ISRAEL
- UNREPENTANT VATICAN
by Steven Shamrak - In memory of the Kristallnacht - "Crystal
Night pogroms"
Not long ago, a spokesperson for Pope Benedict XVI said that
the Pope would not visit Israel until a caption attached to a
photo hanging in Yad Vashem of Pope Pius XII, who reigned during
the Holocaust era, was removed. The caption states that Pius
XII "abstained from signing the Allied declaration condemning
the extermination of the Jews" and "maintained his
neutral position throughout the war".
- Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem, stands
by the description and affirms that it has ensured that the presentation
of the subject in the Holocaust History Museum at Yad Vashem
is based on the best research regarding this topic.
- Millions of Christians also died during WW2 including priests
and nuns, but Pope Pius XII did not protest! The Church did not
protest about the genocide of the Roma people or the Nazi hunt
for the members of the 'wicked' Christian denominations.
- The Vatican claims that Pius worked "secretly and silently".
We must be direct and honest about it: Yes, he was silent! Some
assert that the Vatican was actively involved in saving up to
860,000 Jews by establishing an escape network in some countries.
Even if this is true, they disregard the fact that by speaking
out against Nazi policy toward Jews, Pope Pius XII could have
stopped or at least greatly reduced collaboration with Nazis
by the Catholics in Poland, the Baltic region, Ukraine and France,
as well as the co-operation of all Christians in Europe. Without
the local 'assistance' that the Christian population eagerly
provided to the Fascists, or their silence, the Holocaust would
not happened and most Jews in Europe would have survived!
- In addition to physical reduction of the 'unholy' Jewish
population in Europe, the Vatican had another hidden agenda -
'Saving' Jewish souls! For example, it is estimated that in Hungary
alone, up to 80,000 Jews were baptised by the Church authorities.
Most of the time, newly issued baptismal certificates were ignored
by the Nazis and many Jews were killed as 'Christians', at least
in the twisted mind of the Church's statistical bureaucracy.
Conversion of Jews, which the Church is still pursuing since
the end of the Great Inquisition, is another big theological
and moral issue!
- The ugliest part of this saga is that during the last 60
years since the end of WW2, and several pontiffs later, the Vatican
has still not changed its medieval attitude toward Jews. The
Church leadership has shown a high level of contempt for the
main Christian doctrines: "Love your neighbour" and
"Repentance". They are applicable to everything and
anything, as long as it is not about Jews! Ordinary Catholics
must confess their sins, but not the leaders of the Church with
the blood of the fellow Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Africans,
American Indians and Australian Aborigines on their hands, spilled
during the many centuries of Catholic reign and influence.
- Well, with this continuous anti-Israel attitude and the lame
apology made by the Vatican several years ago, who needs another...
Well, unfortunately, there are too many hostile international
hypocrites visiting Israel!

- PEACE DEAL BY YEAR-END NO LONGER POSSIBLE
- Stating the Obvious and still Maliciously Delusional. Secretary
of State Condoleezza Rice all but conceded on Thursday that an
Israeli-Palestinian peace deal by a year-end deadline is no longer
possible. But she also continues her mantra that it is important
to maintain momentum and support for the negotiations. (How long
does it take for an intelligent person to realise that it is
INSANE to keep "doing the same thing and expecting different
results.") And yet, she could not stop herself from saying:
"They are dignified people and I am certain the day is coming
soon when they have a state that will be in accordance with that
great national dignity." Source: http://www.shamrak.com

- HYPOCRISY OF THE "LOADED" HEADLINES
"Israel airstrike imperils Gaza truce with Hamas" -
washingtontimes.com - The fact that IDF was targeting rocket
launchers, which were ready to attack Israeli soldiers and civilians
had no room in a headline! So, who "imperils" the truce'?
And, why did an American newspaper make an attempt to hide the
ugly intentions of Palestinian' terrorists from its readers?
Gaza is Hizballah-style Firing Position.More than 50 Qassam rockets
and 15 mortar shells have hit the western Negev region in Israel
since Wednesday morning, Nov. 5. They were fired from houses
close to the border fence which Hamas had turned into fortified
firing positions. Borrowing Hizballah's tricks from the 2006
Lebanon war, the Hamas firing squads remove the roofs and cover
the top floors with camouflage netting easily removed for attacks.
(This is a direct result of the fake Calm' and politics
of negotiation with terrorists! Maybe now Israel realise that
clearing Gaza of enemies, starting with the demolition of the
Hamas firing positions, is the first step toward peace.) Source:

- HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS TO MORMONS: STOP BAPTISMS OF DEAD JEWS
NEW YORK (AP) Holocaust survivors said Monday they are
through trying to negotiate with the Mormon church over posthumous
baptisms of Jews killed in Nazi concentration camps, saying the
church has repeatedly violated a 13-year-old agreement barring
the practice. Leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints say they are making changes to their massive genealogical
database that will make it more difficult for names of Holocaust
victims to be entered for posthumous baptism by proxy, a rite
that has been a common Mormon practice for more than a century.
- But Ernest Michel, honorary chairman of the American Gathering
of Holocaust Survivors, said that is not enough. At a news conference
in New York City on Monday, he said the church also must implement
a mechanism to undo what you have done.
- Baptism of a Jewish Holocaust victim and then merely
removing that name from the database is just not acceptable,
said Michel, whose parents died at Auschwitz. He spoke on the
70th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Nazi-incited riots against
Jews. We ask you to respect us and our Judaism just as
we respect your religion, Michel said in a statement released
ahead of the news conference. We ask you to leave our six
million Jews, all victims of the Holocaust, alone, they suffered
enough. Source: Holocaust survivors to Mormons: Stop baptisms

- OLMERT: WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LOSE OUR LAND
- By Stan Goodenough - November 11, 2008 - Whoever forms Israel's
government after the February 10 general election will have to
accept the tearing away of many parts of Eretz Yisrael - the
Jews' ancient homeland. So said caretaker Israeli Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert speaking in the Knesset Monday,
- "Any government will have to tell the truth, and that
truth, unfortunately, will require us to tear away many parts
of the homeland, in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.
"We must relinquish Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and
return to that territory which comprised the State of Israel
until 1967," he said.
- Olmert's replacement as chair of the Kadima Party, Foreign
Minister Tzipi Livni, was quick to reject his statement as "irrelevant,"
according to The Jerusalem Post. "As the head of the Kadima
party, I am obligated not to the outgoing words of Olmert, but
to Kadima's platform, which I wrote and which I believe in,"
Livni told Army Radio. Notwithstanding her election-motivated
riposte, Livni has been working very closely with US Secretary
of State Condoleezza Rice as the Bush administration has bulldozed
ahead with its efforts to see Jewish lands used for the creation
of a State of Palestine. The mantra of the Israeli leftists is
that there is no choice, no other way to reach peace than to
give away land.
- This land-for-peace process has been discredited repeatedly
since the Oslo Accords was signed in 1993.
- Since then, every Israeli withdrawal - from Arab parts of
Gaza, from Jericho and other towns throughout Samaria and Judea,
from southern Lebanon and from the entire Gaza Strip - has always
and only been followed by massive spikes in violence and terrorism.
Still, when Israelis say they have no choice, what they really
mean is "the United States gives us no choice." After
every fresh outburst of terrorism since 1993, the US has pressured
Israel to continue with the "peace process," because
not to do so means to "give in to the enemies of peace."

- 'AT LONG LAST', THE ONE WORLD CHURCH IN JERUSALEM
by BARRY CHAMISH - www.barrychamish.com - UNITED NATIONS: Israel's
president had rare praise for Saudi Arabia's king at a U.N. interfaith
conference Wednesday, saying King Abdullah's initiative to
end the Arab-Israeli conflict inspired hope that all countries
in the Middle East could live in peace. Speaking to hundreds
of guests in the General Assembly chamber, where Israel has often
been villified by its Arab neighbors, Shimon Peres appealed to
Abdullah to maintain his leadership in the Arab world during
the difficult peace process. Minutes earlier, Abdullah said it
was "high time" the world learned the harsh lesson
of history that differences between followers of different
religions and cultures "engendered intolerance, causing
devastating wars and considerable bloodshed without any sound
logical or ideological justification." Continued:

HIDDEN AGENDA, GOODWILL GESTURES POLITICAL COURAGE IS NEEDED
- By by Steven Shamrak - www.shamrak.com - September 7, 2008
- American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's visit to Israel
last week will be the 17th time in two years she has visited
the region. Expectations are low that she will succeed in her
newest bid to forge any viable agreement. (The fake peace process
is fostered by the USA and international hypocrisy. It has been
creating an illusion of progress and the possibility of peace
with the enemies of Israel. As a result the ugliness of Islamic
terror, detrimental to the lives of Jews and the future of Israel,
is prolonged. This pretence hinders the implementation of the
actions Israel must take against the terror-infested ideology
and people in order to obtain national integrity and secure the
future of Jewish people!)
- U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says that Prime
Minister Ehud Olmert's freeing of nearly 200 Arab terrorists
the day before was a "good step" but not enough. However,
her only specific suggestions were aimed at Israel. She made
no comments on obligations by the Palestinian Authority (PA)
to fight terror! (Have we seen any 'Goodwill' from the enemies
of the Jewish people?)
- Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas
(Abu Mazen) fulfilled the time-honoured PA tradition of rejecting
any form of peace with Israel last week as soon as nearly 200
convicted terrorists crossed the border into PA territory. "I
promise we won't rest until we bring about the release of all
the prisoners," vowed Abbas in a special welcome ceremony
for the 198 terrorists released by Israel in the latest "goodwill
gesture" (The only way not to have terrorists imprisoned
in Israel's prisons is to end terror and recognise Israel. Is
it too much to ask?)
- Abbas reiterated his intention (as Arafat before him) to
reject peace with Israel, despite numerous security concessions
by the Olmert government. He has said he would accept only an
agreement that includes contiguous land between Gaza, Judea and
Samaria, and with Jerusalem as the capital of the new PA state.
(That means No Israel! The contiguous 'Palestinian' state
can be only established in Sinai. In order to facilitate this
there is a need for political vision, courage and love for their
own people, Jews, on the part of Israeli politicians. No one
else can deliver an end of Islamic terror in Israel but Israel.
Stop looking over your shoulder and do what is right for the
future of your own people! Every other country does!)
- Double Standard of International Hypocrisy: Recent US-led
air strike killed, according to UN and Afghan officials, as many
as 90 civilians. There is not U.N. Security Council emergency
meeting! No international condemnation! What would happen if
mistake like this was made by Israel?
- Food for Thought: by Steven Shamrak
- PA Rejected Peace Again. The PA president Mahmoud Abbas rejected
Olmert's plea of an interim agreement. Abas told Olmert during
talks in Jerusalem that 'Palestinians' "will not be part
of any interim agreement. Either everything will be agreed or
nothing will be agreed" and dismissed the idea of a pact
by the end of this year. ('Peace Process' is just a game for
PA. All Palestine, including Jordan, is the ultimate PA's objective!)
- Never Ending Escalation of Demands. Israel may be willing
to release up to 450 Hamas terrorists from its jails in return
for Cpl. Gilad Shalit. But, Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida said on
Saturday the group would not settle for its earlier demand for
450 Palestinian prisoners, but is seeking the release of more
than 1,000 in exchange for Shalit. (Humiliation of Israel, not
release of the prisoners, is the objective of Hamas!)...
- Is Israel in Africa? Officials from 21 African countries
meeting in Nigeria have adopted a blueprint for a Geneva meeting
on racism next April to raise "concern about the plight
of the 'Palestinian' people under foreign occupations."
(African countries have forsaken the Sudanese genocide in Darfur
and do not want address problems in Uganda and instead use Israel
bashing as a good distracter! The AIDS epidemic, corruption and
poverty are also not their concern. Why Israel is?)
- Olmert's Leaving, But Hold the Celebrations.
- by Rob Muchnick and Tova Abadi, Manhigut Yehudit.
- Before Israelis celebrate the impending exit of the inept
and corrupt Ehud Olmert from the Prime Minister's chair, it should
be understood that there will be no real change in Israel until
there is a leader who will guide Israel with Jewish values and
will put the best interests of the Jewish People ahead of their
own fortunes. It makes no difference if Foreign Minister Tzipi
Livni or Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz head Kadima and
then sit in the Prime Minister's office, as both of these pretenders
have clearly demonstrated their lack of commitment to any ideology
except their political advancement.
- In fact, the situation may go from very, very bad to worst.
Olmert was unable (due to the multitude of corruption charges
against him) to carry out further Israeli concessions. However,
Livni or Mofaz - by benefit of only being ideologically and not
financially corrupt - may have the political capital to continue
the so-called "peace" process which only serves to
tear at the heart of the Jewish people by giving away our Divinely-given
land. Tragically, it also serves to weaken the belief in the
righteousness of our cause by Jews worldwide.
- It is impossible for Israel to survive as a Jewish Nation
when the real war being fought is against Jewish identity. It
is equally impossible to survive with policies of appeasement
and "painful concessions." Israel needs an honest,
moral leader who will act in the best interests of Israel and
the Jewish People and not as a puppet for the nations. http://www.shamrak.com

- PA WANTS LIVINI AND OBAMA
- By Stan Goodenough - October 06, 2008 - The veteran terrorist
Palestine Liberation Organization is hoping for a double whammy
in its favor next month when it hopes Israel will come under
the prime ministership of Kadima Party leader Tzipi Livni and
Americans will put Barack Obama in the White House.
- This is according to the "Palestinian" so-called
foreign minister, Riyad al-Malki, during a conference held at
the Israeli Foreign Ministry Sunday."We hope that [Livni]
will succeed [in forming a new government] because this will
also show continuity and commitment to the peace process and
to the negotiations [for] a Palestinian state," Malki said,
according to the leftist daily Ha'aretz. As for America: "We
are waiting to see who will be the next president, (Barack) Obama
versus [John] McCain, and believe me there is a big difference
between the two vis-a-vis the situation in the Middle East ...
the Middle East peace process and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

- BARACK OBAMA, JEWISH-AMERICAN AND ISRAEL
October 16, 2008 - By: David Bedein - The Philadelphia Bulletin
- From a personal and professional perspective, this is the
sixth American Presidential campaign that I have covered from
Israel, concentrating on the "Israel aspect" of the
story. This time I not only have covered the campaign from Israel
- This time, I was assigned by The [Philadelphia] Bulletin to
fly over and cover the Obama campaign at the time of the Pennsylvania
primary in April. My observation of the "Jewish American
view of Sen. Obama" was that there was an atmosphere of
unreality surrounding Jewish advocacy and Jewish opposition to
Sen. Barack Obama. Both pro-Obama and anti- Obama forces in the
Jewish world related to the senator with an attitude of superficiality,
paying more attention paid to the company that he keeps than
to the policies that he stands for.
- Yet here is the rub: None one has really heard where Sen.
Obama stands on Middle East issues.
- When I interviewed three of Sen. Obama's staffers who specialize
in Middle East issues, I presented them with 18 questions. Besides
the issue of Palestinian incitement, which his staffers said
that he abhors, they could not provide any answers whatsover
to basic questions put forward by The Bulletin last April.
- With the multi-billion dollar arms package to Saudi Arabia
about to reach the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, of
which Sen. Obama is a member, his staffers could not even say
what his position was on arms to Saudi Arabia, which remains
in a state of active war with Israel. Indeed, Saudi Arabia currently
funds Hamas, the Popular Front For The Liberation of Palestine
(PLFP) and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine
(DFLP), all of which are Palestinian terror organizations that
actively engaged in planning operations against the Jewish state

- ARISE, PERES, KNIGHT COMMANDER?
By HERB KEINON AND JONNY PAUL - Oct 24, 2008 - Efforts to have
President Shimon Peres "knighted" during a visit to
London next month may have been set back by premature publication
of the move, Foreign Ministry sources said Thursday. Slideshow:
Pictures of the week Yediot Aharonot, under a headline "Sir
Peres," reported Wednesday that Peres was expected to be
appointed an honorary knight by Queen Elizabeth II in appreciation
of his contribution to peace efforts in the Middle East and to
furthering Israeli-British ties. While admitting that the embassy
in London was working on the issue, the sources said that revealing
these efforts prematurely could lead anti-Israeli forces in Britain
to try to scuttle the idea.
What is at issue is an appointment for Peres as an honorary member
to the Order of St. Michael and St. George. Appointment to this
Order, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica Web site, is
conferred mostly on officials in colonial affairs, foreign-service
officers and diplomats, and others who have performed important
duties in Commonwealth countries. Continued: http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1222017613200&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

- ZIONIST ISRAELIS CHARGE GOVERNMENT MINISTRIES WITH INCITEMENT
- By Stan Goodenough - November 05, 2008 - Rifts continue to
deepen between secular and religious Israelis, with two ministers
in the Ehud Olmert government accused Monday of inciting public
opinion against the Zionists who live in the historic heartland
of the Jewish people.
- The Jerusalem Post reports that "[t]he Committee of
Samaria Settlers is set to file a complaint against Vice Premier
Haim Ramon and National Infrastructures Minister Binymain Ben-Eliezer,
claiming that remarks made by the two during a cabinet meeting
Sunday constituted libel and incitement against the settler community."
During that meeting Ramon, a convicted criminal himself, charged
that the security forces "practiced discrimination and apartheid"
in how they dealt with Arabs and Jews involved in "disturbances"
in Judea and Samaria." Ben-Eliezer said of the overwhelmingly
religious Jews who live in Samaria and Judea: "They don't
think like us; their thoughts are messianic, mystical, satanic
and irrational." He reportedly also called for "a blitz"
(a loaded German word in Jewish ears) against the settlers. Continued:

- STRIKE ON IRAN DEBATED IN WASHINGTON
November 3, 2008 - U.S. lawmakers, think tanks and independent
experts of various political backgrounds are weighing the need
for military strikes on Iranian nuclear sites as well as new
diplomatic alternatives aimed halting disputed elements of the
countrys atomic program, according to a New York Times
commentary today (see GSN, Oct. 31). The United States suspects
that Irans atomic efforts are geared toward weapons development,
but Tehran insists that its nuclear work is strictly aimed at
civilian energy development. The incoming presidential administration
might have little time and fewer options to deal with this
threat, warns a report by the Bipartisan Policy Center.
The analysis examines measures such as a blockade that would
prevent Iran from receiving gasoline, but adds that a military
strike is a feasible option and must remain a last resort.

- VETERAN ZIONIST POLITICIAN MOVES RIGHT
- By Stan Goodenough - November 17, 2008 - A long-serving Israeli
politician and former minister made news Monday with the announcement
that he had decided to leave his political home of 22 years and
moved into the right-wing Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home)
party.
- Uzi Landau, who was a Likud Party Knesset Member for most

- ISRAELI COURT ORDERS JEWS OUT OF HEBRON HOUSE
- By Stan Goodenough - November 17, 2008 - Israelis living
in Hebron and other parts of their nation's biblical and historical
heartland were angered Sunday when Israel's High Court of Justice
ruled in favor of the Olmert government and against Jews claiming
ownership of a Hebron home. According to the ruling, 20 Jewish
families have three days to vacate a four-storey house despite
the fact they have papers proving the property was legally bought
from a Palestinian Arab. Situated about halfway between the Cave
of the Patriarchs (where Israel's founding father's lie buried)
and the Jewish town of Kiryat Arba, the house has been the center
of a dispute since Jews moved in in March 2007. Hebron's overwhelmingly
Muslim Arab population outright rejects the Jews' right to live
in the city, despite its having been the longest-inhabited Jewish
town, with Jews residing there for 3000 years before Arabs massacred
them nearly a century ago.
- After Judea was restored to Jewish control in 1967, Israelis
began moving back into Hebron, triggering frequent expressions
of usually-violent Arab intolerance. Continued:

- By JPOST.COM STAFF AND GIL HOFFMAN - Following a string of
newcomers joining Likud, including former IDF chief of General
Staff Lt.-Gen. Moshe Ya'alon and former science minister Bennie
Begin, three polls showed the party opening up a substantial
lead over Kadima, with Labor continuing to slide. Dahaf poll

just eight.
- The poll projected that Shas would get 11 seats, Yisrael
Beiteinu nine, Meretz seven and Arab parties 11.
- The right-wing Habayit Hayehudi party, formed Tuesday after
the National Religious Party disbanded, would only get six seats,
according to the poll, and the Greens would get three. The poll

- OBAMA FAVORS SAUDI INITIATIVE, DEVIDING JERUSALEM
- News Cheshvan 18, 5769 / November 16, '08 - by Maayana Miskin
- (IsraelNN.com) United States President-Elect Barack Obama will
support the Saudi Initiative for peace between Israel and Arab
nations, the British Sunday Times reported Sunday. Obama told
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, The Israelis
would be crazy not to accept this initiative, according
to the Times. The initiative calls on Israel to withdraw completely
to its 1949 borders in exchange for normalized relations with
Arab League countries. It includes a full retreat from the eastern
half of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount, and from the strategic
Golan Heights in northern Israel. The Saudi Plan has won limited
support from President Shimon Peres, who says it could be used
to launch negotiations. Other senior politicians and defense
officials have dismissed the plan, saying it wold compromise
Israel's security. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister
Ehud Barak, the heads of the Kadima and Labor parties, have not
ruled out the Saudi Initiative completely. However, neither has
expressed willingness to give away the Temple Mount or major
Israeli population centers located east of Israel's 1949 borders.
Approximately 600,000 Israeli citizens live in the areas, including
eastern neighborhoods of Jerusalem, demanded for the PA under
the Saudi plan.
- The plan also calls on Israel to find a solution for the
plight of millions of foreign Arabs who claim descent from those
who fled Israel during the War of Independence. They are considered
refugees by Arab governments and continually have been denied
citizenship in their countries of birth.
- While proponents of the plan have welcomed the plan as a
chance to deal with the refugees without granting them Israeli
citizenship, some Arab leaders have warned that any alternative
to allowing the millions to return to Israel is unacceptable.
PA-based terrorist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad are
among those who insist that every Arab who identifies as a descendant

- Abbas: Retreat or War
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas addressed a letter
to PA Arabs on Saturday saying Israel must retreat to its 1949
borders or face war. The passage of years... will not force
us to abandon or surrender a single inch, of Judea, Samaria
or Jerusalem, Abbas said in the letter, which was published by
PA media. The letter was sent in honor of PA Independence
Day. While the PA does not rule an independent country,
it celebrates independence each year in honor of
the PA having declared itself an independent entity 20 years
ago. (submitted by Ron White)
