- A SHIP FLYING US COLORS AND INSPIRED BY PRESIDENT BARACK
OBAMA'S BOOK "AUDACITY OF HOPE" WILL BE JOINING THIS
YEAR'S FREEDOM FLOTILLA 2
- by Gavriel Queenann June 2, 2011 - Israel news A ship flying
US colors and carrying 34 passengers is set to joint this year's
Gaza-bound, IHH-sponsored Freedom Flotilla 2 in June,
the New York Times reported.
- So-called peace activists on the first IHH flotilla
in May 2010 ambushed Israeli naval commandos who boarded the
ship in accordance with international law, attempted to take
them captive, and seriously injuring several. The commandos were
forced to kill nine aggressors in order to rescue their imperiled
comrades.
- This year's American vessel, named The Audacity of Hope after
US President Barack Obamas best-selling book, is being
organized by an American group called US Boat to Gaza.
- Obama links to the Audacity do not end there, however. Prof.
Rashid Khalidi, director of the Middle East Institute at Columbia
Universitys School of International and Public Affairs,
and a friend from Obamas time in Chicago, is among the
supporters of an appeal launched by the group last week. Continued:

- APARTHEID IN ISRAEL
Nowhere else in the world is there anything of this kind. When
the White South African government drew up "Apartheid"
plans in the 1970s, a pattern existed already in the Israeli
occupied territories -- and those "Bantustans" are
now gone. Beyond the maps, the Israelis enforce a regime of colored
and computerized passes that restrict where Palestinians can
go, different color license plates for Jews and Arabs have a
similar result, "by-pass" roads for "Jews only",
land confiscations, home destructions, settlements, all on top
of a deceptive and complicated systems of apartheid-type laws
that create systematic separation while promoting Jewish interests
and severely repressing and dispossessing Palestinians. The changes
agreed to recently in the "Wye Memorandum" do not alter
these overall conditions and are hedged with so many Israeli
restrictions that the situation for Palestinians is likely to
worsen.
The majority of Palestinians are essentially imprisoned in a
large Gaza Ghetto from which they are unable to leave and which
is now surrounded by a barbed wire, electrified fence.
- Most others are now bottled up in one of the "autonomous"
population centers, all of which are surrounded by Israeli check-points
and roadblocks. Millions more Palestinians continue to live in
dozens of refugee camps in neighboring countries or in diaspora.
And even if the territorial aspects of "Wye" were fully
implimented, Palestinians would still have "autonomous"
control of less than 20% of the 1967 occupied territories (less
than 7% of 1947 Palestine), and all the "autonomous"
areas would remain totally surrounded by the Israeli army giving
them the actual status of Bantustans or Reservations, and certainly
not sovereignty.
Since 1967, the Israelis have continually expanded Jerusalem,
claiming it is not part of the West Bank, and thus not including
it in the inflated percentages that are used to make it seem
the Palestinians are "getting back" more than than
is actually true.
Even this map doesn't reveal the full extent of how Israelis
have recently expanded Jerusalem nearby settlements, and still
further to encompass the city of Ma'ale Adunim, the green some
area on the extreme right.
All of the above says nothing of the apartheid that exists in
Israel between the self-styled Jews and Semitic Israelites
descended from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
- These activities plus the stealing of Palestine from its
traditional Israelite and Palestinian owners by non-Semitic,
anti-Semitic, Gentile self-styled "Jews", like the
Zionist Irgun and Stern gangs who terrorised and massacred them
in the campaign to establish the Israeli state, would be regarded
as "hate crimes" by the Anti-Defamamation League of
the B'nai B'rith and other arms of the "Jew's" mishpucka
(allegedly linked to drugs, laundering of money, political bribery,
murder, assassinations of political figures such the late John
F. Kennedy, Olaf Palme and Herrhausen), at any other time - or
in any other place.
The most compelling evidence that can be drawn from all the evidence
of history is that the City of London, - which created "Israel"
- , never meant "Israel" to be a "homeland for
the Jews". Like Yugoslavia, and Chechynya, Israel is a barricade
across the potential development land corridor linking Asia,
Europe and Africa. Like Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, Athens, and
Babylon before it, London still holds the strings of the "geopolitical
power game". The question arises whether the "coming
crash" will replicate the destruction wreaked by the Mongols
in the Thirteenth Century directed from Venice, or that caused
by the French Revolution which was directed from Venice on the
Thames?
God accomplishes His purposes not by the might or power of man,
and "all things work together for good to those who love
God; who are 'the called', according to His purpose". And
144,000 genuine blood Israelites will be called from among the
tiny number who are true descendants of the Patriarchs living
with the mixed multitude in Israel today through the Message
of two Hebrew prophets during Daniel's Seventieth Week. maps1.htm

- FIRST TIME: TEMPLE MOUNT PRIESTLY BLESSING ON JERUSALEM DAY
- by Hillel Fendel - Published: 06/02/11, 3:02 PM Israel National
News - Hundreds of religious Jews from all streams were able
to happily commemorate the 44th anniversary of the first-ever
entry of Israeli soldiers onto the TempleMount. For the first
time in the history of Israeli restrictions on Jewish entry to
the Temple Mount, the recitation of the Priestly Blessing was
permitted there. It happened on Wednesday, Jerusalem Reunification
Day, when hundreds of visitors all of whom immersed in
a mikveh (ritual bath) prior to coming and took other precautions
required by Jewish Law were allowed to enter the Temple
Mount in groups of 30-40.
- Among them were several Cohanim (descendants of Aharon the
Priest). They spread their hands in the customary manner and
recited, May G-d bless and watch over your
May G-d
shine His countenance upon and show you grace
May G-d raise
His countenance towards you and grant you peace (Numbers
6, from the portion to be read aloud this week in synagogues
throughout the Jewish world). Continued: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/144701

- GOING BACK TO THE BIBLE
- Op-ed: With many of our PR tactics failing, lets use
Bible to reinforce our right for this land
- Avi Rath Published: 06.02.11, 11:20 / Israel Opinion - While
facing the nations of the world, the State of Israels public
relations officials tried everything, ranging from the security
argument, through the narrow borders and all the way to the strategic
threat. Yet its not working and remains unconvincing. When
we adopt this kind of PR, the world tries to come up with solutions
to the security problem: Utilizing satellites, cameras, electronic
fences, multinational forces, demilitarized zones and all sorts
of other creative notions.
We tried PR strategies premised on various arguments. We made
use of the Holocaust, the expulsion from Spain, the Crusades
and anti-Semitism. We enlisted all the blood libels to the cause
in an effort to prove our righteousness, yet it hasnt worked
either. In fact, we have seen the opposite effect. Suddenly we
discover that not only Turkey boycotts us, but also Scotland,
not to mention the British academic boycott and all sorts of
other such moves.

ISRAEL ON HIGH ALERT FOR BORDER UNREST

the 1967 borders. (AP Photo - Dan Balilty) DANIELLA CHESLOW -
From Associated Press - June 05, 2011 1:44 AM EDT - MAJDAL SHAMS,
Golan Heights (AP) Thousands of Israeli security forces mobilized
for possible border unrest Sunday as Palestinians marked the
anniversary of the Arab defeat in the 1967 Mideast war and Israel's
occupation of Arab land.
- Borders with Syria, Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and the West
Bank were quiet in the early morning, and over the weekend, Palestinians
in Syria and Lebanon canceled plans to march to their frontiers
with Israel.
- But Israel wasn't taking any chances after thousands of Arab
protesters surged to Israel's borders with Syria, Lebanon, the
Gaza Strip and the West Bank last month on another key anniversary,
Israel's 1948 creation. Hundreds breached a porous border fence
at the time and entered a border village in the Golan Heights,
which Israel captured from Syria in 1967. Fifteen people died
in border clashes with Israeli and possibly Lebanese security
forces. Since that May 15 confrontation, Israel has fortified
its northern frontier with trenches and landmines.
- The military wouldn't release troop deployment details Sunday.
Soldiers stationed along the border fence said the northern Golan
had been declared a closed military zone. Continued:

CONGRESS CONSIDERS LIMITING UN AID IF STATEHOOD GRANTED
By HILARY LEILA KRIEGER - Jun 17, 2011 15 Sivan, 5771 - JPOST
CORRESPONDENT - 06/07/2011
- If int'l body recognizes a Palestinian state in September,
the US should cancel funding of the UNGA, resolution by top congressman
proposes. WASHINGTON A top congressman has drafted a resolution
that calls on the US to withhold contributions to the UN if the
international body recognizes a Palestinian state. The measure
declares that the US secretary of state should cancel American
funding for the UN General Assembly if the GA adopts a
resolution in favor of recognizing a state of Palestine outside
of or prior to a final status agreement negotiated between, and
acceptable to, the State of Israel and the Palestinians.
- Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Foreign
Affairs Middle East subcommittee, introduced the nonbinding measure
on Friday and so far has no co-sponsors.
- But other members are discussing whether Congress should
use its control of the governments purse strings to take
a more concrete stand against any UN recognition of Palestinian
statehood.
- Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Florida), chairwoman of the House
Foreign Affairs Committee, has publicly voiced support for leveraging
UN funds to further US policy interests, including preventing
a unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood. Continued:

- THE SHOFAR-BLOWER IS ARRIVING
David Wilder - June 14, 2011 - See photos and video at:http://www.hebron.com/english/gallery.php?id=415
- [Ednote: Many expect the Rapture to happen at Rosh HaShana
because God held true to the Old Testament with events that involved
Jesus on certain Feasts. I was told that believers would hear
a Shofar in their spirit, a sound that was used at weddings to
identify that the Rapture is at hand. Joshua 6:5 "And it
shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the
ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the
people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city
shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every
man straight before him." Psalms 47:5 "God is gone
up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet."
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 "For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and
with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."]
- "... Eyal's wife of about 20 years, Einat, told of Eyal's
passing. "Eliyahu (Elijah) the prophet, was Eyal's favorite
prophet. He read about him over and over. On Thursday, after
I read to him the verses describing how Elihayu left this world,
he said to me, "I'm not on the level of Eliyahu, but that's
the way I feel."
On Shabbat afternoon he told me, "we are not separated.
We will always be together, I'm just moving up one floor."
Later, after Shabbat, he tried to tell me something, but couldn't
talk. He motioned with his arm, and I realized he wanted someone
to study Torah with him, to pray with him. I called one of his
friends, and when he came over and started recited Torah and
prayers, Eyal's eyes opened and he radiated with joy. Later,
we were all there in the room. I called a righteous doctor, who
could discern the exact moment of the soul's departure from the
body. He sat opposite Eyal, staring at his eyes. Eyal's face
and eyes emanated rapture, seeing the angels awaiting him, above
him. He had said that he did not fear death, that he was totally
at peace with his situation, and so it was. Suddenly the doctor
yelled, "Shema Yisrael" and then all those present
did so, and you could actually see his neshama, his soul, leave
his body. We weren't crying, it was a moment of Divine exaltation."
Last Rosh HaShana eve, following services, I went over to Eyal's
house to wish him a happy New Year. His kids told me that he
wasn't home, that he'd gone to Ma'arat HaMachpela to pray. I
told them that if he wanted, there would be prayer services at
Beit Hadassah the next morning. But they said that he'd worship
again at Machpela.
The next morning, despite his illness and weakness, he was there.
But he didn't only pray. He also trumpeted the Shofar, the ram's
horn, blown every Rosh HaShana. The shofar isn't blown once.
Rather, one hundred times. The laws concerning this special mitzvah
are detailed and intricate. Many times, if the sound produced
is not exactly right, it must be repeated.
Eyal stood and blew the shofar, on the first day, one hundred
times. And he blew the Shofar again, on the second day of Rosh
HaShana, one hundred times. And he did not make one mistake,
on either day. Not one time did he have to repeat himself. And
the sound that he produced from that ram's horn, I've never heard
anything like it in my life. So it was, Eyal, sick with cancer,
less than a year ago.
Not yet forty-one, nine children, and one grandchild, born less
than a month ago.
I have no doubt whatsoever, that as Eyal's neshama, as his soul
left his body, in the heaven's above, hundreds and thousands
of ram's horns began trumpeting, with a voice heard, above them
all, "the Shofar-blower from Hebron, the Shofar-blower from
Ma'arat HaMachpela is arriving. The Shofar-blower is arriving.
Let us all go greet the shofar-blower from Hebron."
Next Rosh HaShana will not be the same.
Eyal will be sorely missed, for many many years to come.

ISRAEL BEGINS REMOVING PART OF WEST BANK BARRIIER
ARON HELLER, Associated Press THE ASSOCIATED PRESS STATEMENT
OF NEWS VALUES AND PRINCIPLES
- Jun. 26, 2011 1:10 PM ET A Palestinian worker cuts barbed
wire as he removes an old part of a section of Israel's separation
barrier between the outskirts of the West Bank village of Bilin,
near Ramallah, and the Jewish settlement of Modiin Illit, Sunday,
June 26, 2011. Israel on Sunday began tearing down a section
of its contentious West Bank separation barrier near a village
that has come to symbolize Palestinian opposition to the enclosure,
the military said. The rerouting marks a major victory for the
residents of Bilin and the international groups that have backed
its struggle. NAALIN CROSSING, West Bank (AP) Israel on
Sunday began tearing down a section of its contentious West Bank
separation barrier near a village that has come to symbolize
Palestinian opposition to the enclosure, the military said.
- The rerouting marked a major victory for the residents of
Bilin and the international groups that have backed their struggle.
But they said it fell short of their demands to remove the structure
from the village altogether and vowed to continue with their
weekly protests.
- The dismantling of the section near the village of Bilin
comes four years after Israel's Supreme Court ordered it torn
down, rejecting the military's argument that the route was necessary
to secure the nearby Modiin Illit settlement. Planning and legal
wrangling held up its removal until now.
- Col. Saar Tzur, the regional brigade commander, said the
military has begun taking apart a 2-mile (3.2- kilometer) stretch
of the barrier and has replaced it with a 1.6 mile-long (2.7
kilometer) wall adjacent to the settlement. He said the new route
would give the military less response time in case of a potential
infiltration.

IRAN CAN PRODUCE NUKE WITHIN 2 MONTHS
- Airstrikes can no longer stop nuclear program, US can do
nothing short of military occupation, says report
- Yitzhak Benhorin Published: 06.06.11, 09:04 / Israel News
The Iranian regime is closer than ever before to creating a nuclear
bomb, according to RAND Corporation researcher Gregory S. Jones.
At its current rate of uranium enrichment, Tehran could have
enough for its first bomb within eight weeks, Jones said in a
report published this week. He added that despite reports of
setbacks in its nuclear program, the Iranian regime is steadily
progressing towards a bomb. Unfortunately, Jones says, there
is nothing the US can do to stop Tehran, short of military occupation.

- GREECE ARRESTS CAPTAIN OF US GAZA-BOUND BOAT AT AL JAZEERA
02 Jul 2011 16:16 - Officers detain captain of US ship bound
for Gaza over ship's "seaworthiness" and for jeopardising
passengers' safety.
The captain of a US ship bound for Gaza has been arrested by
Greek authorities for a felony after being brought before a prosecutor,
activists have told Al Jazeera.
- The boat, which is part of a Freedom Flotilla aiming to break
Israel's blockage of the Palestinian territory, set sail on Friday

said the captain was being held in police custody and is due
to appear in court on Tuesday.

- Greece's coast guard said on Saturday that the captain of
the "Audacity of Hope" faces charges of trying to leave
port without permission and of endangering the lives of the boat's
passengers.
- Adam Shapiro, an International Flotilla committee organiser,
speaking from Athens, told Al Jazeera: "The captain has
been charged with a felony. Initially it [the charge] was a misdemeanour,
but it has been upgraded to a felony."

- "The ship itself is currently in a naval compound, where
it is being detained," Shapiro said.
- "This is totally a political manoeuvre, nothing illegal
about his mission. This has been orchestrated by the Israeli
government and probably the US government," Hirschmann said.
- "We are being tied up in all types of administrative
deals."
- Some of the passengers on the US ship have remained on board
in solidarity with the jailed captain, Shapiro said.
- On June 24, an anonymous complaint was filed against the
ship's "seaworthiness". The Israel Law Centre (Shurat
