Emergent Church or The New Apostolic
Reformation.a New Reformation?

There are three major false teachings that are taking place today that DO NOT line up with scripture. 1.Dominionism / Kingdom Now Theology 2. Spiritual Formation / Contemplative Prayer 3. Replacement Theology. These teachings can be found in what is now called The New Apostolic Reformation and the Emergent Church.

The term New Apostolic Reformation [NAR] was invented for the purpose of starting a new reformation movement in all churches. The members of the NAR are all self proclaimed apostles and prophets and many pastor their own church. Their mission is to unite all believers as they use the false teaching of Kingdom Now theology. Many of these teachers claim that God is doing a new thing or they have some kind of new revelation that is contrary to scripture.

Kingdom Now or Dominionism teaches that the body of Christ must take over all government, business and social structures before Christ can return and that we the body of Christ should NOT be waiting and looking up for the return of Jesus, but only keep our eyes here on earth and build the Kingdom now. This teaching takes our eyes off Jesus and puts it on mans ability to usher in Christ return. This is contrary to the bible and we know from scripture that there will be a great falling away form the faith in the last days. We know from the scriptures that we are to watch and pray keeping our eyes on Jesus.

The Emergent church has a theology that claims the Christian church needs to change so it can adapt to the twenty first century. There is no one specific leader of this movement, but it involves many mega churches and business men such as Willowcreek and Sadleback Their theology is really no theology at all, except to move away from fundamental Christianity. They teach Spiritual Formation or Contemplative prayer that uses ancient Hindu practices of silence, breathing technique's and to empty the mind so one can let the energy in. This is an occult practice that they now claim all Christians can use to center on Jesus. They also teach many to use a mantra style prayer. This is the practice of repeating a word or phrase over and over until you are enlightened and this will bring you into an altered state of consciousness, this practice is known as lectio divina. The deeper practice of this leads to having spirit guides. One must be aware that any of these practices leads to demonic activity.

Replacement theology teaches that the church of Christ is now spiritual Israel. This teaching has led many to participate in anti-semitism. Many in this camp believe the book of revelations was fulfilled in 70 A.D. This teaching adds or takes away from the book revelation. Revelation 22:18, I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which is described in this book.

The Pastors that have joined up with these false teachers DO NOT announce, notify or bring attention to the these organizations by name that they have aligned themselves with. Many attenders and members of these congregations are not aware of a new doctrine that these organizations adhere to and now have been adopted by their church. The bible speaks of these people in 2 Peter 2:1, "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them".

If your church has replaced their teaching format, introduced new spiritual classes or changed their worship style, I urge you to research the authors in your church book store and also the guest speakers to find out if they belong to the Emergent Church or The New Apostolic Reformation.

Last Days Alert was born due to my own experience as a member of a non-denomination church that now teaches Emergent Church doctrine. My next experience with this apostasy came when I was attending another non-denomination church. I was led to research the guest speakers from this church and soon found out they were The New Apostolic Reformation. Denomination churches have also been infected by these false teachings and pastors are very subtle in teaching this heresy. Many of us thought we would always be aware of the apostate church that teach in the name of Jesus, such as Mormons and Jehovah's witness, but the bible is clear about false brethren rising up from among true believers.

If you think that your church can not be affected by false teachings you are deceiving yourself. We know from scripture there will be a falling away from the faith in the last days. Almost every book in the new testament gives a warning of false teachers who rise up from among our own people. We can all avoid being deceived by studying the word of God and having daily fellowship with the Lord and other true believers. Some Christians that belong to these churches do feel that something is wrong, but they can not figure out why they feel this way and for this reason I can not be silent.

This new theology is not simple error due to ignorance, which we could tolerate by correcting in love. What they teach is called heresy. Heresy is a lie mixed with the truth. Ephesians 5:11, Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. The links below have extensive files for research. Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

1 Timothy 4:1
The spirit clearly says that in the latter times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
They will turn their ears away form the truth and turn aside to myths
