Editor's Note: We recently had a request to check out the "Full Stature Ministries" and this page is their personal confession. Just reading through this testimony, one would not be disturbed by references out of the Old Testament as well as the New Testament unless one is informed. References to the Old Testament predominantly and using procedures from the Old Testament, are a red flag which is called today the Hebrew Roots Movement. The Old Testament prophesied Jesus's Coming. It is also the story of creation, God's life on earth, various prophets, many miracles, and how Israel was created, behaved and why God turned His back on Israel. It also teaches what the law was all about. Solomon's Temple was destroyed because Solomon, due to all his marriages brought Baal worship into the Temple which angered God. What came through in Dennis and Jennifer's testimony is the "corporate Body of Christ" which is not Biblical. To explain what that is about may we suggest an online book by Ed Tarkowski which describes the movement. The links are on the bottom of this page. The links to Rick Joyner, Brownsville Revival, and Cindy Jacobs also reveal where their ministry runs, i.e. REVIVAL Revival at this point in time is not Scriptural. |

PERSONAL REVELATION During June of 1990, the Lord began to
give me revelation concerning His corporate strategy for
the end times. In the illustration of Gideon, Judges 6:16 says,
"And the Lord said to him, surely I will be with you and
you shall defeat the Midianites as ONE MAN." This well-known
portion of scripture pertains to a group of 300, a remnant army,
functioning as one, which would defeat the Midianites. The concept
of "one man" as a Person, a purpose, a plan, and a
place in which we are to seek to dwell began to unfold. From
this one verse a revelation of the corporateness of the
Body of Christ began to unfold. I was then drawn to a portion of scripture in Isaiah 9:2,where it says, "the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death upon them a light has shined." Verse 4 says "For you have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder as in the day of Midian." I began to see that the Godhead’s plan has always been birthed out of corporateness. God’s plan was to send His son, the Messiah, into the world to shine as a light to people who sit in darkness. He is, in fact, the Father of Lights, sending His Son as The Light that we might become children of light, in order to defeat the works of darkness in this life. Jesus’ victory was total and complete, but it was His will to bring many sons to glory and to share in this great victory, to be delivered from the kingdom of darkness and translated into the kingdom of the Son of His love. I began to turn to the book of Ephesians 2:14, "That He Himself [meaning Christ] who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself ONE NEW MAN from the two, thus making peace." The revelation that these were two people groups again indicated the oneness of God’s strategy, reconciling man to God and man to man through the blood of the cross. Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God This oneness exhibited in the Godhead is depicted in Deuteronomy 6:4, "Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God He is ONE [plural] God." This "one" in this verse is plural, like one bunch of grapes. The plurality in the Godhead functions in perfect oneness and is an example what the maturing Body of Christ is to emulate in oneness. It is as though the Body in its current condition is like individual, unattached grapes in organizations and camps. God’s design for the Body is pictured in a cluster of grapes, as an organism, or one entity, functioning as a whole in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Place of unity (such as in the Upper Room, dedication of Solomon’s Temple, etc.), the Plan for an army to strike the enemy as "one man", and the Ultimate Purpose, Eph 1:10, "In the dispensation of the fulness of time He might gather together in one all things in Christ." In Ephesians 3, we see the Purpose, or the intent was that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in heavenly places. Ephesians 4 says that the mature church, who would walk in unity learning forbearance, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit, one body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all. Ephesians 4: 13 says, "Til we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ [ONE NEW MAN]...No longer be children tossed to and fro...but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ - from whom the whole Body joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the Body for the edifying itself in love." This One New Man is joined, knit, and every part does its share. This One New Man shall be a remnant who shall shine as a light to become an adequate witness, a city on a hill, that the world might believe. As in the day of Gideon, the people of God, apart from the 300, were included in the spoils of victory. Based on the Law of First Mention, Genesis 2:5 states, "For the LORD had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground." There is a need for the message of ONE MAN to be proclaimed in these end times to make ready a people for the great outpouring of the Spirit of God to bring in the harvest. A corporate entity is required to rout the enemy. A synergism with an outpouring of the grace of God could produce that adequate witness that Jesus prayed for in John 17, that the church has, so far, only received glimpses of in shadows and types - not a perfect church, but an adequate love model, that the world might believe. As God prepares this corporate man, this NEW MAN, the rain won’t be upon the earth until there is a MAN to till and reap in the harvest. It is the will of God for many sons to come unto glory. For this to come about, we need to focus on a common goal, the person of Christ Himself, mutual respect, and forbearance. Then, realizing that it will be the efficacy of the Holy Spirit and not the effort of man, the message sounding from heaven is that we need to be a people prepared (Luke 1:17). ONE NEW MAN PERSON - Jesus Christ. "Hear, O Israel, the LORD our
God He is one (plural) God"(Deut. 6:4). PLAN - strategy (Judges 6:16 - to strike the enemy as one man). PURPOSE - "In the dispensation of the fulness of time He might gather together in one all things in Christ" (Eph. 1:10) ONE NEW MAN IN- Throughout scripture the term "one man" has been used in at least these five categories: They came together for: * Worship - Solomon’s Temple (2 Chr 5:13-14) "It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God." Future: I believe that as the Body of Christ comes into full stature, believers, as worshippers, will begin to gather together as ONE MAN, and reach new heights in intimacy and worship, orchestrated by the Holy Spirit, into the high praises of God. * Word - to hear the word. (Neh 8:1) "And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel." Future: I believe that as the Body of Christ comes into full stature, they will begin to gather together as ONE MAN, discerning the rhema from the logos, particularly as it is being preached and testified through and by believers. * Warfare - Gideon (Judges 6:16) "And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man." Future: I believe the Body of Christ, as it comes into full stature and learns deeper forbearance with one another, will come together as ONE MAN and truly don the Ephesians 6 corporate armor, as the Army of the Lord. * Witness - Prayer of Jesus (John 17:21) "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." Future: I believe that the Body of Christ as it comes into full stature will become an adequate witness of the love and the character of Jesus Christ, on a scale and level never before seen, demonstrating to the world a corporate witness of ONE MAN, drawing in a great harvest. It is as though oneness is best described as the plurality in the Godhead, and oneness will be displayed in the maturity of the Body functioning as a cluster of grapes rather than as unassociated individual grapes. The Body of Christ will become an organism rather than an organization. (Isa 65:8 NKJV) "Thus says the LORD: "As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says, 'Do not destroy it, For a blessing is in it,' So will I do for My servants' sake, That I may not destroy them all." (Psa 133:1 NKJV) "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing; Life forevermore." * Work - "greater works" (Ezra 3:1) "And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem." Future: I believe that the Body of Christ, as it comes into full stature, and functions under the Psalm 133 anointing in effective working, will display the glory and the power of God in "greater works." (Eph 4:16 NKJV) "From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." (John 14:12 NKJV) "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."
