- NETANYAHU AT HIS BEST
- Even those who aren't particularly sympathetic to Israel's
Benjamin Netanyahu, could get a good measure of satisfaction
from this interview with British Television during the retaliation
against Hamas' shelling of Israel.
The interviewer asked him: "How come so many more Palestinians
have been killed in this conflict than Israelis?" (A nasty
question if there ever was one!)
Netanyahu: "Are you sure that you want to start asking in
that direction?"
Interviewer: (Falling into the trap) Why not?
Netanyahu: "Because in World War II more Germans were killed
than British and Americans combined, but there is no doubt in
anyone's mind that the war was caused by Germany's aggression.
And in response to the German blitz on London, the British wiped
out the entire city of Dresden, burning to death more German
civilians than the number of people killed in Hiroshima. Moreover,
I could remind you that in 1944, when the R.A.F. tried to bomb
the Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen, some of the bombs missed
their target and fell on a Danish children's hospital, killing
83 little children. Perhaps you have another question?"
Apparently, Benjamin Netanyahu gave another interview and was
asked about Israel's occupation of Arab lands. His response was,
"It's our land". The reporter (CNN or the like) was
stunned - read below "It's our land..." It's important
information since we don't get fair and accurate reporting from
the media and facts tend to get lost in the jumble of daily events.
"Crash Course on the Arab-Israeli Conflict."
Here are overlooked facts in the current & past Middle East
situation. These were compiled by a Christian university professor:
- BRIEF FACTS ON THE ISRAELI CONFLICT TODAY... (It takes just
1.5 minutes to read!)
It makes sense and it's not slanted. Jew and non-Jew -- it doesn't
matter.
- 1. Nationhood and Jerusalem: Israel became a nation in 1312
BC, two thousand (2000) years before the rise of Islam.
2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part
of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment
of the modern State of Israel.
3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BC, the Jews have had dominion
over the land for one thousand (1000) years with a continuous
presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 lasted no
more than 22 years.
5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital.
Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity.
Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought
to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.
6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish
Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.
7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came
to Jerusalem.
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs
toward Jerusalem.
9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: in 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged
to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of
Jews. Sixty-eight percent left (many in fear of retaliation by
their own brethren, the Arabs), without ever seeing an Israeli
soldier. The ones who stayed were afforded the same peace, civility,
and citizenship rights as everyone else.
- 10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands
due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms.
- 11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is
estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees
from Arab lands is estimated to be about 800,000.
12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated
into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab
territory.. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II,
theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never
been absorbed or integrated into their own people's lands. Jewish
refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger
than the state of New Jersey.
- 13. The Arab-Israeli Conflict: the Arabs are represented
by twenty two separate nations, not including the Palestinians
(which is not a nation but a conglomeration of people from separate
nations). There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated
all five wars and lost. Israel defended itself each time and
won.
14. The PLO's Charter still calls for the destruction of the
State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the
West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and
has supplied them.
15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and
the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli
rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and
made accessible to people of all faiths.
16. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security
Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against
Israel.
17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990,
429 were directed against Israel.
18. The UN was silent while 58 Jerusalem synagogues were destroyed
by the Jordanians.
- 19. The UN was silent while the Jordanians systematically
desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.
20. The UN was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like
a policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and
the Western Wall.
These are incredible times. We have to ask what our role should
be. What will we tell our grandchildren about what we did when
there was a turning point in Jewish destiny, an opportunity to
make a difference?
START NOW - Send this to 18 other people you know and ask them
to send it to eighteen others, Jew and non-Jew - it doesn't really
matter. The Golden Report - http://www.thegoldenreport.com/

- DID OBAMA CALL ON ISRAEL TO VACATE TEMPLE MOUNT?
Israeli politicians accuse president of 'misrepresenting history'
in U.N. speech
- Posted: September 24, 2009 - By Aaron Klein - WorldNetDaily
- President Obama addressing the U.N. General Assembly yesterday
- JERUSALEM Did President Obama yesterday adopt U.N. and
Palestinian phraseology while calling on Israel to give up the
biblical West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem, including
the Temple Mount?
- Some members of the Israeli government here reacted angrily
to Obama's strongly worded demand expressed during his
speech to the U.N. General Assembly for the creation of
a "viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous
territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967."
- The term "occupation" routinely is used by the
Palestinians as well as some countries hostile to the Jewish
state in reference to Israel's presence in the West Bank and
Jerusalem. It is unusual for U.S. presidents to use the term,
although Jimmy Carter once famously called Israel's presence
in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem "illegal."
- "Occupation that began in 1967" is a specific reference
to the lands Israel retained after the Six Day War of that year,
particularly the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem, including the
Temple Mount.
- The Palestinians never maintained any official capacity in
either territory, lands in which Jews have been present for thousands
of years. The territories came under Jordanian rule from 1948
until Israel captured them in 1967 after Jordan's King Hussein
ignored Israeli pleas for his country to stay out of the Six
Day War. Most countries rejected Jordan's initial claim on the
area, which it formally renounced in 1988.

- UN'S HUMAN RIGHTS AGENDA IS HIJACKED
- by Vic Alhadeff, NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, Australia
- ISRAELI foreign minister Abba Eban once jested that if a resolution
was tabled at the UN that the world is flat - and that Israel
flattened it - it would pass by a majority of 170-5 with 17 abstentions.
- ...The UN is mandated with the moral authority to adjudicate
on matters of international concern, yet an alarming number of
its agencies are headed by countries whose human rights records
range from questionable to appalling, including Libya, Zimbabwe,
Algeria, Sudan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Burma. The Human Rights
Council has studiously avoided condemning the brutalities in
Darfur, war in Congo , Chechnya and Sri Lanka, but has directed
26 out of 32 resolutions condemning human rights violations against
Israel.
- ...The Goldstone report in its 575 pages blithely ignored
Hamas's ideology - which declares that Israel will exist only
until Islam obliterates it. Nor did its executive summary breathe
a word about the 10,000 rockets Hamas fired into Israel in eight
years. And even though Hamas MP Fathi Hamad admitted Hamas "created
a human shield of women, children, the elderly", Goldstone
did "not consider it to constitute evidence".
- There have been more than 400 anti-Israel resolutions in
the General Assembly - more than against all other UN nations
combined - and six emergency sessions on Israel...
- Rocket Factory in the West Bank. A weapons lab containing
explosives and pipes that were apparently meant to be used to
assemble rockets was discovered in Abu Dis, near Jerusalem. The
Shin Bet revealed in a report last year that Hamas terror operatives
in the West Bank had increased efforts to obtain a rocket capability
and to develop Kassam rockets that could be fired into central
Israeli cities.
- Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
- Similar Conflict Different International Response: Tamils
waged a terror war against Sri Lanka illegitimately demanding,
because they are non-indigenous migrants from India, independence
from Sri Lanka. At the moment, some 300,000 Tamils are detained
in concentration camps after the crude and bloody defeat of the
Tamil Tigers by the Sri Lankan government. There are neither
'Goldstone reports' nor Human Rights outcries. Where are the
International condemnations and UN hearings of real atrocities
committed by the Sri Lankan government? The difference is: Sri
Lanka is a Buddhist country, Israel is the Jewish one!
- Goldstone Backing Away from Report. In an interview with
the Jewish Daily Forward, Goldstone denied that his group had
conducted "an investigation." Instead, it was what
he called a "fact-finding mission" based largely on
the limited "material we had." Since this "material"
was cherry-picked by Hamas guides and spokesmen, Goldstone acknowledged
that "if this was a court of law, there would have been
nothing proven." (D o you remember another infamous anti-Israel
campaign - the Jenin 'massacre', instigated by the UN? There
was heavy 'smoke', but the UN stopped short of initiating an
investigation, to avoid embarrassment, because there was no 'fire'
!)
- What Palestinians, What Unity? Not long ago Abbas's Fatah
party finally signed Egypt 's plan for separate signings of a
reconciliation deal with Hamas after the Islamist group balked
at attending a unity ceremony. Hamas said it still had not decided
whether to agree to the proposal put forward by Egyptian mediators,
which was rejected and postponed many times by both sides. A
powerful Palestinian Dughmoush clan has become split between
pro-Al Qaida and pro-Hamas elements. Factions are being formed,
and the clan no longer works as a unit. (How many Israel-hating
terrorist splinter groups must Jews negotiate with?)
- Rabbis Boycott Pope's Visit. Italian rabbis have decided
to boycott the upcoming visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Romes main
synagogue on January 17th. The decision was made in protest of
the revival of a prayer which calls for the conversion of Jews
by the Church. (Finally, some rabbis have shown guts and self-respect!
Reconciliation requires mutual respect and genuine confession
of the sins of the past! Isn't this the main ritual of the Catholic
Church?)
- Abbas Declaration of NO Peace. "There will be no Israeli-Palestinian
peace treaty until the occupation of Jerusalem ends. We are determined
to safeguard the Aksa Mosque and Jerusalem," Palestinian
Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said in a speech in Ramallah
last week. (There will be no peace until Arabs occupation of
Jewish land ends!)
- IDF is Fighting Jewish Patriots. IDF Central District Commander
Maj.-Gen. Gadi Shamni issued orders banning two prominent Land
of Israel activists from returning to their homes, or anywhere
in the Shomron (Samaria), for the next six months. MK Dr. Michael
Ben-Ari (National Union) has condemned the issuing of administrative
orders against Land of Israel activists without trial. "I
find it strange that we only hear about such orders coming out
against nationalist activists. Who has ever heard of administrative
orders being issued against leftists..." At the same time,
according to a senior IDF source, weapons are flowing freely
into PA-controlled towns in Samaria thanks to the recent removal
of IDF checkpoints.
- Quote of the Week: "The real opponents of Zionism can
never be placated by any diplomatic formula: their objection
to the Jews is that the Jews exist, and in this particular case,
they exist in Palestine." - Chaim Weizmann, Israel's first
president.
- Is Sensitivity Always Needed? After Turkey recently cancelled
a joint air manoeuvre exercise with Israel due to the situation
in Gaza, Industry and Trade Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer said:
"Israel has important strategic interests with Turkey and
we must act with extra sensitivity to prevent dire predictions
concerning our relations from materializing." (Strangely,
Turkey, Jordan and Egypt have shown no "extra sensitivity"
toward Israel. Must Israel be always nice to her enemies, especially
to disguised as a friend ones?)
- Is Turkey a NATO Member or Islamic Stooge? The U.S. and Italy
pulled out of the multinational Anatolian Eagle drill after Ankara
banned Israel, so forcing NATO to cancel the exercise.
- Hamas Cowards Ran Away to Sinai. After weeks of absorbing
criticism from Hamas, Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas
struck back, accusing the Gaza terror group's leadership of running
away to Sinai during Operation Cast Lead this past January. "Hamas
leaders escaped, leaving its people to die".
- Jews Still Living in Mental Slavery. While support for Israel
is important to U.S. Jews, a new survey by the National Jewish
Democratic Council shows that they would vote Democrat even if
the candidate was apathetic about supporting Israel. (Democracy
means that people do have a freedom of choice and are not guided
by redundant dogma!)
- Normalization - Islamic Style. Following the historic accord
normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia, Turkish PM
Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that opening the border between the
two countries is linked to the question of the enclave of Nagorno-Karbagh.
This Christian Armenian enclave is located in Muslim Azerbaijan.
(This accord worth nothing, as Turkey has still not accepted
responsibility for the slaughter of up to 1.5 million Armenians
in 1916.)
- Palestine Problem Hopeless?
- by Spengler
- "The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable,"
declared United Sates President Barack Obama in his June 4 Cairo
address. Really? Compared to what? Things are tough all over.
The Palestinians are one of many groups displaced by the population
exchanges that followed World War II, and the only ones whose
great-grandchildren still have the legal status of refugees.
Why are they still there? The simplest explanation is that they
like it there, because they are much better off than people of
similar capacities in other Arab countries.
- The standard tables of gross domestic product (GDP) per capital
show the West Bank and Gaza at US$1,700, just below Egyp's $1,900.
&GDP per capita, moreover, does not reflect the spending
power of ordinary people. Forty-four percent of Egyptians, for
example, live on less than $2 a day. ...Literacy in the Palestinian
Authority domain is 92.4%, equal to that of Singapore. That is
far better than the 71.4% in Egypt , or 80.8% in Syria.
- Without disputing Obama's claim that life for the Palestinians
is intolerable, it is fair to ask: where is life not intolerable
in the Arab world? When the first UN Arab Development Report
appeared in 2002, it elicited comments such as this one: "With
barely an exception, its autocratic rulers, whether presidents
or kings, give up their authority only when they die; its elections
are a sick joke; half its people are treated as lesser legal
and economic beings, and more than half its young, burdened by
joblessness and stifled by conservative religious tradition,
are said to want to get out of the place as soon as they can."
- &Palestinian Arabs are highly literate, richer and healthier
than people in most other Arab countries, thanks to the United
Nations Relief and Works Agency and the blackmail payments of
Western as well as Arab governments. As refugees, they live longer
and better than their counterparts in adjacent Arab countries.
It is not surprising that they do not want to be absorbed into
other Arab countries and cease to be refugees. Source:

- YOU WERE SILENT FOR EIGHT YEARS!
David Buskila, the mayor of Sderot, sent a personal letter to
the head of the United Nations committee of inquiry on the war
in Gaza , Judge Richard Goldstone. In the missive, Buskila protested
against the UN's silence - and Goldstone's - in the years leading
up to the Gaza operation. The world, the UN, and Goldstone had
eight years in which to protest the rocket attacks on Sderot
and other towns in southern Israel, Buskila said. Instead, they
said nothing while Hamas repeatedly attacked: "The world
was silent, and so were you. You were silent at the sight of
our children's bodies, you were silent in the face of their fear,
you were silent when each of the 8,000 Kassam rockets hit our
city."
- "Let us not ignore the facts - the suffering of Sderot
and its children, and likewise the suffering of Gaza' residents,
are on the shoulders and the conscience of Hamas's leaders and
the leaders of fundamentalist Islam," (And the leaders of
the so-called Free World, but not for Jews, who have remained
silent while Jews were terrorized and suffered from Arab aggression!)
- PA Teen Terrorists Preferred Israel Jail to Home http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/133663
"Road Map" is Violation of International Law.
- ...the US Government continues violation of the Treaties
that recognize Israel's rights to its internationally recognized
legal borders, the prohibition against ceding any land belonging
to the Jewish National Home, and supporting the right of Jewish
settlement within those internationally recognized borders. The
legal borders in question comprise all Israel, including all
of Judea, Samaria , the Gaza Strip, the entire city of Jerusalem
and more... (as
it was defined in July 1922 by the League of Nations)
- These borders were recognized by the United States in a 1924
treaty with Great Britain . The Jewish National rights recognized
by the British and the Americans under the 1924 Anglo-American
treaty are still guaranteed by the treaty. Furthermore, the US
Constitution calls a treaty the "Supreme Law of the Land"
and the Courts have the power to force the Federal Executive
Branch (President, Secretary of State, etc.) to honour Treaties.
- Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
- Popes, kings, dictators and presidents have been legitimising
and justifying their ugly deeds against Jews using 'disturbed'
Jew-puppets: the Soviet Union did it to destroy enemies of the
Communist doctrine and the heritage of its own Jewish people,
the United Kingdom and others it during the Palestinian mandate
to destroy the Jewish dream of a national homeland, and the Catholic
Church did it during the Inquisition to kill Jews physically
and spiritually
- Extraordinary Mockery of Nobel Peace Prize! US President
Barack Obama had received the award this year Nobel Peace Prize
for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international
diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," particularly
for his outreach to the Muslim world and attempts to curb nuclear
proliferation. (All Obama's "extraordinary efforts"
just rhetoric of a skilful demagogue and are leading nowhere
but failure. Many of them have failed already. A Nobel Prize
is given for achievement, not for wishful-thinking!)
- Removing Terror-linked Population. The United Arab Emirates
has reportedly expelled dozens of Lebanese Shiites from its territory.
They were suspected of having linked to the Hezbollah. (Shouldn't
Israel do the same with the terror-linked so-called Palestinian
families?)
- Jews are Still Gluttons for Punishment. A Gallup poll released
not long ago shows that out of all religious groups in the United
States, Jews account for the biggest group supporting Barack
Obama as president. Sixty four percent of American Jews, in spite
of the clearly not pro-Israel policy of the current administration,
approve of the job he is doing and support his presidency. Among
Catholics, 54% approve and support the Obama presidency, while
47% of Protestants and only 32% of Mormons do. Seventy eight
percent of American Jews voted for Obama in the 2008 elections.
- Another Muslim 'Democracy'. The United Nations official recently
removed from his post in Kabul , Peter Galbraith, estimates that
up to one third of the votes for President Hamid Karzai in the
August election were phoney. He accused his former boss, Kai
Eide, of being soft on the level of fraud in the elections, saying
that in one region, ''there were ten times as many votes as there
are voters.'' (In the West we pay for this farce with the blood
of our soldiers and taxpayers' money!)
- Quote of the Week: "We know from history that a war
against the Jews becomes a war against free people and free nations
everywhere.'' - Israel PM Binyamin Netanyahu.
- Reconciliation Game. Senior Hamas member Salah Al-Bardawil
called on Egypt on Monday night to delay the signing of a Hamas-Fatah
reconciliation agreement, only hours after Egyptian intelligence
chief Omar Suleiman had announced an October 26th date for the
signing to take place. Al-Bardawil said that PA Chairman Mahmoud
Abbas was not true to PA interests. (Why should he be? By his
own admission, his family came to Tzvat, Israel, from Damascus,
Syria!)
- Another Case of International Hypocrisy. The Israel Antiquities
Authority condemned the World Archaeological Congress for holding
an international conference in Ramallah dedicated to "overcoming
structural violence" and the negative impact of politics
on archaeology. UN excluded Israelis by not informing the IAA
of the event in advance and deliberately allowed an academic
forum to be used for political propaganda against Israel.
- What Peace process? Fatah has declared to PA President Mahmoud
Abbas, who heads the movement, that he must not resume peace
talks unless Israel freezes its settlement construction. Fatah's
position could help Abbas stand up to U.S. pressure to return
to the negotiating table. (Strangely, the refusal by the PA and
Arab states to recognize Israel as the Jewish state and end terror
are not considered as obstacles to peace!)
- Turning Skin Cells into Stem Cells. Scientists in Haifa have
adapted an innovative Japanese gene-implantation technique to
reprogram and reverse human skin cells back to artificial embryonic
stem cells. After become stem cells, researchers switched them
into heart cells.
- Have You Heard About These Wars?
- 1. The latest paroxysm of Yemen 's five-year war with the
rebel Houthis has left more than 2,000 dead in less than a month
and up to 150,000 homeless. Yemeni government troops are battling
around 15,000 Iranian-armed and trained Houthi rebels dug into
the northern Sadaa mountains on the Saudi Arabian border. Saudi
air force bombers are pounding the rebels and the Egyptian air
force and navy are ferrying ammunition to the Yemen army with
US encouragement and funding...
- This strategically-located, poor Red Sea country - Yemen
, for years a critical stage for the war against Islamic extremists,
has now become a key arena where the United States and Iran jockey
for regional primacy. In that respect, the Yemen conflict compares
in importance with the 2006 Lebanon War and the Gaza conflict...
- 2. An estimated 5.4 million people have been killed in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo since 1998, with 38,000 more
dying every month. Yet not only are most people unaware of this,
the worst toll since World War II, but there has been no hint
of the UN General Assembly emergency session to discuss it, let
alone condemn it. (No visits from the 'special' US envoy, no
press coverage, no international interest, no condemnations,
no investigations etc& The terrorists in Yemen have the same
ideological base as the ones in Gaza and Lebanon , but Yemen
is not Israel ! The lives of the people of the Congo have the
same value, don't they?) Steven Shamrak http://www.shamrak.com/index.php

- JUSTICE NOW!
- Calls for Temple Mount to be Open for Jewish Worshipers in
Accordance with the 1967 Protection of Holy Places Law. - Steven
Shamrak <stevenshamrak.e@gmail.com> September 29, 2009
- The Office for Israeli Constitutional Law /Justice Now! is
calling upon Jerusalem authorities to allow Jewish access to
the Temple Mount without limitation and to provide adequate protection
for in accordance with Israeli law. The Temple Mount is the holiest
site in the world for the Jewish People, and only a small number
of Jews are allowed each day to ascend to the holy site. Furthermore,
Jews are barred from expressing their right of free worship under
threat of arrest because authorities fear Arabs will violently
protest.
- Justice Now! director, Mark Kaplan says, "The current
Muslim incitement on the site of our Holy Temple has led to the
Jewish victims being punished instead of punishing those who
are instigating the terror. The situation is tantamount to putting
a woman in prison to prevent her from being beaten by a violent
spouse."
- Justice Now! is calling on the police/government to enforce
the 1967 Protection of Holy Places Law.
- "The law, according to Justice Now! chairman, Michael
Snidecor, "says, the Holy Places shall be protected
from desecration and other violation and from anything likely
to violate the freedom of access of the members of the different
religions to the places sacred to them.
- "This law, which was passed by the Eshkol government,
is so serious that those who violate the freedom of access to
the holy places can be sentenced for up to five years in prison.
Obviously, the law requires the police to protect Jewish worshippers
from the threat of violent attacks, while allowing Jews the rights
of free and peaceful worship on this holiest of sites."
- The Office for Israeli Constitutional Law/Justice Now! is
an Israeli legal action organization. The organization is currently
preparing a letter to be sent later this moth to the U.S. Government
demanding the Americans honor resolution signed into law during
a joint session of Congress and a treaty recognizing Israels
rights granted through the Mandate for Palestine, including the
Mandated borders (comprising all the territory of Palestine)
the right of Jewish settlement, and the prohibition against ceding
any Jewish National land to any other authority.

- THE US PRESSURE ON ISRAEL!
- Israel can and must act in her own best interests by Yoram
Ettinger - Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
- Fact: In 1950, the US Administration pressured Israel to
refrain from Jewish construction in Jerusalem and from declaring
Jerusalem the capital of Israel - Prime Minister Ben Gurion built,
relocated government agencies and thousands of immigrants to
Jerusalem and declared Jerusalem the capital of the Jewish State.
In 1967, the US Administration pressured against annexation of
East Jerusalem - Prime Minister Eshkol annexed, reunited Jerusalem,
and built the formidable Ramat Eshkol neighbourhood. In 1970,
the US Administration pressured Israel to relinquish control
over parts of Jerusalem - Prime Minister Golda Meir constructed
the neighbourhoods of Gilo, Ramot and Neveh Yaakov (current population
over 100,000). The US Administration pressured, Israel constructed,
Fact: In 1948, the US Department of State, Pentagon and CIA pressured
Ben Gurion to avoid a declaration of independence. In 1961, President
Kennedy pressured to stop the construction of Israel 's nuclear
reactor. In 1967, President Johnson pressured against pre-empting
the Egypt-Syria-Jordan military offensive. In 1977, President
Carter pressured Prime Minister Begin to abstain from direct
negotiation with President Sadat and participate - instead -
in an international conference, focusing on the Palestinian issue
and Jerusalem . In 1981, President Reagan pressured Prime Minister
Begin against bombing Iraq's nuclear reactor. (There are many
more examples of subservient 'friendship' between the US and
Israel.)
- New Fact: In pursue of 'useless 'historic' photo opportunity,
President Obama dropped his demand for an Israeli settlement
freeze. The demand for the PA to recognize Israel as the Jewish
state was never vigorously pursued by the US administration!
NOTE: Defiance of pursuit entails short-term cost but enhances
long-term national security. Submission to pressure exacerbates
pressure. Fending off pressure is required, in order to attain
Israel's strategic goal ! Quote of the Week: "They have
to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there
and watch?" - former national security advisor to former
U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who enthusiastically
campaigned for U.S. President Barack Obama - It is hard to purge
traditional Polish anti-Semitism even from the American security
advisor. Even harder to except that it was said by a 'respectable'
American!
- UNRWA Impedes Peace Process. More than 1,500 Arab refugees
from Iraq , descendants of Arabs who fled pre-state Israel in
the 1940s, have recently been welcomed into the United States
and Chile. Refugees who relocated to Chile have settled in to
their new home, and have received a warm welcome from Chile'
s leaders. The successful absorption of thousands of 'Palestinian
refugees' from Iraq proves that the United Nations Relief and
Works Agency impedes Arab refugees from building a better future.
(Nobody protested against how new 'democratic' Iraq treats its
'poor Palestinians'! And none of the Muslim states, such great
'lovers' of Palestinians, have offered them home!)
- Pakistan is Another Unremorseful Islamic State. A Pakistani
court ordered the government to lift any remaining restrictions
on a scientist, Abdul Qadeer Khan, who has spread nuclear technology
to Iran, North Korea and Libya Madness of Political Correctness
and Appeasement. Yale University Press, owned by the university,
removed 12 caricatures from an upcoming book about how they caused
outrage across the Muslim world. (Great academic way of studying
Islamic violence! Where are the freedoms of speech and the freedoms
of academic pursuit?)
- Hamas Plans to Raise More Terrorists. 1. Hamas has sponsored
the weddings of 382 so-called Palestinian couples in Syria .
The point is to make babies, and more terrorists. 2. 900 Hamas
sponsored marriages were performed not long ago in the north
of the Gaza Strip. Each groom received a present of $500 from
Hamas. (They hate the US , but love the US dollars!)
- Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
- After so many 'objective' enquiries and reports about Israel
it would only be logical to expect that the United Nations, as
a part of its impartiality, will start its investigations of
terrorist organization Hamas for committing war crimes and human
rights abuse in Gaza!
- All non-Muslims are the Target! A poll released by the Pew
Global Attitudes Project found that support for terrorism remains
unusually high among Palestinian Authority Arabs - 68 percent
of them expressed support for suicide bombings against civilians
"to defend Islam from enemies." Among Israeli Muslims,
only seven percent support attacks on civilians as a justification
to protect Islam. (Not only Jews!)
- Life with 'Friendly' Neighbours Takes its Toll. Stress and
anxiety caused by living under the ongoing threat of rocket attacks
has tremendously impacted the kids of Sderot. 45 percent of the
town's children under the age of six suffer from Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD), which is expressed through developmental
regression, sleeping disorders or aggression. Amongst adults,
the data indicated that 41 percent of mothers and 33 percent
of fathers suffer from PTSD, often experience flashbacks, and
avoid places that remind them of rocket attacks. (International
Jew-haters are usually 'poor Palestinian' lovers. They do not
care about the wellbeing of Jewish children!)
- Vatican in Holocaust Blame Game. Britain and the United States
possessed detailed knowledge of Hitler's plans to exterminate
Jews and did nothing to stop it, accused the Vatican 's official
newspaper. Authorities in both countries ignored, downplayed
and even suppressed intelligence reports about Nazi extermination
plans and chose not to bomb concentration camps and the railway
stations that supplied them. The report quoted from the diary
of Henry Morgenthau Jr., the wartime U.S. secretary of the treasury,
who described the UK's alleged indifference as "a Satanic
combination of British chill and diplomatic double talk, cold
and correct and adding up to a sentence of death". As early
as August 1942, the U.S. government "knew that the Nazis
were planning to exterminate all the Jews of Europe" (The
Vatican continuously downplays its own silence during WW2 and
its facilitation of and moral responsibility for the Holocaust!)
- Quote of the Week: ''IDF officers who committed war crimes
should be punished, and those who did not punish them should
also be sanctioned,'' - judge Richard Goldstone - This 'impartial'
UN judge said nothing about punishing Hamas terrorists for committing
war crimes, but he has already judged and sentenced Jews!
- Israel Defending US and Europe.
- Advances in Iran's rocket technology, coupled with its nuclear
program, are chief concerns of the United States and Europe,
as well as of Israel and other Middle Eastern countries. Alongside
diplomatic efforts to persuade Iran to curb its nuclear research,
missile defence programs have been designed with that country
in mind.
- The Obama administration decided to scrap a Bush-era plan
to deploy a longer-range-missile defence system in the Czech
Republic and Poland, and said it would move toward a more intermediate
system that better matches its assessment of Iran's capabilities.
(Deployment of a missile defence system nowadays is just an attempt
to avoid dealing with the problems directly - Nuclear Iran and
North Korea !)
- As it pushes for international action against Iran's nuclear
program, Israel is steadily assembling one of the world's most
advanced missile defence systems, a multi-layered collection
of weapons meant to guard against a variety of threats, including
the shorter-range Grads used to strike Israeli towns like this
one and intercontinental rockets.
- (It is a well known secret that Israel has been acting as
a front line of defence for the Western world from Islamic terror
for a long time. Instead of destroying the roots of the problem,
fake wars are being conducted in Iraq and Afghanistan . They
are useless activities to create the appearance that something
is done for world security. Only by removing the nuclear treat
from Iran and by ending sponsorship of Islamic terrorism by Muslim
countries, starting with Saudi Arabia, will the world end the
perpetuation of the 'cycle of violence'!) Food for Thought. by

- ISRAEL IN DANGER OF BEING BLINDSIDED BY TWO NEW GRAVE THREATS
- http://flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com/ - On October 6, 1973,
Israel was hit by a massive and devastating surprise attack on
Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism. The warning signs that
Israels enemies were gearing up to deal the Jewish State
a death blow were there. Her leaders simply didnt properly
assess, interpret and respond to them. By Gods grace, Israel
was saved from the brink of utter ruination. But it was close,
and painful. Thirty-six years later, Israel is once again in
grave danger. By Irans nuclear threat, to be sure. But
Israel is actually in danger of being blindsided by two new threats.
- The first threat is the real and growing possibility that
the United Nations will shift the nuclear spotlight away from
Iran and on to Israel in an effort to force Jerusalem to disclose
and dismantle its alleged nuclear weapons and join the Nuclear
Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Israel does not openly acknowledge
having atomic weapons. But the U.N. Security Council could pass
a resolution forcing Israel to allow international inspectors
in. If Israel refused to comply, she could be subject to diplomatic
isolation, crippling economic sanctions, and even international
enforcement (that is, a coalition of nations ready to go to war
over the issue, just as the U.S. led a coalition in 2003 to force
Iraq to comply with U.N. resolutions regarding weapons of mass
destruction.)
- This is a scenario Ive been warning about for years,
including in my 2005 political thriller, The Ezekiel Option.
But this is no longer fiction. IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei
publicly raised this as a serious possibility yesterday, saying,
Israel is the number one threat to the Middle East given
the nuclear arms it possesses. The Wall Street Journal
columnist Bret Stephens also has a must-read column in todays
paper explaining how this scenario could come to pass in the
not-too-distant future. Keep in mind: President Obama is making
global nuclear disarmament his top foreign policy priority. He
chaired a U.N. Security Council meeting last week to push this
agenda. It is increasingly conceivable that he will try to force
Israel to play by the same rules as everyone else
and disarm unilaterally, even though Israel has never threatened
to annihilate a neighbor. As I imagine in The Ezekiel
Option, such a resolution against Israel could be introduced
into the U.N. by Russia. The coalition against Israel could be
led by Russia and Iran. Should this happen, we could begin to
see the prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39 come to pass in fairly short
order. While it is too early to conclude that is what is happening
now, it is not too early to intensify our prayers for the peace
of Jerusalem, according to Psalm 122:6.
- The second threat is the real and growing possibility that
the world will unilaterally create and recognize a Palestinian
State, not through negotiations with Israel but by fiat. World
leaders have been trying to engineer a comprehensive
final peace agreement for decades. The Palestinians rejected
a generous final peace offer by then-Israeli PM Ehud Barak in
2000 at Camp David. Then, Yasser Arafat unleashed the Second
Intifada and a horrific wave of suicide bombings throughout
Israel. The Palestinians then rejected repeated peace offers
by then-Israeli PM Ehud Olmert. Then, Hamas fired thousands of
rockets and mortars at southern Israel until Operation Cast Lead
crushed most of the Hamas activities in January of 2009.
- Rather than be impatient with the Palestinian leadership,
however, for consistently rejecting sweeping Israeli peace proposals,
the world increasingly wants to force Israel to make deeper and
deeper concessions. With his Cairo and U.N. General Assembly
speeches, President Obama has taken the lead on this effort.
He is demanding Israel return to its pre-1967 borders, divide
Jerusalem and allow the Palestinians to have a state with contiguous
borders (thus cutting Israel proper in two).
- Now come a growing number of signs that world leaders are
preparing to impose a final solution to the Israeli-Palestinian
impasse, perhaps based on Palestinian Prime Minister Fayyads
new two-year plan to create a viable Palestinian state. During
July, the EUs Javier Solana lectured in London and said
that if the peace process was going nowhere, the international
community should consider recognizing a Palestinian state under
a UN resolution even without Israels consent, reports
Dr. Dore Gold, the former Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. [Solana]
called for a fixed deadline for future negotiations. The Fayyad
Plan could prepare the groundwork for such international action
by providing the Palestinians with the main legal preconditions
for recognition: the exercise of effective governmental control,
the capacity to engage in foreign relations, and a defined territory.
The last criteria for statehood is the most problematic. According
to Solana, after the UN Security Council proclaims the adoption
of a two-state solution, it will also adopt further follow-up
resolutions regarding the highly contentious issues of refugees,
Jerusalem and borders. In short, the Solana plan is an imposed
solution, using the UN Security Council as its main instrument,
which will decide the issue of Israels future borders and
those of the Palestinian state.
- These are dangerous developments. And lets be clear:
trying to force Israel to comply with such unfair and misguided
initiatives wont lead to peace. Rather, they will put millions
of innocent Israeli and Palestinian lives in grave danger. May
God have mercy on us all. http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/October08/0821.html

- HOLLYWOOD'S SCATHING PORTRAYAL OF JUDAISM
October 24, 2009 - by Henry Makow Ph.D. - Hollywood has been
accused of portraying Christianity with a jaundiced eye while
sugarcoating Jews and Judaism. Or it presents Jews as non-Jews.
Finally, "A Serious Man," a new movie by Oscar winning
directors Joel and Ethan Coen, is frankly about Jews. It satirizes
many Jewish types and suggests Judaism is a fraud.
- If this begins a trend toward honest self-examination, there
is hope yet for the chosen people.
- Set in Minneapolis in 1967, "A Serious Man" is
an homage to the Coen's Jewish upbringing. The protagonist is
physics teacher Larry Gopnik, played by stage actor Michael Stuhlbarg
who, like the Biblical Job, is beset by a multitude of difficulties.
- "I didn't do anything wrong," he protests when
Judith, his pouting wife, announces she is leaving him for Sy
Ableman (pictured together, left.) Larry is a "serious man"
-- hard working, ethical and responsible. Why is God testing
him?
- Larry turns to a friend, Mimi for sympathy. "It's not
always easy, deciphering what God is trying to tell you,"
she says. "We're Jews, we have that well of tradition to
draw on, to help understand. When we're puzzled, we have all
the stories that have been handed down from people to people."
- In fact, that well is dry. Gopnik visits rabbis who tells
stories unrelated to his dilemma. One tells him to find "Ha
Shem" (God, the "name") everywhere, even in the
parking lot. Another relates a story about a dentist who found
Hebrew letters on a Gentile's teeth. "What does this story
mean?" Gopnik says. "I don't know," the rabbi
replies.
- Finally, Gopnik pleads for an audience with the revered Senior
Rabbi Marshak. "He's busy," his battleship of a secretary
tells Larry. "He doesn't look busy," says Larry.
- "He's thinking," the secretary assures him.
- After his Bar Mitzvah, Gopnik's son Danny does get an audience
with the fabled Marshak. Danny waits in eager anticipation for
the wisdom that marks his induction into the Jewish fraternity.
- Finally, the great rabbi opens his mouth and quotes The Jefferson
Airplane's song "Somebody to Love." (1967) Continued:

- BARAK: TRIP TO USA FOR DRAFTING AGREEMENT WITH THE PA
By Nissan Ratzlav-Katz - (IsraelNN.com) Defense Minister Ehud
Barak and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu are traveling to
the United States this week to meet with senior White House officials
in an effort to draft an agreement to be offered to the Fatah-led
half of the Palestinian Authority, under Mahmoud Abbas. Such
an agreement, Barak said Tuesday, will include a "viable
Palestinian State" and the end of Israeli sovereignty in
Judea and Samaria. According to Barak, the Obama administration
will be expected to promote the agreed-upon draft to Abbas, in
an effort to kick-start Israel-PA talks.
- In a Voice of Israel government radio report, Barak was quoted
as saying that the negotiations with the PA are intended to reach
an agreement that includes "the end of the conflict and
all mutual claims, the establishment of an economically and territorially
viable Palestinian State alongside Israel, and the end of the
occupation that began in 1967."
- This would entail, according to the PA's current demands,
a full withdrawal of the Israeli military and all 250,000 to
300,000 Jewish civilians in Judea and Samaria. The demand for
a statement that the two sides have no further claims has never
been accepted by the PA, due to its ongoing demand for unfettered
Arab migration into Israel and the belief that Israel was founded
entirely on Arab-Muslim lands.
- However, Barak told the media that an agreement such as he
described with the Palestinian Authority is a vital Israeli interest,
because all other options would be far worse.
- Minister Barak also praised U.S. Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton, as well as President Barack Obama's special envoy George
Mitchell. They have made significant efforts, according to Barak,
to promote negotiations and contacts between Israel and the PA.

- DEATH OF A MYTH: ISRAEL'S SUPPORT OF A TWO-STATE SOLUTION
By Rachelle Marshall - ISRAELS actions from the beginning
have directly contradicted the image it projects to the West.
The founding of a country that was to be a light among
nations required the forcible expulsion of most of its
original inhabitants. The Middle Easts only democracy
became the brutal oppressor of three million Palestinians. The
nationhood that was to endow the Jewish people with normality
gave them instead a garrison state in which military strength
is the dominant value. On the day of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin
Netanyahus White House meeting with President Barack Obama,
a Palestinian woman in the occupied city of Hebron stares at
an Israeli soldier standing guard near a wall spraypainted by
settlers with obscenities and the Star of David. Ultranationalist
Israeli Knesset members were visiting the city to protest Netanyahus
promotion of the easing of restrictions on Palestinians. http://www.wrmea.org/component/content/article/220-2009-july/3002-death-of-a-myth-israels-support-of-

Defense Minister Ehud Barak promised Labor faction chairman Daniel

was set to meet with US envoy George Mitchell in London on the

Likud is not Kadima!
- There is Growing rebellion in the Likud party against Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's reported concessions to US President
Barak Obama, opposing Netanyahu's freeze on Jewish construction
in Judea and Samaria. One of the leaders of the rebellion, Likud
MK Danny Danon, says there is no way that the Likud should be
implementing opposition party Kadima's platform (which has failed
so many times) . "We must keep our promise to our voters
to build in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria ," said Danon.

- OBAMA PLAN TEMPLE MOUNT UNDER ARAB MUSLIM SOVEREIGNTY?
- IsraelNationalNews.com - The Middle East peace plan that
United States President Barack Obama will unveil soon involves
the creation of a Palestinian Authority state by 2011 and the
transfer of Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem [presumably including
the Temple Mount] to Arab-Muslim sovereignty, Saudi newspaper
Al-Ukaz has learned.
According to the report published Sunday in Al-Ukaz, the Obama
plan also includes the following elements:
- Some parts of eastern Jerusalem [presumably Neveh Yaakov,
Pisgat Ze'ev and the like - ed.] would be transferred to Israeli
control.
There would be an international presence in the Jordan
Valley and other parts of Judea and Samaria.
The Palestinian Authority terror organizations would be
disbanded and turn into political parties.
The large settlement blocs in Judea and Samaria would not
be dismantled.
The fate of smaller Jewish settlement areas would be decided
in a three-month-long negotiation period.
A reporter for the Saudi newspaper received the information from
Hassan Harisha, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian
Authority Parliament. Harisha told him that the U.S. has handed
over a draft of the peace proposal to the PA and other Arabs
for their perusal.
- The plan also calls for Judea and Samaria to be demilitarized
and for its airspace to remain under Israel control. Israeli-Palestinian
Authority security coordination would be strengthened, and the
Palestinian Authority state would not be allowed to strike military
treaties with other countries in the region.
- An agreed number of Arab refugees would be absorbed
in the Jordan Valley area and in other parts of Judea and Samaria
especially in the area between Ramallah and Shechem.
- An international fund would support the refugees and Israel
would release Palestinian Authority prisoners three years after
a diplomatic accord is signed. Continued: http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/September03/0322.html

- PALESTINIAN CLERIC DENIES ISRAEL'S TEMPLE
- Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2009, www.wayoflife.org
- Sheik Taysir Tamimi, one of the most influential Muslim leaders
in Israel, denies that a Jewish temple existed in Jerusalem,
claiming that Jerusalem has always been an Islamic city ("Chief
Palestinian Justice Says Temples Never Existed," WorldNetDaily,
Aug. 27, 2009). The "Temple Denial" doctrine was invented
about a decade ago by Israel's enemies in Palestine and has spread
throughout much of the Muslim world, but it is nonsense. The
doctrine flies in the face of the Bible, and archaeological research
has provided evidence of the first and second temples. Further,
the oldest arch in Rome, the Arch of Titus, which was dedicated
in 85 A.D., features actual depictions of the articles removed
from the temple by Rome's army in 70 A.D. The candlestick and
silver trumpets are plainly visible to this d ay. Tamimi claims
that descriptions of the Jewish temple in Roman writings are
forged, but the Arch of Titus certainly was not forged. Its history
is well known. (For more on this see "Temple Denial vs.
Archaeology" at the Way of Life web site.)

- U.S. TAKES ITS SEAT AT U.N. RIGHTS COUNCIL, WITH FRESH CONTROVERSY
BREWING OVER ISRAEL
By Patrick Goodenough, International Editor - Monday, September
14, 2009 (CNSNews.com) The United States on Monday took
its seat on the U.N.s three year-old Human Rights Council
for the first time, for a session that once again promises controversy
over the councils single most focused-upon topic
Israel. The three-week long, 12th regular session of the 47-nation
council will include consideration of and debate over a report
compiled by investigators into allegations of war crimes during
Israels military offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip
last winter.
The inquiry was mandated by a special session of
the HRC last January, which passed a resolution condemning Israel
for massive violations of the human rights of the Palestinian
people. The resolution did not directly mention Hamas or
its attacks against Israeli civilians the stated reason
given by Jerusalem for mounting what it called Operation Cast
Lead last December. (Of 17 operative paragraphs, one paragraph
urged all parties
to refrain from violence against
the civilian population.) The investigations mandate
is simply to probe violations by Israel against the Palestinians.
The resolution passed by a 33-1 vote, with Canada alone in rejecting
it. Thirteen members Japan, South Korea, Cameroon and
ten European countries abstained. In April, the council
announced that the investigation would be chaired by Richard
Goldstone, a respected South African judge and former U.N. war
crimes prosecutor, and include three other experts. Making the
announcement, HRC president Martin Uhomoibhi of Nigeria said
he was confident it would operate in an independent and
impartial manner. Groups supportive of Israel quickly raised
doubts, however, pointing to what they viewed as an unbalanced
mandate that prejudged the inquiry. Goldstone has stressed his
intention to investigate allegations of war crimes and violations
on all sides, but the Israeli government rejected the inquiry
and its mandate and refused to cooperate.
Total integrity
Another concern raised was the fact that one of the inquirys
members, Prof. Christine Chinkin of the London School of Economics,
had signed a letter last January rejecting Israels assertion
that its operation constituted self-defense against Hamas rocket
attacks. Continued: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/53944

- BARACK TO IDF: ISSUE THE ORDER TO FREEZE SETTLEMENT CONSTRUCTION
By Barak Ravid, Haaretz Correspondent - November 26, 2009 - Defense
Minister Ehud Barak instructed the Israel Defense Forces on Thursday
to issue an injunction to temporarily freeze the construction
of housing projects in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, in accordance
with the cabinet's decision to that effect on Wednesday.
- The injunction will be signed by Major General Avi Mizrahi,
commander of IDF army headquarters.
- In a closed session held at the Defense Ministry headquarters
in Tel Aviv on Thursday, Barak remarked on the cabinet's decision
to freeze construction, saying "this is a unilateral step,
initiated by the government in coordination with the United States,
taken in efforts to advance the peace process with the Palestinians.
This decision places the extremely important task of enforcement
on the IDF, the police force, the Shin Bet security service and
the Civil Administration."
- Attorney General Menachem Mazuz told the security cabinet
Wednesday ahead of a vote on the decision that there is no real
way to enforce the freeze due to a lack of manpower. The implementation
of Israel's decision to freeze settlement construction in the
West Bank for 10 months is seen as an especially major challenge
for Israel.
- The security cabinet voted to impose the partial 10-month
freeze on construction in West Bank settlements, which will not
apply to East Jerusalem. Netanyahu called the partial freeze
a bid to restart stalled peace talks with the Palestinians.
- "I hope that this decision will help launch meaningful
negotiations to reach a historic peace agreement that will finally
end the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians," Netanyahu
said at a press conference he held shortly after the security
cabinet approved the moratorium.
- "In the whole of Judea and Samaria [West Bank], there
are just 14 building inspectors," Mazuz told the cabinet.
"If this doesn't change it will be difficult for the inspectors
to implement the decision."
- In light of Mazuz' warning, the cabinet authorized Barak,
Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich, the Justice Ministry
and the Finance Ministry to provide a supplementary budget and
extra manpower for the enforcement of the settlement freeze.
Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz, who backed the decision, was
asked to present a budget proposal within three days. Continued:

- TEMPLE INSTITUTE LOOKING FOR THE MESSIAH
- Friday Church News Notes, November 27, 2009, www.wayoflife.org
- The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has spent $27 million preparing
for the coming of the Messiah. They have manufactured utensils
including silver trumpets, golden candlesticks, harps, and garments
for the High Priest woven from golden thread. When asked when
the Messiah will come, Temple Institute director Yehuda Glick
replies, "All that we know is that we are now living in
the age of miracles and all of those miracles are predicted in
the Book as happening on the eve of the end of days. It could
well be tomorrow, but it might be another 100 years, or even
400 years" ("Jews Raise Millions to Be Ready for Coming
of the Messiah," Sydney Morning Herald, Nov. 14, 2009).
The Institute has engaged two architects to design the Third
Temple, "a modern building, with car parks and elevators,
but which will look like the Second Temple." Many "evangelicals"
have contributed to the Temple Institute, but it is a donation
to the cause of the Antichrist more than to the cause of Christ.
It is the Antichrist that will use the temple built by Christ-rejecting
Jews. The modern state of Israel is a fulfillment of the first
half of the prophecy of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37. They have
returned to the land, but there is "no breath in them"
(Ezek. 37:8). They are still in rebellion to God's Law. During
the Great Tribulation, the Jews will be deceived by the Antichrist's
promise of peace and will make a covenant with him. The temple
will be rebuilt, but it will become the Antichrist's sanctuary
when he presents himself as God (Dan. 9:27; Mat. 24:15; 2 Thess.
2:3-4). http://www.wayoflife.org

legal, ethical, environmental and consumer issues surrounding
the troubling changes happening in the food system todaygenetically
engineered foods, patenting, and the corporatization of foodinto
terms the average person can easily understand. It empowers consumers
to understand the consequences of their food choices on our future.
- In 2009 as we take note of where we stand and look toward
the future, the issues raised in The Future of Food are more
pressing than ever. The corporate control of agriculture and
the seed supply is meeting more and more resistance from the
