- AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUSH:
- THE SECOND COMING OF CHAMBERLAIN
October 11, 2007 - By: Michael Anbar -
- An open letter to President Bush
President of the United States
The Honorable George W. Bush
E-mail: president@whitehouse.gov
Dear Mr. President
After long hesitation I am writing to you this letter. Having
been your long time supporter it is hard for me to see the waning
of your legacy in this last phase of your presidency.
You have been confronted with the greatest ideological and
political challenge this country has faced for a very long time,
possibly since it was established the challenge of Islamo-fascism,
as you have rightfully named it.
The way you confront this challenge will determine your place
in history. If you confront Islamo-fascism and win, you will
be remembered as a hero as were Charles Martel and Jan Sobieski
who saved Western civilization from impending conquest and annihilation,
by the ancestors of the same Islamic zealots. You will then be
remembered together with Winston Churchill and our Ronald Reagan
who defeated Nazism and Communism, respectfully. As we all faced
this challenge, I did expect you to rise to the historical occasion
and defeat this formidable enemy.
- You must have realized that Islamo-fascism, like Nazism and
Communism before it, aims to rule the entire world and impose
its supremacist ideology on it. Moreover, while Nazism and Communism
were part of Western civilization, Islamo-fascism is an alien
religion-driven ideology, which contradicts practically every
value we cherish. For one, it has little respect for human life,
which is in the center of our ethical values, and it glorifies
the death of its Jihadist suicide terrorists. Moreover, Islamo-fascism
denies personal freedom, freedom of belief and freedom of expression,
on which our great nation has been founded. This is why these
Islamic religious zealots consider our nation to be their greatest
enemy, which they must conquer and destroy before they can rule
the rest of humanity.

- THE PERILS OF A PALESTINIAN STATE
The Jerusalem Summit - The following is a chillingly accurate
prediction made three decades ago, by none other than Shimon
Peres, the nations newly elected president. In it he foresaw,
in precise detail, the dire perils that would result if Israel
were to embark on precisely the policy he himself championed
and which continues to advocate with passion:
The establishment of such [a Palestinian]
state means the inflow of combat ready Palestinian forces (more
than 25,000 men under arms) into Judea and Samaria; this force,
together with the local youth, will double itself in a short
time. It will not be short of weapons or other [military] equipment,
and in a short space of time, an infrastructure for waging war
will be set up in Judea, Samaria, and the Gaza Strip. Israel
will have problems in preserving day-to-day security, which may
drive the country into war, or undermine the morale of its citizens.
In time of war, the frontiers of the Palestinian state will constitute
an excellent staging point for mobile forces to mount attacks
on infrastructure installations vital for Israels existence,
to impede the freedom of action of the Israeli air-force in the
skies over Israel, and to cause bloodshed among the population
in
areas adjacent to the frontier-line. Shimon Peres, Tomorrow is

- I. DIPLOMATIC STRATEGY FOR THE DEFENSE OF JUDEO-CHRISTIAN
CIVILIZATIONAL VALUES
- Gender apartheid and religious intolerance, are the two most
objectionable aspects of Islamic radicalism today. These issues
should become the target for assertive action by those who feel
that their entire system of values and world view are gravely
imperiled by the spread of Islamic extremism. For a concerted
drive to abolish gender apartheid and religious repression on
the one hand, and to enhance the status of Moslem women and install
religious pluralism/tolerance in the Moslem world, on the other,
would do much to underpin Judeo-Christian values and undermine
the cause of Islamic radicalism across the international stage.
Indeed, an endeavor of this kind, if successful, could be a major
force for promoting positive and moderating change in the very
fabric of Islamist regimes.
In implementing of such a drive, the major thrust of effort should
be focused on persuading governments to adopt the type legislation
which reflect the spirit of the Jackson/Vanik amendment in the
conduct of their foreign policy. It was this amendment, which
made benefits contingent on domestic reform and liberalization,
that eventually succeeded in applying pressure on the USSR to
allow Jewish emigration and induced greater tolerance in the
Soviet's regime attitude to minority groups.
Similarly, groups that hold Bible-based, Judeo-Christian values
dear, should marshal their resources to influence both incumbent
politicians, government officials and civil society elites and
o pinion makers for the incorporation of similar, morally sound
principles in their country's foreign policy.
For a more detailed presentation of the proposed strategy, its
rationale and operational components see http://jerusalemsummit.org/eng/diplomatic_strategy.php

- THERE WILL BE NO BORDERS FOR ISRAEL
- [Ednote: The ten regions prophesied in the Bible are literally
being established so Antichrist can reward the 10 Kings of the
EU for a job well done. Yes, there are also 10 Kings (political
leaders) running the West EU. It has been discovered that EU
is composed of two entities. The article is in this newsletter
series.]
- THE CASE OF THE DISAPPEARING ISRAEL
http://youtube.com/profile?user=JewishRage
- You see, sir. It doesn't make sense. Why would Israel's leaders
destroy their country? You see the problem I have? Then I discover
they're all felons. Defence Minister Barak ran from Tzeelim Bet
and left five of his soldiers dead on the ground. And he gave
the order at Sultan Yakob in Lebanon in 1982, which left at least
26 of his countrymen dead. He's a killer and is now a leader
of his country. Deputy Prime Minister Chaim Ramon was almost
imprisoned on pedophilia charges not three months ago. He French-kissed
a soldier barely passed her 18th birthday. And then he's made
a minister just two steps from taking over the whole country.
You see my problem, don't you? How do these crooks get on top?
In any law abiding place they'd be selling junk on the phone.
So why are they giving the commands to wreck their nation?
- I'm trying to figure out the same thing with this Prime Minister,
Olmert. He's been investigated five times by the State Comptroller
for embezzling public money. You see sir, what bothers me? How
did he rise so high? It's very confusing. He's giving all your
strategic territory to your worst enemies. Why would he do it?
I hope I'm not disturbing you, sir, but the answer is in your
president, one Shimon P.F.Y. Peres. (Phooey, Feh, Yech). He went
to the Vatican on September 6 and promised to solve all your
problems this year. But sir, who is he solving problems for?
We have a long file on this Peres. He has his fingers in serious
murders like those of Rabin, Sharon and Zeevi. Worse, he has
been working for the Vatican to get the Jews out of Jerusalem.
Yes sir, it's been proved.
- Now here is what's interesting. Before PFY Peres arrives
in the Vatican, a Vatican agent, an actual king of Spain, named
Juan Carlos, secretly meets with a Saudi prince named Salman.
You see, a Saudi "peace" plan is being pushed by the
pope. But it's exactly the "peace" plans of a New York
group called the Council On Foreign Relations, called Barcelona,
Oslo or the Roadmap. Israel withdraws to indefensible positions
and is destroyed. And that's what bothers me. Why this meeting
before Peres arrives in Rome?
- I know the King of Spain can have a secret meeting, but another
thing bothers me. Why, on September 4, would the Italian Foreign
Minister arrive in Israel to meet with, not only Israel's "leaders,"
but with this Tony Blair, a British citizen all tied up with
one President Bush. And why would he fly back to Italy to meet
with this Peres just as he's sitting with the pope?
- If that was all, I'd finish up my report and make it to my
nephew's christening. But something very strange bothers me.
Why did this pope meet with the Saudi Foreign Minister right
after his Peres meeting and just after his visit with the Syrian
vice-President? I know who is killing Israel, but the victims
don't want to know. The residents of Judea and Samaria are thoroughly
deluded, sir. They look for any sign to live another day. A new
group of immigrants excites them, sir. They don't count everyone
leaving, or the mortal risk the newcomers will face. Not many
will make it, I'm afraid. They are thrilled that half the army's
officers are religious and don't understand why these officers,
from Elazar or Takoah, are leading the operations to remove them
from their homes. They could fight their end by organizing a
strike against the army. But what works for garbagemen is too
good for them.
- They think the Arab threat is worse than the one from within.
They are infiltrated, have no control over their future, and
won't fight back. And worse, sir, much worse, they have been
twisted into thinking some sort of messiah will save them. And
gentiles are drooling to take their minds away. Or the survivors,
anyway. I guess that explains most of it, but there is one more
fact the resistors won't fight. This has been going on for more
than a generation. This Council On Foreign Relations has been
after Israel since, at least, 1975 when executive Henry Kissinger
has promised to reduce Israel to nothing. Just prior to Peres'
recent papal visit, this President Bush, who's grandfather founded
the Council, promised the PLO that he will force Israel back
to its 1949 borders. The end will begin this November in America.
Sir. Notes: http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=44552
- Great secrecy surrounds King Juan Carlos' visit with Saudis/great
security
- King Juan Carlos interrupted his holidays in Mallorca
for a few hours on Sunday to pay a visit. The courtesy call was
strictly private and lasted for at least four hours, according
to different sources close to the royal family.Very little is
known about the meeting which took place in the Al Riyadh palace,
next to El Rocío, the replica of the White House built
by the late King Fahd. Discreet but tight security surrounding
the princes residence, with several National Police patrols
on guard, was the only sign of the presence of the Spanish
monarch, who had travelled to the Costa del Sol for the second
year running to greet the brother of the late Saudi monarch,
with whom King Juan Carlos enjoyed a close friendship. http://www.zionism-israel.com/hdoc/kissinger_iraq_israel_1975.htm

- OLMERT HAS DARED TO 'OFFER UP TEMPLE MOUNT'
- By Stan Goodenough - August 29, 2007 - For the second time
in two weeks, journalists are reporting that Israeli Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert has offered to relinquish Israel's holiest site to
the Arabs in exchange for promises of peace from the "Palestinians."
According to "top Palestinian sources" quoted in WorldNetDaily,
Olmert presented a plan to the PA Tuesday, the same day the Israeli
leader held a meeting in Jerusalem with PLO/PA chief Mahmoud
Abbas.
- This plan is said to cede full authority over the Temple
Mount to the Muslim Arab world while Israel would retain control
over the Western (Wailing) Wall and its plaza below the mount.
A combined Muslim, Jewish and Christian "taskforce"
would govern sites holy to the three religions in the Temple
Mount vicinity.
- While Jerusalem is often called a city holy to "the
three great monotheistic religions" of Judaism, Christianity
and Islam, it is more accurately the holy city of two great monotheistic
religions and one monotheistic heathenism.
- Muslims do not serve the God of Israel; they worship the
ancient moon-god of Arabia, Allah. Jerusalem is not mentioned
once in their "sacred" writings. By contrast, the Temple
Mount has been the most sacred place on earth to the Jewish people
for 3,000 years. It is the site of Israel's ancient First and
Second Temples, and the Bible states repeatedly that it is the
place the God of Israel has chosen to put His name.
- The Temple Mount is also the "place of My throne and
the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the
midst of the children of Israel forever," God says in Ezekiel
43:7.
- Jews and Christians believe the Messiah, Son of David, will
reign over the world from this special site.
- Despite this, the shocking reports about Olmerts action
had been largely ignored by the Israeli press more than 24 hours
after WorldNetDaily published them.

- THE COMING DIPLOMATIC LYNCHING OF ISRAEL
By Emanuel A. Winston (excerpted from Israel Insider)
When the Arabist U.S. State Department
goes into full attack mode against Israel and thus American Jews,
one must look a little deeper for motive. As Israel is being
set up to be manipulated with a full-court press in the next
month or two, the propaganda machine in the bowels of the State
Department starts calling in its IOUs ...
- The Motive: "The Lynch Israel Conference" aka "The
Middle East Summit" set for November 15th in Annapolis,
Maryland [perhaps now to be delayed due to the pressure cooker
on Israel being insufficiently heated]...
- Israel is set to be pilloried and forced to abandon more
than half of Jerusalem to Arafat's terrorists, now in the shaky
hands of Arafat's 40 year operations and bag-man, companion and
financier, Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen).
- During this "Lynching" Israel is also supposed
to commit to surrendering all of her ancestral Biblical heartland,
100% of Judea and Samaria. This Land, given by G-d to the Jewish
people in perpetuity, will shortly be converted into a launch
pad par excellence -- as has been happening in Gaza since 16,000
Jewish men, women and children were evicted from their homes,
farms, schools, synagogues and cemeteries two years ago. Except
now the targets will be the rest of Israel's population, 80%
of which resides in the crowded coastal areas - plus the Ben
Gurion International Airport. Continue Reading>>

- JERUSALEM CONNECTION IS CALLING CHRISTIANS AND JEWS TO PROTEST
- The JerUSAlem Connection is calling Christians and Jews for
a groundswell of protest against the planned slicing up of the
Jewish State. A US-sponsored Middle East Peace Summit
between Prime Minister Olmert and Palestinian Authority head
Mahmoud Abbas is set for the end of November in Annapolis, Maryland.
President Bush and Secretary Rice are hosting the summit as a
last desperate attempt to resuscitate their Roadmap to
Peace. Olmert believes he can salvage his pathetic tenure
as Prime Minister by giving away Judea and Samaria and half Jerusalem.
Abbas believed to be a moderate leader of a peace-loving
Fatah will try and extract all the concessions he can from the
pandering US and Israeli administrations.
- So what can we expect? Expect a Diplomatic Lynching of Israel
in the willfully ignorant pursuit of a Fatah-led Palestinian
state. Whats at stake? If Olmert succeeds in surrendering
that which is not his to give, Israel will lose to its sworn
enemy: Judea and Samaria, the Jordan Valley, all East Jerusalem,
sovereignty of the Temple Mount, and a chunk of Israels
fresh water resources. If Olmert does not buckle and the Palestinians
do not achieve all their demands, Fatah is threatening a renewed
terror war. Azzam al-Ahmed, head of the Fatah parliamentary list
threatened, the repercussions will be more dangerous than
what happened after the failure of Camp David.
- Among those invited are the representatives of the Quartet,
the permanent members of the UN Security Council, and 12 Arab
countries who have yet to commit (all want assurances of Israels
concessions beforehand). Syria will attend if the Golan Heights
are including in the land giveaways. Olmert and Abbas are meeting
regularly now to try and work out a joint position paper, about
which there have been few official statements, only leaks that
indicate Abbas is standing firm and Olmert is giving away the
farm. So-called final status issues (Jerusalems
sovereignty, permanent borders, Jewish communities in Judea and
Samaria, and return of Palestinian Refugees) would ostensibly
be worked out over the six months following the Summit.
- In an interview with an Arabic Satellite News station on
5 October, Bush said he was optimistic that peace could be achieved.
He pledged to support Palestinian security forces and help Abbas
financially. Bush added that US strategy is to get all parties
to the table for general peace, with the first step being a commitment
from Israelis and Palestinians to the concept of peace before
embarking on a two-state solution. The Israeli people are victims
of this scheming. A joke in Israel says if you consider the margin
of error in Olmerts approval polls his ratings go in the
negative. Is this really the man to represent the will of the
majority on such high stakes issues?
- The location of the summit at the Navel Academy in Annapolis
is intentional. They want a secure setting where protestors can
be kept at bay, out of sight and out of sound. Thats why
The Jerusalem Connection is mobilizing a Virtual Protest to let
the White House, State Department, Congress, and Senate know
where American Public Opinion is at on this. The American government
cannot be complicit in the dismemberment of Israel. Jerusalem,
Judea, and Samaria are part of Israels birthright. They
are not Olmerts to give away! The Jerusalem Connection,

- ISRAELI PRESIDENT SAYS TENSIONS WITH SYRIA NOW 'OVER'
By VOA News - 18 September 2007 - Shimon Peres talks to reporters,
Israeli President Shimon Peres says tensions between Israel and
Syria are now "over," and Israel is ready to negotiate
for peace with Syria. Mr. Peres made the comment to foreign reporters
Tuesday in Israel. Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
also said Israel was ready to negotiate with Syria. The developments
come less than two weeks after Syria accused Israel of launching
an air strike inside Syria. Israel has refused to comment on
the matter.
- Media reports have suggested the air strike either targeted
Iranian arms destined for Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas, or a
nuclear facility in Syria built with North Korean technology.
Last week, Syria protested to the United Nations about the incident
and accused Israel of aggression. Peace talks between Syria and
Israel collapsed in 2000. Some information for this report was
provided by AFP and AP.

- SYRIA CALLS ISRAEL'S PROPOSAL FOR TALKS INSINCERE
By VOA News - 19 September 2007 - Syria has rejected Israel's
call to hold unconditional peace talks with Damascus. The official
Tishrin newspaper said in an editorial Wednesday that Israel's
reported air strike in Syria earlier this month shows that Israel
is not interested in peace. The editorial also cites Israel's
fighting in Lebanon last year. Syria has accused Israel of violating
its air space and dropping munitions on its territory on September
6. The Israeli government has refused to comment on the alleged
incident.
- On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel
is ready to negotiate with Syria without preconditions.
- The Syrian newspaper is calling on Israeli officials to show
sincerity by resuming negotiations at the point where they broke
down in 2000. Israel-Syria peace talks collapsed over the Golan
Heights. Israel seized the territory from Syria during the 1967
war. Some information for this report was provided by AFP and
AP. http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-09-19-voa28.cfm

- MUSLIMS DESECRATING TEMPLE MOUNT WITH OLMERT'S BLESSING
- By Stan Goodenough - August 29, 2007 - Muslims riot all over
the Palestinian-occupied areas and throughout the Middle East
when Israel announces plans to build a new entrance ramp up to
the Temple Mount complex. But Muslim Arabs can dig a meter-or-more-deep
trench right across the top of the Mount, using back hoes and
other earth moving equipment, endangering - and possibly destroying
- millennia-old archeological remains dating from Israel's First
and Second Temple periods; and no one cares to stop them.
- No-one except, perhaps, a single Druze Israeli policeman
who tried unsuccessfully to block their digging with his body
Wednesday. Israeli police officers who arrived to the scene failed
to arrest the Arabs that were beating up the policeman, and let
them continue the digging without interruption according to a
report on Israel National News. Israel's Druze are fiercely loyal
to their adopted homeland. They are, to many concerned witnesses,
a great deal more so than the government of Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert, which has permitted the desecration of the Mount to go
on for weeks without intervening.

- IRAN MILLIONS HOLD NATIONWIDE RALLIES TO MARK 'JERUSALEM
DAY'
- By ASSOCIATED PRESS - October 5, 2007 - Millions of Iranians
attended nationwide rallies Friday in support of the Palestinians,
while the country's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said
Israel's continued existence was an "insult to human dignity."
"The creation, continued existence and unlimited (Western)
support for this regime is an insult to human dignity,"
Ahmadinejad said. "The occupation of Palestine is not limited
to one land. The Zionist issue is now a global issue."
Ahmadinejad's remarks came as millions of Iranians held rallies
across Iran to protest Israel's continued control of Jerusalem.
The demonstrations for "Al-Quds Day" - Al-Quds is the
Arabic name for Jerusalem - also spilled over into anti-American
protests because of US support for Israel. In the capital Teheran,
hundreds of thousands of people poured into the streets as they
chanted "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
Some protesters also burned American and Israeli flags. State
television reported similar large rallies in all other provincial
capitals and smaller towns across Iran.
- The Iranian president once again said Palestinians should
not pay any price because Europeans committed crimes against
Jews in World War II. He said they could give a part of their
own land in Europe or Alaska so that the Jews can establish their
country. "I ask European governments supporting Zionists
and the American people that will you allow occupation of part
of your land under a pretext and then talk about a two-state
solution?," Ahmadinejad said after the rallies. Ahmadinejad
said a "free referendum" was the solution to the Palestinian
issue, saying Jews, Muslims and Christians as well as five million
Palestinian refugees should take part in a vote to determine
their own fate. "Together with other nations we will continue
the resistance until the Palestinian lands are liberated from
Israel," said Ahmadinejad in a speech he delivered do Iranian
state radio. .. Submitted by: James McCutchan, Retired Baptist

- DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM WAS OCTOBER 7, 2007
- We are just days away from a powerful moment, when Christians
in every nation across the planet will join in faith and unity
to pray together for the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.
This massive prayer initiative, one of the largest in Church
history, has now been reported and referenced by major news outlets
around the world. The Jerusalem Celebration of the Day of Prayer
for the Peace of Jerusalem will be carried live into 192 nations
on God TV.
- Literally, in every corner of the planet, churches are preparing
to stand in agreement with Psalm 122, and with one another in
hope, and pray for God's presence and peace to flood the streets
of Jerusalem, and minister peace to all of her inhabitants, Jew
and Arab alike. The First Sunday of October, October 7th, has
been designated as the Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of
Jerusalem by well over 1000 global Christian leaders. Please
agree to make a difference today by doing two simple things....
- 1. Make sure your local church is participating on October
7th. The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem is NOT a single
location event but rather a worldwide celebration day when LOCAL
CHURCHES remember to pray for Jerusalem in their Sunday services.
Although there will be a Jerusalem Celebration of this day carried
live on GOD TV around the world, the real thrust of the initiative
is on the local church level. Please BE SURE that your church
is participating! There are resources such as posters and prayer
cards for you local church available at http://www.daytopray.com
- 2. Please forward this email to as many believing Christians
as you can. If you will simply take a moment right now and forward
this on to your close friends and prayer partners, we can literally
sound a global trumpet to bring clear focus and awareness to
this urgent prayer effort.
- We thank you for putting action to your prayers and taking

- LAND FOR PEACE?
- Land for Peace Won't Work - The Lekarev Report - Minister
of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman and his Yisrael Beiteinu
party have released a "party platform" in between national
elections - in what some see as not only a promotional endeavor,
but also a well-timed political effort to thwart Prime Minister
Olmert's plans for more withdrawals. Named the party's "vision,"
the paper begins by terming itself a "sincere and genuine
effort to present Yisrael Beiteinu's outlook, without using worn
out phrases or vague terminology that leave room for misunderstandings."
- The paper deals with issues such as the clash between Islam
and the West, personal and national security for Israelis, the
expulsion and unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, Israeli economics,
education, the Jewish character of the State, and more. Released
as Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is negotiating with Fatah chief
Mahmoud Abbas the terms of an Israeli withdrawal from nearly
all of Judea and Samaria, the paper challenges the 'land for
peace' doctrine, declaring emphatically that it will not work,
just as it has not worked in the past.

- ISRAEL IS THE FULFILLMENT OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY
- CNN's Christiane Amanpour said: "A recent poll found
that 59 percent of American
evangelicals
believe Israel is the fulfillment of biblical prophey. The Israeli
Ministry of Foreign Affairs estimates 85 million evangelicals
believe God tells them to support Israel -- more than six times
the world's Jewish population. Christian Zionists often converge
on Washington by the thousands to lobby members of Congress in
support of Israel. Sen. Joseph Lieberman said, 'There are a lot
more Christian Zionists in America than Jewish Zionists ...The
support of Christian Zionists today is critical to Israel's security
and strength and to America's security and strength.'" (CNN.com
Aug. 20, 2007).
- God says: "Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard
service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that
she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins."
(Isaiah 40:1-2) "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In
those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm
hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with
you, because we have heard that God is with you." (Zechariah
8:23).
- The Jerusalem Connection says: As voices in the Bush and
Olmert administrations continue to clamor for a "Land for
Peace" solution in Israel, which means the inevitable giving
up of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) as well as the division
of Jerusalem, the voice of opposition by Christian Zionists must
become even louder and more active. For Palestinian Jihadists
to be in control of East Jerusalem, which includes the Mount
of Olives, from which Jesus ascended and to which He will return,
is intolerable.

- JEWS BEG CHRISTIANS TO HELP SAVE THE TEMPLE MOUNT
Israel Today - The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has issued a
statement strongly urging Bible-believing Christians to petition
their governments and the government of Israel to put an end
to Muslim destruction of important Jewish artifacts atop the
Temple Mount. Sign
the Petition!
- The Islamic authorities in charge at the Temple Mount have
been carrying out unauthorized excavations and renovations they
say are necessary to replace aging electrical cables. Footage
taken on a cellphone camera and broadcast on Israel's Channel
2 News last week showed a trench that had been dug into the floor
of the complex as part of the work. Deep within the trench an
ancient decorated wall was visible, a wall experts say was part
of the outer courts of the ancient Jewish temple.
- If the wall is part of the ancient temple courtyards, it
would be the most significant Israelite Temple find in history.
But experts may never have a chance to verify the find if the
Muslims are allowed to continue destroying it and every other
piece of Jewish history at the site. In a desperate effort to
halt Islamic plans to erase Jewish history, the Temple Institute
called on Christians everywhere to "rise up and stand with
their brethren in Israel and make their voices heard to stop
this travesty."
- "We are asking Christians to do everything possible
to petition the Israeli government [and the United States Congress]
to halt the Waqf destruction and have archaeologists immediately
inspect the area," the letter continued. "All of the
antiquities of the Temple that have been uncovered are in danger
of being destroyed if you don't help." Source: Newsletter:

- MORE "BIRD'S" FLY HOME - ISAIAH 60:8
- August 15, 2007 - Masses of determined enemies may be surrounding
the little nation of Israel, hundreds of millions of people may
be committed to her destruction and billions may detest the homeland
of the Jewish people and fervently wish it had never been reborn.
But at least 2000 Jews laughed the danger and hatred to scorn
this summer and chose to make aliyah - immigrate - to their ancient
and reconstituted Promised Land.
A few hundred of them came on three planes that landed at Ben
Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv in a period of less
than 24 hours from 7 am Tuesday. They came from the United States,
the United Kingdom and Canada, carrying babies, children, mothers
and fathers, grandparents, secular, religious and "ultra-orthodox"
Jews - all with a common, driving purpose - to make Israel their
home. A crowd of about a thousand people hosted by the Nefesh
b' Nefesh organization responsible for arranging the flights,
and including family members of the new arrivals, turned out
to welcome them with songs, banners, balloons, laughter, tears,
and shouts of joy. Interior Minister Meir Shitreet welcomed them
home.

has prompted threats of legal action by the stations representatives.
The decision by the Hot Cable TV to halt the broadcasts of the
Daystar TV network is pending the authorization of the Israeli
Council for Cable TV and Satellite Broadcasting.
- A spokeswoman for the HOT cable company said in a statement
that the decision to stop broadcasting the station was made out
of editorial and content considerations, and following
complaints the company received for broadcasting the network.
A lawyer for the Christian station said that the decision to
take the network off the air was a violation of freedom of expression.
You cannot close down this station just because it is a
Christian station, said attorney Amir Witkon. Witkon said
that he would take legal action against HOT in an Israeli court
if the decision is finalized. The Israeli Council for Cable TV
and Satellite Broadcasting, which can accept or reject the cable
companys request, will take up the issue at its next meeting,
a spokeswoman said. The council is tentatively set to meet next
month, officials said. Continued:

- LETTING TERROR OFF THE HOOK
- Submitted by Steven Shamrak - ISRAEL: Israel has granted,
for the first time, an amnesty to 178 wanted Fatah-affiliated
terrorists in the West Bank. Additionally, 256 Arab terrorists
have been released from jail.
- It has also given extraordinary permission for several exiled
officials of the PLO to attend a meeting of the group's central
council this week in Ramallah, in the Israeli-controlled West
Bank.
- One of the PLO exiles whose entry has been approved is Nayef
Hawatmeh, the leader of the Democratic Front for the Liberation
of Palestine, notorious for an attack carried out by his organisation
on the northern town of Ma'alot in 1974, in which 22 Israeli
schoolchildren were killed. The scores of Fatah militiamen who
will no longer be pursued by Israel have agreed to cease all
activities against Israel and to lay down their arms, according
to Israeli officials. "They were active terrorists who have
chosen to deactivate themselves," said Miri Eisin, a spokeswoman
for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Saudi King Abdullah praised US
President George W. Bush initiative for a summit designed to
revive the "peace process" in the Middle East. Arab
League Secretary General Amru Moussa also voiced satisfaction
with "positive sections" in Bush's speech. The PA Chairman's
spokesman, Nabil Abu Rdeina, said Bush's speech was an important
step and the summit is needed to create a mechanism for implementing
the Road Map to Peace and the Arab Peace Initiative.

- JORDANIAN, EGYPTIAN FMs: THIS A TIME OF OPPORTUNITY
- Ronny Sofer Published: 07.25.07 - Israel News - "The
winds blowing in the region now are winds of peace," President
Shimon Peres said Wednesday during his meeting with Jordan and
Egypt's foreign ministers at his Jerusalem residence. The Egyptian
minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit congratulated Peres on his election.
"We were invited as representatives of the Arab League in
order to advance the Arab peace initiative. This is a time of
opportunity," he said. His Jordanian counterpart, Abdel
Ilah Khatib, added, "This is an important effort, an initiative
approved by the Arab nations and the Arab League. We hope we
can create a momentum to advance the process between Israel and
the Palestinians." Aboul Gheit asked Peres how he was accommodating
to his new role, and the president replied, "I feel like
a bird in a golden cage."
- Addressing the situation in the Palestinian Authority, Peres
said, "I have a lot of appreciation for Abu Mazen (Palestinian
President Mahmoud Abbas) and (Palestinian Prime Minister) Salam
Fayyad. They are our partners for peace.

- JORDAN IS PALESTINE
By MK Arieh Eldad - Slowly, almost stealthily, the voices are
beginning to break through. For years people have been trying
to brainwash us with the slogan "two states for two peoples."
Anyone who dared to deny this falsehood was mocked. Anyone who
continued to argue that a Palestinian state west of the Jordan
River would be a strategic threat to Israel was branded a stubborn
mule, someone who denied what the whole world believes. An infinite
number of conferences held and attended by collaborators with
murder organizations metamorphosed into discussions in the corridors
of power, and when even the leaders of Israel, whether by naivete
or stupidity, were duped by these hallucinations, then even the
president of the United States began seeing false and evil visions,
which in turn received the blessing of the corrupt Israeli leaders,
and suddenly - from what was called a dangerous strategic threat
to Israel at a time when Rabin said "a Palestinian state
will rise only on the ruins of Israel," the danger became
a desire, and from a disaster it turned into an Israeli interest.
Only the Arabs saved us from this death wish and stupidity. Read

Jim Hutchens: US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said: "I
believe that Israel understands...that it has obligations that
need to be met and need to be met now, because the future of
Israel is not in the continued occupation of the West Bank. ...The
future of Israel is in building a strong Israeli state in places
like the Negev and Galilee." The Jerusalem Connection says:
The heartland of Israel, Judea and Samaria, are euphemistically
called "the West Bank." It is sad, knowing of Ms. Rice's
Christian upbringing, to see how she has so egregiously lost
touch with the "heart and soul" of the LORD regarding
the land that God promised to Israel.

- CHRISTIAN EVANGELISM - THREAT TO JEWISH SURVIVAL?
July 20, 2007 ? Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, in
Rome for meetings with Vatican officials, issued the following
statement: "We are extremely disappointed and deeply offended
that nearly 40 years after the Vatican rightly removed insulting
anti-Jewish language from the Good Friday liturgy, that it would
now permit Catholics to utter such hurtful and insulting words
by praying for Jews to be converted. This is a theological setback
in the religious life of Catholics and a body blow to Catholic-Jewish
relations. It is the wrong decision at the wrong time."
"It appears the Vatican has chosen to satisfy a right-wing
faction in the Church that rejects change and reconciliation."
ADL noted that in 1959, Pope John XXIII removed the term "perfidious
Jews" from the controversial Good Friday Latin Mass. In
the 1970 Missal of Paul VI, which is currently used, the prayer
for the conversion of Jews was replaced by a positive prayer
recognizing the Jews' eternal covenant with God, a principle
to which Pope John Paul II was deeply committed. Full story:

- CHRISTIANS AGAINST ISRAEL
US 'evangelicals:' Divide the Land of Israel - By Stan Goodenough
- July 30, 2007 - The issue of where to take a stand concerning
the Land and People of Israel continues to split Christians who
choose to reinterpret the scriptures through liberal and socialist
lenses from those who insist that the Bible is the unchanging
Word of God. In a letter published in the Sunday edition of the
New York Times, 34 self-described "evangelical leaders"
wrote to US President George W. Bush, urging him to forge ahead
with his plan to implement a "two state solution" to
the "Palestinian"-Israeli conflict. The document appears
to have been drawn up in reaction to the statements of high-profile
evangelicals like John Hagee who have recently asserted anew
that tens of millions of American evangelicals identify themselves
as Christian Zionists and oppose the globally-supported effort
to establish an Arab state on the biblical heartland and national
cradle of the Jewish people.
- Twisting both the meaning of scripture and historic fact
to support their position, the signatories to the letter - who
claimed to speak on behalf of "large numbers of evangelicals
throughout the US" - sought to "encourage" Bush
with the assertion that not "all American evangelicals are
opposed to a two-state solution and creation of a new Palestinian
state that includes the vast majority of the West Bank [sic]."
- They had written "to thank [Bush] for [his] efforts
(including the major address on July 16) to reinvigorate the
Israeli-Palestinian negotiations to achieve a lasting peace in
the region. "We affirm your clear call for a two-state solution.
We urge that your administration not grow weary in the time it
has left in office to utilize the vast influence of America to
demonstrate creative, consistent and determined US leadership
to create a new future for Israelis and Palestinians [sic]."

- RICE TO LAY GROUND FOR MIDEAST TALKS IN ISRAEL
In visit, secretary of state hopes to build on warming Arab-Israel
relations - JERUSALEM - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will
begin laying the ground for a Middle East Peace conference in
a visit to Israel on Wednesday, hoping to push Israelis and Palestinians
closer to renewing talks. Building on warming ties between Israel
and moderate Arab countries Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's
office said that Israel hopes many Arab countries will
attend this international meeting, including Saudi Arabia.
The statement came in reaction to an announcement Wednesday by
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal that his country
would seriously consider attending the gathering if invited.
Speaking at a press conference with Rice and U.S. Secretary of
Defense Robert Gates, Saud said his government would look
very closely and very hard at attending if the conference
dealt with issues of real substance, not form. A
meeting between Israeli and Saudi representatives would be a
major diplomatic breakthrough. Though Israel and Saudi Arabia
are both U.S. allies, representatives of the countries have never
officially met and Saudi Arabia has never recognized the Jewish
state.
- Rices visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories,
part of a wider tour of U.S. regional allies, is her first since
the Islamic group Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in mid-June.
Since then, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has run the West
Bank with a moderate government led by his Fatah movement, and
has won broad international backing while Hamas remains largely
isolated.
- Olmerts office said that the regional meeting also
would be able to grant an umbrella to the bilateral talks
between Israel and the Palestinians.
- First meetings since Hamas seized control of Gaza - Rices
meetings with Israeli leaders in Jerusalem on Wednesday and with
leaders of Abbas U.S.-backed Palestinian government in
the West Bank on Thursday will be her first with the sides since
the regional political constellation was altered by Hamas
violent seizure of control of Gaza Strip from Abbas forces.
That takeover has spurred a flurry of peacemaking efforts in
the past month aimed at shoring up Palestinian moderates, including
a first visit to the region by international Mideast peace envoy
Tony Blair and an unprecedented visit to Israel by a delegation
from the 22-nation Arab League. That delegation urged Israel
to accept an Arab plan offering peace in return for a withdrawal
from all land captured in the 1967 Middle East War. Further helping
the mood of conciliation are the fears in moderate Arab states
about the influence of Hamas hardline backers in Iran and
about al-Qaidas brand of extremist Islam. Israel has carried
out several gestures meant to bolster Abbas, including renewing
the transfer of millions of dollars in taxes collected from Palestinians
and releasing several hundred Palestinian prisoners from Israeli
jails. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20065994/

- EVANGELICAL SPLIT OVER ISRAEL BATTERS BUSH
By Larry Cohler-Esses - The Jewish Week - Evangelical Christians,
long seen as a monolith in lockstep support of Israel, publicly
fractured last week as two significant evangelical factions lobbied
President Bush with criticism of Israel from opposite points
of view. For the first time, Christians United for Israel, a
major Christian Zionist group with strong ties to the American
Israel Public Affairs Committee, lobbied President Bush against
the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
a solution advocated by Israel, the Bush administration and the
pro-Israel Washington lobby itself. Meanwhile, some 30 Evangelical
leaders, including prominent activists and intellectuals, publicly
lauded Bushs stand in favor of two states: Israel and a
seperate state in the West Bank and Gaza for Palestinians. They
also urged Bush to get involved more actively to make this happen.
But this group pointedly noted that both Israelis and Palestinians
have committed violence and injustice against each other.
The two groups dueling letters to the president, each critical
of Israeli policies from respective viewpoints, marked a new,
more complex phase in evangelical Christianitys political
stand towards Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, observers
and partisans from all sides agreed. Continued: http://support.tjci.org/site/PageServer?pagename=

What is the world's leading nation for Nazi outrages? Of course
it's Israel, where else? In the past month, more Nazis have done
their deeds in the "Jewish" homeland than anywhere
else, Germany included. And what was the government's response?
It cut funds to the sole organization working to nip the Nazis
in their buds. Now you may ask, WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT OF ISRAEL
PROMOTING NAZIISM?
- Because they got the Nazis there in the first place. In the
early 1990s, one Avraham Burg was head of the Jewish Agency,
responsible for immigration to Israel. Today he lives in France
and just wrote a book
encouraging Israelis to get foreign passports and stop being
Jewish. When he ran immigration, he changed the rules and permitted
some 400,000 gentiles from the former Soviet Union to flood Israel.
As anyone who cared at the time knew, many were actual Jew haters
determined to murder Israelis. And in Israel's final days, he
brought Naziism to the Jews.

- Barry writes in his last news: "Do not be surprised
then that when a strike on Iran begins, a massive parallel evacuation
of Jews from Judea and Samaria will also take place probably,
and mostly, by force. The whole event will be drowned
by the sensational news of the Iranian strike. If the US carries
the strike, the payoff will be demanded of Israel almost instantly.
If the US and Israel carry the attack, the IDF will move in to
evacuate the Jews simultaneously. This is how bad news
are buried by politicians amidst other sensational news that
capture headlines. As we recall, the Entebbe raid did no harm
to Rabin in the 70s; the Iraqi Ossirak strike in 1982 did no
harm to Begins re-election campaign. The Iranian strike
will almost certainly ring the bells for the end of Israel s
presence in its biblical West Bank homeland. This is the price
the US and the CFR will extract from Israel for her misguided,
misleading, four decades-old non-existent nuclear deterrence
policy.
- The cracks in the invincible Israel have already
started to show in the last Lebanon war. Those who were there,
already knew this from the Yom Kippur war. Our CFR friends will
ensure that no conventional war, nor a nuclear one will be necessary
to bring about the destruction of Israel
- All signs are that the glorious triumph over evil'
Iran must be accomplished by a lame duck president Bush before
he leaves office and by Olmert before Vinograds final report.
And with the countrys biggest ever enemy in the form of
the fifth column president Shimon Peres, Israel s
fate is sealed. How ironical that it was the same Peres who five
decades earlier had set the foundation for Israel/s nuclear power,
only to be corrupted and entrapped in a life-long net of French
handlers and Vatican manipulators. Wined, dined and bribed to
the brim for over forty years, supplied with an endless stream
of glamorous whores Paris had to offer, the young and old Peres
fell pray to the French charms and Channel perfumes. And when
Rabin made a last-ditch attempt to try and halt the snowball,
Peres had him eliminated. Israels friends and
its own leaders are now toying with the Armageddon fuse.
- Do not be surprised. The nuclear genie is out of the bag
and it may well cost Israel its very existence due to its leaders'
stupidity."

- THE HOMELESS MINISTRY OF BRIAN AND RACHELI
- July 25, 2007 - Blessings to you, your family and your Congregation
from Eretz Israel, in the name of Yeshua. - My name is Brian
Slater and my Sabra (native born) Israeli wife, Racheli, our
two kids Raz and Amichai and baby on the way (due in Jan.2008,
by the grace of God). We are all believers in Yeshua/Jesus, living
here in Israel. I wanted to start off, by just sharing a short
introduction as to who we are and what we do. I immigrated to
Israel back in 1996 from Los Angeles. Racheli and I married after
I was in Israel one year later and both of our kids where born
here. We are a traditional Messianic Jewish family that loves
Yeshua, loves to celebrate Shabbat as well as all the Biblical
Feasts and traditional prayers of Israel.
Recently, about 5 months ago, we joined hands/were accepted on
staff with Beth Sar Shalom, the Israeli name for Chosen People
Ministries. Our vision, that we focus on in our ministry is to
reach the homeless. This consists of drug addicts, alcoholics,
prostitutes as well as helping those with unwanted pregnancies.
I currently, do a weekly Bible study as well as counseling at
a men's rehab. center in Jaffa. I also volunteer at a soup kitchen,
that feeds the homeless, full meals (up to 150) we are able to
play Messianic music, share testimonies, give out literature,
as well as, do personal evangelism to share the hope and salvation
of Yeshua.
- ...A brother in the Lord, (named
David), partners with me in Tel Aviv. We have an outreach center
that reaches out to the homeless. Most of these women have sold
there lives into prostitution, to support their drug habits,
we do reach the men as well, however a majority are women. We
also give them food and drink, invite them to the center to pick
new clothes, take showers and rest if they need and build trust
with these victimized people enough to share with them that there
is hope beyond the streets and a big God that loves them. We
sometimes are able to bring some of these people off the streets
and into Messianic/Biblical Rehabilitation, which for women,
there is next to none of these such places. This is our hearts
desire and focus, to raise up a women's shelter with a biblical
base. All that said, my family and I are not supported by any
big organizations or specific person.
- ...We need to raise all our
own support! We know, the Lord has called us to do these works
and we know that He will provide all our needs. We come to you
because, first of all we were recommended to you by a dear friend
that knows that you love to pray and secondly, to ask about the
possibility of you and/or your home group, bible study, business
or congregation to consider supporting us in prayer and finance.
- Our hearts desire is to be able to focus on this work, without
having to work 2-3 other jobs to provide for basic family needs
and to be able to fully focus 100% of our time on this humanitarian
effort and calling that God has on our lives. We would hope,
that you and your congregation love, pray and even support Israel
(as the Bible says to do so (Psalm 122:6) and our main goal is
for you to catch this vision that the Lord has so graciously
put into our hands, to be a Light in the darkness with the Good
News and Hope of Yeshua our Messiah to change lives. We would
be honored for YOU to pray and present this situation to your
different groups and leadership. It all starts with YOU. Individuals
make a majority that support us, however there is power and strength
in numbers. Where two or more are gathered, He dwells in the
midst of them.
- We look forward to hearing from you and to be connected in
any way the Lord would open to you, our Yeshua loving brothers
and sisters throughout the world.
- All blessings, honor and praise unto Him who sits on the
throne and unto the Lamb-Yeshua!

- PEACE PROCESS
Peres - The whole world now supports Abbas - By Stan Goodenough
- August 26, 2007
- Israeli President Shimon Peres is excited by the fact that
the entire international community now supports PLO/Fatah/PA
chief Mahmoud Abbas. Because of the high regard in which this
tie-wearing veteran terrorist and Holocaust denier is now held,
Peres told the Japanese business newspaper Nikkei Saturday there
is at last a good chance the State of Palestine will become an
established reality in the historical heartland of the Jewish
people. Peres, who was recently elected to what is supposed to
be a non-partisan figurehead position limited to smiling for
the camera as Israel's official representative and pardoning
criminals, has made no secret of his determination to use his
new platform to push forward the agenda of Israel's liberal left.
- The creation of a Palestinian state would fulfill the vision
the president has held for at least half of his political life.
Speaking to Nikkei, Peres said he hopes to have a clear and compelling
plan drawn up to ensure good progress towards the birth of Palestine
before the international Middle East "peace" conference
that the United States will be sponsoring in November. According
to the [Ynetnews]() report on the interview, Peres said
he would seek to make peace with the Palestinian Arabs by offering
economic aid in tandem with political negotiations - to buy off
the Arab side, as it were. While it would "take more time"
to work out the details of the political if not the geographical
outline of a future Palestinian state, Israel "can achieve
an agreement" in principle before the peace conference,
he said.

- TERRORISM
From Gaza - terrorist infiltrations begin - By Stan Goodenough
August 26, 2007 - More than 5000 Kassam rockets have been fired
at Israeli targets from the Gaza Strip which Israel abandoned
to the PLO two years ago, the Sharon government brutally throwing
thousands of Jews out of their homes. At the weekend, however,
the terror assault from the Strip took an ominous turn when two
heavily-armed Arabs dressed as Israeli soldiers used sophisticated
climbing equipment to get over the security fence and attack
the Erez Crossing into northern Gaza. Both men, who were reportedly
out to kill soldiers and civilians in Israeli residential areas,
were neutralized in a close range gun battle with Golani Brigade
troops. One soldier was lightly wounded in the fight. Ynetnews
quoted army spokesman Major Tal Lev-Ram as saying there was "an
intention to carry out a large attack in Israeli territory,"
and that the terrorists were armed "head to toe" with
grenades and automatic weapons. Saturday's infiltration was one
of the few times terrorists have managed to slip by the heavily
fortified fence around Gaza.
- It won't be the last.
- According to a report in The Jerusalem Post Sunday, senior
Israeli army officers warned after the infiltration that the
"Palestinians" have learned the IDF's defense systems
and will try again.
- "It's obvious to us that this is the reality, and the
trend is apparently that it's going to continue."

- CONDI CONFESSED, BUT WOULD NOT REPENT
- By Stan Goodenough - September 03, 2007 - "The Road
Map is at best a marginal plan. It doesn't work," Condoleezza
Rice said in 2003 when she was National Security Advisor during
George W. Bush's first term in office. This is according to a
new biography on the first black American woman to ever hold
the second-most-powerful portfolio in the US. Washington Post
reporter Glenn Kessler, the author of "The Confidante: Condoleezza
Rice and the Creation of the Bush Legacy," said these were
the exact words Rice used to slam the land-for-peace plan in
a conversation with an Israeli counterpart. While it is not clear
precisely what made her dismiss the plan so firmly, she appeared
to be quite sure that it would fail.
- And yet, nearly four years after receiving this revelation,
and as her term as Secretary of State heads into its last lap,
Rice is pushing harder than ever to try and make the "marginal"
plan a permanent political reality.
- It is as if some force is driving her to bring into being
a situation she, or her successor, will never be able to remedy
or rescind. The Road Map, now popularly known as the "Two
State Vision," will see ancient Jewish lands stolen from
their rightful owners and given to a "nation" that
has no historical right to them.
- While the God of the Bible promised all that land to Abraham
- wherever he put his feet - Bush has called on Israel's Jews
to restrict their footprints in Samaria and Judea and begin the
process that will render that territory juden-rein - free of
Jews. Rice is understood to be the major force propelling Bush
along this road. http://www.jnewswire.com/article/2154

GOVERNMENT READIES TO RIP UP MORE JEWS
- By Stan Goodenough - September 03, 2007 - Israel's Kadima-led
government may be reticent about smashing the Arab terrorism
emanating from Gaza, but it indicated Monday there would be no
such restraint when it comes to dealing with its own citizens'
passive resistance to its policies. The authorities are gearing
up to crush any opposition to the destruction of at least 26
politically-labeled "illegal" outposts in Samaria and
Judea. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has decreed the dismantling
of these small Jewish communities in acquiescence to the demands
of the international community that Israel's biblical heartland
be turned into a Jew-free Arab state called Palestine. According
to a report in The Jerusalem Post Monday, the IDF is finalizing
an operational plan to carry out Olmert's wish.
- Troops called up to defend the Jewish homeland against Arab
efforts to destroy it will be employed in this action which many
Zionist Israelis have labeled a pogrom. A number of conscientious
soldiers are expected to refuse orders to participate in the
uprooting, even at the risk of being imprisoned In an apparent
attempt to besmirch those who the security forces will be acting
against, a high-ranking pro-eviction IDF officer who was not
named told the Post as a matter of fact that "there will
be extreme violence" from the Zionists.
- However, "once the evacuation date is determined by
the political echelon, we could begin the evacuations in a matter
of weeks," he reassured.
- Reports cited defense officials as saying that "one
of the reasons behind the sudden activity on the outpost issue
[is the] relentless American pressure on the government to begin
taking steps to remove the communities. The US has been pressuring
Olmert on this score since he was elected last year, officials
said. As chief sponsor of the land-for-peace process, the United
States leadership is at the forefront of the global effort to
steal Jewish lands for the creation of a Muslim Arab state.
- If spawned, Palestine will be the 23 state for a nation whose
homeland was once restricted to the Arabian peninsula, but which
now occupies the entire Middle East and most of northern Africa
- with nearly 700 times as much land as Israel has. http://www.jnewswire.com/article/2152

- ARI AND JEREMY DECLARE WAR OF PASTOR JOEL HUNTER OF NORTHLAND
CHURCH!
- "... What a perfect test of free will! Nowadays, it
is totally irrational to support Israel. There are 1.2 billion
Muslims in the world from 23 different countries who practically
monopolize the globes oil supply and relegate entire nations
to lives of fear, terror, and subjugation. In contrast, there
are merely 15 million Jews in the world possessing a single state
the size of Rhode Island which is devoid of nearly any natural
resources. Siding with the Muslim world, the European Union,
and every country in the UN other than Micronesia and The Marshall
Islands is definitely the pragmatic move, and presumably makes
Pastor Hunter feel safe and secure. These are times of refinement,
times for separating the authentic from the fraudulent; those
who fear G-d from those who fear man. Pastor Hunter would be
wise to heed the warning issued by his namesake, the prophet
Joel "... there will I deal with and execute judgment upon
them for their treatment of My people and of My heritage Israel,
whom they have scattered among the nations and because they have
divided My land." [3:2]. Full story:

Israel confirms Syria airstrike

- Oct 2, 2007 - Tel Aviv - Israel for the first time formally
confirmed Tuesday that it carried out an airstrike inside Syria
on September 6, 2007.
- 'Israel Air Force aircraft carried out an attack in Syria
about one month ago,' a spokesman for the Israeli military censor
told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa. - However, other details remain
under censorship, including the target, the types of aircraft
involved in the attack and whether any ground units carried out
supporting roles, and whether the strike was successful. The
Israeli government has kept mum on the raid since reports first
surfaced on the afternoon of September 6 when Syria said Israeli
aircraft had violated its airspace.
- Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and other government officials
refused to even confirm the raid had taken place and Opposition
Leader Benjamin Netanyahu caused a storm when he claimed in a
television interview that he had been consulted prior to the
airstrike.
- The target of the strike remain shrouded in mystery. Syrian
President Bashar Assad claimed in an interview with the BBC that
Israel had hit an 'unused military building'. Other reports said
the strike was aimed at a convoy carrying weapons to Lebanese
Hezbollah guerillas, who have been rearming since last summer's
war with Israel. The Washington Post said the target had been
a facility working on a joint Syrian-North Korean nuclear project,
while Britain's Sunday Times said Israel bombed a secret military
installation, after ground troops from a crack Israeli army unit
had first seized North Korean nuclear material from the site.
- Because of the military censorship in Israel, local correspondents
were forced to rely on foreign media reports of the raid. The
decision to lift military censorship comes a day after Assad
confirmed the strike in his BBC interview. Deutsche Presse-Agentur

Middle East conference set for November 26, paper (Roundup)
US Middle East conference set for November 26, 2007 paper (Roundup)
- October 5, 2007 Jerusalem - The international meeting on the
Middle East called by US President George W Bush was scheduled
to take place on November 26 in Annapolis, Maryland, the Israeli
Ha'aretz daily reported Friday, quoting Israeli officials. Washington,
however, has yet to make an official announcement as to the conference's
final date, location and participants and no immediate confirmation
was available. The conference was initially expected to take
place in mid- November, but the sides are said to have asked
for more time over friction regarding the meeting's aim.
- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert are working on a joint declaration toward the conference,
but while Abbas wants this to be a binding agreement that can
serve as the basis of a final peace deal, Olmert wants a more
limited, less detailed declaration of 'understandings.'
- Israeli officials said the joint statement might touch on
the core issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including
the borders of a future Palestinian state, the fate of the more
than 4.4 million registered Palestinian refugees and the status
of Jerusalem. But, they said, such a reference would be non-committal
and made only to those issues that enjoyed clear agreement.
- Abbas and Olmert Wednesday held their fifth preparatory meeting
since Bush announced the conference in mid-July, as mutual negotiating
teams are set to start working on the statement. The US State
Department meanwhile announced that Secretary of State Condoleezza
Rice would depart on October 14 for a week-long trip to the region,
in what seems a final bid to bring the parties closer ahead of
the summit.
- Palestinian Information Minister Riyad Malki, earlier said
the Palestinians wanted the November meeting to relaunch long-stalled
negotiations on a final peace deal which should last no longer
than six months and end with another conference.
- The negotiations should have a 'limited timeline,' he said,
and 'continue for six months, after which the Palestinians and
Israelis will meet again with the countries that participated
in the international meeting to adopt the peace treaty
and to witness the signature on it by the Palestinians, Israelis
and the rest of the countries,' he told a Ramallah news conference.
The Palestinian people would then vote on the treaty in a referendum,
he added. Aides to Olmert, by contrast, have said he currently
wants no final status negotiations that could spark a break-up
of his shaky coalition.
- And it is far from clear whether the Israeli premier will
be able to avoid early elections after the publication of a final
report by a commission of inquiry into the war due later this
year. Malki, meanwhile, said the US was to invite a broad
range of participants to the November meeting, including the
members of the Middle East 'Quartet,' - the US, the European
Union, the United Nations and Russia - the G8, the members
of an Arab League committee charged with following up on a 2002
peace offer - including Syria and Lebanon - as well as three
additional predominantly Muslim countries - Turkey, Indonesia
and Malysia. Even the author of the 2002 Arab League peace initiative,
Saudi Arabia, however, has yet to commit to attending. Abbas
also asked the US to invite India, South Africa, Brazil, Greece
and Spain, the Palestinian government spokesman said. Publisher:

- MID-EAST SUMMIT TO INCLUDE SYRIA
24 September 2007 - Ms Rice says
the US wants Syria and Saudi Arabia involved in talks
Arab states including Syria - a bitter opponent of Israel - will
be asked to a Middle East peace meeting in November, the US secretary
of state has said.
Condoleezza Rice described the Arab nations as "natural
invitees" but said they would have to renounce violence.
- She was speaking after the four backers of the peace process
- the US, EU, Russia and the UN - met in New York and gave support
to the proposed summit.
- The quartet issued a roadmap in 2003 for an Israeli-Palestinian
peace deal. But the roadmap has been sidelined and no apparent
progress has been made towards achieving the declared aim of
the process, a two-state solution.
- 'Peaceful solution'
- After Sunday's meeting, the quartet issued a statement expressing
support for the proposed conference - which has been heavily
promoted by the US.
- Quartet aims for momentum
- Ms Rice said it "would be natural" for Syria, Saudi
Arabia and 10 other Arab League members to participate, but warned
that attending the summit brought "certain responsibilities".
"We hope that those who come are really committed to helping
the Israelis and the Palestinians find a way through - and that
means renouncing violence, it means working for a peaceful solution."
Syria remains technically at war with Israel - Egypt and Jordan
are the only Arab states to have signed a peace treaty with Israel.
- BBC diplomatic correspondent Jonathan Marcus says the phrase
"international meeting" is notable, perhaps indicating
something short of a full-scale peace conference. With the Palestinians
divided and with Israel designating the Gaza Strip as hostile
territory, the climate is not encouraging, he says.
- High stakes
- The quartet also called for humanitarian assistance to Gaza
to continue without obstruction - a warning to Israel, which
has threatened to cut off vital energy supplies.
