- MOSAIC - CH 9410 LINK May 30, 2003- SHARON STATED AGAIN:
ISRAEL WILL NEVER LET GO OF JERUSALEM.. Again Jerusalem is becoming
the issue of contention.
-
- WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration has prepared
a list of sanctions against Israel should it refuse to comply
with a plan for a Palestinian state by the end of the year.
- U.S. government and congressional sources said the list was
prepared by the State Department and relayed to the National
Security Council in April amid the administration's effort to
press Israel to agree to the so-called roadmap. The roadmap,
drafted by Washington as well as the European Union, United Nations
and Russia, calls for an end to the Israeli-Palestinian war and
the establishment of an interim state in 2003.
- The sources said the State Department's proposed list of
sanctions included an examination of the use of U.S. weapons
in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Israel has employed such platforms
as the AH-64A Apache helicopter, the AH-1G Cobra helicopter and
the F-16 fighter-jet in air attacks on Palestinian insurgents.
- "It's hard to overestimate the anger within the administration
toward Israel regarding the delays in the roadmap," a congressional
source close to the administration said. "The White House
doesn't regard the roadmap merely as foreign policy. It sees
the roadmap as a major element toward the reelection of the president."

- US COMPILED LIST OF PUNITIVE ACTIONS AGAINST ISRAEL FOR NONCOMPLIANCE
- On May 22, President Bush literally "ordered" Prime
Minister Sharon to push through Cabinet acceptance of the "Road
Map", which envisions a side-by-side Palestinian State with
Israel. The Palestinians currently control 42% of the land of
tiny Israel, and it is likely they will control that amount of
land in the final draft. Just to ensure that Sharon got the message,
President Bush ordered $10 billion in US loan guarantees frozen
until Israel complied, and reportedly compiled a long list of
punitive actions he could take against Israel if it did not back
this most terrible "Peace Plan"...
- Yassir Arafat is the king of terrorism! He no more deserves
to be rewarded with a state than Adolf Hitler deserved to stay
in power! The way in which President Bush is trying to get around
this issue is by saying he is bypassing Arafat and dealing only
with the new Palestinian Prime Minister, Mahmoud Abbas. However,
a story appeared on May 20 that told the truth of the matter:
Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas are friends and loyal to one another.
..
- The fact is, Bible prophecy boldly states that the entire
population of the Palestinians is going to be annihilated, and
Israel is giving every indication she plans to do just that!
But, annihilating an entire population -- man, woman, child --
is a shocking act. In fact, it is so shocking that a nation contemplating
it must first thoroughly prepare the peoples of the world, and
the international community, to accept such a draconian measure!
A very long time of discrediting the targeted people must occur
so that when they are annihilated, the average citizen from nations
around the globe will simply shrug their shoulders and say, "They
had it coming".
- Are we at this point now? Is this prophecy the reason President
Bush and Prime Minister Sharon are intent upon creating a Palestinian
State, even though no one wants it, least of all the Palestinians?
I believe it likely this is the case. http://www.cuttingedge.org/newsletters/

- WASHINGTON'S BETRAYAL
- :: The Jerusalem Post by Caroline B. Glick, May 30, 2003
- "From the beginning of May until last Tuesday, the Palestinians
carried out 323 terrorist attacks against Israeli targets. That
is an average of 12 per day. These attacks include suicide bombings,
penetrations of Israeli towns by gunmen, roadside shootings,
grenade and anti-tank missile attacks, mortar shellings, rocket
attacks, assaults, and stabbings...
- :: With all this taking place before our eyes, the government
Sunday agreed to accept the Quartet's road map plan for the swift
establishment of a Palestinian state. Unbelievably, the cabinet
ministers who voted in favor of the road map stated that they
were doing so even though the plan is antithetical to Israel's
national interests. Naively, they excused their behavior by mentioning
that the Bush administration has agreed to consider Israel's
qualifications to its agreement during the implementation stages
of the plan.
- :: These 14 qualifications, which the government was too
cowed to even release officially and therefore simply leaked
to reporters, would, if accepted, mitigate some of the dangers
inherent in the road map. But there can be no consolation in
this, because the Bush administration has made clear that it
rejects these qualifications. Secretary of State Colin Powell
said flat out that there would be "no changes" to the
road map.
- :: It is necessary to point out that the road map forces
Israel to accept at the outset the establishment of a Palestinian
state ruled by the PLO on land to which Israel has a legal claim
to sovereignty as strong as, if not stronger than the PLO's.
- :: While Israel is forced to cease taking actions to defend
its citizens from armed aggression carried out by the Palestinians,
the Palestinians themselves are requested only to make statements
to the effect that they are opposed to armed aggression against
the State of Israel. While Israel must recognize the right of
the Palestinians to self-determination and to relinquish the
right of return of Jews to lands whose sovereignty is disputed,
the Palestinians are not asked to recognize that the State of
Israel has a right to exist as the Jewish state. The road map
makes no reference to the need for the Palestinians to renounce
their demand to settle millions of Palestinians within Israel.
- :: Israel, which has absorbed 32 months of unremitting terrorist
warfare against its civilians - warfare directed by the Palestinian
Authority - is the side the Quartet points to in the road map
as the villain. Israel must stop defending itself from aggression.
Israel must accept Palestinian political demands lock, stock,
and barrel...
- The Middle East Newsline reported earlier this week that
the State Department recommended denying Israel $8 billion in
loan guarantees and $1 billion in supplemental military assistance
if the government did not accept the establishment of a Palestinian
state by the end of the year as stipulated by the road map...
- :: And yet, immediately after the cabinet announced its decision,
Washington announced its plans for a trilateral summit among
President George W. Bush, Sharon, and Abbas next week. Top administration
officials are now here busily working to ensure that Sharon will
be forthcoming with concrete concessions at the Akaba summit
to ensure the meeting's "success." So if Sharon thought
accepting the road map would decrease US pressure, he was dead
wrong. Far from lessening the pressure, Sharon's decision to
accept the road map has only increased US pressure on him tenfold.
- :: ".. Bush has been viewed by many Israelis as the
best friend Israel has ever had in the White House... And yet,
in light of the recent actions by the administration, actions
that are quite simply hostile to the State of Israel, the president's
credibility as a friend and an ally of the state is necessarily
placed in doubt... Bush has distinguished himself as the most
outspoken champion of Palestinian statehood to have ever occupied
the Oval Office.
- Bush first made this statement in a letter to Saudi Crown
Prince Abdullah on August 29, 2001. The announcement came 36
hours after Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar delivered a breathtakingly
hostile message from Abdullah to the White House that amounted
to little less than a declaration of war against the US. According
to press accounts, Bandar informed National Security Adviser
Condoleezza Rice that because of the administration's support
for Israel, "the crown prince feels that he cannot continue
dealing with the United States."..
- :: And now, today, all that remains of the contents of Bush's
historic address last June, all that has survived the events
of the past year, is an unwavering demand from Israel to accept
Palestinian statehood - immediately. Therefore we can no longer
blindly trust its [Bush administration's] intentions. But whatever
the case, this crushing and heartbreaking reality cannot be swept
under the rug. The threats arrayed against us are too foreboding.
- We must accept the truth. As presently constituted, the Bush
administration's Middle East policy is hostile to the national
security interests of the State of Israel. [ http://www.imra.org.il

- WHY DO MOST JEWS USE THE SIX-POINTED STAR?
- :: Why do most Jews use the six-pointed star, which they
call the Star of David, the Shield of David, or the Magen David?
- :: M. Hirsch Goldberg in his book The Jewish Connection states:
" The Star of David is not of Jewish origin - and the ancient
Israelites never used it as their religious symbol" (they
used the Menorah or Seven Candlestick). So, why did the six-pointed
star become known as the Jewish star? This symbol was widely
adopted, not because the Jewish people chose it, but ironically
because Adolph Hitler forced all Jews to wear a yellow six-pointed
star during the holocaust. The word holocaust means burnt
offering, and the six-pointed star was used in the past when
burnt human sacrifices were offered to Moloch and Ashtoreth in
Baal worship. The few Jews who had anything to do with the Six-Pointed
star (hexagram) were those who were involved in occult practices.
Back to Hitler, would he put anything good on a Jew? Hitler meant
to insult and destroy the Jews, and being wrapped up in the occult
(read the book, The Nazis and the Occult ), he may have meant
the Jews to be his burnt offering for power. Today, most Jews
wear this star by choice, and without thinking or checking out
its origin and usage through time. Wearing the six-pointed star
became a fashion.
- :: The first mention of the six-pointed star in Israelite
literature was in Amos 5:6, when YAWEH angrily tells His people
that " I hate and despise your feast days
. You shall
take up Siccuth, your king and Chiun your images, the star of
your God
." Siccuth (Sakkuth) and Chiun (Kaiwan) means
"star" and refers to Saturn as a star, and was objects
of idolatrous worship, as they were considered to be Assyrian
gods. The mixed multitude that went out of Egypt with the
children of Israel took the star with them. Like the obelisk,
the six-pointed star was an Egyptian idol used in
idolatrous worship. In 922 B.C. when Solomon married the daughter
of Pharoah, he became involved in Egyptian idol worship and went
into magic, and witchcraft. Solomon built an altar to Ashtoreth
and Moloch, and the six-pointed star, the chief symbol of human
sacrifices in magic and witchcraft circles, came to be called
the Seal of Solomon.
- :: Solomon did not heed the subsequent warnings from God
to cease from these abominable practices, even after God threatened
to rend the Kingdom of Israel from his son's hand. And indeed,
the split occurred after Solomon's death. Solomon's idolatry
caused the Kingdom of Israel to be split in two. The practices
he introduced to the children of Israel eventually caused the
House of Israel to go into exile into the Caucasus, and the House
of Judah to go into captivity. It was Josiah who later destroyed
this forbidden altar. Did you know that the number 666 was connected
to Solomon? (1 Kings 10:14)
- :: Yes, 666 talents of gold was sent to Solomon each month
by none other than the King of Tyrus. After you have read this
account in the book of 1 Kings, turn to Ezekiel Chapter 28. Oh,
what a tangled web was weaved, when Solomon practised to deceive.
King Solomon left many articles which proved his blatant idolatry,
such as King Solomon's Mirror, King Solomon's Comb, and the six-pointed
star, which became known as the Seal of Solomon in the witchcraft
and occult world. Solomon also laid down the foundations of the
Craft (Daniel 8:25) which later became known as Freemasonry.,
and the six-pointed star features prominently in Masonic rituals.
- :: King David was Solomon's father, but he was never an idolater.
He made it absolutely clear that God Himself was his shield,
not only in Psalm 3:3 but in Psalm 28:7, Psalm 119:114, and Psalm
144:2.

- ISRAEL !
- Did you know that the word ISRAEL does
not appear in the New Testament. The last time it appears is
in the Old Testament in the last book, the Book of Malachi:
- " The burden of the word of the LORD
to Israel by Malachi.
- "I have loved you, saith
the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved
us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved
Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage
waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
- "Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished,
but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith
the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and
they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people
against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
- "And your eyes shall see, and ye
shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border
of Israel. "A son honoureth his father,
and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine
honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD
of hosts unto you,
- "O priests, that despise my name.
And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? Ye offer polluted
bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee?
In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. And if
ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer
the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor;
will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the
LORD of hosts.
- "And now, I pray you, beseech God
that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means:
will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
- "Who is there even among you that
would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on
mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD
of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same
my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place
incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for
my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
- "But ye have profaned it, in that
ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof,
even his meat, is contemptible. Ye said also, Behold, what a
weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of
hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and
the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of
your hand? saith the LORD. But cursed be the deceiver, which
hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the
Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith
the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

- :: BUSH REJECTS JERUALEM CLAUSE: US President Bush on 30
September signed the Foreign Relations Authorization Act for
fiscal year 2003, and then issued a statement in which he said
the act contained provisions that "impermissibly interfere
with the constitutional functions of the presidency in foreign
affairs, including provisions that purport to establish foreign
policy that are of significant concern." Noting that the
section calling for US recognition of Jerusalem as Israels
capital interferes with his constitutional authority, the President
said he would consider such provisions to be "advisory,"
rather than "mandatory." "US policy on Jerusalem
has not changed," the President said. US policy regards
Jerusalem as a permanent status issue, which must be negotiated
by the Israelis and Palestinians. Following is the excerpt on
Jerusalem from President Bushs September 30 statement.
- (begin excerpt)
I have today signed into law H.R. 1646, the "Foreign Relations
Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2003." This Act authorizes
appropriations, and provides important new authorities, for diplomatic
and related activities of the US Government. Many provisions
in the Act will strengthen our ability to advance American interests
around the globe, including nonproliferation of weapons of mass
destruction, and to meet our international commitments, including
those to the United Nations. Regrettably, the Act contains a
number of provisions that impermissibly interfere with the constitutional
functions of the presidency in foreign affairs, including provisions
that purport to establish foreign policy that are of significant
concern. ... Section 214, concerning Jerusalem, impermissibly
interferes with the Presidents constitutional authority
to conduct the Nations foreign affairs and to supervise
the unitary executive branch. Moreover, the purported direction
in section 214 would, if con
strued as mandatory rather than advisory, impermissibly interfere
with the Presidents constitutional authority to formulate
the position of the United States, speak for the Nation in international
affairs, and determine the terms on which recognition is given
to foreign states. U.S. policy regarding Jerusalem has not changed.

- SAUDIS CONFIRM PLANS TO END U.S. MILITARY PRESENCE ABU DHABI
[MENL]
- :: Saudi Arabia has confirmed that Western military troops
will leave the kingdom later this year.
- Saudi officials said U.S., British and French forces would
leave the kingdom after the conclusion of a war against Iraq.
They said Saudi Arabia would relay a formal request to NATO countries
to end their military presence once the regime of President Saddam
Hussein is toppled and order is restored in Iraq.
- :: More than 5,000 Western troops, most of them U.S. Air
Force personnel, are deployed in the Prince Sultan Air Base.
Saudi Arabia has permitted the NATO members use of the air base
to monitor the no-fly zones in northern and southern Iraq.
- :: But Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khaled Bin Sultan
said he expects the United States and its allies to end the no-fly
zones over the next year. He said this will prompt the departure
of the Western military forces from the kingdom. Contact Middle

- RABBIS RELEASE "LETTER OF CAUTION" TO PRESIDENT
BUSH 375 REFORM, CONSERVATIVE ORTHODOX RABBIS TAKE UNIFIED STAND
ON ROAD MAP IMPLEMENTATION CALL FOR 1 MILLION AMERICANS TO ADD
THEIR NAMES TO ONLINE PETITION NEW YORK
- :: May 29, 2003 - The Interdenominational Rabbinic Committee,
coordinated by Amcha-The Coalition for Jewish Concerns, released
the text of the "letter of caution" sent to President
George W. Bush at a 10 am press conference today in Manhattan.
The letter was signed by 375 Congregational Rabbis who serve
hundreds of thousands of American Jews from the three major branches
of Judaism and represent the entire religious and political spectrum
of the Jewish community. Never before have so many diverse Congregational
Rabbis come together to sign a letter of consensus on such an
important issue affecting Israel.
- :: Noting the overwhelming grassroots response to the letter,
the Rabbis announced the launching of a drive to garner one million
American signatures. The petition can be viewed at www.cjcamcha.org
or www.petitiononline.com/amcha503 . In explaining the reasoning
behind this effort, Rabbi Bruce Ginsburg said, "We believe
that the Road Map allows for a variety of interpretations. What
we are doing with our statement is urging President Bush to make
sure its implementation is in line with his vision for Middle
East peace as articulated on June 24th of last year." Rabbi
Ginsburg also stressed that just as "America cannot defend
itself and its friends by hoping for the best," neither
can Israel.

- A BLACK DAY
- STATEMENT BY SECRETARY OF STATE COLIN POWELL AND NATIONAL
SECURITY ADVISOR CONDOLEEZZA RICE
- :: 23 May 2003 - The roadmap was presented to the Government
of Israel with a request from the President that it respond with
contributions to this document to advance true peace. The United
States Government received a response from the Government of
Israel, explaining its significant concerns about the roadmap.
The United States shares the view of the Government of Israel
that these are real concerns, and will address them fully and
seriously in the implementation of the roadmap to fulfill the
President's vision of June 24, 2002.
- :: This amorphous fig leaf solution is sheer madness. This
American statement isn't a solution. It is another problem. A
source for future American-Israeli friction. What does it mean
to "address them fully and seriously in the implementation
of the roadmap"? This when the roadmap itself is not being
changed? Would anyone commit to a defective contract based on
the assurance that even though the written text is dangerously
defective that when the contract is implements that the problems
will be address? How can they be addressed when the text calls
for one thing and "addressing" these problem means
doing something completely differently?
