:

- TIME TO CANCEL THE OSLO ACCORDS
- by Maayana Miskin - The time has come for Israel to cancel
the Oslo Accords, Minister of National Infrastructure Uzi Landau
told Arutz Sheva. The "absurd" accords should be canceled
both because of the Palestinian Authority's plan to seek unilateral
statehood, and because they are harmful (to Israel).
- "No less importantly, they paved the way to give legitimacy
to the existence of a Palestinian people and to the argument
that they deserve a state in Judea and Samaria, the cradle of
our society. These accords turned the leader of a terrorist gang,
Yasser Arafat, into a supposed cultured leader worthy of joining
the society of nations," he continued.
- ...If the PA does go to UN, it will win majority support,
even if leading democracies are against its plans, Landau said.
The PA must realize that if it does go to the UN, "the price
they will pay will be very high," he said. Despite the PA's
public talk of non-violent protests, Israel must prepare for
violence, Landau warned. "We look at our neighbors and we
see what 'non-violent protests' look like in the Middle East.
We will need to defend ourselves".
- "Anyone who does not appreciate the danger is naive.
For them, the distance between going out to protest and pulling
a trigger is very short," he added. http://www.shamrak.com/articles.php

- EULOGY FOR THE OSLO ACCORDS
- by Steven Shamrak - On September 28th the world was supposed
to celebrate, but conveniently forgot the anniversary of the
Israeli-Palestinian Interim Agreement, widely known as the Oslo
Accords. Three political stooges Yasser Arafat, Yitzhak Rabin
and Shimon Perez received the Nobel Peace prize for signing this
worthless piece of paper, which was based on fake promises made
by Yasser Arafat in a letter to the Prime Minister of Israel,
Rabin on 9 September, 1993.
- In this letter Yasser Arafat promised: The PLO considers
that the signing of the Declaration of Principles constitutes
an historic event, inaugurating a new epoch of peaceful coexistence,
free from violence and all other acts which endanger peace and
stability. Accordingly, the PLO renounces the use of terrorism
and other acts of violence and will assume responsibility over
all PLO elements and personnel in order to assure their compliance,
prevent violations and discipline violators.
- It was particularly not convenient to celebrate the dead
accord when Mahmoud Abbas came to the UN and put the final nail
in its coffin, unilaterally abandoning the principles of negotiation
and undermined stability of the peace process. Continued: http://www.shamrak.com/articles.php

- :AMERICA MUST STAND WITH ISRAEL
- Oct 11, 2011 5:28 PM Dr. Mike Evans wrote yesterday: The
Quartet for Middle East Peace (made up of the United States,
the European Union, Russia and the United Nations) met in Brussels
on Sunday, attempting again to get the Israelis and Palestinians
to resume direct negotiations. Israel is being forced to listen
to their demands by a combination of threats and pressure that
come close to outright blackmail. Meanwhile the Palestinians
continue to refuse to even begin talks unless Israel gives in
to their demands in advance.
- The nation of Israel is almost completely alone and isolated
on the world stage today. Even countries like the United States
that for so long were loyal to Israel have turned against her.
Hillary Clinton even intervened in a Supreme Court case last
week to try to prevent Jerusalem from being considered part of
Israel by the US State Department!
- America must stand with Israel and against those who attempt
to blackmail and intimidate Israel into making concessions to
Palestinian murderers who refuse to negotiate, unless Israel
concedes to their every whim and demand in advance of talks!
This is NOT rational efforts that promote peace! [Email Ron White]

- ISRAEL, HAMAS BOTH BENEFIT FROM PRISONER SWAP
- October 12, 2011 Palestinians and some Israelis are celebrating
an agreement to free more than 1,000 Palestinians and a young
Israeli soldier in the coming days. The deal comes after five
years of hard negotiations between the Israeli government and
the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Sealing the deal was in
the interests of the various parties. The announcement of the
prisoner exchange deal Tuesday night brought celebrations in
Israel and the Gaza Strip, which Hamas controls. Negotiations
for the exchange had stalled repeatedly and as a result, the
announcement came as a surprise to many.
- The head of Israel's Institute for Counter-Terrorism, Boaz
Ganor, says the agreement was finally reached, because it serves
the current interests of Israel and Hamas as well as Egypt, which
brokered the deal.
- "This exchange was signed as an outcome of a unique
window of opportunity in which the interests of all the relevant
actors have more benefit in concluding this crisis than sustaining
it," said Ganor.
- He says the accord helps Hamas' goals of gaining international
legitimacy. Hamas, which took control of Gaza four years ago,
has been isolated diplomatically because it refuses to recognize
Israel and backs an armed struggle against it. Continued: http://www.voanews.com/english/news/Israel-Hamas-Both-Benefit-from-Prisoner-Swap-131605328.html

- REPORT: UN VOTE ON PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD MIGHT BE DELAYED
FOR WEEKS
- Published 19:31 20.09.11 Latest update 19:31 20.09.11 -Sources
say a 'silent agreement' exists among Western powers to act to
postpone the Security Council vote.
By Shlomo Shamir - The upcoming United Nations votes on a Palestinian
state are expected to be postponed to an unspecified date, sources
in New York said Tuesday. Postponements are expected for both
the UN General Assembly vote on the declaration of an independent
Palestinian state, as well as the UN Security Council vote on
full Palestinian membership, the sources said.
While media sources are preoccupied with whether the United States
will succeed in its attempts to secure a majority of opposing
votes to decline the Palestinians' bid for statehood, sources
say a "silent agreement" exists between Western powers
to act to postpone the vote at the security Council. Continued:

- INTO THE VALLEY
- Today, September 13, 2011, will be a momentous day. Today,
representatives of 193 countries are coming together on the east
side of Manhattan for the opening of the 66th session of the
United Nations General Assembly. Of the 168 items on their agenda,
one towers above the rest, guaranteed to dominate the 15-day
event: Item #36 The question of Palestine.
- When that number comes up on September 20, the nations of
this world will secure their places in the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
For during the course of their deliberations, they will be called
upon to vote for, or against, recognizing a Palestinian state.
Recognizing a Palestinian state means voting for the creation
of an Arab state in the biblical heartland of the Land of Israel.
It means voting for the permanent division of Gods
land. For behold, in those days and at that time, When
I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also
gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of
My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among
the nations; They have also divided up My land.
-
- Proclaim this among the nations:
Prepare for war!
Wake up the mighty men,
Let all the men of war draw near,
Let them come up.
Beat your plowshares into swords
And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, I am strong.
Assemble and come, all you nations,
And gather together all around.
Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD.
Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of
Jehoshaphat;
For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.
Come, go down;
For the winepress is full,
The vats overflow
For their wickedness is great.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!
For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
The sun and moon will grow dark,
And the stars will diminish their brightness.
The LORD also will roar from Zion,
And utter His voice from Jerusalem;
The heavens and earth will shake;
But the LORD will be a shelter for His people,
And the strength of the children of Israel. (Joel 3: 1-2, 9-16)
- Who will endorse Palestine? This question headlined
an article on the Israeli Ynetnews website two weeks ago.
- According to the report, officials in Jerusalem believe the
Palestinians will secure an automatic majority due
to the guaranteed support of the 116 non-aligned
states, which tend to vote as a bloc and promote joint
interests. Just 12 more yes votes will secure a two-thirds
majority. And on September 12, Russia announced its determination
to support whatever the Palestinian Arabs want.
