- BUSH AND THE SAUDIS REFUSE TO GIVE UP
The Golden Report - by Jerry Golden - November 15, 2007 - It
may be too late but who knows, one thing good that has happened
in the past 24 hours, the Knesset or at least some of the MK's
in the Knesset have voted against the Olmert's "Kadima Party"
Government and made it next to impossible for Olmert to divide
Jerusalem without a two thirds votes in the Knesset and at this
time that would be impossible. In the mean time Netanyahu is
trying to muster enough support to overthrow the corrupt Olmert
Government, no one has been able to do that since Sharon begin
this insane move to destroy the Jewish State but at least there
is an effort being put forth.
- It also looks like the News Media and others are waking up
to the words used by the Palestinians when Arafat and Abbas say
they recognize the fact that Israel is a State. This is not the
same thing as saying they recognize Israel as a Jewish State.
The State of Israel is now plainly saying that the PA must recognize
that Israel is a Jewish State. But the PA has come out in the
last couple of days very clearly and saying they will never formally
recognize that Israel is a Jewish State. Even Olmert says that
it's impossible for Israel to accept the right of return for
all Palestinians into Israel for it would be the instant destruction
of Israel but the Palestinians say there will be no peace with
Israel unless Israel accepts that. Which simply means they will
accept nothing less than the total destruction of Israel.
- The Annapolis meeting is nothing less than a train wreck
waiting to happen; it's like two trains on the same track speeding
directly at each other. One is driven by Bush and Rice the other
has two causalities in it, the Arabs who call themselves "Palestinians"
and the Israeli people. Neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians
want this Annapolis meeting to take place at this time but they
can't stop the train driven by Bush and Rice who are hell bent
for destroying the Jewish State. When the two trains meet in
Annapolis there will be an explosion heard around the world and
it will be felt by not just the Jews and the Arabs but the ripples
will reverberate through out the world's economy and politics.
We here in Israel are bracing for the train wreck knowing things
could get really bad. But what other choice do we have other
than to fight once again asking God to give us victory.
- Everyone one has been looking for the attack on the US by
Islamic extremists well this could be the signal for that to
kick in as well. One thing is certain we have but a few days
to find out. The only thing that could hold off the inevitable
is for Bush to call off this Annapolis insanity no one wants
but Bush and Rice, and everyone knows it is doomed to fail causing
terrible things to happen very soon. Regardless of what happens
our only real hope is in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah)
not only a train wreck is about to occur but the world's largest
storm on the horizon is gathering. No matter where you're at,
if you have the presence of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit)
in you, you will be used as a great witness in the days ahead.
For the only storm that will effect you is the one inside of
you, and with God's presence there will be no storm there.
- It appears that Bush cannot be stopped from his desire to
destroy Israel and in so doing he is bringing down destruction
on the US as well, possibly on the rest of the world as well.
Bush says that he worships the same God the Moslems worship,
maybe so but I worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and
His name is not Allah. Israel will not be destroyed and God will
bring the rest of the Jews back to the land He promised them.
Isaiah 11:11th verse. And it shall come to pass in that day,
that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover
the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria,
and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam,
and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the
sea. We will be there to assist in this re-gathering. Pray for
the peace of Jerusalem for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers.
Pray for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden

- WAKE UP CALL TO AMERICAN CHRISTIANS
- By Gary Larrabee - November 3, 2007 - ".... America's
shadow government is alive and thriving with the goal to rule
the world. The method is by controlling through the pressures
and influence by proxy of the International bankers. Mystery
Babylon, is a threat to the liberty of every citizen of the world.
The spark has been ignited that threatens every true believer
in God. No matter whether we call him Allah through Islam, or
worship God through Jewish faith or Christianity, every one of
us as believers may become a prisoner of the world system. Everyone's
commitment will be tested in just trying survival.
The events of today appear to be leading up to fulfillment of
events that will fulfill Bible Prophecy, when it speaks in Revelation
12th chapter of the Woman surviving in the wilderness. Believers
will seek safety saved by fleeing to the wilderness or by going
underground to survive and be faithful to their faith and integrity.
Trusting in prayer and faith that they will not being tempted
to participate in the evil 666 system. This appears to be the
only means of survival of not taking the mark of the beast.
In many ways I used to admire and look up to our spiritual leaders,
However I see dangers being done by our spiritual leaders who
I believe are being led by the flesh, power, money and prestige.
I believe they are falling into a trap and are being deceived.
In this trap they find themselves supporting and defending Leaders
who speak one way and act another way. In this way they are actually
supporting and fighting the fight for the enemy. Anyone speaking
out against organized religion can be expected to come under
great persecution by the people we are trying to help, the true
believers who are being destroyed for lack of knowledge. We all
need to pray for enlightenment from the Holy Spirit and for wisdom
in how we should react. Since 9-11-01, it appears to me that
satan has been cast out of the heaven onto this earth and we
are in a great spiritual fight. Revelation 12: Continued: http://www.rense.com/general78/flduo.htm

- OLMERT SEES 'HAND OF GOD' IN 'PEACE' PROCESS
- Jerusalem News Wire - by Stan Goodenough - January 01, 2008
- Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Monday he believes
he can almost see "the hand of God" in the coming together
of purportedly Israel-friendly countries which are working to
create a Palestinian state on the historical homeland of the
Jewish people. In an exclusive interview timed to coincide with
the start of 2008, Olmert told The Jerusalem Post he believed
the current constellation of key international personalities
who were "favorably disposed" to Israel created "comfortable
conditions" for negotiations that may not exist again in
the future.
- The prime minister, a secular Jew, said it is "a coincidence
that is almost 'the hand of God' that Bush is president of the
United States, that Nicolas Sarkozy is the president of France,
that Angela Merkel is the chancellor of Germany, that Gordon
Brown is the prime minister of England and that the special envoy
to the Middle East is Tony Blair."
- "What possible combination could be more comfortable
for the State of Israel?" Olmert maintained that it was
imperative that Israel make every effort towards progress in
the land-for-peace process as long as this lineup of friendly
faces remains in place. It is an historical irony that Israel-friendly
world leaders have been more successful in their push for the
division of Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel)than have outspokenly
antagonistic prime ministers and presidents. Observers have noted
that Israel's tendency towards dependancy on other countries
- especially the United States - and the readiness of its leaders
to be pressured as they pursue foreign favor has made the Jewish
state exceptionally vulnerable to manipulation.
- There is a saying in Israel, that after centuries of antisemitism
and decades of non-stop war and terrorism, the nation is desperate
enough to "sell its soul to the devil" for peace.

- 'WEAK' OLMERT, ABBAS WILL WELCOME BUSH
- Jerusalem News Wire - By Stan Goodenough - January 01, 2008
- When George W. Bush makes his first visit as president to Israel
next week, the American will be hosted by politically weak Israeli
and "Palestinian" leaders. Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestine
Liberation Organization/Palestinian Authority chairman, has lost
any ability he may have once had to exercise control over his
own people, with inter-Arab violence claiming at least eight
"Palestinian" lives in Hamas-Fatah clashes in Gaza
Tuesday.
- This means that Abbas cannot commit himself to ensuring the
maintenance of security Israel is looking for before it will
be willing to make more concessions to the PA.
- The unpopular Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is also
believed to lack the political capital to make good on any promises
he might be tempted to make to please Bush. Analysts in Israel
Tuesday were wondering just what the American president will
accomplish on his January 9 to 11 visit. Bush and his secretary
of state, Condoleezza Rice, are understood to have pinned a great
deal of hope on achieving some tangible progress in the land-for-peace
process before the end of the year.

- FRENCH PRESIDENT NICOLAS SARKOZY IN FAVOR OF PALESTINIANS
STATE
- Shamrak.com - by Steven Shamrak - January 3, 2008 - The opening
of the donors' conference in Paris, French President Nicolas
Sarkozy emphasised the urgency of creating a Palestinian state
by the end of next year, 2008. International donors eagerly pledged
$7.4 billion, pretending that it will boost PA economy.
- The list of fake friends of the fictitious Palestinian nation
is long: United States, pledged $555 million for 2008, though
about $400 million has not been approved by Congress; Britain,
$500 million; Norway, $420 million; Spain, $360 million; France
and Sweden, $300 million each; Germany, $290; Belgium,
86 million; the new Australian government pledged $39 million,
almost doubling the intended pledge; the European Union, 440
million ($650 million) in grants to the Palestinians in 2008.
- All of them ignored the enormous level of corruption, which
is traditional and common at all levels of PA, which traditionally
makes almost 50% of donated funds vanish. They did not care that
funds are spent on terror campaigns against Israel. The fact
that terrorism and military operations against it conducted by
Israel is not a conducive environment for economic development
have not made them stop and think what would be the better way
to spend this huge amount of money for the betterment of the
people they pretend to care about!
- Would it be more effective, for peace in the Middle East,
if all those funds, combined with UN and other programs, were
directed toward re-settlement of the non-Jewish population from
Judea, Samaria and Gaza to low populated Sinai, where they would
have a vast amount of contiguous land, which they do not have
in Israel, to build an independent state or have autonomy under
the Egyptian government? But, logic and common sense are not
applicable when prejudice against Jews and fear of Arab terror
and diminishing supply of oil is in play.
- That is why none of the legitimate nations, who are suffering
from occupation, are not attracting such strong international
attention and generosity. People of Tibet, Western Papua, Kurdistan
, Western Sahara , Armenians in Turkey, Basques and others, who
have been enduring discrimination and even genocide from their
occupiers are still ignored and brushed of by international duplicity.
At the same time, the world is not really interested in true
peace in the Middle East. It is only after the terror campaign,
which was unleashed by the PLO during 70's and coincided with
the oil embargo imposed by the Arab countries, that the United
States and Europe had suddenly discovered the 'Palestinian nation'.
Recent attacks by Al Qaida in the US , Europe and Bali have brought
the horror memories back: plane and boat high-jackings, suicide
bombings and execution of Israeli athletes in Munich. Fear combined
with traditional anti-Semitism and dependency on Arab oil creates
the best condition for the successful fund rasing party!
- Egypt is allowing some 1,200 Arabs - including Hamas terrorists
with possibly millions of dollars in cash to be used for Hamas
- to return to Gaza without having to go through Israeli security
- in violation of an explicit agreement between Defense Minister
Ehud Barak and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak just two weeks
ago. Testimony of the Peace Process. According to the Internal
Security Services (ShaBaK), there were 2,946 terrorist attacks
in 2007 in Israel. (Ask yourself, what would the United States
do in these circumstances?) http://www.terrorismawareness.org/what-really-happened/
- "... Israeli Arabs Don't Want Palestine. The vast majority
of Israeli Arabs, 78 percent, would not want to live in a future
Palestinian state. Many Israeli Jews believe their Arab compatriots
want to stay in Israel because of economics. Arabs make up about
20 percent of Israel's population. (It would be better, for peace
and clear national identity, if all of them move and live in
the new Muslim state, Sinai!)
- .. When Government Disrespects National Aspirations. Jewish
immigration to Israel fell in 2007 to a 17-year low. About 19,700
immigrants arriving was the lowest number since the fall of the
Soviet Union. In 2006, about 21,000 people moved to the Jewish
state, local media reported. Earlier this year the number of
Israelis leaving the country exceeded the number of new arrivals
for the first time in 20 years.
- 'Moderate' Fatah. Fatah is planning to mark its 43rd anniversary
(creation of the fake Palestinian nation) with a new poster that
presents all of Israel as Palestine . The poster's underlying
message is that Fatah, like Hamas, does not recognize Israel's
existence. It features a map of Israel that is entirely draped
with a Palestinian scarf and a drawing of a rifle as a symbol
of the "armed struggle" against Israel. The emblem
is in violation of Fatah's declared policy, which envisions an
independent Palestinian state alongside, and not instead of,
Israel. (Fatah and Hamas may have different religious ideologies,
but the same intended future for Israel and Jews!)
- Virgins for Martyrs are Back. PA TV put back on the screen
a music video, with the Virgins of Paradise reminding would-be
suicide bomber terrorist Shahids (martyrs) of the reward that
awaits them when they die fighting the Jews. The constant reruns
may signal the need to increase motivation among PA Arab men
to join the terrorist ranks and donate their lives to fighting
Israelis. (And no one cares that it is another violation of the
Oslo Agreement! How many virgins can $7.4 billion buy?)
- Bush and Sarkozy: No patience for Assad. "My patience
ran out on President Assad a long time ago. The reason why is
because he houses Hamas, he facilitates Hezbollah, suiciders
go from his country into Iraq and he destabilizes Lebanon ,"
Bush said. "I have reached the end of the road with Assad.
Words alone won't suffice; I want actions," Sarkozy told
journalists. (Only Israel must remain calm, considered and patient. Why?) : http://www.shamrak.com

MINISTER APPEASES MUSLIMS ON TEMPLE MOUNT
- JNewsWire.com - By Stan Goodenough - January 03, 2008 - Israeli
Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter, whose job it is to ensure
the majority of his countrymen are able to live as Jews free
from danger and fear, has bowed even further to the Muslim threat
to use violence against Jews who wish to pray on the Temple Mount
- Israel's holiest site. Despite the fact that the place where
Israel's first and second temples stood is under de jure Israeli
sovereignty the Olmert government, like those before it, already
acquiesces to the demands of the Waqf (Islamic Trust) to ban
Jewish and Christian prayer on the hill.
- The hours during which Christians and Jews can ascend the
Temple Mount are severely restricted; non-Muslim visitors are
searched and prevented from taking Bibles or prayer books into
the site, and individuals are frequently arrested or at least
forced to leave [as I was-Ed] if they are even suspected of praying.
- Now, according to a report Tuesday in the leftist Israeli
newspaper Ha'aretz, Dichter recently sent a letter to two religious
Knesset members telling them that "a Jew is not allowed
to pray in any overt manner whatsoever on the Temple Mount, even
if he is just moving his lips in prayer." While it "is
not possible to arrest a person for 'conversing with his maker
... it is possible to carry out an arrest for expressions of
outward and demonstrative signs [of prayer]," Dichter said.
He continued to explain that this interpretation "is in
line with the rationale that bans Jews from praying at the site,
in light of serious concerns that this will serve as a provocation,
resulting in disorder, with a near certain likelihood of subsequent
bloodshed."
- The voices of the minister and the rest of the government
were nowhere to be heard two weeks ago when the radio network
of the Islamist terrorist group Hamas broadcast inflammatory
Muslim sermons from the Temple Mount for the first time. These
sermons almost always incite Muslims to violence against Jews.
- According to the Oxford English Dictionary, making concessions
to conciliate a potential aggressor is defined as appeasement.
In their pain-saturated history, the Jewish people have often
suffered most after efforts have been made to appease those out
to destroy them. http://www.jnewswire.com/article/2289

- A VERY IMPORTANT REPORT .
The Golden Report - by Jan Willem van der Hoeven, & Jerry
Golden - December 16, 2007 - "... In his recent speech in
Annapolis the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr Ehud Olmert made the
following statement:
- "I believe that there is no path other than peace. I
believe there is no just solution other than the solution of
two national states for two peoples. I believe that there is
no path which does not involve painful compromise for you Palestinians
and for us Israelis. I want to thank you, President George Bush,
an ally in the path of peace, for your willingness to assist
in the historic process of peace and reconciliation between us
and our neighbors."
- This statement exposes the absolute fallacy of the policy
being pursued by Israel and the Nations concerning the Arab-Israeli
conflict. When Prime Minister Olmert says - with the blind agreement
of not only the nations of the world but even most of the ministers
of his cabinet - that he believes there is NO path other than
peace and NO just solution other than the establishment of two
national states for two peoples, it is clear that he has - apparently
freely - swallowed the lie and the deception that peace will
come to this region and to Israel only by way of the vision first
foolishly proclaimed by the president of the United States.
- The opposite is true. Peace will come to the Middle East
- as it came to Europe - by military victory. As the Bible so
truthfully, if sadly, states: There is a time to make war, and
there is a time to make peace (see Ecclesiastes 3:8). Continued:

- 'BREAKTHROUGH' IN ANNAPOLIC TALKS
IsraelNN.com - November 11, 2007 - Israel thinks its negotiations
with the PLO have been crowned with success, according to a report
in Ma'ariv/NRG Friday. The report says a "breakthrough"
was achieved when the PLO side agreed to Israel's demand that
the creation of an Arab state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza be conditional
on "effective counter-terror fighting" by the PLO.
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/136173
Quoting Israeli diplomatic sources, the report says Israel will
apparently announce its intention to divide Jerusalem and to
make "significant territorial concessions" in Judea
and Samaria. Israel will also agree to a "compromise"
regarding the Arab "refugees" (descendants of Arabs
who lived within the current Israeli borders in the past). PA

- THE ANNAPOLIS FIASCO
The Jerusalem Connection: - By: Bret Stephens - November 22,
2007 - Condoleezza Rice's pointless Middle East conference. -
Henry Kissinger once observed that "when enough prestige
has been invested in a policy it is easier to see it fail than
abandon it." At the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.,
next week, the current secretary of state will illustrate her
predecessor's point.
"Annapolis," as it is spoken
of in diplomatic circles, was conceived earlier this year by
the Bush administration as a landmark conference that would revive
Israeli-Palestinian peace talks and lead to a final settlement
by January 2009. It was to be modeled on the Madrid conference
of 1991, which brought Israeli leaders face-to-face with their
Arab counterparts and, as it seemed at the time, created a new
paradigm in the affairs of the Middle East. Back then, the idea
was that the Iron Wall between the Jewish state and its neighbors
could be brought down just as the Berlin Wall had. Today, the
operative theory is that Israel's neighbors, fearful of Iran's
growing regional clout, have a newfound interest in putting the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict to rest.
- Nice theory--if only the locals would get with the concept.
The Egyptians are openly skeptical about the conference, which
they say lacks "an endgame." The Saudis, supposedly
among the beleaguered and newly pliable Sunni powers, can hardly
be bothered with Annapolis; even now it's unclear whether their
foreign minister will attend. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas
has told the Saudis he would rather resign than attend a conference
that achieves nothing. He fears Palestinians would "turn
to Hamas after they see that Annapolis did not give them anything,"
according to an unnamed Palestinian official quoted in the Jerusalem
Post. Cont'd: http://support.tjci.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=5249&JServSessionIdr009=hf3vw7g3k1.app1a

- JERUSALEM WATCHMAN HOLDING UP THE WORD AGAINST ALL ODDS
PUBLIC STATEMENT OF ALARM Posted on 7 January 7, 2008 - In the
light of Gods warning to the nations through His prophet
Joel that He will one day bring them to judgment for dividing
the land He repeatedly vowed to give to just one nation - His
own beloved and Chosen People - it is appalling to read Israeli
Prime Minister Ehud Olmerts expressed belief that he can
almost see the hand of God behind the crazy idea* being pushed
upon Israel by the nations of the world: that a 23rd Muslim Arab
state - Palestine - be established in the heart of this already
tiny little land.
- As you must know, Mr. Olmert, this is not the advice of friends
but of self-serving politicians who are afraid or unable to withstand
the immense pressures of the whole Muslim world (of more than
40 nations) and also the millions of Muslims within their own
borders. No, this is not the kind advice of friends, but unconscionable
exploitation for reasons of expediency. And it is certainly not
the hand of God behind all this pressure, but the sinister influence
of your combined enemies-or should we say, the Enemy?
- Therefore, together with millions of Christians who are true
friends of Israel, and in faithfulness to what the International
Christian Embassy Jerusalem declared at its opening on October
15, 1981, pledging its support and untiring international
effort for the unification of Israels land and Israels
capital Jerusalem, we call upon you both - Mr. George W.
Bush and Mr. Ehud Olmert - to cease forthwith your attempt to
placate Israels enemies with a 23rd state of their own,
thereby facilitating the demise of this young courageous nation,
to the judgment of all those responsible for pushing Israel down
this totally treacherous road.

Zionist Center - Stan Goodenough, Editor

- * The revelation, on the same day as Mr. Olmerts statement,
that two official PA policemen murdered two Israeli hikers in
the last week of 2007, using weapons issued under Israels
supervision as part of the peace process, is only
the latest proof of the foolishness of this idea. http://www.stangoodenough.com/?p=98

- ISRAEL'S PROPHETIC WITNESS
- 'To Finish the Transgression and to Anoint the Most Holy'
is going to resolve, once and for all, the amazing passage of
Daniel 8:14 and the 2,300 days between the time of the commencement
of the sacrifices within Daniel's 70th Week and the extremity
of the desolations, from the middle of Daniel's 70th Week, until
their final conclusion on the 1,290th Day. What in the world
does this have to do with George Walker Bush's visit to Jerusalem
and six Arab states, along with the Palestinian Authority this
Thursday, January 10, 2008? Much in every way! Americans' along
with their fascination of appropriating these passages to themselves
(taking them away from their legitimate owner--National Israel

the 'cleansing of the temple' or the 'restoring of the temple'

teaching which makes the Church the New Israel of God in toto.
These folks may be well-meaning brethren (some of them) but they
are sorely in error. How do these 2,300 days relate to the 70th
Week of Daniel? Read on, dear saint, read on 'and then, as His
Scripture of Truth continues to enlighten His people, rest assured'

President Bush traveled to Israel from January 9 to January 11.

and is arriving in Saudi Arabia on Monday for three days and
two nights before traveling to Sharm al Sheikh, Egypt on Wednesday,
January 16. He leaves for Washington later that evening. When
President Bush was in Israel, the Torah teachings were Gods

Isaac and Jacob to give them the land of Canaan; God stated that
He remembered that covenant; He would take them to be His people;
He would release them from the burdens of the Egyptians; and
He will bring them to the land that He gave them for their heritage.
In the Haftarah teachings, the Lord says they shall dwell in
their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. And they shall

leader and former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu certainly
sounded like one when he met with visiting US President George
W. Bush in Jerusalem Thursday morning. "Jerusalem belongs
to the Jewish people and will remain under Israeli sovereignty
for eternity" declared the Likud Party Chairman and leading
contender to be Israel's next prime minister. Bible-believing
Christians and Jews hold that Jerusalem - first the earthly one
and then the heavenly one - will be eternally under Jewish sovereignty,
with the Messiah, Son of David and Lion of the Tribe of Judah
ultimately ruling the world from the Israeli capital.
- Netanyahu, who was initially not going to be accorded the
courtesy of a one-on-one with the American, had reportedly requested
a brief audience with him in the King David Hotel. Bush confirmed
this when he shook hands with "Bibi" - as Netanyahu
is popularly known - at the Ben Gurion Airport reception line
upon his arrival Wednesday. "Are we on for tomorrow morning?
We'll get some coffee," the president said. Their coffee
break went 45 minutes over the allotted time. During their meeting
Netanyahu presented Bush with an ancient coin inscribed in Hebrew
and was struck in the first century AD/CE.
- The coin had been discovered in Jerusalem, proving the Jewish
people's millennia-old ties with the city. The Islamic/Arab world
now wants to take Jerusalem away from the Jews, turning parts
containing Israel's holiest sites into the capital of "Palestine"
- the state "alongside" Israel Bush is here to help
create. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Quran - the Islamic
"bible." While Bush claims to be a practising Christian,
Netanyahu shows no outward signs of being religious. The Israeli
is known, however, to respect people of faith, and has often
acknowledged the contributions made by Christian Zionists towards
the re-establishment of and support for the Jewish state. http://www.jnewswire.com/article/2303

- BUSH EXPECTS ISRAEL-PA TREATY BY JANUARY 2009
- IsraelNN.com - by Hana Levi Julian - US President George
W. Bush sent a message of optimism Thursday at a joint news conference
with Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud
Abbas (Abu Mazen) following their meeting in Ramallah. His positive
spin did not entirely hide his concern about the deep divide
between the positions of Israel and the PA. Reiterating his oft-repeated
mantra that ?tough choices? must be made in order to reach a
settlement between Israel and the PA, Bush said he believed leaders
of both sides are committed to the process. "I believe it's
possible not only possible, I believe it's going to happen that
there will be a signed peace treaty by the time I leave office.
That?s what I believe."
That having been said, Bush also noted that little could be accomplished
while Israel is forced to maintain a constant state of alert
against terrorism emanating from PA territories. The Israelis,
he said bluntly, "don?t want a state on their border from
which attacks can be launched. I can understand that. The checkpoints
create security for Israel and they create frustration for Palestinians."
Abbas underscored the PA position that there can be no peace
without lifting security restrictions and, ultimately, the creation
of a PA state with Jerusalem as its capital. Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert drew the line at Jerusalem in his meeting with Bush on
Wednesday, telling him that Israel will not accept limitations
on what construction it chooses to carry out anywhere in Jerusalem.
In a joint news conference following their meeting, Olmert told
reporters "We made it clear that Jerusalem?s status was
different than that of other settlements. Not everyone likes
what we have to say about this, but we made it clear that Jerusalem?s
status was different than that of the settlements," he said.
- "The Palestinian people," claimed Abu Mazen, are
"committed to peace, want to move freely in their country,
with no roadblocks, [separation] fence or settlements. We want
to see a different future, without thousands of prisoners in
jail and innocent deaths. We want to stop the closure,"
Abbas told reporters.
The American Roadmap plan, which all parties agreed would become
the blueprint for the negotiation process, called for a complete
cessation of terrorist activity emanating from the PA territories
in its first phase, along with the lifting of Israeli security
measures. Olmert and Abbas both agreed to skip the first step
and move ahead to a discussion of final status issues. Until
this point, the PA has insisted that its territories in Judea
and Samaria must be considered as one entity with Gaza "
but Thursday's news conference raised a question as to whether
that would still be the case in future talks.
- Bush told reporters that the Hamas terrorist organization
has complicated matters for everyone. "There is a competing
vision taking place in Gaza," he said. "Hamas"
has delivered nothing but misery." He added that he didn't
know whether issues with Hamas " and by extension, in Gaza
" could be resolved by the end of 2008. ?Gaza's a tough
situation,"said Bush. "I don't know whether you can
solve it in a year or not." What is clear, said Bush, is
the cost to the PA of not resolving the Gaza problem and the
choice that must be made. "Do you want those who have created
chaos to run your country" " he asked pointedly. "Or
do you want those of us who negotiated a settlement with the
Israelis that will lead to lasting peace?"
- Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum responded in Gaza that the
Bush-Abbas meeting ?"ocused on the so-called security topics
that mean to act against the interests of the Palestinian majority
and the resistance." It is not clear whether or how any
agreement between Israel and the Fatah-run PA government can
be reached without dealing with Hamas?s stranglehold on Gaza.
The clock is ticking, however. "I?m on a timetable,"
Bush told reporters. "I?'e got 12 months." http://www.IsraelNN.com

- THE REAL REASON FOR THE HAMAS BOMBING OF THE BORDER
The Golden Report - by Jerry Golden - January 24, 2008 - ".....
But the real question we should be asking ourselves is why isnt
Egypt doing anything about the broken border, it is their border
and their responsibility? The 1979 Camp David peace treaty between
Israel and Egypt dictated the amount of Egyptian Forces that
could be in the Sinai Desert up next to the Israel Border. The
Egyptians have tried several times in different ways to get the
Israelis to allow them to at least double that number, for obvious
reasons they want as many soldiers up next to the Israeli border
as possible.
- For years Ive been saying that the most dangerous enemy
Israel has is not Syria or Iran that it is Egypt and the US has
been arming their Army, Air Force and Navy to the teeth for years
now. I also find it a little more than strange that right after
Bush leaves Egypt on his recent Middle East Tour that the border
is breached and Egypt does nothing about it, and I havent
heard anything from the US concerning any of this. Continued:

AHMADINEJAD: ISRAEL HAS ITS 'FINAL
STAGE'
- JerusalemNews.com by Stan Goodenough - January 30, 2008 -
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Wednesday that the
State of Israel, established 60 years ago this year, has reached
the "final stage" before its destruction. And he called
on the West to accept the fact of the Jewish state's "imminent
collapse." Ahmadinejad, who has repeatedly threatened Israel
with destruction, chose to make his comments while touring the
town of Bushehr, where Russia is currently constructing a nuclear
reactor for Iran.
- The Iranians are believed to be pursuing nuclear power in
order to build atomic bombs. Earlier this week Israeli Defense
Minister Ehud Barak publicly aired his belief that the Iranians
are already working to build nuclear warheads for the surface-to-surface
missiles. "What we have right now is the last chapter, which
the Palestinians and regional nations will confront and eventually
turn in Palestine's favor," the Iranian leader said in a
nationally televised message. "Accept that the life of Zionists
will sooner or later come to an end." http://www.jnewswire.com/article/2314

- ISRAEL BRACES FOR WAR REPORT
- Jerusalem News - By Stan Goodenough - January 30, 2008 -
After months of media speculation, days of discussion and columns
of commentary, the final report of the Winograd Commission on
mistakes made in the prosecution of the 2006 Second Lebanon War
will be released Wednesday evening Israel time. Unlike the inquiry's
interim report, released last April, the details made public
on January 30 are not expected to shock Israelis, who have been
saturated with information, including leaked details of its contents,
every day since at least the start of the new year.
- The interim report assigned responsibility for the major
failures in the war to former IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan
Halutz, to Defense Minister Amir Peretz, and to Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert.
- Halutz and Peretz no longer hold their positions: The former
resigned last January - before the interim report was released
- and the latter handed in his notice a few weeks after its release,
after he had already been ousted from his position as Labor Party
leader by former Prime Minister and current Defense Minister
Ehud Barak. Olmert, however, retained his position despite a
flood of criticism and numerous calls for his resignation. While
there was a lot of speculation back then that Winograd's final
report would force the prime minister to step down, this is no
longer anticipated. Although the findings are expected to be
harsh, no recommendations for personal sanctions are reportedly
in the works.
- One-hundred-and-forty-four Israeli soldiers and 44 Israeli
civilians were killed in the Second Lebanon War. Despite the
high cost, Israel's goals - primarily to secure the release of
kidnapped soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev - were not
realized. Hizb'allah is widely acknowledged by Israel's friends
and foes alike to have won that war. http://www.jnewswire.com/article/2311

- GIVE GAZA TO EGYPT MEMBER OF CFR RECOMMENDS
- CuttingEdge.org Weekly Newsletter - January 30, 2008 - http://cuttingedge.org/newsletters/
- Meanwhile, we have to consider whether the Illuminati has just
signaled that their vision is for Israel to permanently give
the Gaza Strip to Egypt! Daniel Pipes, part of the CFR Elite,
has written a most provocative article. NEWS BRIEF: "Give
Gaza to Egypt", by Daniel Pipes, reprinted in The Jerusalem
Post, January 30, 2008
"Startling developments in Gaza highlight the need for a
change in Western policy toward this troubled territory of 1.3
million persons ... for twenty years Gazans largely acquiesced
to Israeli rule ... Faced with a lethal Gaza, the Israeli government
of Ehud Olmert decided to isolate it, hoping that economic hardship
would cause Gazans to blame Hamas and turn against it. To an
extent, the squeeze worked, for Hamas' popularity did fall. The
Israelis also conducted raids against terrorists to stop the
rocket attacks. Still, the assaults continued; so, on January
17, the Israelis escalated by cutting fuel deliveries and closing
the borders. 'As far as I'm concerned', Olmert announced, 'Gaza
residents will walk, without gas for their cars, because they
have a murderous, terrorist regime that doesn't let people in
southern Israel live in peace'."
"That sounded reasonable but the press reported heart-rending
stories about Gazans suffering and dying due to the cutoffs,
and these immediately swamped the Israeli position. Appeals and
denunciations from around the world demanded that Israelis ease
up ... Then, on January 23, Hamas took matters into its own hands
with a clever surprise tactic: after months of preparation, it
pulled down large segments of the 12-km long, 13-meter high border
wall separating Gaza from Egypt, simultaneously winning goodwill
from Gazans and dragging Cairo into the picture. Politically,
Egyptian authorities had no choice but uneasily to absorb 38
wounded border guards and permit hundreds of thousands of persons
temporarily to enter the far northeast of their country."
- After describing the mess, this CFR member advocates the
solution.
- "What might Western states now do? The border breaching,
ironically, offers an opportunity to clean up a mess. Washington
and other capitals should declare the experiment in Gazan self-rule
a failure and press President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt to help,
perhaps providing Gaza with additional land or even annexing
it as a province."
- This proposal is breathtaking! Egypt would then control the
Gaza Strip, and could move significant numbers of troops right
up to the border with Israel. At this point, Israeli towns would
not be facing inaccurate Hamas terror rockets, but sophisticated
rockets, artillery fire and Egyptian elite forces!
- Egypt has always sought this kind of advantage, but Israel
has always stood firmly in the way.
- Israel has always depended upon her crack Israeli Defense
Force and crafty civilian leadership to survive the constant
hatred of surrounding Arabs. Since Israel is lacking these two
elements right now, can the time be far off when the prophecy
of Daniel 12:1 be fulfilled?
- "AND AT that time of the end Michael shall arise, the
great angelic prince who defends and has charge of your [Daniel's]
people. And there shall be a time of trouble, straitness, and
distress such as never was since there was a nation till that
time. But at that time your people shall be delivered..."
