ISRAEL
- A NEW PEACE PLAN FOR ISRAEL 'GENEVA INITIATIVE '
- Sharon's willing to abruptly reverse
his position on an issue sensitive to Israel's security.
Another agreement in the works. The new Geneva plan is to be
signed on November 4 by the Israeli and Palestinian negotiators,
and could take on a life of its own afterward. If Sharon suddenly
reverses his weak, tepid "opposition" to the initiative,
he could immediately order the IDF to withdraw as needed to implement
this plan. The Israeli voter and Conservative citizens would
be left in stunned silence for events might have happened so
quickly, they do not know immediately how to respond.Once the
IDF repositions its forces as this plan dictates,
the nation of Israel becomes a series of separated enclaves,
and that is a military tactician's nightmare. Arafat's Palestinian
paramilitary forces could attack key targets from within, forcing
the IDF to fight in separated locations. Syria and Egypt would
also be tempted to jump into the fray to take advantage of this
unbelievable Israeli self-inflicted wound.
- Finally, once Israel is divided into military enclaves, Arafat
and his paramilitary force of approximately 30,000 men can carry
out the Palestinian - Syrian agreement of 1996 whereby the next
Arab-Israeli war would start within the country as Muslim fighters
attack key installations so viciously that the IDF will have
to move men and materiel from the borders. At that moment, Syria
and Egypt can attack.
- One thing is certain concerning this "Geneva
Initiative": There is too much Illuminist
muscle behind this accord to either dismiss it out of hand or
to think it will never be implemented. When Shimon Peres is behind
the plan, Sharon just might pull one of his reversing tricks.
- Just when you thought the Middle East could not possibly
get worse, it just did!
- A Jewish author warns of the hidden threat Egypt poses to
the life of Israel! Jerry Golden --- www.thegoldenreport.com
-- posted a very interesting article which we carry in today's
Daily News Update, entitled, "Smoke Screens Everywhere:
The Stage being set for Armageddon". Jerry warns that
the Mass Media is running stories everyday about threats from
Syria, Iran, and Ethiopia, but never on the real threat, Egypt.
Jerry Golden warns: "For years I have been saying it will
be Egypt that will lead the charge against Israel. It is Mubarak
who wants revenge and more than that he wants to be sure
Egypt is the "real" leader of the Arab world.
- "Syria Calls up Reserves, Fears US-Israeli Military
Pincer", DEBKAfile Intelligence, October 14, 2003... According
to one Damascus source, Syria is meeting this threat by secretly
calling up 300,000 reservists to beef up its standing army of
roughly the same number." [ http://www.cuttingedge.org

ISRAELI STRIKES IN
GAZA KILL 9, WOUND 93
AP - OCTOBER 20, 2003 by Ibrahim Barzak - Israeli warplanes and
helicopters hit Palestinian targets in four separate strikes
Monday, a day of intense air assaults that killed nine people,
including at least two militants, and wounded 93 others. One
missile exploded on a street crowded with schoolchildren.
- The airstrikes came a day after Palestinian militants fired
eight homemade rockets from Gaza into Israel and Palestinian
gunmen ambushed an Israeli patrol in the West Bank, killing three
Israeli soldiers.
- The violent Islamic movements, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, threatened
revenge for Monday's airstrikes, and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel
Sharon pledged more raids, further clouding Mideast peace efforts.
- "The Israeli military will continue to act to foil terror
attacks, capture murderers and liquidate terror organizations,"
Sharon said in a speech to parliament.
- Later Monday, the helicopters targeted a car in the Nusseirat
refugee camp in central Gaza after nightfall, killing six people
and wounding 70, witnesses and Palestinian officials said. For

- ISRAELI MINISTER CALLS FOR INCINERATING DAMASCUS, BEIRUT
- IAP News - Information Clearing House, 8 October, 2003 -
Jerusalem: An Israeli cabinet minister said Wednesday that Israel
should carry out devastating air strikes against Syria an Lebanon
if Palestinian resistance groups continued to fight Israel's
colonialist occupation. The minister, Avigdor Lieberman, said
Israel should 'incinerate Beirut and Damascus' in retaliation
for resistance attacks in the West Bank. 'We should take advantage
of our military superiority and visit Syrian and Lebanon with
destruction for their support of Hamas and Islamic Jihad'."
- We have always stated that, if you knew what to look for,
you would be able to see End of the Age prophecy being fulfilled
in your Daily News. But, this one is a very big prophecy whose
time maybe getting close! God foretold that, at the End of the
Age, Damascus would be annihilated. Remember, archeologists recognize
that Damascus in the oldest continuously inhabited city in the
world!
- -----
- DAMASCUS:
- Damascus: The oldest inhabited city in the world", by
Shona Adhikari, Spectrum, June 23, 2003, "... this ancient
land that dates back to the 3rd. Millennium B.C. Damascus, the
capital, (is) said to be the oldest continuously inhabited city
in the world..." Listen now the Biblical prophecy foretelling
its destruction: "THE MOURNFUL, inspired prediction (a burden
to be lifted up) concerning Damascus [capital of Syria]. Behold,
Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins."
[Isaiah 17:1; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]
- One of the major thrusts concerning End of the Age judgments
against Israel's enemies is that Israel will be the "anvil"
in God's hands in which to carry out His judgments against the
enemies of Israel. Consider some of the passages that point to
this reality:
- "But on Mount Zion [in Jerusalem] there shall be deliverance
[for those who escape], and it shall be holy; and the house of
Jacob shall possess its [own former] possessions. The house of
Jacob shall be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame, but the
house of Esau shall be stubble; they shall kindle and burn them
and consume them, and there shall be no survivor of the house
of Esau, for the Lord has spoken it." [Obadiah 17-18; Ibid.]
In this passage, God is using Israel the "Houses of Jacob
and Joseph" to destroy the House of Esau, which is today's
Palestinians led by Arafat in the West Bank. The time is coming
when Israel is going to annihilate the Palestinians with fire,
just as this passage foretells.http://www.tribuneindia.com/2002/20020623/spectrum/travel.htm

- ISRAELI AND PALESTINIANS JOIN IN PEACE DRAFT
The New York Times by Greg Myre - October 14, 2003 - JERUSALEM,
Oct. 13 A group of prominent Israeli and Palestinian politicians,
working outside official channels, have written a symbolic peace
agreement that they hope could be a foundation for future negotiations.
- The announcement came with the Palestinian leadership engaged
in a political crisis that pits Yasir Arafat, the Palestinian
leader, against his newly installed prime minister, Ahmed Qurei,
over who will be the Palestinian security chief. While some Palestinian
officials said on Monday that no official action had been taken,
The Associated Press reported, quoting an unnamed official, that
Mr. Arafat had already decided to name his choice, Hakam Balawi,
to the position.
- The 50-page draft peace agreement was completed over the
weekend in neighboring Jordan by the two delegations, which included
current legislators and former cabinet members on both sides.
- The proposal offers highly specific solutions and calls for
major compromises on the most sensitive issues that have torpedoed
previous peace efforts, ranging from the status of Palestinian
refugees to Israeli settlements.
- The right-wing Israeli government immediately denounced the
proposal, calling it irresponsible, freelance diplomacy.

- U.S. SELLS ANTI-AIR MISSILES TO EGYPT
Washington [Menl] -- 6/1/03 - The United States has decided to
sell a multi-purpose missile to Egypt that can be used to defend
naval assets against air and missile threats. Officials said
the Bush administration and Congress have approved the sale of
Sparrow missiles to Egypt's air force. They said the missiles
could be delivered over the next two years. [IMRA - www.imra.org.il]

- SAUDIS CONFIRM PLANS TO END U.S. MILITARY PRESENCE ABU DHABI
[MENL]
- IMR - 2/13/03 Saudi Arabia has confirmed that Western military
troops will leave the kingdom later this year.
- Saudi officials said U.S., British and French forces would
leave the kingdom after the conclusion of a war against Iraq.
They said Saudi Arabia would relay a formal request to NATO countries
to end their military presence once the regime of President Saddam
Hussein is toppled and order is restored in Iraq.
- More than 5,000 Western troops, most of them U.S. Air Force
personnel, are deployed in the Prince Sultan Air Base. Saudi
Arabia has permitted the NATO members use of the air base to
monitor the no-fly zones in northern and southern Iraq.
- But Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khaled Bin Sultan
said he expects the United States and its allies to end the no-fly
zones over the next year. He said this will prompt the departure
of the Western military forces from the kingdom. [IMRA - www.imra.org.il]

- TEN YEARS SINCE OSLO: THE PLO'S "PEOPLE'S WAR"
STRATEGY AND ISRAEL'S INADEQUATE RESPONSE
- Joel S. Fishman - Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs - Jerusalem
Viewpoints No. 503 4-18 Elul 5763 / 1-15 September
2003 - Israel and the PLO have been confronting each other according
to completely different paradigms of conflict. Since the late
1960s, the PLO has adopted a "people's war" paradigm
that continued to guide its policies even after the signing of
the 1993 Oslo Accords. According to the "people's war"
paradigm, borrowed from Marxist-Leninist traditions in China
and Vietnam, conflict is waged on both the political and military
levels, but for militarily weaker guerilla groups, political
conflict is more important, especially the delegitimization of
an adversary and the division of his society. [IMRA - www.imra.org.il]

- 27 ISRAELI RESERVE PILOTS SAY THEY REFUSE TO BOMB CIVILIAN
AREAS
The New York Times - Jerusalem, Sept. 24, 2003 Twenty-seven
reserve pilots in the Israeli Air Force presented a signed petition
tonight saying that they would not take part in "illegal
and immoral" strikes in Palestinian areas in the West Bank
and the Gaza Strip. The airstrikes, aimed at Hamas militants,
sometimes kill Palestinian civilians. "We refuse to participate
in air force attacks on civilian populations," said the
letter, which was sent to the head of the air force, Maj. Gen.
Dan Halutz. "We refuse to continue harming innocent civilians."..
"We will continue to hunt terrorists," he said, adding,
"We have no intention of harming civilians.".. The
region has been relatively quiet for two weeks, but daily violence
persists. Israeli troops searching houses in Rafah, at the southern
end of the Gaza Strip, uncovered explosives in two homes and
clashed with Palestinian gunmen before dawn today, the military
said.An 18-year-old Palestinian man was killed and at least 10
Palestinians were wounded, according to witnesses and doctors
at the Rafah hospital. The Israelis demolished the two homes
with explosives. http://www.nytimes.com/2003/09/25/international/middleeast/25MIDE.html?th

- THE "GENEVA INITIATIVE" WILL NEVER WORK:
- The Geneva Initiative will never work not only
because it seems to willfully give up Jewish sovereignty over
Jerusalem, the ancient Jewish capital (the division of the city
implies an incipient threat to unify the city under Islamic rule).
It will never work not only because it involves the displacement
of 100,000 Jewish Israeli citizens just because Muslim Arabs
do not tolerate non-Muslim citizens in their territory (even
moderate Jordan prohibits residence of Jews in its
territory; on the other hand, imagine the outcry if Israel proposed
to expel 100,000 Muslims from its territory).
- The Geneva Initiative will never work because
Egypt, Syria, Iran, Libya and Arabia follow basic tenets of Islam
that mandate Muslims to retake any territory ever conquered by
Muslims; these countries are unlikely, therefore, to stop undermining
the very existence of the Jewish State, even if they agreed to
an armistice as a temporary tactical necessity. They would expect
the proposed Palestinian state to be used as a bridgehead for
an all-out Arab military offensive when the time comes.
- The Geneva Initiative will never work not only
because the PLO does not truly represent the political will of
the Arab population in PA territories - the promised free
elections in those territories will again be limited to candidates
hand-picked by the PLO leadership. The Initiative
will never work for an entirely different reason. The Geneva
Initiative will never work because to be acceptable by
Israel, the new Arab state must have limited sovereignty. The
entwined geography of the proposed new Arab state mandates that
it must be demilitarized, have limited control of its airspace,
have limitations on entry and exit of people, have limited rights
to form alliances with other counties, and be economically extremely
dependent on the State of Israel for many decades to come. All
these restrictions seem to be included in the Initiative.
Even if the PLO accepted all these constraints as a tactical
ploy, they will continue to foment local Arab dissatisfaction,
which undoubtedly will be exploited by extramural Arabs to continue
to undermine the existence of the Jewish state by incessant terrorism.

- THE HOLOCAUST AS MENTAL PARADIGM
Excerpt: by Henry Makow Ph.D. - January 27, 2002 - Generally
the Zionists served the globalist elite agenda, suppressed news
of the holocaust and didn't agitate for special measures. The
Allies bombed factories a few kilometres from Auschwitz but the
crematoriums and railroad tracks were untouched. The Zionists
believed that the greater the Jewish losses, the greater the
world's moral obligation to them.
- WE WERE LIED TO
- Young Jews like myself were told that Arab countries attacked
peace-loving Israel after the 1948 U.N. Partition. They broadcast
messages for the Palestinians to leave until the Jews were cleaned
up.
- In fact, Israel was given 57% of Palestine but immediately
took more land and caused 700,000 Palestinians to flee in terror
by slaughtering over 250 at Deir Yassin and another 250 at Lydda.
The Arab radio broadcasts were a fable. Arab broadcasts encouraged
the population to stay put. (Michael Prior, Zionism and the State
of Israel: A Moral Inquiry, 1999, pp.16-29, 187-205)
- David Ben Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, told
TIME magazine (Aug. 16,1948) that he envisaged a Jewish state
of ten million souls. Asked if that many could be accommodated
within the U.N. partition boundaries, he replied: "I doubt
it."
- Unknown to its citizens, Israel has always been designated
to colonize the Middle East and be a linchpin in the new world
order.
- "Our policy must be the unity of the human race,"
Ben Gurion told the TIME reporter. "We consider the United
Nations to be a Jewish ideal." Look at how the Mossad website
"Debka Weekly" last week characterized the upcoming
Iraq war: "Washington will have its hand on the oil lever
and the ability to make Iraq's neighbors dance to its plan for
reshaping the national borders and governments of the Middle
East." (Vol. 2, Issue 94, January 23, 2003)
- In conclusion, the holocaust gave the globalists the "moral
authority" to invade Palestine, and enlisted unwitting Jews
worldwide to their cause. In fact, they betrayed the trust of
European Jewry in the most heinous fashion. Israelis and Jews
in general can blindly follow their leaders, as European Jewry
did. Americans can trust George W. Bush. The result may be similar.
- Our "leaders," past and present, serve an international
cabal bent on ensnaring humanity. They are behind September 11
and it is they who will instigate the "inevitable"
bio terror attacks they now warn of. Will we also go like lambs
to the slaughter? Henry Makow, is the inventor of the board game
Scruples, and the author of A Long Way to go for a Date. He received
his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Toronto.

- KISSING THE BLACK STONE IS AN OBSTACLE COURSE
- HA'ARETZ 9 Feb.2003 By Danny Rubinstein - Suicide bomber
family members and other terrorists' relatives are special Mecca
guests of the Saudi Royal Family. - : "Every Muslim community
is entitled to a quota of Saudi visas ... for the Islamic obligation
of making the pilgrimage ... at least once in a lifetime"
- "Those who win depart ... in organised groups, having
paid ... about a thousand dollars that covers travel expenses
and accomodations in tent cities."
- "special invitation from the Saudi royal family, which
over the past two years, has organized --at its own expense --
haj pilgrimages for the parents or siblings of Palestinian shaheeds
('martyrs')."
- EXCERPTS: Today ... millions of Muslim pilgrims will be leaving
... Mecca to make their way to sacred sites ... for the various
rituals associated with the haj - the pilgrimage to Mecca. The
Saudi authorities have this year made preparations to host three
million Muslims .... Every Muslim community is entitled to a
quota of Saudi visas ... for the Islamic obligation of making
the pilgrimage ... at least once in a lifetime. ... [IMRA: Many
don't go even once. Others, especially Saudis, go many times.]
.. The Palestinians this year have been granted 10,000 Saudi
visas for the haj, and the Palestinian Authority's Waqf and Religious
Affairs Ministry, which is organizing the trips to Mecca, reports
that visa applications were received from more than 40,000 Palestinians.
- Even in past years, the number of Palestinians requesting
a Saudi visa for the haj has consistently been higher than the
number of visas allocated t ...and the ministry holds a draw
among the applicants. Those who win depart for Mecca in organized
groups, having paid a fee of about a thousand dollars that covers
travel expenses and accommodation in the tent cities.. . Every
Muslim pilgrim from Israel or the territories must be issued
an Israeli security pass ... .
- Intifada victims - This year... new problems have appeared.
After the terrorist attack ...ago on Tel Aviv's old central bus
terminal, restrictions have been imposed on Muslims below the
age of 35 traveling to Jordan. This has prevented the departure
for the haj of several hundred would-be pilgrims. After a series
of protests, the Jordanian and Israeli governments looked into
the matter about ten days ago and some of the young applicants
have been granted permission to leave for Mecca.
- Another issue involved the travel plans of several hundred
(according to some estimates, about a thousand) families of victims
of the intifada who wanted to travel to Mecca for the haj. These
have received a special invitation from the Saudi royal family,
which, over the past two years, has organized - at its own expense
- haj pilgrimages for the parents or siblings of Palestinian
shaheeds ("martyrs"). The PA has compiled lists of
the families of shaheeds and these families were given the status
of official guests of honor of Saudi King Fahd. The Saudi authorities
arranged accommodation for the families in luxury hotels, showered
them with gifts and even provided them with elegant buses that
bore the sign "Guests of the King." In a report that
appeared about a week ago in the East Jerusalem newspaper, Al-Quds,
Colonel Imad al-Natsheh, head of the Palestinian liaison office
in the Bethlehem district, said he had been informed that relatives
of shaheeds would not be permitted to travel to Mecca for haj.
Palestinian sources say that some of these families have managed
to reach Mecca despite the ban.
- The trip that the Palestinians make - from the eastern side
of Allenby Bridge to Mecca - takes about 20 hours. For two years
it has been forbidden for pilgrims from the West Bank to remain
in Jordan for any extended period of time. Amman is afraid that
Palestinians trying to flee the intifada will take advantage
of the haj season to remain permanently in Jordan. Thus, buses
carrying Palestinian pilgrims make only one brief stop in Jordan
- close to the Saudi border. The buses then proceed to Saudi
Arabia, where they make two more brief stops before arriving
in Mecca.. . .
- The Palestinian pilgrims get free of charge cardboard boxes
containing a sumptuous meal courtesy of ... Arafat.. . . In previous
generations, Muslim pilgrims would stay for weeks, even months,
in places located along the routes leading to the holy sites.
Today, however, the haj trip lasts ten days or at most, two weeks.
By the end of the week. most of this year's pilgrims will have
returned to the West Bank, to the Gaza Strip, and Israel. Dr.
Joseph Lerner, Co-Director IMRA - http://www.imra.org.il

- HUMAN SHIELDS STOPPED ISTANBUL
- (AP) - Border police on Friday (6 Feb.03) denied entry into
Turkey to a former US Marine who is leading a group of "human
shields" headed for Iraq ahead of a possible US-led attack,
an official said. Ken O'Keefe, the founder of the "Human
Shield Mission" protest group who flew into Istanbul from
Italy, was not let into the country when he presented a passport
issued by the World Service Authority. A spokesman of Istanbul
airport, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Turkey
does not recognize this passport. The spokesman said O'Keefe
protested, shouting that he had traveled across the world with
that passport and was a "citizen of the world." The
US-based World Service Authority issues passports on the basis
of an article of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights
that guarantees the right to travel freely. The authority says
the passport is recognized by more than 150 countries. TEXAS
JUDGE ORDERS JORDANIAN STUDENT DEPORTED DALLAS (AP) - JORDAN
TIMES 9 Feb.'03 - A federal judge has ordered the deportation
of a Jordanian graduate student who acknowledged he once considered
becoming a suicide bomber if the United States invades Iraq.
"I was looking at America as my enemy. If someone would
have approached me and asked me to do something against the country,
I was willing to do it," Tahir Ibrihim Aletwei said at his
deportation hearing Friday. Aletwei, 30, said he has changed
his views and confessed in order to help US authorities better
guard against people like him. Immigration Judge D. Anthony Rogers
ordered Aletwei deported by the end of next week.

- JIHAD HID BOMBERS' EXPLOSIVES IN TAIBEH MOSQUE
- HA'ARETZ 9 Feb.'03 - By Jalal Bana "..city police telephoned
Mayor Salah Jabara and told him of the arrest near Nablus of
two Islamic Jihad activists, who confessed to putting the bomb
in the mosque."
- "[Mayor Jabara said] 'The use of holy sites to harm
innocent civilians is no less severe than a terrorist attack.
What depths have these people [Islamic Jihad] sunk to?' "
- " 'We denounce every attempt to harm innocent civilians
and using young Israeli Arabs in Arab towns and villages for
these purposes,' [Knesset member]Tibi said."
- The residents and their leaders were furious with the Palestinian
Authority and Palestinian organizations, primarily Islamic Jihad,
whose activists had planted the bomb. "If the information
about the bomb had not reached the security forces in time, a
terrible, tragic disaster could have occurred in Taibeh,"
said Jabara. "The use of holy sites to harm innocent civilians
is no less severe than a terrorist attack. What depths have these
people sunk to?"
- Knesset member Ahmed Tibi sharply denounced the bomb planting
and reiterated his call to Palestinian organizations to stop
exploiting holy sites. "We denounce every attempt to harm
innocent civilians and using young Israeli Arabs in Arab towns
and villages for these purposes," Tibbi said.

- THE LAST DAYS OF DEMOCRACY
- HA'ARETZ MAGAZINE 24Jan.'03 EXCERPTS: The elections next
week are not about war and peace or even about the economy, social
policy or clean government. They are about the very existence
of the democratic regime in Israel. For years many people claimed
that the fact that we were able to maintain a democratic regime
while being engaged in a conflict with the Arab world bordered
on a miracle. The miracle business is in a deep recession just
now.
- Israel, like all other countries, is poised on a continuum
between democracy and dictatorship. Thwere is no regime that
is 100 per cent compatible with the ideal of liberal democracy.
Its all a matter of dosage. A large number of Israel's citizens
were raised and educated in authoritarian regimes. The have a
most pitiful conception of individual rights, the rule of law,
freedom of scientific creativity and freedom of expression. Until
a few years ago, Israeli society was moving in the direction
of democracy. In the last two years, we have changed direction.
After the elections we may cross the line on the road to despotism.
