FAYYAD WARNS NO TAX MONEY - NO MORE PA
By Elad Benari - First Publish: 11/25/2011, 12:14 AM - Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad: If Israel doesn't transfer our tax money, we will fail financially and cease to exist.
PA Prime Minister Fayyad - The Palestinian Authority may soon fail financially and cease to exist, its prime minister warned on Thursday. Salam Fayyad warned that if Israel does not resume the transfer of tax revenues it collects for the PA, the entity will collapse economically and thus cease to exist. Already now, Fayyad claimed, the PA cannot pay salaries to its employees. Channel 10 News reported that Fayyad made the comments following a meeting with Norway’s Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. According to the report, Fayyad said that the collapse of PA institutions “is advancing rapidly toward the point at which they will stop operating.” “We have no money,” Fayyad was quoted as having said. “It’s not about donations or international assistance we receive,” he added, blaming the Israeli decision to freeze the taxes it collects for the PA as being the reason for the impending collapse. A recent World Bank report, while admitting that the PA is undergoing a financial crisis, said the crisis was primarily due to the lack of donor countries fulfilling their pledges to fork over billions of dollars to Ramallah. IRAN BEGS ISRAEL TO ATTACK AND BE BURIED
By Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu - First Publish: 11/21/2011, 6:50 PM - A bluff or a threat? A top Iranian commander begs Israel to attack so Iran can throw the “enemy’ into the “trash can of history.” A top Iranian Guards commander has begged Israel to stage an attack so Iran will be justified in throwing the “enemy’ into the “trash can of history.”
Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Ali Hajizadeh told the Iranian Fars News Agency, "One of our big wishes is that they take this action because it is now a long time that we have piled up huge potential energy and we are eager to spend it and throw the enemies of Islam and Muslims into the trash can of the history." His comments are part of a continuing and escalating psychological war of words between Iran and Israel and several American officials. WHAT HAPPENS 'THE DAY AFTER' AN IRANIAN NUCLEAR ATTACK?
By David Lev - First Publish: 11/21/2011, 12:07 PM - Uri Milstein - An Iranian attack on Israel will not necessarily be "the end," says historian Dr. Uri Milstein. Israel, he says, can face "the day after." Will Israel really attack Iran and attempt to destroy its nuclear facilities? The conventional wisdom is that although Jerusalem would like to, it most likely won't – because of fear of what would happen next, and especially “the day after.” In the wake of such an attack, many Israeli officials believe, Iran could strike back with a barrage of weapons – nuclear or conventional.
Of just as great concern is the possibility – even likelihood – of tens of thousands of conventional missiles being fired at Israel by Hizbullah and Hamas terrorists, operating out of Lebanon and Hamas. Both terror groups, after all, are proxies for Iran, and both have substantial supplies of sophisticated missiles, some probably tipped with biological or chemical weapons.
An all-out attack on Israel, the conventional wisdom goes, would basically shut down the government and pretty much disable all defense efforts. At that point, all that would be left would be for Arab armies to march into Israel and “throw the Jews into the sea.” Considering the constant threats lobbed at Israel by Iran, in fact, such a scenario is possible - perhaps even eventually likely - even without Israel's attempting to destroy anything in Iran. And once Iran does get the bomb, many believe, it's just a matter of time before Israel has to face "the day after."

SAUDI FM: IRAN IS 'A THREAT TO THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST'
By David Lev - First Publish: 11/24/2011, 4:07 PM - Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister called Iran a threat to the entire Middle East, accusing Tehran of instigating Shi'ite violence. While most analysts here and abroad fret about the possibility of a war between Iran and Israel, it could be that Iran has its eyes on another prize – Saudi Arabia. A series of violent incidents in eastern Saudi Arabia over the past week that have left at least four dead has raised concern in Riyadh that Iran is seeking to start an “Arab Spring” type revolution in the heavily Shi'ite areas of the eastern part of the country. And in a rare statement, a senior Saudi official directly pointed to Iran as a threat to his own country, and the entire region.
Emir Sa'ud al-Feisal, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister, was quoted in the London-based A-sharq Al-Awsat newspaper Thursday as saying that “Iran's involvement in the internal affairs of the nations of the region, as well as its nuclear crisis and attempts to develop its nuclear program – that will allow it to have nuclear weapons – are a clear threat to the entire region,” especially after Iran conquered several strategic Persian Gulf islands – Little Tumb, Big Tumb, and Abu Musa – from the United Arab Emirates.
Two people were killed Wednesday night, and six were wounded, when a gunfight broke out between Saudi soldiers and an armed gang in the Qatif province, where the majority of residents are Shi'ite Muslims, as opposed to the majority of Saudis, who are Sunni and Wahabi Muslims. Sunnis and Sh'ites have for centuries sought to dominate Islamic life, and wars have occasionally broken out between the sects. The area is considered especially sensitive, because it holds a large oil reserve. Continued: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/150067

UN SECURITY COUNCIL PUSHING A PALESTINIAN STATE:
11/11/11 - Jewish Voice reports that the U.N. Security Council has decided to take up the resolution to create a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital when it meets in two weeks. The likely date of the vote is November 11th. Nine votes from the fifteen members are required for passage, and eight nations have already declared their intentions to vote for the measure. Heavy diplomatic pressure is being put on the remaining “undecided” members for their votes. The Obama Administration has said that it will veto the measure if it reaches the nine vote threshold, blocking it from taking effect. However, many security analysts fear that such a move would trigger a massive wave of violence from Palestinian terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel.
Iran has provided hundreds of millions of dollars-worth of missiles, rockets, guns and military training to their terrorist friends to use against Israel. The leadership of the Palestinian political structure is deeply divided. President Abbas’ term in office ended in 2009 and he holds the office only because he refuses to hold new elections. Yet the Western world continues to insist that Israel negotiate with this man—who will not speak to them or recognize Israel as a Jewish state. ANTISEMITISM AND THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT:
The dark scourge of anti-Semitism has reared up at many "Occupy" protests across the country, and the subject could well become a campaign 2012 issue as Republicans have been quick to point out to voters that many Democrats, including the president, are aligning themselves with the protests. The protesters generally are expressing a viewpoint that rich people need to pay much more in taxes and they, the protesters, need more from government; big banks need the heavy hand of Washington to help spread their wealth and make things "fair" and they have a "message" or want to "make a point" for the wealthy. But there's also a current of targeting Jews. Protesters have proclaimed that "Zionist Jews" still "need to be run out of the country," and they condemn "Nazi Bankers Wall Street." And Barack Obama's perspective? "I think that it [the movement] expresses the frustrations that the American people feel," he said. People are still under the influence of thinking Jews run the world- I say ,“Not Yet!”

GERMANY: ANTI-ISRAEL DEMONSTRATION DURING OLMERT LECTURE
By Elad Benari - First Publish: 11/25/2011, 5:15 AM - About 100 people demonstrate during a lecture by former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at a synagogue in Germany. About 100 people held an anti-Israel demonstration on Thursday during a lecture by former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at a synagogue in the city of Bochum in Germany, Israel’s Channel 2 News reported. According to the report, Olmert spoke to about 2,000 members of the local Jewish community on Israel and the current political situation. An Iranian activist living in Germany learned of the lecture and decided to organize a demonstration through Facebook. His plan was to burst into the synagogue and not allow Olmert to speak.
The German police, Channel 2 reported, saw the event on Facebook and sent reinforcements to the area, thus foiling the demonstrators’ plan to physically enter the synagogue and disrupt the lecture. “They sent large forces with barriers and managed to keep the demonstrators at a distance of two-three kilometers from the synagogue,” Olmert’s media adviser, Amir Dan, told Channel 2. The report also noted that during the demonstration, protesters called Israelis “terrorists” and “murderers of children in Gaza.” Inside, Olmert’s lecture continued as planned. German police are investigating who is behind the demonstration. Continued: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/150088

ISLAMIST WINDS IN EGYPT? "NO JEWS ALLOWED' AT HOLY SITE
By Maayana Miskin - First Publish: 10/9/2011, 7:26 PM - Arab Winter: Egypt has completely barred Jews from visiting the tomb of Rabbi Abuhatzeira, grandfather of the “Baba Sali.” The Arab Spring is turning into an Arab Winter for Israeli and Diaspora Jews. For the first time in recent history, Egypt has decided to completely bar Jews from visiting the tomb of Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira, head of the dynasty that included Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, the famed “Baba Sali.” The decision, issued by regional ruler Mukhtar el-Hamlawi, was reported by the Palestinian Authority news agency Wafa. El-Hamlawi reported that a Cairo court had ruled that celebrations are forbidden at the tomb, and Jewish visitors would be barred for that reason.
In addition, he said, “We prohibit Jews from visiting the tomb because we identify with the Palestinian people, and because we do not want to offend the Egyptian public’s sensitivities.” Egyptian opposition parties, led by the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, attempted to prevent Israeli Jews from visiting the rabbi’s tomb in 2009. While then-President Hosni Mubarak agreed to allow the visits, the pilgrimage was cancelled for the first time as opposition parties vowed to prevent Jews from visiting. Mubarak continued to allow Israelis to visit, and even announced in 2010 that he would grant an unlimited number of permits. Since Mubarak’s ouster in early 2011, Salafi Islam has been on the rise, while the Jew-hating Muslim Brotherhood has been gaining political power. The changes have led to security anarchy in Sinai, an extremely high terror alert for Israeli visitors, and persecution of religious minorities in Egypt, primarily Coptic Christians. RICE MEMOIR REVEALS OLMERT OFFERED ABBAS 94%; ABBAS SAID NO
By Elad Benari - First Publish: 10/26/2011, 5:39 AM - Former U.S. Secretary of State's new memoir sheds light on the groundbreaking offer made by former PM Olmert to PA Chairman Abbas. Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s new memoir sheds some light on the groundbreaking offer made by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in 2008. The memoir, entitled "No Higher Honor," will be published on November 1, and Newsweek magazine presented some excerpts from it this week.
Rice writes in the book that both she and President George W. Bush were “impressed by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s desire to get a deal” and that then Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, whom Olmert placed in charge of the negotiations, “admitted that she didn’t know the issues as well but she came up to speed very quickly.”
Rice recalls one trip to Jerusalem, in May of 2008, when Olmert asked to have dinner with her. During that dinner, she says, Olmert told her that “‘Israel needs to get an agreement with the Palestinians before you leave office. I want to do it directly with Abu Mazen,’ he said, referring to Mahmoud Abbas by his nom de guerre. ‘You are going to see him tomorrow. Tell him that I want to appoint one person. I have someone in mind. He is a retired judge that I trust. I want Abu Mazen to appoint a trusted agent too. We can write down the agreement in a few pages and then give it to the negotiators to finalize,’ he said.”
It was during that same conversation, Rice says, that Olmert told her the details of his groundbreaking proposal.
“‘I know what he needs. He needs something on refugees and on Jerusalem. I’ll give him enough land, maybe something like 94 percent with swaps. I have an idea about Jerusalem. There will be two capitals, one for us in West Jerusalem and one for the Palestinians in East Jerusalem. The mayor of the joint city council will be selected by population percentage. That means an Israeli mayor, so the deputy should be a Palestinian. We will continue to provide security for the Holy sites because we can assure access to them.’"
"That’s probably a nonstarter, I thought," Rice writes. "But concentrate, concentrate. This is unbelievable. He continued, ‘I’ll accept some Palestinians into Israel, maybe five thousand. I don’t want it to be called family reunification because they have too many cousins; we won’t be able to control it. I’ve been thinking about how to administer the Old City. There should be a committee of people—not officials but wise people—from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinians, the United States, and Israel. They will oversee the city but not in a political role.’”
“Am I really hearing this? I wondered,” Rice writes. Continued: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/149084

BR. NATHANAEL'S INTERVIEW WITH HISTORIAN MICHAEL HOFFMAN II
JUDAISM'S STRANGE GODS
Michael A Hoffman II, historian and writer, is the founder of Independent History & Research. He was educated at the University of New York and is a former reporter for the New York Bureau of the Associated Press.
Hoffman is the author of several books, including the well known, Judaism’s Strange Gods. His newsletter, The Hoffman Wire, is sent out weekly to thousands of supporters.
Br Nathanael: Is Judaism based on the Old Testament Scriptures?
Michael Hoffman: No. By the time of Christ, Judaism was based on the “Oral Law.” The New Testament speaks of this as the “traditions of the elders.” Jesus Christ denounced and condemned the “traditions of the elders” in the Gospel of John Chapter 5 and in the Gospel of Mark Chapter 7.
After the Jewish leadership crucified Jesus Christ, and their subsequent killings and persecution of Christians throughout the Roman world, the rabbis committed to writing the “traditions of the elders” which formed the first part of the Talmud called the Mishnah.
This occurred in Babylon toward the end of the second century A.D. All subsequent books of the Talmud were composed in Babylon from the third century until the end of the sixth century A.D.
Br Nathanael: Is then Judaism based on the Talmud and not on the Bible?
Michael Hoffman: The hermeneutic system of Judaism is not based on the Bible but on the Talmud. This must be understood when dealing with the rabbis and their submissive flock. Judaism, though much in vogue with Evangelicals and Roman Catholics, is totally alien to the only Biblical religion on earth today, Christianity.
Br Nathanael: You said above that Jesus Christ denounced the traditions of the elders? How so?
Michael Hoffman: The rabbis teach that the revelation granted to Moses had been delivered in two forms, a smaller revelation in writing, and the larger one kept oral.
The rabbis claim that the so-called “oral revelation” had been transmitted by the leaders of each generation to their successors—by Moses to Joshua; and then to the elders; to the prophets; to the men of the Sanhedrin; to the leaders of the Pharisees; and finally to the earliest rabbis who saw themselves as heirs of the Pharisees.
This supposed transmission of the Oral Law, the “tradition of the elders,” was challenged by Jesus who termed it “commandments of men which nullify the Word of God.”
Thus Jesus made the tale of the transmission a fraud. It is a lie concocted in hell to claim that Moses issued two sets of law, one written and public - the other oral and secret. In the entire Bible there is nothing to support this imposture. Continued: http://www.realjewnews.com/?p=20
