Kimberly Daniels tours the country in a 30-foot Winnebago dubbed "The Demon Buster" as she teaches others about deliverance ministry. Matching faith with a fearlessness she learned growing up in a tough inner-city neighborhood, she has been known to tell witches they serve "sissy, punk gods." Performing Christian rap music, the 40-year-old candidly shares the testimony of her turbulent life-troubled teen, Olympic hopeful, drug addict and military officer-before she was set free from demonic oppression and propelled to help others find the same liberty. "You cannot bring someone out of the world and into the church and [think] because they said the sinner's prayer they're going to be automatically transformed," she says. "It is hard to get your mind renewed when you're tormented by demons." Daniels traces her own struggles back to a generational curse she believes came from her grandmother, once imprisoned for murder. As a teen she seemed set for a successful athletic career but fell into drugs and lost a baby while pregnant before trying to clean up her act by joining the army. After committing her life to Christ she began to have strange dreams and feel an evil presence in her home. The dark cloud lifted after she received prayer at a conference and returning to her Jacksonville, Fla., hometown she began to reach out to others and pray for them. She learned a lot about spiritual warfare from those involved in the African religion Yoruba who sought her out for help. They told her the names of the demonic forces controlling their lives. "I taught them Jesus, and they taught me warfare," she says. "They were used to spiritual warfare from the dark side." Among those touched through Daniels' Spoken Word Ministries (SWM) was Lavette Peoples, then a practicing witch who took part in casting spells and sacrificing animals. "I was crying out for help, and nobody in the city recognized I was full of demons," she says. "But when I went to Kim's church I received deliverance. My life is changed." Daniels' ministry has not only impacted people from the streets. Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Emmanuel Smith is part of the church. "I received deliverance in front of my teammates," he says. "Everyone was shocked. But my life has been going uphill since." Jaguar linebacker Edward Thomas says his faith has grown since joining SWM. "It's been tangible to me that we can do what the Bible says, speaking in tongues and casting out devils. Seeing people like Emmanuel delivered leaves you no doubt that God has power. It set me on fire for God." Daniels, who leads the ministry with her second husband, Danny, a former drug dealer saved through SWM, says she doesn't focus solely on deliverance. "We have a well-balanced teaching ministry because you can't bring people out of the occult without the Word. We minister to the whole man, but...if the devil lifts his head, we deal with him." The full story of Kimberly Daniels' life and ministry is told in the February issue of "Charisma" magazine, out next week. Perspective Courses as well. Media Spotlight did series on Evangelizing

who endorse the group such as Dr. Billy Graham, Dr. Bill "Evangelizing the world - especially unreached people groups - is a primary responsibility of Christians everywhere. Nothing I know of will inform and motivate Christians for world evangelization like Perspectives!" - Billy Graham Dr. Graham and all those who endorse 'Perspectives' courses are involved in the Lausanne Covenant which has led Christians into Interfaith advocated by the President of the United States. Fundamental Christians, who wish to abide in the Word of God alone, are excluded from the present agenda. We are labeled as extremists and find ourselves without a country.
