- ISRAEL MAY BE FORCED TO APOLOGIZE FOR ITS REBIRTH
- United States-led international efforts to forge a peace
agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs may soon shift
from a focus on extracting Israeli land concessions to pressuring
the Jewish state to publicly apologize for its very existence.
WorldNetDaily Editor Joseph Farah recently wrote for his G2
Bulletin intelligence report that, according to his sources,
Israel is about to come under intense pressure to formally apologize
for what the Arab world calls "al-Nakba" - the "catastrophe"
of Israel's rebirth in 1948 on what had previously been Muslim-controlled
lands.
- Farah notes that this type of shift in peace making policy
was first broached in the August 24 issue of Science magazine
when American researchers concluded that their survey of Israel
and its Arab antagonists showed tangible land concessions on
Israel's part would not be enough to secure peace in the region.
As evidence for their position, the researchers quoted a leading
Hamas official as saying that his group would consider recognizing
and negotiating with Israel if the Jewish state first apologized
for coming into being. Farah pointed out that with the Bush Administration
determined to oversee a final status Israeli-Palestinian peace
deal before the end of its second term, Israel may indeed soon
be asked by its closest ally to beg the Arabs' pardon for its
existence. That, of course, would be detrimental to Israel's
efforts to convince both its own people and the world of its
historical and biblical right to exist.
- SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT
- Palestinians of late are touting a "one state"
solution, which fundamentally implies the obliteration of Israel,
though that is not being made really clear by much of the media.
Why is the one-state solution unacceptable? Honest Reporting
laid it out for us very succintly and clearly: At its most basic
level, the one-state solution denies the right of Jews to self-determination
in their historical homeland and calls into question the very
legitimacy of Israel as a state. A bi-national state would have
the same consequence as the "right of return" - the
negation of Israel as a Jewish state. Palestinians, by virtue
of a higher birthrate, would turn Jews into a minority before
voting in favor of another Muslim Arab state in place of Israel.
The one-state solution is therefore simply a thinly veiled strategy
for destroying the State of Israel and questioning its right
to exist. As Sol Stern and Fred Siegel have written in the New
York Sun: The "one state" solution is a euphemism for
the destruction of the Jewish state - a trope of the most extreme
rejectionist elements within the Palestinian movement and their
allies in Syria and Iran. Terrorist groups such as Hamas and
Hezbollah want to create an Islamic Republic in place of Israel.

Dershowitz adds:
- The one-state solution proposal now being made by Palestinian
lawyers and some anti-Israel academics is nothing more than a
ploy. It is designed to destroy the Jewish state of Israel and
to substitute another Islamic Arab state. Those who advocate
the single state solution would never do so with regard to India,
the former Yugoslavia, or other previously united states which
have now been divided on ethnic or religious grounds.
- On a practical level, a one-state solution is simply unworkable.
As Palestinian columnist Ray Hanania writes very accurately:
the two-state solution will always be the only option because
the premise of "one state" where Christians, Muslims
and Jews can live side-by-side and with equality, is fundamentally
flawed. It is a fallacy that can never be achieved not just because
Israelis won't support it. The Arab and Islamic World don't practice
it. Exactly where do Jews and Christians live in the Islamic
World today side-by-side with equality? We don't even live side-by-side
with equality in the Palestinian Diaspora.
- The one-state solution is also proposed by those who refer
to Israel as an "apartheid" state. Drawing upon this
comparison, the example of post-apartheid South Africa is held
up as a model for a bi-national Israeli-Palestinian state. However,
former anti-apartheid activist Benjamin Pogrund explains in detail,
examining issues of economy, religion, third-party intervention,
political culture, violence and leadership, why the South African
model does not fit the Israeli-Palestinian situation.
While there are those who advocate a one-state solution as a
means to destroy Israel, they are also aided by naive idealists.
But, in a world where ethnically mixed states such as Yugoslavia
have broken down in bloodshed, and Muslim states such as Saudi
Arabia claim Muslim Arab exclusivity, why does the only Jewish
state have to be the test case for a far-fetched utopian experiment?
Why is Jewish self-determination in a state of their own illegitimate?

- (AP) By Reuters - January 11, 2008 - Blair: Terms of peace
deal must ensure Israel's security. Middle East peace envoy Tony
Blair said on Friday he believed a deal could be clinched between
the Israelis and the Palestinians before U.S. President George
W. Bush leaves office in January 2009, but emphasized that any
agreement reached would have to guarantee Israel's security.
- His comments came after Bush, in his first visit to Israel
and the West Bank in seven years as president, on Thursday pushed
the two sides for a treaty to be signed within a year to create
a Palestinian state.
- "Sure, it is absolutely possible to have a peace deal
by the end of the year if people want to make it happen,"
the former British prime minister told British reporters after
meeting Bush on the American leader's visit to Jerusalem.
But, injecting a note of caution, he said to achieve peace, those
involved had to be prepared "to have the courage to take
the difficult decisions to make the difficult compromises."
Blair, peace envoy to the Middle East quartet, said: "Given
the determination there is to succeed and given the desire on
the part of the American leadership, the Israeli leadership,
the Palestinian leadership to see it happen, I think people could
be surprised this year." "People in Israel - they don't
want to pay the price of the world's desire to have a peace deal,
and I totally understand that and I am a strong supporter of
the state of Israel, and this should only happen under terms
which guarantee Israel's security. "But if we can achieve
those terms and give the Palestinian people a state, then I think
there is nothing more important in the battle against... extremism
and terrorism that is fairly deep-rooted in many parts of the

- Friday Church News Notes - December 7, 2007 - Ehud Olmert,
Prime Minister of Israel, has warned
that failure to negotiate a "two-state" solution with
the Palestinians would spell "the end of the State of Israel"
("Olmert Warns," BBC News, Nov 29, 2007). He said this
while returning to Israel from the George Bush-sponsored talks
with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in the United States. Olmert's
statement reminds us of the fact that, according to Bible prophecy,
Israel will negotiate a peace agreement with the Antichrist one
of these days, and she is ready to do it right now! Jesus warned,
"I am come in my Father's
name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own
name, him ye will receive" (John 5:43). "For when they
shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon
them, as travail upon a

- ISRAEL US REPORT ON IRAN MAY SPARK WAR

- Israel's public security minister warned Saturday that a U.S.
intelligence report that said Iran is no longer developing nuclear
arms could lead to a regional war that would threaten the Jewish
state. In his remarks - Israel's harshest criticism yet of the
U.S. report - Avi Dichter said the assessment also cast doubt
on American intelligence in general, including information about
Palestinian security forces' crackdown on militant groups. The
Palestinian action is required as part of a U.S.-backed renewal
of peace talks with Israel this month. Dichter cautioned that
a refusal to recognize Iran's intentions to build weapons of
mass destruction could lead to armed conflict in the Middle East.
He compared the possibility of such fighting to a surprise attack
on Israel in 1973 by its Arab neighbors, which came to be known
in Israel for the Yom Kippur Jewish holy day on which it began.
"The American misconception concerning Iran's nuclear weapons
is liable to lead to a regional Yom Kippur where Israel will
be among the countries that are threatened," Dichter said
in a speech in a suburb south of Tel Aviv, according to his spokesman,
Mati Gil. "Something went wrong in the American blueprint
for analyzing the severity of the Iranian nuclear threat."
- Dichter didn't elaborate on the potential scenario but seemed
to imply that a world that let its guard down regarding Iran
would be more vulnerable to attack by the Islamic regime. Israeli
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert had disputed the U.S. intelligence
assessment this month, saying that Iran continues its efforts
to obtain components necessary to produce nuclear weapons. Tehran
still poses a major threat to the West and the world must stop
it, Olmert said. Israel has for years been warning that Iran
is working on nuclear weapons and backed the United States in
its international efforts to exert pressure on Iran to stop the
program. Israel considers Iran a significant threat because of
its nuclear ambitions, its long-range missile program and repeated
calls by its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for the disappearance
of Israel. Iran says its nuclear program is for purely peaceful
purposes. Israel will work to change the American intelligence
agencies' view of Iran, said Dichter, a former chief of Israel's
Shin Bet secret service agency.
- "A misconception by the world's leading superpower is
not just an internal American occurrence," Dichter said.
Any future faulty U.S. intelligence on the actions of Palestinian
security forces could damage peace efforts, Dichter said. "Those
same (intelligence) arms in the U.S. are apt to make a mistake
and declare that the Palestinians have fulfilled their commitments,
which would carry with it very serious consequences from Israel's

- WHY THE CHRISTIAN LEFT IS WRONG

to be heating up as the world paves a road to a two-state solution
to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The American religious Left
has felt compelled to issue a series of documents slanted toward
the Arab and Palestinian points of view, urging the powers that
be to muscle Israel to accede to demands that will place Israelis
in a virtually untenable position regarding their future security.
Signatories to these documents propose that they speak for the
majority of evangelical Christians and, therefore, are in a position
to pontificate on the direction the United States and other Western
powers should take in
- (1) determining the future shape of the new Middle East and
- (2) correcting what they claim are the egregious malefactions
of the Israeli government and its friends in the Zionist evangelical
camp. Their criticisms are based on the concept that Israel's
day is over, both biblically and historically. Consequently,
Israelis have no more right to the land than their Muslim/Arab

US National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iran's nuclear intentions
is the political version of a tactical nuclear strike on efforts
to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear bombs. The NIE begins
with the sensationalist opening line: "We judge with high
confidence that in fall 2003, Teheran halted its nuclear weapons
program." But the rest of the report contradicts the lead
sentence. For instance, the second line says, "We also assess
with moderate-to-high confidence that Teheran at a minimum is
keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons." Indeed,
contrary to that earth-shattering opening, the NIE acknowledges
that the Iranians have an active nuclear program and that they
are between two and five years away from nuclear capabilities.
The NIE's final sentence: "We assess with high confidence
that Iran has the scientific, technical and industrial capacity
eventually to produce nuclear weapons if it decides to do so,"
only emphasizes that US intelligence agencies view Iran's nuclear
program as a continuous and increasing threat rather than a suspended

nuclear military power, Israel attacks the sites housing that
country's nuclear program, it could find itself on a collision
course with Russia. This possibility emerged Monday amid reports
that Russia had delivered what an unnamed Iranian official called
a "first batch" of 82 tons of nuclear fuel to the Iranian
plant at Bushehr. According to the Israeli daily Ha'aretz, Russia
announced its intention to supply the fuel just days after the
publication of a US National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) which
concluded that Iran had stopped trying to build a nuclear bomb
four years ago. Hailed as a victory by Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, the NIE report led to an immediate evaporation of
the international pressure on Iran to end its quest for nuclear
arms, leaving Israel standing alone against the threat.

George W. Bush said he supported Russia's supplying of the nuclear
fuel because it removed any reason the Iranians might have for
continuing to enrich its own uranium. But Israeli officials are

- As a Zionist Muslim clergyman and a friend of the Jewish people,
I cannot keep silent. I feel a moral urge to declare that the
nations of the world are once again preparing bad days for the
Jewish people. A US Administration, which pays lip service to
a supposed "war on terror," is ready to bow to Saudi-funded
Islamist terror and to accept the Saudi diktat compelling Jews
to withdraw from the Land of Israel. The Jewish people are at
risk of getting restricted by order of its American "friends,"
ever closer to what Abba Eban used to call "the Auschwitz
borders."
- People are rarely satisfied with their politicians, and the
case of contemporary Israelis is no different. Most of them feel
betrayed by both leftist politicians who try to introduce surrender
to Abu Mazen as a "step toward peace," and by reputed
nationalist politicians who declare they oppose Jewish deportation
from Judea and Samaria, but who do not move a inch to prevent
it. The more time passes, the more moral leadership of the Jewish
people at home is restricted to a powerless minority. The nightmare
of Oslo returned and became even darker in Annapolis. That was
the reason for the recent creation in Jerusalem of the New Jewish
Congress, a federation of different authentic Zionist groups
and organizations, blessed by the New Sanhedrin and by the most
authoritative Israeli rabbis, and supported by 30% of concerned
secular Israelis. I regretted being unable to attend the founding
session, held in Jerusalem, Israel, on November 27, but I was
thankful to Allah the Most High for giving me the opportunity
to thank Prof. Hillel Weiss for the honor of the invitation and
to send the participants my greetings.
- I was glad to have been given the opportunity to reiterate
that the territories of Judea and Samaria are the home Allah
granted to the Jewish people, and that any attempt to steal them
from their legitimate owners is a declaration of war against
a Divine decree. In my humble view, each of my Jewish brothers
and sisters is morally obligated to struggle for the integrity
of the Land of Israel, in order to ease the task of the Jewish
people to be a "light unto the nations" and to pave
the way for Redemption.

and will not be crushed even today, despite the attempts of Arab
dictators, the American politicians who cave in to their demands,
and the corrupt Israeli politicians who bowed down in submission
in Annapolis. One might easily envision that the nightmare that
began in Oslo will now reach its most terrific level, with a
possible ascendancy of Hamas gangsters over the areas to be vacated
by Israel, including even Jerusalem. President George Bush claims
he reads the Bible daily, but seems to forget that it is written
there that the Land of Israel is G-d's gift to the Children of
Israel, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It was not
given to anyone else, including the descendants of Ishmael, since
they received plenty of territory in other locations. Even so,
whoever attempts to steal any of the Divine inheritance of the
Jewish people declares war not only on a particular nation, but
on G-d and His decree. As long as the US stood up for the rights
of Israel in her land, Allah rewarded them with a flow of abundance
and blessings, while the Soviet Empire - which denied the national
rights of the Jewish people - was canceled from maps. Now, the
risk is that the US Administration wants to emulate the Soviet
Union. I pray for a new US Administration, more respectful of

Laden is presented today as 'Breaking News' by the Jewish Telegraph
Agency.* According to JTA, 'Osama bin Laden vows to destroy Israel',
and JAT writes that the fugitive Al-Qaida leader issued a voice
recording today, Saturday 30 December 2007, ''in which he came
out against Palestinian and other Arab leaders who have recognized
the Jewish state.''
- According to many sources* however, Osama bin Laden has been
dead for many years (16 December 2001) and bin Laden has - as
long as he lived - publicly denied having a role in September
11. He correctly kept saying until his last days that the US
'multinational government' - the US/UK financial cartel supported
by its collaborators and the Israeli secret service Mossad -
was to blame for the 9/11 drama. And even in the US the FBI also
confirmed 'they had no hard evidence' against bin Laden concerning
9/11. That's not strange, because - as most thinking people know
- the 9/11 massacre was an 'inside job' by the US/UK junta.*
Anybody not convinced of this, should proof to thousands of US
american and global scientists, diplomats, other experts and
journalists and/or demolition technicians, why the Law of Nature

- Osama bin Laden may not be desperate, but a new 56-minute tape
shows he is losing ground in Iraq and trying to appeal to other
Muslims in the region, said U.S. Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Holland.
U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra"The Muslim radicals who are not
predisposed to violence, they have some real problems with al-Qaida,"
Hoekstra said Sunday. "They are divided about what al-Qaida
is doing in the Middle East, partly because a lot of the victims
have been Muslim." Hoekstra, the top Republican on the House
Intelligence Committee, expects to review the latest Osama bin
Laden tape, released Saturday, once it is translated into English.
Reports show, however, that bin Laden has vowed to expand his
terror group's holy war to Israel. Most of the tape dealt with
Iraq, apparently al-Qaida's latest attempt to keep supporters
in Iraq unified while the U.S. military claims to have them on
the run. The tape did not mention Pakistan or the assassination
of Benazir Bhutto, although Pakistan's government has blamed
al-Qaida and the Taliban for her death Thursday. But bin Laden's
comments offered an unusually direct attack on Israel, which
has warned of growing al-Qaida activity in Palestinian territory.
- The terror network is not believed to have taken a strong
role there so far. "We intend to liberate Palestine, the
whole of Palestine from the (Jordan) river to the sea,"
bin Laden said, threatening blood for blood, destruction for
destruction. Hoekstra said he was not particularly surprised
by the tape. "(Al-Qaida) is clearly losing in Iraq. The
recent attacks in Algeria and the assassination of Benazir Bhutto
were likely part of the campaign to destabilize moderate Islamic
states, and bin Laden is likely emphasizing the destruction of
Israel now because it will resonate better with Muslims sympathetic
to the Palestinians. Al-Qaida is struggling to regain momentum
after recent setbacks in Iraq," he said. Hoekstra said bin
Laden is losing support of Sunni Arab tribal leaders in Iraq.
Some have joined a coalition to fight insurgents linked to al-Qaida.
"This shift among Sunni tribal leaders is a real shift,"
Hoekstra said. "Bin Laden has been saying for the last five
years very clearly what his strategy is. That focus has always
been on Iraq," he said. "He thought if he bloodied
our nose, we would go away. That hasn't happened."

to be about love, not hypocrisy?) on Wednesday in which he rejected
Israel as a Jewish state. Speaking in English and Arabic, Sabbah
told reporters that Israel must abandon its Jewish character
in favour of a "normal state for Christians, Muslims, and
Jews." "If there's a state of one religion, other religions
are naturally discriminated against," Sabbah said. Being
a PA Arab, he did not mention the PA's definition of its areas
as Arab and Muslim. He blamed Israel for the conflict with the
PA and defended PA-based terrorist groups, saying, "If Israel
